I just love Curry Box. LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! Wish there always 10 stars here to give 🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌👌
Love the simplicity & flavour of the meals. Not oily or greasy at all! Must recommended for Indian Food Lovers who are on diet.
I like the Curry Box but they should really work on the chicken Samosas. They were dry and lacked care. Why serve something like that. Overall good place.
Long used this place. Ordered in a Thursday evening, just before it rained. Driver called ahead to confirm it would be a little delayed but timely delivery and piping hot food arrived not too long after. All too often delivery ruins an otherwise good meal however both delivery and food were excellent so pat on the back to Curry Box.
order this restaurant first time... delivery on the time...its good..i ordered daal makhni and naan..the packing was good..and the taste of food is great..
Have been ordering from here for years. Always good food. Always hot. And always not too long to wait. I love the korma curry. Chicken curry with red sauce. Paswari nan is very good.
I loved the food from curry box. Ordered the shrimp biryani which was stuffed with shrimps and was super delicious with the right amount of spice. The raita that comes with it compliments it well and I enjoyed it well! The portion is also generous and can feed you for dinner and maybe two more meals as well :) will be sure to order again!
Opted for a delivery since im lazy to cook on a friday...wanted something spicy and thought about ordering from Curry Box...had buttered chicken and lamb curry....woooow the best curry ever!!! Definitely recommend Curry Box 👍😜👍🌶
What a story!
Some deliveroo guy made a wrong delivery of Curry Box to my apartment. By the time I realized it, delivery guy was gone.
I called the restaurant and they asked me to keep it and enjoy my dinner.
Although I had some homemade food for dinner but I decided to give this “unintentional delivery” a try.
Onion Bhaji Pakora and Chicken Strip Samosas were out of this world. Brilliant taste and seemed very healthy, very fresh and well packed.
Chicken vindaloo was also very good.
They have definitely “unintentionally” won a new customer in Motor City for their fantastic pakore.
Definitely going to order from here again. But only “intentionally” this time. :)
Ordered food for the first time from this place yesterday.
The food came on time.. was perfectly packed 😍
We ordered butter chicken 3.5/5 bhuna prawns 5/5 Daal makhni 3/5 since it had absolutely no salt
The butter naan was okay and so was the rice.
A Good option to order Indian food since there are not many around
First time using Curry Box, Extremely fast delivery, much faster than the suggested time. As other reviews say boxed up impressively, very good portions, hot and tasty. Will definitely be using next time.
One of the best takeout/delivery concept of Dubai, The USP is the way they pack the food, i just loved it :) .. coming to the test .. i had ordered bhuna chicken .. it was just the way i wanted it , over all a good experience ..
well presented and good taste without much chillies......great
always fresh, always yummy, thanks curry box!
and delivered early
Absolutely amazing food. Very tasty, not swimming in oil like most others we've experienced.
Will continue to use these guys for all our future curry cravings
Curry was awesome as it usually is (never had a bad one) but non-veg platter was disappointing.
I have never seen more stability than Curry Box,, I ate more than 20 times, and everytime it has the same delicious taste.. Very friendly and very fast delivery!!! If you want to eat Best Indian Food, then Curry Box is the solution for you!
Special thanks to KAMRUL who was very friendly and MISHOK!
Friendly staff, good service and tasty food.. thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssassss
I have 3 because the food is tasty, however, the portions are very small and not value for money. Ordered two main courses and if not enough they are packed in very small plastic containers, actually one of them was half the portion- disappointed.
one of our favorite delivery options for Indian food. good flavors and timely delivery.
Great Food ! Great Service
Food arrived within the timeframe and was delivered hot. Arrived in a cute box that was packaged neatly and securely. The coconut rice was amazing. Chicken achari -excellent and flavorful. Will definitely order again!
I love Curry box. My go-to place for simple and flavorful Indian food. Makes me happy.
Chicken tikka masala meat was tough but great taste
Cheese Naan is just too tasty!
OMG i felt like my mum had cooked for me today! the Sagwala was just beautiful, the 2 tawa rotis were actual rotis you'd make at home and not thick n doughy... the chick methi was so tasty! i just love the food from here... keep up the great cooking guys
Curry box is meant for takeaway and delivery. Ordered chapati, veg kofta. Came in nice packaging. Good to carry during travel or picnic. They sent mango chutney and pickled onions. One of the few Indian restaurants that provide home type chapatis. Veg kofta was good.
One of the best curries I’ve had. Not oily, as many are, full of spice and flavour..will definitely order from them again.
Ordered the fish biryani!
Really well made ! Enjoyed every bit of it.
Generous amount of serving. Eager to try other dishes made by them.
Good food. It was delivered on time. The non-spicy options were a bit spicy, and a bit too much for the kids to handle. But we still enjoyed it.
Im so happy with the food, delivery way before the time and the most amazing is there presentation... I ordered the lunch meal with butter chicken. The meal really fills you up it’s everything you need, rice, gravy, bread etc...the food is still warm... great.
My first meal in Dubai and will be definitely the last one. Sophisticated fusion between old and new Indian cuisine with lots of veggie options.
The only one downside of ordering from Curry box except for the heavy delivery charge mandatorily imposed on every order irrespective of how big your order is the variance in the food across the branches. This restaurant lacks consistency in the taste of food. The best so far is the one in Business Bay and the worst I have tried is the Mirdiff one. This branch falls somewhere in between. The Channa masala is the best thing ever. Curry box has a diverse menu to suit everyone's tastebuds. I love the tava roti, the cheese naan, the chicken kadai and the mushroom pilaf along with the Paneer wrap. Skip the mutton wrap its extremely ordinary. They should think of reducing their absurdly high minimum price for orders which are barely 5 kilometers away despite them being a predominantly delivery based more than a dine in restaurant. The food is beautiful for those who love Indian food, flavours are bang on. Packaging is great, too!
This is my goto place whenever I need food that won't disappoint. I know their flavor and I am happy with what I get from them. The packaging is good and on most occasions the food is delivered hot. What I don't like is the fact that they charge me extra to give a tiny box of vinegar onions. However, decently satisfied with their food and delivery
Excellent packaging and presentation, fresh food, tasted perfect.
Paneer Tikka: Soft & tender, nice flavour and taste
Stuffed Chicken Tikka Kebab: Nice concept would love to try it for a dime-in
Chicken Balti: Thick gravy worth trying
Dal makhani: Good
Vegetable Biryani: Excellent flavour and taste
Tawa Roti: It was great to find a restaurant serve chapati's.
Thanks Curry Box we loved it! keep it up!
what every you order will be packed in a box.
especially good for take aways
so the best part is packing.. but that's not why we approach a restaurant right???
coming back to the business
taste wise they are average, have only tried their veg dishes as of now and as mentioned it was Average.
if i have to compare the quantity with price cannot see the meter going on the satisfactory range.
cheers !
Bon appetit!!
It was our third time ordering from Curry Box and as usual they didn't disappoint. Their lunch box specials were average. However, they compensate for that with their dinner options. The delivery didn't take too long and their packaging is very neat.
We ordered Naan, Malai Chicken Kebab, Tandoori Chicken Kebab, Aloo Gobi and Butter Chicken. Found the butter chicken to be little too sweet for our taste. However, the rest of the dishes were really good. Would definitely consider ordering from Curry Box again!
One of very few places if you want to have Indian food delivered in Sports city without the minimum threshold for delivery. Do not think of dining in as the seating and ambiance is a let down. The taste is decent but price is somewhat more. But lack of options and need of Indian food compels to order from them :D. Delivery time is usually 30 min but had incidents also close to 1 hour.
Ordered food for delivery from here, pretty fast but, food is okay. I have had better food of the same cuisine from other places and for the same price range.
I have ordered from Curry Box several times, and I have never been let down. I have recently discovered their bunny chow and durban curry, and honestly, that's what has bumped my review up to a 4. Both of these dishes are absolutely incredible and I'm pretty sure they're the best meat curries I've ever had. They're lush, flavoursome and cooked to perfection.
Have ordered twice from them. Delivery can be longer than expected, however good and tasty, packaged well and can be eaten next day and taste just as great. Happy to say they have "bunny chows" and as a South African this was a great surprise as well as good tasting to the pallette. Would recommend if you having more then 4 people over as you order much more then you need. With more people dishes they can be shared and all tastes savoured. Desserts are limited and need more to complete meal
Ordered some takeout for iftar- butter chicken, plain naan and an aloo paratha. Absolutely delicious, so much flavour. the food was still piping hot on delivery, and the food was well priced. A nice take away option, will reorder
This restaurant is my favorite and I always order from here. The delivery package is very convenient too. I was pretty impressed on the package of the box (like a pizza box) and the food was DELICIOUS!
Although, the drop back was that some of the items on the menu were not available like for example the Strawberry Lassi.
The best thing I loved about it was the Punjabi Chicken Curry and the Daal Makhani.
Veg Curry and tawa roti was excellent. I suggest to try this.'...................'.'..............................................................
Bored of the standard places I dine at, I decided to try some place new. So after a day of beach with awesome friends, I decided to go back home and chill with a movie and dinner. I felt like having Indian cuisine and Curry Box pops up on my screen as a suggestion.
The delivery didn't take too long, although I was focused on an intense and horrifying movie: The Bee Movie 😜
The packaging was very organized and neat (but they don't include utensils, didn't want to do the dishes).
The Chicken Samosa came in 6 pcs and weren't that satisfying. They reached kinds soggy and lost its taste.
The experience escalated when I have the Butter Chicken, Steamed Rice and Naan. OMG! The creaminess of the sauce was super delicious, I actually started the hot naan bread into the sauce and ate it as is. Good Job India, you make food yum yum.
The chicken pieces could have been more tender but was fine.
I enjoyed the meal and the lassi will keep me full for the next 24 hours.
Thanks Curry Box, enjoyed the Indian experience.
Curry Box is more of a delivery oriented concept though they do have a very basic sit down option in their Motor City branch which we visited. I often find that this doesn't translate well to sit down meals but in this case I couldn't have been more wrong.
We started off with onion bhaji served with delicious mint chutney, which were crisp, delicious and barely oily, which was a pleasant surprise. These were followed by golden fried prawns, tasty but not unusual I flavour. We then ordered crispy chilli beef, curry roti, bunny chow with Durban curry, and a chowmein for my kids as mains.
The chilli beef was our favourite. Crispy, crunchy, sweet and spicy, and we all loved it. The bunny chow was as delicious as last time and the roti had delicious curry with the unusual addition of chips. Compared to these wonderful dishes, the chowmein was underwhelming. Drinks were good too, the lime and mint was refreshing and the mango lassi was divine.
I have to add that the food arrived without delays and that Ahmed took great care of us. All in all a delicious meal and I'll be certainly ordering from them again.
Bunny chow and rooti is a must try. The service takes a bit long for delivery orders but we'll worth the wait if you are patient enough. The prices seem a bit on the high side though.
Ordered Curry Box for the first time today. We ordered butter chicken (an all time favorite of mine) and lamb madras. The order arrived an hour and half after I've ordered it on the Zomato app - although it says that the restaurant would deliver within an hour at most, needless to say it was pretty cold. We asked for the food to be mild and the Lamb Madras was pretty spicy (not cool!). Other than the fact that it was incredibly spicy, the Lamb Madras was delicious. Butter chicken on the other hand really lacked some flavor and was not up to par with most good Indian cuisine places. On the upside, the food wasn't as greasy as most other places. The place seems pretty clean. Overall, the experience was okay.
Tried their Biryani, it was good but nothing remarkable. Might be a good option if you want something quick for delivery and you live near by.
Give it a try I can't complain for a hungry evening at home service!
You may have seen their ads on the streets of Dubai. I did. And it made me curious. Who had the audacity to redefine Indian food?
So I was visiting a friend at Motorcity last night, and the topic of dinner came up. I used my handy Zomato app and looked for what options we had. When Curry Box popped up, I didn't have to think twice.
We ordered the chicken vindaloo and the chicken Bombay biryani. I'd never had vindaloo before (shame on my Goan friends!)
While eating, the song by Dean Martin...Ain't That A Kick In The Head starting playing in my head. Wow! I mean I can handle my spice..but vindaloo was like chili fireworks all up and down my sinuses. Don't get me wrong, I loved it! But spicyphobes should keep a distance.
The biryani was decent too. And if you've read other reviews of mine, you'll know that I am serious about my biryani.
A word on the packaging. Glad to see they are doing something different. But please do include cutlery. Or at least inform us that you don't provide plastic cutlery.
Will definitely be trying them again..as well as their Oriental Box. They've got my curiosity.
Have ordered quite a few times from here and there food is really nice. It's a very small place but very good food and excellent delivery. Went there for lunch and had the Bunny Chow and it was excellent. Spicy and full of flavour. A must recommend.
Very good food. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was very good. Right amount of spice! :-) Delivery time is a bit slow but would definitely recommend it.
Not really sure why the reviews are not that good. I ordered over 4 times now and every time the food was just amazing. Delivery takes a while granted but that's because they make your food fresh and it shows. My favourite is the Lamb Madras. And now you can order and pay directly from Zomato.
Generally order the lunch combo meals that are not only great when it comes to taste but also a great value for money. Have tried the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken achari and the chicken kadai combos. The best one is probably the chicken tikka masala. Recommended it to people at work who also appreciated it.
Also tried the chicken tikka biryani recently. It was surprisingly good. Spicy and flavorful as it should be and again great in terms of quantity.
PS, the packaging is very cool.
Good Indian food, loved their combos. The paneer butter masala is the BEST!!!! The best way to order is to call them at the restaurant directly instead of ordering online, we were forced to order extra because of the minimum deliver cost which they do not do if you call directly, the restaurant also threw in some additional sweets for us to try they second time we called..... Love the phone manners.
