5💖 for the food.. the best lambchops everrr!!
Service is a joke. .dont wanna coment on it.
So best advice if u dont care for service pick the place nd eat there..
take away makes the lambchops loose its charm.
Food is tasty , One of my favourite place to eat egyptian grill and same like every visit food was very good
but staff need to be more frindley.
Great food, delivered very quickly, hot and very tasty. The grills in particular are mouth-watering, especially the lamb chops and the kebab. Thank you very much.
Been here quite few times but I think the home delivery is faster, based on my experience. I love their lamb chops, their meat meal is also nice and the molokhia soup is what I always request from them.
Amazing mouthwatering grills and kosheri. No matter how many times we eat here, the taste is consistently great! The food actually deserves 5* and the only reason I havnt given so I because of the 'I wudnt give a damn" attitude of the waiting staff and service. Seriously dissapointing how they can't be bothered to be courteous and pleasant.
It is a 3 stars regarding the place setting
4 for service and friendliness
4.5 star regarding the food deliciousness
The food is really tasty we ordered Mixed grill (1/2 kilo ) and a rabbit meal which is Egyptian dish, meals in the restaurant comes with rice, soup and vegetables ( your choice .. mine was Molokhia which was so tasty )
The price range is reasonable we paid 130 dh for both of us
Will come again, I liked the food taste
Taste of the food excellent. Can't judge the place and the dine in level of service as I depend on home delivery. Delivery service takes relatively long time.
This is a really famous place apparently and my friend had praised it a lot.
The Kataf meal rice. That's the thing he went gaga over.
It's a whole lamb limb for 130 bucks. Enough for 3-4 people.
The lamb was extremely soft and extremely delicious.
Cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of spices to it.
It is served with rice, your choice of vegetable, soup, and salad. All of this is also is quite filling. For the vegetables we ordered the ladies finger and chick peas.
After that we had a sulaimani tea which was okay.
The quantity of the meal was so much that we couldn't finish it amongst 3 of us and asked them to parcel the rest.
The waiter replied something in Arabic and refused to parcel it and had a very bad attitude.
Banged the bowls and dishes too. Extremely shocking behaviour.
Another waiter later apologised for his behaviour but the damage was already done. Would have given this a 5 star otherwise.
Try their koshari. Love it. Kebab sandwiches fit for a king. Difficult to find the place but Google maps should sort you out. Very traditional Egyptian cuisine.
With my Egyptian friends and with their recommendation , went to this restaurant and BOY it was awesome.lamb grilled at its best. Chops..kebabs .. All was so delicious and juicy. Vast area , very comfortale and good service as well. Easily goes with 4.5 and recommends highly👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
If you're looking for the Egyptian grills, they're the best I tried in Dubai till now , tried them several times and they were always the best in grills, Rokak is tasty too and made by Egyptian materials and not as what I tried in couple of Egyptian restaurants here
Other than that , mombar wasn't nice , also mahshi was fair and Hamam was not that attractive
All my orders were delivery , they take much time to arrive to you

we ordered 1k of mixed grilled ... no it was good actually and worth ... plus the delivery is almost in time , moreover, the side dishes was also nice.
Farahat is a typical Egyptian restaurant,
Same as the culture of starting any idea very good but never paying attention to the details,
If you are taking the taste variation authenticity and quality of the food you will Rank it to the top,
But with the chaotic service and degraded washrooms definitely it will slip down several steps,
However,
Despite the drop backs I was driven back several times by the memory of the taste in my mouth.
Try the mix grill and lamb meals.
Go to this restaurant once and the service is bad.
Go to this restaurant twice and the service is bearable.
....
Go to this restaurant the sixth time and hopefully the waiter who speaks a little of English recognizes you.
Went there with my parents, the place recommended by the father (he has been here quite a few times). Would definitely recommend brushing up on the 'Ordering food in Arabic for Dummies'. This place is as Egyptian as it can get.
The best thing about this restaurant is the concept. You enter, sit down, the waiter comes over and you say 1 or 2 or 3 (if you're dreadfully hungry). They're the kilos of meat.
There were three of us so we had lentil soup, a portion of kosheri and 500 grams of lamb in chops, kofte and kebab. The chicken isn't that great.
The soup was amazing. It's bound to be, cooked in lamb stock. The kosheri was good (not a big fan of Kosheri).
The main attraction (the meat) was really good. Not a big fan of the lamb kebab, but the lamb chops and the kofte delivered! Amazingly succulent, they are a treat to eat.
Dip them in a bit of tahini, tear some Egyptian bread with some baba ganoush, and before you know it, the stomach is full.
Great food. Amazing value for money. Service is negligible but who cares when there's meat involved.
P.S. For those of you who believe (after watching Ben-Hur) that burping after your meals is a sign of respect and content, it is not, sadly.
Food is very delicious, the best Egyptian restaurant in Dubai, prices are very reasonable if you compare with other restaurants in dubai , I been there many times (+7) , if you need home made food you can find it here .
I have been here like three times. A huge place. But never seen more than 5-6 tables occupied. Surprised actually, because the grills is are just awesome. I ordered lamb chops every time i visited. I'm Still a fan of it, irresistible. It's so soft and juicy that u lose count of how many you have had. And the other best thing is hummus with meat. The meat is soft it just feels like it melts in your mouth. A little disappointing was the serving of bread. It was quite slow. Only when we requested for more bread we were served. But still will go back for those lamb chops.
I order food from there on a weekly basis. Must try the "meals" really good value for money. The "mooza" is especially gratifying with how succulent it is. I give the "molokhya" a 9/10 the "mombar" a 7/10. Service at the restaurant is good too.
I have eaten from here ....chicken grill....kebabs and mutton chops are very good...good Egyptian food
Well i had parcel from the place, i do not know the taste of others, but this thing that i had was of mutton, i think its mutton kebab, well, this kebab was covered by fat, i think they took another plate of fat and wrapped it. Whatever, it tasted too good. I burped and said "alas i have some good food"( other than ma mom's). Also i had mutton chops/chaps whatever you call it. This is a place to eat from, i guess so, i never been to this place other than the parcel. Eat mutton kebab n chops/chaps for sure. Also the mutton doesn't smell lambish as it does in almost all the restaurants.
Farahat Al Asly is the best Egyptian food you will ever eat. I have tried many and this one is really special . I want to go there again but it's in Dubai. the staff when I couldn't find a place they made a table for me and others who were from of the one of the emirates governing family I was surprised when they told me. Not kidding . it a must have they deserve it.
