Please try a new thing seekh Kabab karahi.
I personally recommend this place. Food has amaging taste
Food taste is good and specially would recommend dal kadai and seek kebab. Reasonably priced and affordable for all.but the place need to be more cleaner and maintained.
Excellent mutton karahis. We as friends always have a get together here and they are never disappointing. The ambience is like any normal pakistani joint but what makes them stand out is there finger lickin good food
I FULLY recommend it all FOREIGNERS and expats.super tasty food, quick service even the manager would come to you to take order if staff is busy.value for 💰 money is 5 stars too
Best mutton karahi in UAE
One of my favorite place... Guys serving the food are too good guys... Their Paneer dishes, Peshawari kadai and mix grill are run away winners.. the owner of this place is a gem of a person... Generous and kind. Can go here everyday for food without a doubt.
One of the best Pakistani food place in Dubai. Well priced, extremely tasty! Good veg options - mains are served in a hot karhai - food is really tasty! The servers are polite and swift at their job.
I tried chicken afghani with rumali roti. it was good taste. it was light for 2 people. i will go next to try other recipes. the kheer was also different that other pakistani restaturants around meena bazaar.
Located in meena bazaar, this a place where you have spicy yummy food. The staff is suggestive .
We ordered mutton gravy which was super good and tasty. The mutton paya was good. The naan is big enough to fill tummy. Also ordered veg food which was dal and bhindi fry.
Overall the ambience is fine but food served is good.
A trip to Dubai wouldn’t be complete without Pakistani food so headed to this gem with friends. Pakistani food - yum, mutton peshawari - yumm, mutton rogan josh and qorma- yummm, mutton seekh - yummmmm. I had heard their rabri is pretty killer but they didn’t have any unfortunately. So we tried the Kulfi and kheer - not impressive, have had better. But the mutton dishes are to die for!!!
My fav place to dine in meena bazar area ...biryani and chicken kadai Peshawari is their signature dishes..otherwise Almost everything is good
Very good restaurant in terms of food taste, quality, quantity, prices, customer satisfaction etc, especially the owners are down to earth and speaks very respectfully with the customers, regarding dishes my favorite dish which i tried is mutton peshawari, mutton kebabs, chicken tikkas etc, however i am sure all the food taste will be very good which i have still not tried,
If u r in for a spicy treat pls order the SEEKH KABAB PESHAWARI ALSO THE NORMAL MUTTON & CHICKEN PESHAWARI. UNTILL TODAY 1 OF THE MOST VALUE FOR MONEY JOINTS GUYS. OWNERS STILL AT THE JOINTS FOR AM TILL LATE PM 😎
A busy little restaurant in Meena Bazaar, Sheher E Karachi had been supporting my tummy for almost a year when I stayed right there in the opposite bulding.
FOOD -
Firstly the food is very very reasonable and has a good serving.
Absolutely love the Chicken Grilled leg piece and Mutton Seekh Kababs over here.
The Biryani is also very tasty with a great quantity.
The Chicken Kadai was amazing and had a very amazing gravy.
However the other gravies can get very Oily.
Ambience is Average - They have a ground plus one seating but it's mostly crowded and the washroom area is messy.
Quality and Quantity - The Quantity is very good. Although the quality is basic, the food is really tasty.
Service - Delivery and dine in both are quick.
A random find, little desi gem in meena bazar. Taste is very Karachi style. Pricing is super economical. When I fancy a Karachi style meal, I
usually end up here.!
Har bhuke ka adaa shehar e karachi ek baar kahoo leikin bhar pur kahaoo good food best taste and at very cheap price you can't believe almost 8 a.e.d per head with full quantity and tasty food just amazing really that's true.
Traditional Pakistani Meal at this Quaint Restaurant of the same origin at Meena Bazaar, #Dubai
Peshawari Mutton Kadai 😍, Round Rotis on the house, Bigger than your Fat Face!!
Their kadhai prep is mind boggling, I had it both in chicken and Mutton.. Ordering chicken afghani was a wrong decision though!
Left me craving for more, surely! I like how Rotis are something you just need to ask for here.. Not order.. They prefer serving Rotis on the house.. All you need to pay for is the main course!
Had a very, VERY delicious Phirni after this as well... Best!! I've Ever!! Had!! What texture! Omg!
I'd definitely call this a highlight of my trip to Dubai!
About the Phirni again: I liked it so much that before my flight to Mumbai, I took a detour from the airport just so I took get some more of it.. I reached at 645 pm.. And they wouldn't open before 7.. The staff was right there.. The fridge hoarding the Phirni was right there.. They weren't even moving a muscle inside not doing anything at all, YET!! they chose to not open before 7..sadly I couldn't risk losing my flight, not for such rude behaviour definitely..
This was really rude service.. A complete contrast from the service we got a day earlier during lunch!
This is my all time go to place! My husband & I love the food here, its friendly on the pocket with amazing and tasty flavours!
Very famous for non vegetarian taste however they do an absolutely brilliant work for vegetarians as well..
Highly recommend .!!
Butter chicken
Juicy kebabs
Chicken biryani
Chili chicken
Aloo Gobi
the list is endless..Must try!
Located in the heart of bur dubai this restaurant serves really great food and I use to eat here in Ramadan as they use to serve firni which is hard to find in restaurants in Dubai. This was of the meal which i had in Shehar-e-Karachi, fresh mutton karahi and complementary tandoori roti with tasty fresh salad and also paneer masala. Very tasty food and Paya is amazing here. Try if you love food.
This place has amazing Pakistani food try the Haleem kebabs chicken Kadai have been visiting this place since the 90s u will never be disappointed I would rate it one of the best in its class
The food is just good.Fresh and tasty.Rotis are warm and crispy.Kebabs moist.Dal and paneer are also tasty.Simply lived the food.Would recommend all to come and taste.A complete value for money deal.
Shehar e Karachi has the best chicken biryani I have ever had the opportunity to taste. The rice is moist and the chicken is juicy and tender.
Amazing food preparation as is almost everywhere in Karama and bur Dubai. The place is difficult to find in car but easy on feet. Not great ambience. Simple seating arrangements with family seating upstairs.
We ordered chicken tikka and chicken Peshawari with roti. The chicken tikka was so juicy and tender and the Peshawari had the correct ingredients.
Only drawback was that they charged for salad. I mean no restaurant does that. Do not take salad if u don't want that.
Otherwise it's a good place to eat.
Small and pocket friendly restaurant.. their gravys are very good... not a clean place.. too much insects.. roti is not freshly made.. .......,,
My friend from Karachi had recommended this restaurant which is quite a typical Pakistani restaurant with its characteristic tasty food and okay type ambiance and not the cleanest. But what bowls you over is the excellent food. We had Mutton Peshswary and Haleem, both excellent. The Peshswary was tender and perfectly cooked with the spices and flavours pouring out with the bites. The mutton pieces were the best choices from appropriate portions with the right combination of bones and fats. The Haleem was thick and very wholesome, the adrak kicking in the flavour and the fatty meat very juicy and flavour full..... Had the special Rabri and tea, both above average. Overall, a good place for the food and ok with service and ambiance.
On our last visit to dubai we had visited this place it local sheet food restaurant ambience is nothing to talk about only thing we like here is food if you like authentic Pakistani food this place to be we had order Peshawari chicken, aloo chicken, halim and chicken biryani food is really awesome food is little oil but is suppose to be that way only if is authentic if your having authentic awadhi, mughali Pakistani food your dont have care about oil and all food is alway rich. Rates are cheap quantity is good.
I love their mutton peshawari ❤ Pocket friendly...no parking and needs to be more hygienic 👍🏼
Zubair is the beauty of this place 👍🏼👍🏼.
The best Non-Veg food I've ever had in Dubai!
The Best Chicken Peshawari and the best melt in mouth Seekh Kebabs! And not to forget the Biryani! Humbly priced!
The staff is really friendly! Service is quick! It has family seating on the first floor and the place is clean!
We specially go all the way from Al Barsha all the way to Meena Bazaar specially to hog the authentic Mughlai Cuisine! It's so yummy!!
Always enjoy the food here... however, service needs improvement as only one guy in family area, which makes it a little slow but quite friendly..
New feedback as of 22 June 2017
Found a big Mouse in family area running... 😟
I still prefer this over kdr...pkng cn b a pain...but their food is yummmmmmm...desi menu n pocket friendly...staff are also cooperative...serving tym is also good...love them after the tiring shoppin hours...my childhood memories
This place wont give you ambience but they provide delicious food. I have tried everything in their menu and I loved their butter chicken. Nothing beats that in their menu. They offer a very extensive menu and you can almost order anything and wont find tasteless. Their service is prompt and pocket friendly.
You cannot expect a great ambience at such places but when it comes to the food you will definetly gonna love it . I have been regular to this place since my childhood days and my all time favorite at this place has been mutton korma and chicken kadai . It was served to me super quick within 7-8 mins along with fresh tandoori roti . Staff people are below average , Shehar-e-Karachi truly serve one of the best Pakistani cuisine in Dubai .
Grew up eating at this humble Pakistani restaurant, which is a grand experience when it comes to rich, hearty food without any fuss.
They do some of the best Aloo Parathas for breakfast that I have had and their grills and curries are hands down some of the best in town, of course, be prepared that you are eating street style Pakistani food, hence oil and spices will be in abundance.
They offer an extensive menu, with many vegetarian options as well, however I was never a big fan of their veg variety as their meat dishes were always much more tasty.
The staff and service at this place are always heartfelt. Humble and polite staff that put their best effort to ensure you are fed well and leave happy. The place is still one of the most reasonable in town for the quantity they offer.
A must try if you dig Pakistani food and want an experience that’s all about food and nothing else ☺.
A very small place hidden deep in Meena bazaar which serves the best mutton karahi in Dubai. Have tried both its branches in Dubai and both have the same great taste. Flavorful soft mutton which melts in your mouth with equal amount of spices. Highly recommended for the authentic karahi. Have also tried there daal fry, which is another of their speciality, and Nihari. Love this place. It's on top of my list for karahi. My rating is solely based on the quality and taste of the food.
Malai kofta yummmy my daily dinner only here..Ajeej bhai 1 branch India mai bho khol dena hai..DiL khoL k khayenge India WalE...spacious,comfortable,Fast Service..User friendly atmoshpere..
Sheher Karachi , in meena bazar, so you are lucky if you find parking first :)
One of hte best Karhai i have eaten here. We also had the tikka which was good aw as well. Simple atmosphere and delicious food. Dont go here expecting highend interiors. The price is reasonable and service quick.
Have to be one of the most authentic karahi in Dubai. Had the mutton karahi and you could tell by the quality of meat used that this was gonna be good. Prompt service and really good value for the buck as compared to the more fancier Pakistani grubs around town.
In term of taste this restaurant can easily compete with Ravi chain of restaurants, Karahis, Biriyanis, Breads all r great, just food is a little in greasy side & portions r a bit lesser. Another disadvantage is that Ravi branches are open till early morning but this only till midnight. Anyway it's a good choice for Pakistani food lovers.
Low on your pocket and high on taste.
I come here frequently since my office is nearby.
All the dishes are really good here.
I used to like having mutton peshawari but nowadays there is barely any gravy it.
My favourites are chicken tikka masala, shaahi/makhan paneer and daal dishes.

Chicken Peshawari Karahi @ Sheher-e-Karachi, Meena Bazaar - Once a regular feature on my foodie exploits, Sheher-e-Karachi had taken a backseat for the last few months as I had restricted my carb and curry intake. After a very long time when my heart wanted a spicy, hot and thick meat curry I couldn't think of any other place. In a way its a trek to Meena Bazaar, but for this consistent curry decorated with crunchy green chillies and freshly ground pepper, I am willing to do the trek multiple times. This small little Pakistani dhaba never disappoints !! The frequent visits in 2014 and 2015 ensures that the waiters recognise you which means you end up getting Royal service ie. Freshly made raita and a chunkier bowl of salad. We just restricted ourselves to the karahi and seekh kebab with crisp tandoori rotis and like always the meal #hitthespot. While all health protocols were being broken, we topped up the meal with a bowl of cold frozen rabri.😉 Couldn't have asked for anything else today - God has been very kind !!

Awesome food here i came everyday here haleem , gosht peshawari kadai & briyani was too good & it is in the budget & best quality in sweets i love labdi 👌
Three days in a row here .. Have tried three different dishes all of them were super yummy ..Most delicious thing is the Roti/bread which is soft and tasty.
I never had roti from any pak restaurants earlier but from here .. 👍👍
Hygiene is something which they need to look.
DilliWala Veggie: This is an excellent place to cost effective and nice food. I have tried Tadka Dal Kadhai (I think that's the name - yellow dal served in a 'Kadhai'), Paneer Masala, etc.. Food is served in a quick time and costs approx AED 12-15 pax with a soft drink - which is a good deal in Meena Bazar area. A regular joint for India-Pak folks around the area.
Cheap and Tasty food for Indians and Pakistani as food is quite spicy and oily - came here 15 years before only difference I could find is the location - before it can be seen easily from main road now u need to find it - try Mutton Karahi and chicken both turn out to be great in taste ! As normally u won't find nice Karahi any where in UAE
Tried this restaurant half a dozen times but have only ordered Mutton Karhai.
The karhai is too good and highly recommended, the Naans are bit disappointing, but i usually pick up the Karhai from here and Naan from some other place - if you can live with that then its great experience.
As restaurant next to my home I have food from here quite often and love all their Pakistani dishes. I recommend the chicken tikka and the chicken biriyani both are delicious. Overall this restaurant May not have the Best ambiance but the food here is really good.
Do yourself a favour and come for the mutton or chicken peshawari which comes sizzling and hot in these kadais. We come at least once a year with a group during Ramadan and really stuff ourselves and it's a tradition that we really look forward to. I personally find the mutton chops really spicy but you can ask them to tone it down if you'd like. Also my friends love the rabadi that's apparently flown down specially from Karachi.
Walked Inn... Ordered food... Enjoyed... And now leaving... Nice chicken Kadai and Plain rice.. And also had the tandoori butter roti... Just too yummy.
I know it's not as popular as Ravi or Karachi Darbar but it's a competition to them. Being from India, I always wanted to try authentic Pakistani food. This place was where I was destined to go. Tried couple of things, all tasted good. I would like to make a special mention about Dal Kadhai or Dal Tadka for Vegetarians who wants to try this place. I have tried all types of special Daal accross India, but Man o Man, this Daal drives me crazy. It's totally special daal which is so flavorful in taste. The quatity of spices are well balanced and leaves you craving for it again and again. It is served in Kadai which is placed in front of you. The Rotis here are Huge; I wish I could get such Tandoori Rotis in India. The place is very
cheap and doesn't compromise in quality.
Love from India.
This is a Pakistani restaurant in the busy Meena bazaar where people from all walks of life eat. It's not as popular as the Ravi's or Karachi darbars and so you get quality food and super reasonable prices. They have family seating upstairs but i sat down and ate in the midst of all as I don't like any demarcation. I ordered a chicken korma and butter naan with a thumbs up to drink. The boy severed me something totally different though. He served me a roti, some mutton dish, salad and raita. Despite getting my entire order wrong, I still ate it and the food was delicious. Way better than what I've eaten at Raavi or an other Pakistani restaurant. Their food has a lot of flavour and the mutton was sooooooo tender! This will.now.be my go to.place for paki food. The menu has plenty of vegetarian options too and chinese dishes too. But I'd suggest stay true to their speciality. My bill was Only 18aed! Do give this place a shot and go in.a group to.enjoy the.bonhomie this food brings
Nice restaurant! I always come here for rotis. Nice chicken tikka too! Good service but take a lot of time. Very noisy and hustle - bustle but good ambience.
As this Pakistani restaurant is in my backyard, I tend to eat here quite often in Lunch and evening or dinner. It can be described as a line-restaurant, where people from all walks of life eat for convenience, for a quick grab. A large hall with family option upstairs and a big kitchen in the back with a cubicle for two washbasins and lots of hustle bustle going around all the time. People are always calling somebody, some thing crashing, wonderful aroma of hot food and busy waiters rushing with a towel on their shoulder.
Still this place is pretty clean and the tariff is very budget friendly. Big windows overlook the not so busy lane outside. Food is served in a flash and always hot and fresh.
Most of the dishes are very tasty and somewhat more spicy, a bit different for the Indian taste-buds.
I suggest the Biriyanis, pulaos, of course the peshawari kaRai, Special chap tikkas. They have a large menu with even chinese options but I have stayed true to the mughlai dishes only. The Nehari and chap fry are also very good, specially the beef nehari is exceptional.
A low profile place with high food value in a budget friendly way. The peshawari kaRai of either chicken or mutton is specially lovely here.
Arguably the best chicken and mutton karahi in Dubai.. Nan is always fresh and service is pretty decent.. Would advice that you place order over the phone before you reach to avoid hour long wait..
Excellent food!! Peshawari mutton karaai and seekh kebabs are awesome, Brain curry is also wonderful. One of the oldest Pakistani restaurant at Bur Dubai meena bazar. The ambiance is like Kareem at Jama masjid.
One of the older and better Pakistani restaurants in the area. Places like these don't bother much with their decor, as it has mostly remained the same since the beginning of time. They do good mutton and chicken biriyanis, chicken tikka and seekh kebab. The food is cheap served in a basic setting. They also have a branch in Al Quoz by the same name.
Been here many times and one of the best Peshawari Karahi in town, try with special raita.....
