(التعليق الأصلي) Wasn’t really impressed with the food nor quantity, was having a higher expectation for this place and got disappointed. The hummus was ok thought the portion compared to the price is really high, the vine leaves were ok, the batata harra (spicy) potato most of them were raw and not cooked well, the chicken skewers were ok and nothing special about the taste. I was big time shocked as I’m a big fan of Lebanese food and this place is not delicious. Won’t be ordering from here again. I rated the place with 2 stars but one the reply of the owner is even more shocking than the food I'm giving them a 1 now. This is not even an OK customer service. I'm sure this place will shut down with this service and quality.

Ordered Nasi goreng and it was the most substandard nasi goreng I’ve ever had. Felt like Spicy egg fried rice with lots of onions. Not recommended at all. Don’t know about other dishes at this restaurant.

I had ordered a Tom Yum Goong and Mango Sticky Rice ... The tom yum Goong had cucumbers, or something like cucumbers in it, and the prawns were small and handful, and missed the thai flavours completely. The mango sticky rice was so disappointing, and there was no sticky rice. Its over cooked jasmine rice if I'm not mistaken, and has some sweet coconut milk, with lots of sugar added to the over cooked rice and some very riped pieces of mango in between. Does not do justice to the thai flavours and food at all. The only good part was, as it was a delivery, the packaging was great, the food came super hot and on time. If the food tasted good, I would give 5 stars. But looks can be deceiving!

I met with my best friend Lausanne over lunch as she also works in JLT. We chose this place cause I saw it on Zomato Gold and we were in the mood for Asian food. I love coconut curry so I tried their Salmon Pañang Curry. For AED 44, it was served with steamed rice which I think is generous. I'm not so excited about the taste of the curry as it was kinda thin in texture and it was not really flavorful enough — I like it when my coconut curry is nice and creamy. They also list it on their menu as a spicy dish, but when I had it there was not a tinge of spice at all. The salmon was okay but there was not enough in the serving. I ended up finishing all the salmon and a leftover of a bowl full of just curry, onions and some bokchoy. Lausanne also ordered pad thai noodles with chicken and extra shrimps. Again the serving was generous but it looked like there was disproportionately more noodles than meat and veggies. I tried her food and it was much better than my curry. 🍽 = 10/25 We were attended to by a lady who did just the bare minimum. I didn't catch her name and I didn't bother to do so neither. It was like she had just 3 hours of sleep the night before, I'm sorry to say. It was either that or she was unhappy to be doing her job. She took our order and that was it — no greetings, no attempt to offer us anything else other than the main course or even just a bottle of water. This would have been understandable if they were busy, but there were literally only 3 tables occupied at the time including ours in that huge restaurant. 👫 = 2/10 The ambience is nothing spectacular and you can easily walk past it without giving it a second thought, but I do appreciate the effort put into the interiors. It looks neat and simple — quite minimalistic. I can't point my finger to where exactly they fell short. Maybe it was the lack of background music or lighting. 📸 = 6/10 The price is actually not that bad in itself given the large serving. I also like the fact that their main courses comes with rice unlike other restaurants where you have to order it separately. We used my Zomato Gold so Lausanne and I only ended up splitting our total bill of AED 50. 💸 = 4/5 Overall our experience was lackluster which didn't convince me to come back and even with it being on Zomato Gold, I'd very much rather take my money elsewhere. ⭐️ 10+2+6+4 = 22/50

I want to give 0/5 Story: Received order, “BEEF” & “CHICKEN” marked on the top of each noodle box, but inside of the boxes are different, chicken noodle in the BEEF marked box & beef noodle in the CHICKEN marked box. So, I have two very serious questions: What if due to someone’s religion, they cannot take BEEF? What if due to someone’s disease, they are allergic to one of them, whatever happens, who is taking the responsibility? On top of that, I feel really disappointed with the staff in the restaurant, they heard what was happening, and the reply was “what do you want me to do?” If I tell you what you need to do, what is the reason for you to work in the restaurant?

The curry was very well made and very tasty, though slightly too salty for my pallette. It had a generous amount of veggies and chicken. The Thai mango salad however was horrible. It was inedible. It was a green salad smothered in a sauce similar to sweet mango Lassi. No spiciness o tanginess or any of those amazing flavors generally found in Thai salads. The mango used in the salad was ripe and sweet unlike the green and tangy mango traditionally used for Thai salads. I am sad to say I had to toss it out.

Ordered Thai Vegetable Soup, which was amazingly tasty and surprisingly big - made me full so i did not have a chance yet to try the rest of my order (Pad Thai and Edamame). Ordered for delivery: It took an hour and a half for the food to be delivered which was much longer than they said it would take. When the order finally arrived more that half an hour after it was meant to arrive they didn’t give us the full order, called to complain and was told it will be delivered ASAP, another hour and a half passed and still didn’t receive the missing item ended up having to call them again to check what was going on and had to cancel and ask for a refund as the item was already paid for. The food itself: Food was packaged well. The Shanghai noodles were alright a bit bland, the Cashew chicken had a good taste but it only had four small strips of chicken which was quite disappointing as it mostly consisted of sauce and vegetables - Same problem with the sweet and sour chicken. Miso soup was nice though. Price: Over all for the amount of food you receive the price is a bit too high especially for the main courses. Customer service: People on the phone were very friendly but something about their system isn’t working well as they tell you one thing but that doesn’t happen.

Food is just ok and nothing worth jumping up and down about. The restaurant itself looks very clean and tidy which is a massive plus. The issue is with the portions, I’m not a big eater and they are very small even for me. Orders sweet and sour chicken and only a few pieces of chicken and lots of sauce. Probably wouldn’t eat their again for that reason or would need 2 meals for myself.

We are a regular customer at East Asian, and we always order or dine in because we love their food and the amazing dishes that they serve. However, today we ordered 3 Shanghai Noodles with Shrimp and the noodles were horrible and not spicy at all, the noodles came really bland and with no taste, even the shrimps had no taste! We were all so disappointed! Please make sure you are consistent with your service and the dishes you serve or else your customers will stop eating at your place.

This review is for the delivery service only. The food was delivered within 40 minutes and was well packaged. I ordered the spicy salmon roll and the duck rolls. Both were great and comparable to more well known restaurants! The 10% off makes it quite reasonable too! I can't say much about the main courses, but will try them next time and update this review. The free Panna cotta as part of zomato treats is also a great deal and was super delicious!

Chilled atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. The sushi is great and really reasonably priced, something we don't get to see in Dubai. Brownie point right there if you're a sushi fan. Their quantities are quite amazing. The Thai green curry is a great choice.

Tried home delivery, & after 60 minutes of waiting to order was received. Well packaged one must say, & still hot. However the food was absolutely flavorless, it was just very spicy.. flavors of all herbs & flavors mentioned did not exist, the coconut milk, lemon grass, curry.. etc. nothing but the sharp chilies. & to add up, there was literally 6 pieces of chicken stripes only in the big container of the banang gai Thai curry.

Quite a disappointment! Ordered Thai green curry which was totally white! The vegetables were hardly there and had sliced onions in it! The second dish that we ordered was nasi goreng- firstly they used basmati rice to make nasi goreng and then had no flavours of this Indonesian dish. Quite a bad experience!!

It is a very hidden gem in the city when it comes to Asian Food. This place is nice, casual, simple, clean and tidy and has a lovely personnel with very affordable prices and big quantities. My favourite ever is their Fried Rice section, differently cooked based on one's taste. I use to order it weekly but now i moved to downtown and is more difficult to go. i use to alternate among their Singapore/Terikiaki/Nasi Goreng and Shanghai rice. All worth a try.

Tried it several times, some feedback: - the chinese dishes have way too much sugar in their sauce - sushi is probably a better one when it comes to price/quantity ratio. Thought the spicy tuna I had before should be called spicy rice as you almost couldn't taste any due to limited amount (see picture attached). Also it doesn't resemble the picture at all. I wish you improve this in the future.

I had been to this place a bunch of times when I worked for a multinational sweatshop. I always enjoyed their food but always thought that I was biased. However this time I decided to take my better half over to this joint on Saturday night. We ordered enough food for 2 people to dine in and then we ordered some food to be taken home. To be honest I don't remember the names of the dishes ( yea they are hard to pronounce if you're not from Thailand), anyways, the food was really good, the beef dish I ordered was spicy but I asked for more spice; as I tend to enjoy the tingling sensation on my tounge. The flavour was spot on, beef was cooked well and it had veggies; now if my mom was there and she saw me eat ma veggies, she would give me a gold star or like an ice cream or something ;). My wife ordered a chicken dish that she enjoyed so much that she soildered on through the spice to try and finish it. I however found it to be very tasteful and had a good quantity of gravy and a nice Strawberry jelly like consistency. I ordered their mojito that has mango in it and let me warn you that it's not something that goes well with beef and it's very heavy - personally I didn't enjoy it all that much. Their take out was great, the folks at home enjoyed it and didn't fuss about the fact that I was putting east asian food in front of them. My father took note of the high quality of their rice. One gripe I go have is that they cheaper out on the beef and the chicken and filled it with a bit too much veggies. The service is amazing and friendly, the staff are great and make you enjoy eating there at 10 30 in the night.

Fantastic establishment with delicious food, great services, stunning designs and layout. The staff there is very professional and will try their maximum to make you feel happy. The atmosphere and outdoor with an amazing view. Highly recomended.

If you are a Vegetarian you have to try the Buddha's Tofu, simply outstanding!!! The Tofu and the sauce are just perfectly prepared. This place usually has good service!

Love this place. Their Cashew Beef is hands down the best item on the menu. However, I've had it many a times and very frequently the dish contains hardly any beef and more of vegetables. They have a wide variety of sushi. For drinks, their mango mint, mixed berry with orange, and the mojito are chilly and yum. My favourite desserts are banana spring rolls, and the vanilla caramel brownie. Their presentation is a 10/10. The staff are very friendly and even make small talk with us. Once, we had ordered the Cashew Beef and they got Cashew Chicken instead, and they apologised and gave us that complimentary, and got our Cashew Beef as well. That was very nice of them. The place is beautifully decorated - looking at it from outside will make you want to step in. There are even benches to sit outside where you can eat out and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and the skyscrapers.

The decor in this place is very attractive and inviting so I thought I'd try it out for lunch. It wasn't crowded. Just 3 other tables were occupied. Staff was attentive and nice. Sushi was fresh and while it tasted good it's not the best I've eaten or even above average. Presentation was great. Along with the sushi we ordered Shanghai fried rice and I wasn't very happy with it. The rice was tough instead of soft probably because it was overcooked with soya sauce. Chicken in it was ample and it came with veggies like broccoli so that eadnt overcooked so that was good but I really wish the rice easnt over done. Would definitely try another dish again.

Visited with my colleagues for an after work snack. The look and feel of the place justifies the name and so does the food. My brief opinion about the food we ordered is shared below and can say a good experience with East Kitchen. Shrimp nam pla – The food was weirdly delicious. The cuisine is traditionally served with lightly stir fried or steamed shrimps (as far as I know) but to suit our taste, the meal was served with grilled shrimps! The shrimps were topped with ground red and green chillies mixed with some ‘nam pla’ sauce as the chef told. Try for yourself to find out why weirdly delicious. Shanghai noodles – Noodles with egg and vegetables. Suitable for all kinds of taste buds. You may choose to make it spicy or subtle. The chef has the hands to serve you exactly what you want on your table. Mango Mint drink – MUST TRY!! Tangy drink with a smoothie like consistency made of raw mango and mint. I might just pass by to have it as a take away drink. We so loved it.

Just ordered from Zomato, as they had an offfer. Got salmon maki, tuna maki and avocado maki. The salmon was not fresh and even tuna had weird raste. However, the avocado maki was great. Such a pitty. Will not order again.

I ate twice from this place, one time ordered in and the other i picked up the food on my way home ( i was walking my dog, ordered on my way up and picked on my way back :) ). The food ingredients are fresh and looks nice, but somehow the all over combined dish doesnt come out as good. Not worth a 3rd trail.

PLEASE DO ONT ORDER FROM HERE! People, you've been warned. I ordered twice from this place and everytime they dissapoint even more. First time i ordered came late and cold even though i live literally 200 meters away. Poor taste in both dishes. Second time i ordered they didn't even deliver!! After they confirmed the order on zomato and called to confirm, they called back 45 minutes later to say cannot deliver to that location even though it shows they deliver on zomato and they also confirmed the order. Worst part is when the "manager" called to tell me that the location is more than 35 km away (even though it is 20) and that i put the wrong address, even though the order details shows it would be delivered to jafza. Basically blaming me. Advise from one foodie to another, avoid this place.

Many bad reviews for this place, however I had a good experience. The service was quick, and the portions were big which is always a plus in my book as its value for money. We opted for dine in so I'm not sure about the delivery. Chicken and noodles were great, and try the duck rolls.

I had a lunch today , it was great experience my colics refer the place , I have ordered gai massaman & east shrimp cocktail , massaman was rich in aromatic flavor of galangal & shrimp cocktail was yummy , mango Mint drink is amazing as well .

Ordered for delivery a couple of times. Rather good quality food but really bland food. Does not excite the palate. Quiet boring flavors but contrary to most Americanized Chinese establishments this one uses higher quality ingredients.

I ordered from East kitchen a few days back and the experience was terrible. The food was a few minutes but if I was thinking that it would be worth the wait, I was proven quite wrong. I ordered sweet and sour vegetable with jasmine rice, which was reasonably expensive. What I got was peppers floating in bad tomato ketchup. All I could manage was a few spoons before I gave up and called subway instead. All in all, will never order from here again.
