The food was really up to the standards and the presentation was a first good impression. The ambience is cozy, it looks like a small joint from the outside but once you walk in you will be surprise with the big space and the smart arrangement of the tables. Came on a Friday and it was pretty empty so we got seated pretty quickly. It was my first time so the waiter assisted in telling us what exactly to order. 1. K Pear Cooler - 26 dhs It was pretty tasty, nice drink. 2. Tongdak - Korean Fried Chicken - 60 dhs This was fantastic, got to say, a little expensive. I tried the 8 piece bucket. 4 with the sauce and 4 original. Original was ok, won't try again. The one with the sauce was amazing. Definitely coming back to try just that! 3. Ramen Koko - 49 dhs This was tasty, not great, but a good one to share. 4. Dubbab Curry - 45 dhs Didn't quite like this, just a normal curry. Chicken was a little too dry. 5. Chicken is Lit.! We ordered a half chicken into two flavors which you have an option if you want to have it serve in 2 flavors. Chicken flavors are just ridiculously flavorful that we can’t stop eating. You can tell the freshness of the chicken. It was a fun part of the meal when my sisters tried the Jalapeños and it was extremely spicy. If you love spicy you should have it raw. You will surely love it. Just make sure you have water next to you. Some of the Galbi’s are a bit hard to bite but it won’t affect my five star, the place is cool. We went at night so might be even better at daytime. KPOP Chicken’s name is misleading. This is a fully fledged Korean restaurant not simply somewhere to get fried chicken (as I must admit I have done). Located on ground level of the Indigo Icon Tower in Cluster F, JLT, KPOP’s interior tries, through TV screens more than anything else, to portray an imagery of Korean KPOP culture. It’s certainly a fun place to be…if you’re into KPOP…the music, synchronised boy bands, etc. Let’s get on with the food.

The portions here are HUGE. The half n half boneless chicken easily serves 3-4 people or probably more! <br/><br/>The sweet n spicy flavour is delicious and keeps you going back for more. I was craving for some Korean food but I had enough of samgyupsal so I tried to look for restaurants offering Korean food. I found Kpop chicken and I remember eating there and the portions are big so i decided to order. I had beef bulgogi kimbab and vegi dumpling mandu tigim. It was fresh and the mandu was cooked perfectly (crunchy folds and juicy inside). There’s also cucumber side that i forgot to take a photo of. It was very delicious that even my friend who only eats Arabic food liked it. I hope if I order again the same quality arrives on my doorstep. This is really worth the price!

Average fried chicken with sauce...just not that special

The chicken was smelly, probably it’s off chicken and they deep fried it. Even until I wash my hands, the smell of off chicken still there.

If you're just a regular guy who feels like splurging a bit for a change and you ordered the KPop Half and Half special (105AED) what you get is essentially a lot of fried chicken that tastes very similar to KFC. One half is plain crispy and the other half has been tossed in a gochujang sugar syrup mixture, that is a bit too sweet and not hot enough.<br/><br/>Alongside you get some cucumber radish pickles that were sweet and sour, a side salad that was fantastic with a citrus and whole grain mustard dressing, average quality packet French fries and 3 dipping sauces - recap manis or sweet soy, the same overly sweet gochujang glaze and a QP mayo based sauce that is sweet and sour.<br/><br/>The only thing that wasn't sweet i think was the price.

We ordered 3 main dishes and one fried chicken to share. But until payment they told us whatever we ordered is not on the list. It’s quite disappointing. Please beware of this .

I was, am and will be in love with KPOP Chicken Restaurant. It’s my nth time trying their menu, both through delivery or dining. We had tried and coming back in their Family mart branch. We love the giant fish cakes! The relaxing ambiance of the place with grocery inside which make things easy. We ordered from the hot counter and also bought cup noodles and they have ready hot water. Staff are good also great esp June. Keep it up!<br/>

I wanted to try Korean cuisine for a very long time and this place caught my eye on zomato. I ordered kpop gold crispy chicken bibimbap and was excited to try it. The order was delivered on time with nice packaging. The price is at a higher end but they do provide good portions which is filling. I loved the experience and food was tasty though I would have liked something else than the lettuce which will give it more authentic feel. The fermented soy bean soup was so unique in taste and I loved it!! Everything in the dish made sense, pickles for sourness, sauce was sweet and spicy, fried chicken for crunchiness while the soup at the end was refreshing. If you’re bingeing on Kdramas on Netflix, you’ll surely be craving some korean bbq, korean friedchicken and some ramen. KPOP is the place to go! It’s worth the drive to JLT! Make sure you order a bucket of korean fried chicken and bibimbap! Amazing food! Authentic, laid back and quick!

The ambiance of the resto was quite nice, and the staff are very nice as well. The food is really good, we tried the lunch set with rice, beef bulgogi , japchae and ja jang myeon. The beef bulgogi was perfect and so is the japchae. The ja jang myeon is above ordinary. Though the resto is quite far from the metro but it's worth the walk as it's very hot outside.

i'm craving for chicken. i download zomato app for the first time. while browsing, i saw kpop chicken and check their food list. as mentioned in bestseller, i ordered kpop chicken half and half special (golden crispy and spicy & sweet) and beef bulgogi kimbab. after 25 mins, i got my order. both are delicious and feels like i'm back in korea. the chicken is so crispy and not salty. spicy & sweet sauce blends each other. the kimbab is pack of beef and chewy. since i love korean foods, this will add to my favorites and i'll try their other food as well.. (best with soju)

Very sad experience. Probably the oiliest japchae I ever had. The taste is so bland. Infact this not taste as japchae at all. The chicken is the only tasty in this meal. Should’ve gone where they’re famous for. Lesson learn for me.

In Dubai, Korean restaurants are still difficult to find as there’s not too many (at least to my knowledge). Found a casual Korean restaurant in JLT and it definitely was a hit!<br/><br/>Their location is easy to be found as it is in the middle of JLT (Cluster F). They have enough seating space to accommodate diners, they have a very decent and spacious dining area. The servers are very knowledgeable and accommodating and suggested menu items. We chose LA Gambi (their offer was very inviting) and Korean fried chicken. Thought we’d order more but when our order comes, they have a generous serving. The beef bbq (gambi) was very good! So tasty! It goes very well with the lettuce (should you wish to wrap it) or rice! They have variety of sauces/dip that you may choose from before eating the wrap. Chicken, for me, (soy and spicy) are a bit too sweet. I felt that it lacked savory flavor and it’s just all sweet I was tasting. But it still is good. What I felt lacking were: (1) the complimentary sides where most of the Korean restaurants offer - they usually offer small servings of sides as apparently and as much as I know, serving korean dishes always have this small sides; (2) the actual bbq experience which I understand would take so much paper works (permit) etc. <br/><br/>Generally, it is very good! We hope we could try more of the items sometime soon! We enjoyed it! Love it!!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in JLT! I love all the food that we ordered especially the fried chicken, they will give 3 different sauces for the chicken and all are good! The topoki is really good, spicy and sweet and chewy. I realllllly love the jampong, it has a generous amount of vegetables and seafood, the broth is really tasty you can taste the whole bunch of seafood on it, mussels, squid and shrimp, really good! And their appetizer is so good and refreshing, picked cucumber and radish! &hearts;️<br/><br/>After devouring the spicy dishes, they have a complimentary dessert which the sweet mung beans with shaved ice and milk! So good too!<br/><br/>Plus every dishes are all big quantity and their staff all nice. <br/><br/>Definitely will go back to try other dishes! 👍🏻&hearts;️

We ordered the beef bulgogi dubbab and the chefs chicken platter that comes with 5 pieces each of original, sweet soy and sweet chili boneless chicken.<br/>The dishes came with pickles, soy bean soup and a side salad which was all really delicious.<br/>In fact, both the dishes were very tasty! The beef bulgogi sauce mind blowing and the beef itself was very impressive.<br/>The chicken was delicious, served with 3 dipping sauces - bulgogi sauce, chilli sauce and honey mustard. All of which were good but not even a necessity because the marinades and sauces the chicken was dipped and tossed in did a good enough job flavor profile wise.<br/>The presentation of all dishes were top notch; honestly better than its presentation on the menu.<br/>I've been meaning to check this place out since it opened and am not disappointed!<br/>Can't wait to try other items off the menu!

This was some of the best fried chicken and fried rice I have had in Dubai. Try the sweet and spicy boneless chicken and beef fried rice. Portions were huge and waiters were very friendly and smart. Will definitely keep coming back

KPOP is hidden away a little on the upper ring of JLT. However i'd encourage you to seek it out because their food is loaded with flavor and packed with delicious Asian spices!  My friend enjoyed the japchae offering and I had to be rolled home the amount of tong dak I ate :D <br/><br/>There are some western dishes on offer as well, however they have Korean cuisine nailed as far as this Caucasian is concerned (ok ok that doesn't count for much!) However the ambiance of the place is just as inviting as their food is, it's spacious, high ceiling and the staff were attentive! <br/><br/>Enjoy :D

Having lived in Korea my favorite street food was BBQ Chicken with sweet spicy sauce (Shoot Bul BBQ) and when I cam across KPOP I decided to give it a go. It was amazing. The barbecued chicken was tender with lots of sauce and had that distinctive taste which I relished from the Korean Street foods.. just took me back in time. It’s my go to food every weekend and every time the dish lives up to its reputation and expectation.<br/><br/>Adding some rice cakes with the chicken will truly make it authetic. <br/><br/>Dear management of the restaurant if you are reading this please see if you can add some rice cakes in the Shoot Bul BBQ Chicken.. that would just be the icing on the cake <br/><br/>

The best korean in Dubai. We can eat there everyday. Lots of delicious choices including but not limited to - Duk Bukki , Seafood Creamy Udon, Japchae Bulgogi Dubbab, etc etc. And of course u gotta try their Korean Fried Chicken! Simply yummy! One of the servers there is Jannel. He is one of the best serving staff we have met in Dubai. Always cheerful, diligent and conscientious. He’s part of the reason why we enjoy Kpop as much as we do.

Ordered for take away. Tried their original kpop boneless fried chicken with sweet soy sauce + beef bulgogi bibimbap. The chicken was dry, the sweet soy sauce was super average (tasted instant honestly), and the beef bulgogi portion in the bibimbap was tiny! Unlikely I will dine here again...disappointment.

Disappointed a bit but was an okay experience.

Probably one of the best tasting chicken I've ever tasted! Food is pricey but good for sharing. Ambiance is not too crowded, waiting time is a bit long because they cook fresh. Nonetheless, good dining experience.

Went to this restaurant because a friend recommended it and I’ve started enjoying Korean food. A spacious place located in JLT with very simple interiors. <br/><br/>To start with we went in for a K-YuJa Cooler (AED 24). YuJa is a citrus fruit, sort of like an orange but tastier. It’s got a nice fancy flavor and is very refreshing as well. <br/><br/>For the Veg bit we went in for the Veggie Ramen (AED 36). Their portion size was huge and can definitely be shared. The Ramen soup was pretty spicy too, which I liked. But I’ve had better Ramen before so this was alright. <br/><br/>We then ordered for a half and half special boneless (AED 125). One half was soy and the other spicy. We didn’t expect their portion sizes to be huge, but they were. The chicken could easily be shared by 4 people. It came with a tiny bowl of fries and some ketchup. Taste wise both of them were delicious. I loved the spicy more, but I needed the soy in between the spicy. <br/><br/>What I love about Far East Asian restaurants are the pickled vegetables that come along. In this case it was cucumber and radish. Absolutely loved it! <br/><br/>We were 3 of us and too full to try dessert. Been ordering from this place for a few years now. Was recommended to us by our Korean friends. South Korea is famous for is fried chicken and Kpop doesn’t disappoint! We like the boneless box with sweet soy, it’s a big portion and feeds around 4 people. Never had a bad experience from them

The place is clean we were just after the lunch cut off time of 3 pm therefore missed the lunch set. We were told that the lunch set is available until 3 pm which is kinda pocket friendly. We ordered Chicken Ramen and gold crispy chicken Bibimbab. It was my first time to taste korean food especially the ramen and bibimbab. Both were tasty and enjoyed them thoroughly. The soup in ramen can be little more but rest everything picture perfect. Staff is friendly and played the songs we wanted.😊. Nice place.

I love their chicken (obviously). They serve the best Korean chicken in town! I'm not a fan of their other stuff though. The staff are polite and the serving time is good enough :) The place looks clean and tidy.

Ordered the Kpop half and half special which is Korean fried chicken with some fries and a small salad, really tasty chicken, not too oily and perfectly crunchy especially the sweet and spicy sauce on the chicken was really tasty, also ordered the crispy salad with gold crispy chicken and it was good, I just wish the order came with some rice or their was an option on the menu to order a small portion of some rice or maybe a small portion of kimchi rice. But otherwise very good Korean fried chicken.

The foods were great!!! Just had dinner last night with friends and we're all amazed; from excellent food, the view from the outside, and the staff (Jonelle) that made it perfectly, awesome!! Will surely back and recommend to other friends.

Dine with my group last night to celebrate two of my friends bday. We ordered Japchae, Creamy Seafood Woodong & the famos Kpop Chicken.<br/> Masisseoyo! The food was excellent, big servings yet affordable prices. We sat outside to enjoy the lake view with our delicious food. In addition to the nice meal we had a delightful servers especially Jonell who gave us a complimentary Bing Su for our two bday celebrants. Kamsahamnida Jonell. Will be back definitely!

The best fried chicken I have ever tasted in my whole life. One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Dubai. Great tasting food from their sweet tasting pickled radish to their hot noodle ramen to jap chae, and most especially to their bucket of famous fried chickens. Will certainly come back anytime soon.

As a kpop lover I always crave for Korean foods and luckily found one in the neighborhood. The food is great and staffs are nice. It was an awesome experience! Will be back for sure :)

So we ordered the veggie kimbab and half Orginal and half sweet and sour chicken . To start with the kimbab it was purely disgusting and had zero taste . We didn’t even finish it and left it. The Orginal chicken was dry and had no taste and the sweet and sour we were told it was spicy since we were looking for spicy but rather too sweet. The waiters looked like they were done with life that even ordering was supper difficult even though we were the ONLY CUSTOMERS. Overall wouldn’t recommend

Got to KPop in JLT. Found good parking and walked in, welcomed properly by the host. Sat down and ordered a strawberry mojito to drink, which tasted amazing by the way (just make sure you tell them to remove the mint). Ordered the kimbab crispy shrimp which is the closest thing you can get to a California roll, it tasted different in comparison but it was really good. Then ordered the half and half kpop chicken which comes with a special kpop sweet sauce (sriracha and something else). So the normal fried chicken in that tasted really good but the chicken in sauce was amazing. Came with fries and some veggies (which were left untouched 😂). Nice little cafe setting with authentic Korean food. Loved it all the way. PS they have WiFi.

FOOD was amazing. STAFFS are very accomodating and nice. The PLACE is clean and bright. K-POP songs are the background music while we're enjoying our food. 👌👌👌

Ordered delivery through Zomato. Food was on time and still hot. I ordered the Kpop Original Fried Chicken with Steamed Rice, Crispy Shrimp Tigim, and received the KPOP Lady Cup Bing Su Special as a Zomato treat. I was pleasantly surprised at the volume of food received. On reviewing the price I thought that the meal would be small so I ordered an appetizer. There was no need, as the Kpop Original Fried chicken came with 9 boneless pieces, all perfectly fried with golden crusts. This meal also came with a side salad and pickled cucumbers, (ordered Rice as my side) more than enough for two complete meals. 3 choices of dipping sauces added to the variety of the meal. The crispy shrimp tigim came with 8 medium sized shrimp and a side salad. I am surprised that this restaurant is not more highly rated, as there is a high quality of food, and well as large portions. Will definitely try more options on the menu here.

It was a plesant experience. As a group it was our first time trying kurian food and we loved it. We r defintly going to go back there and enjoy new dishes for us to try. I say if you want to try something new ans want something good head out to this place.

This was the first Korean restaurant I’ve been to and it was fantastic!!! <br/>Complimentary Starters:<br/>Most flavorful miso soup I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had a lot). The complimentary sweet pickled cucumbers and white radishes were so refreshing.<br/>Starter:<br/>1) kimchi kimbab (veggie sushi topped with white kimchi and spicy mayo sauce) - tasty and unique with a mild flavor.<br/>Main dish:<br/>1) veggie bibimbab with a sweet and spicy sauce - amazing flavor, also served with a Korean citrus soy sauce, and sesame paste (which I just ate with a spoon because it was so good).<br/>2) seafood ramen with lots of very nicely cooked and NOT chewy calamari and shrimp and one mussel - very tasty and filling (added the Korean citrus soy sauce to the broth and made the flavor even better). <br/>Drinks:<br/>1) mesil pop drink was good<br/>2) apple mojito was very unique tasting and a great end to the meal! <br/>Will be returning very soon!!!

In JLT, there happens to be 2, Hyu and now, KPOP Chicken. Korean food isn’t exactly friendly to the wallet so you best enjoy it when you get a chance to.

Chicken had some kind of old oil smell and bad taste couldn’t eat at all. I used to like chickens from Kpop chicken I am so disappointed this is second time having the same experience.

The best Korean style freind chicken in dubai... full of flavour, i would recommend visiting the place and eating there, dont order fried food for delivery it just gets soggy by the time it gets to you.. as such wont give it justice!

Unexpectedly and unlike the impression we get from its name, such here they serve real high quality Korean food. Though it has the taste of fast food but they still serve a lot more other dishes even if you do not feel like eating crunchy fried chickens. Undoubtedly fried chicken was must try here.

Food was well presented, on time and delicious! I love bibimbab and I’m happy with this version. Would have been great to have had more sauce to mix in the beef bibimbab because the portion is actually big plus the sauce is also really good. Is there an option to add an egg? I didn’t see one so I just made one at home. The newspaper was a nice touch although I cannot read Korean. Will definitely order again.

Kpop fried chicken has now become my comfort food! After a long week at work I always find myself craving for their chicken. Crispy outside, moist inside. The order comes with side dishes,too! Portion is quite big also!

Food was stone cold when it arrived.

For starters, I had the spring rolls which was ok. I had the original duk bok ki for mains which was very spicy and lacked flavour., though the portions were generous. The red bean bing su for dessert and the kimchi salad were life savers.

Japchae is tasteless, so sweet,<br/>Chicken is tough, my teeth are almost broken because chewing this chicken

One of my fav places to get fried chicken. The beef is great as well. Servers are polite and respectful especially sonal. This place needs more branches.
