(التعليق الأصلي) This is not my first visit to Appam corner but after a long period, but ordered full veg items first time. The Appams we ordered were good but the other items were not up-to the mark. Veg stew we ordered had no flavours and full of white floor sauce and no traces of coconut milk at all. Flavoursome veg stew would have been great to enjoy those hot and fresh appams. Curry leaves soup we ordered tasted spicy and did have flavour but it tasted more like made from ready mix powder instead fresh curry leaves soup. Dry curry leaves powder on top of the soup was bit annoying and I would have preferred fresh curry leaves instead. Chilly baby corn was okay in taste but kind of mushy and not crispy the way I would like to eat. Maybe going for all veg dishes was mistake as the place seems to be better for non vegetarian food.

They have everything in the menu usually how a Typical Kerala restuarant look like. Best part is they are providing free Appam during weekdays if you bought any Curry / Side dish. Its a good deal. Their Appam’s very soft and tasty ones. Must try if they charge during weekdays also🤪 Its worth eating. Curry we took is not that great it was Chicken something. We tried Peech Poratta Veg , stuffed with all types of vegitable which was awesome. Tea and Coffee is also fine. Overall good fooding experience. They have outdoor and indoor dining. Place is neat and family friendly. Recommending to try Appam and other dishes. Their service and hospitality is good

Ethnic Indian Food at its best. Desi Dhaba is Punjabi based restaurant with a classy ambiance and delicious food. I ordered - Seehk Kabab, Bhuna Gosht with Garlic Naan. I loved the Spice blended with perfect garlicky gravy. They too have a live musical performance with bhangra dance. Strongly recommended if you into Punjabi folk music and desi food, You will love this place. They also have parking spots.

Dhaba styled look has a good vibes at the entrance (punjabi vibes) .⁣ ⁣ The ambience is nice with a stage at the centre and live music is there with an open bar and glass kitchen where we can watch chef while they cooks .⁣ ⁣ The food quality served is good and all items are very nicely done and manager there Mr.Puneet is very friendly and helpful.⁣ ⁣ If you are looking for some good indian food with drinks then this is a must visit place .⁣ ⁣

Mr. Lobo, Prince & Ambreen were so nice. They open the restaurant at 7 PM however we reached at 5 PM. They arranged everything for us with a beautiful smile on their faces. Full marks to food but hospitality will get extra marks

We visited this place at a very late hour around 1 am in the morning. The place for temporary shifted upstairs in the banquet hall due to some renovations. Our expectations were very low considering the hour that we walked in at and although we were the only customers at the restaurant then, the live singing and dancing was done as enthusiastically as would have been done in a houseful kinda atmosphere. The food served was very good but the courteous staff and atmosphere made the day!

Tried this restaurant on Friday, live music with Ghazals on demand, followed by Bhangra. Music + Food makes you relax, what else we need. Ordered Paneer Tikka, Daal, Manchow soup , Kadhai Paneer. Everything was perfect and served in traditional bowls. Will visit again soon

Have dined in and taken out from this place a few times. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in DIP and immediate vicinity. Most of their curries, kebabs and biriyani are all good. Not cheap but worth the money. Special appreciation to the chef for keeping my taste buds craving for good Indian food satisfied. Would be happy to see they started home delivery when if I was feeling lazy on an evening.

This place is hard to find now because of the road works, else it was on the main road for quite long. Ambience - 5 on 5 Price - 3 on 5 Staff courtesy - 5 on 5 Food taste & quality - 5 on 5 Ordered, Fish tikka, Chicken Kebab, Fish Biryani, Bread (Nan) & Malai Kofta. The food was served hot and the taste was amazing except malai kofta. The kofta was too hard actually. If you are looking for some extra decent place to sit comfortably and have a nice north indian lunch or dinner, this needs to be your choice. Typically DIP 1 is a place wherein all the restaurants are over crowded during lunch. This comes as the best rescue for beating the crowd and super good food.

Had some unplanned guests with North Indian taste buds last evening and decided to place my bets on Desi Dhaba. We have dined in quite a few times at this place and have really liked the services and food so decided to do a take away this time. So we ordered soya chaap, amritsari murg tikka for starters and palak paneer, murg methi and tadka daal for the mains. End result: we had a houseful of well satisfied guests who thoroughly enjoyed the dinner served. Soya chaap although bit spicy was soft and juicy.. murg tikka was tender and flavorful too.. palak paneer and murg tikka were extremely well done.. the winner was the tadka daal which was so yumm that none of us could stop our taste buds from devouring the ever green daal chawal.. thanks Desi Dhaba for the delicious evening.. 👍

Literally no words to describe this place! Perfect food, perfect service, perfect ambiance and perfect entertainment. Had the republic day special menu and the food was completely like you get in a traditional indian dhaba - full of favours. They have marvellous live bhangra and live music. They even have majlis type sitting so one can enjoy the food comfortably.

Purely Punjabi .. it was an amazing night at Fortune Park Hotel, Desi Dhaba Rooftop event! The food was awesome, loved the specially done mooli ka saag and Punjabi kadi, nobody makes dhaba meat like desi dhaba! Gajjar ka halwa was finger licking. DJ was playing the best of Punjabi music, dholi was great too.. the lady singer sang nice Punjabi boliya! Listening to sundar mundri in dubai was so nostalgic. Thank you for making our night! We went here for lohri celebration they have organized. They have advertised it like anything but when we went there and found nothing as such only the entertainment was good but if I talk about food its worst. It was a rooftop event. They food was tasteless with not much of the varieties. Worst service and food ever I found in dubai. Food was all cold and breads they have kept in open and if you ask them for anything they are like that its already been finished. They charged a good amount for this and service and food was worst.

Visited Desi Dhaba for their set Thali lunch earlier this week.. At 29AED for Non Veg or Veg its amazing.. They have a good variety & tasty food which includes vegetables, Dals, Goat & Chicken gravy, freshly made roti's, rice, Lassi and desert. The portion is also big. Unfortunately the Thali is only available for dine in and I wish they have a take out option too.

If you need authentic Punjabi food as well as Punjabi ambience think no more head straight to this place in DIP. The set up and ambience is traditional punjabi style as well as the option of a modern one. Also in the evenings you have punjabi dances and music with all the costumes and lights. Also they have live music band who plays songs of your request. The food is really good.Whether its chicken tikka or butter chicken, tandoori paneer or daal its well done, fresh ingredients and right amount of spices. They have a few free complimentary stuff which is cool. Although its a bit expensive , the place is really nice . its also popular among the non Indian community. Certianly recommended!!!

Though I had heard a lot about this place in other branches, me and my colleagues were highly disappointed by the food, Service and the Staff. The sheer rudeness of the manager, Furqan Shah, has left me with no other option but to write this review harshly. If a restaurant cant take a calm critique from their customers face to face (which the manager couldn't take and got agitated), then its a lost opportunity for them. We went for lunch and ordered the non veg platter. The chicken tasted OK but the mutton was hard and chewy, like when its old, not fresh. When we pointed it out, it was as if they din't care. Anyways, we then moved to the main course which was Tadka daal( full of salt), Methi Chicken (again full of salt) and mutton curry which too tasted a bit stale. Even if one person dint like it, it made sense but all of us felt that the food was not tasting right. We couldn't go further than a quarter or half Naan cause health comes first for us. As good as the food looked, am sorry to say but it tasted crap.We were truthfully, very eager to try out the food in this branch but the rudeness of the staff, the food and the laid back attitude in service were a huge disappointment for all of us on that particular day. We might never visit this particular branch again and also spread the word/ give our honest opinion about this place to others around.

Good food and a lovely ambience with live music, with singers accepting song requests and amazing music to go with food. The staff was really friendly as well. We had the malai kofta and their signature dish of punjab: sarson da saag with makai rotis right from the tandoor. Really liked the tandoori salad, must try.
