I love the Chinese cuisine served her. you should try the POT RICE here. it is prepared with chicken, mushroom and prawns. this pot rice is little saucy so there is no need to order for gravy. but please make sure that you request them to serve you when it is super hot cause when this gets cold it loses all the fun. I hang out here with my friends sometimes for late dinners. You should try this restaurant. One of my friend came to my place last night so i ordered Pot Rice for her and she relished it so much so.

Where I sat there was no fan so it was hot. The place was crowded however all were just waiting I waited for an hour plus for just 1 Pot-rice. The people who ordered after me food was served to them. Then the rice came and I wasn’t served a plate. The service is not organized. The pot rice was delicious but I was extremely disappointed with the service.

Came to eat Kolhapuri thali ! Chicken Shukla was so dry and hard felt like I’m chewing rubber. When I spoke to the staff he spoke rudely “ as this is how kolhapuri is suppose to be “ as if I don’t know what kolhapuri cuisine is !!!! However it was about the rude staff not the food. Go here only with the expectation of having desi Chinese food or Indian food. I like the seating, in this weather, outdoor seating is really nice. The menu is very extensive with a lot of vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options both in Chinese and Indian food. However, the American chopsuey we ordered a bit too sweet and the noodles were submerged in the sauce, leaving no dry and fried noodles, also the sauce was too much. The dragon chicken was alright, the helpings are huge. Overall, just ok-ok.

The Taste Of Good

I have been seeing Kemps Corner since I was new in Dubai, but recently I noticed that the restaurant that was empty almost every day has now every day patrons. Curious, I checked out what’s the sudden change. We ordered Sev Puri, Anda Burji and Special Mixed Veg Kathi Roll. While waiting for our order, we had a chat with the server. he explained to us that Kemp’s Corner was just served Indo-Chinese food before but now they serve any South Indian dish and even Chaat. Very sad service...The place is good and the desserts ordered were delicious and yumm...But unhappy with the service.. Ordered the vada pav as snacks and we were given the desserts first to eat n then the snacks..Apart from this we had ordered fruit salad which wasn't served till we finished eating other stuffs..so my friend who came only for fruit salad had to wait n eat when we were all done.. I visited this place with my wife on women's day. We had Chinese food-hot n sour soup, dry chilli chicken wings and triple schezwan noodles. Soup was very good Chicken wings was also good but only 6 pieces compared to other restaurants were they give 8 pieces Triple Schwezan noodles was also very good The ambience was also very good The staff was very supporting Food seems to be slightly pricey compared to other restaurants in the locality especially the chicken wings.. We were looking for the parking in Karama and we came across to Kemps corner, "todays special"catch our attraction: prawns Koliwada, Bombil ( bombay duck)fry,kolhapuri thali,Malwani thali & Surmai thali. Service : Horrible - guy came to our table after 7mins to take the order, surprised only 2 tables was occupied with guests then to they took time to take our orders, Prawns koliwada delivered after 25 mins Food : being from mumbai we ordered my fav solkadhi (coconut milk with Kokam) very yummy perfect consistency must try👍 Bombil rawa fry🎣 fish was fresh upper rawa (semolina) coating came out from fish it was diaster & prawns Koliwada (serving 8pcs)🍤 prawns were big in size fresh nicely coated with masala and deep fryed but too much oily. All this above experience👆 felt not to order any more items.

This is for the people from Mumbai looking for some Desi Mumbaiwala Chinese food. Tasty is good. We ordered Chicken Mongolian for starters which was a well refined version of chicken crispy. Burnt chilly noodles and the gravy were also not something one will not like. Service is good. Hirender was the person serving and he did a good job of explaining things before ordering. Highlight was the Masala Pav. It’s a sure recommendation. Pav Bhaji also good.

Fried rice, soup and chicken chilly are finger licking good. Roaming around Karama for a good budget place to have lunch or dinner with friends or family, Kemp's is the ideal place. Same old answer that "we are working on it" Restaurant's answer "we lost your order" and that's when zomato showed order on the way about 40 minutes back. Coming to the food, the momos were just ok but the drumsticks...oh my god! Yuccckkkkk!! One bite and i felt like im having drumsticks made and preserved sonce 1990. Such a bad taste n absolutely miles away from any flavor! Never ordering from kemps corner again and advising all friends to stay away. Don't believe the pictures, this place is going down for sure. It's just a matter of time. NEW REVIEW: 3 rating The restaurant manager, Silvester, called many times and apologized for the mess. He insisted that I must try the chicken lollipop again and sent a complimentry portion yestetday. Well, it did look what it should be and taste was ok too. But not the best lollipos I've had in bur dubai restaurants. However, I apprwciate silvester's customer service and the "resent" food.

The owner had her guests over for dinner and did not give a same if other customers were getting affected by the loud screaming n screeching n singing of her quests. After numerous requests to reduce the noise They did not listen and said it's the owners guest so they cut say the guests to keep it low. Pathetic. Had to leave the restaurant instead of dining there!

Heard about the Mumbai style food and wanted to try this place for quite some time and t'was an absolute diassapointment. Considering the cold weather we decided to sit inside and ended up sitting next to an overflowing dustbin. Ignored that and decided let's give the food a chance. We ordered the Burnt chilli fried rice which was bland, Dry chilli chicken was no good either. Chicken Malvani and Wade were just ok. We finally ordered the fresh lime soda which was the saving grace however it arrived 8 minutes after we finished our meal. Another good thing was our server who seemed new but had a pleasant smile throughout the service.

The Chinese cuisine has the right induction of Indian flavours, that makes it special and one reason, why, we as a family eat here and order home often. DESI CHINESE - BAMBIYA ESTYLE !!! Named after a posh locality in South Mumbai, there is nothing plush about this joint in the heart of Karama.... What it does not have by way of a sophisticated decor, it makes up by way of good, affordable spicy Indo Chinese food. We opted to sit in the outer patio area given the great weather rather than in the small congested area indoors. The restaurant offers menu choices ranging from Chinese to Chatpat, Maharashtrian to Malvani, thali options and much more... We chose the Chinese menu option and started off with the Tom Yum soup & Hot Pepper soup aling with the spicy Potato wedges - all the items were tasty with a generous portion size. For mains we ordered the Veg Sizzler and the Hakka Noodles. The veg. Sizzler was a disappointment - steamed rice in a bowl on a sizzler plate is not a done thing.... The veg. Hakka noodles were good. The taste of the entire meal had a distinct Indian spicy level which a proper Mumbaite would recognize. Prices are pocket friendly and service is good... Definitely worth a visit....

Tried their Char sui Prawns for starters and the Kohlapuri Thali for mains. Please make sure your order has atleast one of this if you’re a fan of spicy food. It had been a while since i had something as spicy as this at a restaurant. And trust me, i relished every bite i took. The food i not just pure spicy but absolutely delicious and flavorful as well. If you are craving for some yummy Chinese food this is the place to go. They also serve a lot of other cuisines like Goan, malvani....Hidden in the bylanes of Karama this place has very friendly staff & the most friendly owner Hazel. Enjoyed the crispy chilli potato wedges, definitely a must try. For The main course we had the burnt garlic noodles along with hunan chicken. The highlight of the dinner was the dessert. Ice cream with fried noodles topped with honey. I have been visiting this place for sometime now since they opened & it has never failed us.

So earlier i gave this place a low review on account of delays in delivery and subpar food. However, the restaurant graciously called and explained the reason for the delay, which was quite understandble. Now perhaps the reaaon i found the food unpalatable was due to my anger which affected my tastebuds. But with a second set of meals and faster delivery it's actually not that bad at all! Ordered Chicken lollypop 4/5 stirfry chicken 3.5/5 hunan chicken gravy 3.5/5 shangai noodles 3/5 triple schezuan rice 2.5/5 The food was pretty tasty and quantity was good for 4 people. I guess they use msg and soda bicarb. Cause I was feeling bloated after. Worth the money. The delivery was right on time. Expect decent chinese fare which is value for money. It is a little indochina which is fine by me. Take care and tantalise your taste buds till my next review.

Ordered a veg hakka noodles and tofu tri bean stir fry. The food came on time. I had asked for a bit of gravy instead of dry stir fry, but it wasn't so. The beans also felt a little burnt. Went to Kemp's Corner with my friend yesterday. We sat outside as the weather was good but they also switched on their outdoor fan to make us comfortable. Their menu has a lot of items but we were there for the common usual suspects - chicken lollipop, chicken fried rice and Hunan chicken. Adored their chicken lollipops and with a hint of schezwan sauce was amazing! The rice and gravy mixed well and took me back to my days in Mumbai. The inside is small, capable of seating 10 at a time. Outside seating can accomodate about 20-25 people. The service was fast and our waiter was friendly. Highly recommended for desi chinese.Went there with Silika Pinto 😀

We have been to Kemps Corner 3 to 4 times. It's been a great experience every time we are there. Chinese food is the best among all the kinds of foods they have. The food taste and quality is fabulous coupled with an equally excellent service from Slyvester and Team who make your dining lively and memorable by paying very close attention to every detail. If you're new there.... ask Slyvester before finalizing your order. Char sui prawns is one of the best appetizers I have ever had...... highly recommended. Apple chicken and Dry chicken chilly wings are other good starters to opt. In the main course, Burnt chilly rice is a very good option if you want to try something new other than the regular fried rice / schezwan fried rice. Chicken manchurian gravy went well with the burnt chilly rice. The dining is not complete without savoring the fried chocolate ice cream which is too good and liked by all ages. Great place, worth a try if you are a genuine Indian Chinese Foodie.

Kemps food reminds me of Bombay street side Chinese food which is absolutely delicious. Staff is friendly and very observant. We were just discussing that we wished the fried ice cream was chocolate flavored and not vanilla and they indeed gave us the chocolate flavor! Personal favorite in veg is the Manchurian gravy and Schezwan fried rice. You'll definitely want to eat here more than once. Their seating arrangement is tiny inside. They have outdoor seating as well which would only be nice during winters.

Order placed at 8:30 pm and till 10:45 pm they are saying ..they are checking with the delivery person... it Seems to me that the delivery person has lost or went home instead of deliverind the order... We use to order from Kemps corner every weekend as they had some really good chinese... Last weekend we ordered and it flipped my mind... Quality was wayyyy below average... reduced quantity and stale schezwan chutney... the gravy was also wattery and tasteless.. we ordered for triple schezwan rice and burned garlic fried rice... if this quality is going to continue than I believe you will loose your loyal customer...

Went to this restaurant after long to eat chinese...but was surprised to their new goan n maharastrian menu. Enjoyed malvani fish curry...fish tawa masala & szchwan noodles...sorry not to forget gulab jamun with vanilla icecream ;) will definitely go again

I have visited here 2 times and liked their food. They have both inside and outside sitting arrangements but inside is too small. I placed order for soup and they served the soup with some fried noodles it was amazing. Overall food quality is good but quantity of rice or noodles are less.

"Kemps corner" popular place in mumbai.. Inspried from that i got resturant in dubai karama called "kemps cornor". being an mumbaikar i thought i should definelty visit this place and taste the food and so i did that.. One of my favorite food from this resturant is "burnt chilly fried rice".., and "maharashtrain thaali". Ambiance is good, they have utilised whatever place they have effectively. Staff is also very polite and friendly plus they always susgest me to try someting new everytime i visit there. If i have to rate this place i would give 4 purely for food and good taste

Came across this brilliant chinese restaurant in Karama serving some kickass food. The flavours reminded me of bombay street chinese with off-course a cleaner feel. The chopsuey was ace, the fried ice cream was bomb, for my healthy friend we had the steamed wontons and the kemps pot rice was just bloody perfect. For my people in this area, this place will blow your mind!

As we dint find a place in their neighboring restaurant we decided to try this joint but my friends were really hesitant to get inside as it was empty but still I believe that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover so finally entered the restaurant . Well the restaurant is more of Chinaman and less of Kemp's corner . The guy immediately came to us and gave the menu and stood dere only without even giving us the time to c d menu as if he wanted us to scan the menu and give the order. So once we place the order every item arrived after we finished the other one. The food taste was pretty decent but the service was slow . Restaurant had ample number of staff but they looked pretty disinterested. The ambience of the restaurant is too dark. My ratings totally based on my experience:- Ambience:-1.5 Service:-2 Taste :-3.5 Food is worth trying but again the service and ambience kills the joy of eating. Must try:- Pav bhaji and masala chai.

We went in expecting a typical Marathi flavoured taste, looking at the name of the restaurant ...and needless to say, they most certainly lived up to our expectations. The ambience was perfect, and the small decorations really help incorporate that 'Mumbai' feeling in the customers. The waiters were quick to assist us with our seating and menu. The owners themselves were present and looking after the smooth functioning of the restaurant, which in my opinion really sets it apart from your conventional weekend restaurant. The orders took no more than 10 mins to be brought to the table, but definitely there was no compromise on the taste of the food. All in all, we were really delighted and would strongly recommend this restaurant. Definitely worth another shot!

I was quite apprehensive when i read the name - its kind of confusing! Kemps Corner is a street name in Mumbai, so not sure the sure the connection to China man. Over a Friday headed over for dinner surprisingly got my parking spot and also inside seating. The menu is too vast and wonder how they manage it - it took us a long time to decide what we want. We decided to skip the chinese and went for the Indian. Ordered the mutton malvani with chappatis and a mutton thali. The mutton malvani was more of a lamb malvani - we have restaurants confusing the issue. Lamb was undercooked and had a weird smell (whereas mutton does not smell). The chappatis were very delicious and the best i had so far compared to other restaurants. The mutton thali had the same gravy, i did feel that they should have mentioned to us that both the gravies will be same, we could have ordered something different. They had very limited space inside and ample space on the outside but really in this weather, how feasible that will be. They need to work on their lighting and various rubbish props that they have in the restaurant. The hand wash is on the outside. Service can be better as I could not understand what they said or maybe they did not understand us.

A small restaurant tucked away on the old residential complex in Karama. This restaurant offers a really wide variety of comfort food from chinese to all parts of India including Goa and Maharashtra. Food quality is decent with good portions and fair with taste. Quick friendly service being a relatively smaller seating area indoors. Also has some outdoor seating setup. Tried soups (manchow and mushroom) which were wholesome with veggies and chicken. Veg fried rice was done well with not too much oil. Mongolian chicken was fresh and crispy with good portion size. Most popular for chinese and dimsums but even other varieties are worth a try. Strong competition from next door restaurant and some issue finding a parking slot. But I would recommend giving this one a try for sure.
