Before I talk about the terrible delivery experience I’ve had, some positives: their Jalapeño paneer burger is an all time favorite!! Love their Rasmalai cake, breads and variety of pastries. They’ve also got vegan desserts. However, when it comes to deliveries, Vego is not consistent. I’ve booked cakes several times for deliveries. But recently, after I confirmed a cake on the phone and went to the cafe to pay, they declined a delivery because the location was apparently far. And they’ve delivered to this location at least 2x in the past - it’s not more than 20minutes away! And then as a customer, I was made to contact their delivery guy separately and negotiate a delivery price, 4x more than Vego’s quoted delivery price. A business that has a contract with a delivery company should never make this a customer’s problem, and should be extremely clear about delivery scope. And as someone who loves Vego, it’s quite troubling and discouraging. This has happened twice. Twice out of the other times, when delivery to the location was completely okay, and at AED 5. I hope Vego’s management solves this… or at least include cakes into Noon / Zomato, so having it delivered to friends and family on special occasions is made easier. Additionally, the first few times I ordered the jalapeño paneer burger, the staff was very accommodating of making it in their whole wheat bun, but recently, they refused. And I don’t understand why, because they clearly sell whole wheat buns in the cafe… seemed extremely odd to me. Still recommend the pastries and bakery goods though!

Although many have tried to master skills and compete with fusion and non veg restaurants, this group has always stood out for me when it comes to veg food with taste and twist. Here is what we had when we visited: Dosa Waffle: One of a kind and made to perfection. You will not miss the "waffle" as this is a better version. Yum o meter: 5/5 Chilly Paneer: I loved the use of charcoal in the fresh bun and the crispy onions added all the flavour. It is deliciously spicy. Yum o meter: 5/5 Dhabeli: Another crunchy flavour in the traditional Dhabeli. this one had all the flavours found in Indian street food version. Yum o meter: 5/5 Cheese Chili Garlic Manakeesh: I loved the addition of chili to match the garlic and both flavours complimented each other so well. I was left asking for more. Yum o meter: 10/5 Strawberry spinach salad: This one was just so delicious, I wished there was a slightly more portion to it. The grilled Halloumi and walnuts were all so favorable along with the sauce on the spinach. Loved it. Vego Cafe is new and hip joint. Loved the ambience and offer lots of options too. My favorite is Rasmalai cake.

Most Pathetic customer service and food packaging. The came spilt in the bag. After raising the complaint to the restaurant they promised to replace the order in 30 mins, which never happened. And after following-up on the same they gave a lame excuse that they don't have a delivery person available. If they don't have the resources they must not fake promise the customers. Due to this unnecessary wait I had to delay other priorities. Extremely poor service, never ever going to order from here. Finally I wasted my money as I didn't even get my order. Zomato must blacklist this restaurant.

Usually I'm a dosa person, but this time I was team idli. <br/><br/>What exactly is the idli slider you ask? It's a potato patty sandwiched between two idlis, drenched in this delicious sambhar sauce. So bloody delish! <br/><br/>The dosa waffle was crispy, fresh and tasty! We are frequent visitors to vego cafe as it has a great interior, a very cozy ambience, tons of games and books to pass time, extremely friendly staff and amazing mouth-watering dishes. The service is quick and the staff pays special attention to ensure you feel comfortable. We especially love the wide variety of desserts and pastries the cafe offers. A definite must-try for all food-lovers.

I came across this place during one of my evening walks and I have been revisiting since then for all my desert cravings - they never seem to disappoint. This is the first time I called for a home delivery red velvet pastry and chilli cheese toast, the food on time, tasted great. Vego cafe is a great place for a brunch or an evening snack. The food spread and beverages is just apt to spend a few hours with your family and friends. The snacks were yummy and fresh. Tried the BBQ Paneer Slider, Avo Toast and Chilly Cheese Garlic Manakeesh. The portion size is just perfect and tempting to try more. They have vegan and gluten-free options too. Thanks Govinda for the wonderful service. Highly recommended cafe!!

Good food and very good service by Govinda. The paneer jalapeño sliders is nice with little spice. We had also ordered avo on toast which was fresh and delicious. Also you can try the cheese chilly garlic manakeesh.

Vego cafe has the most delicious milk cakes. Their saffron milk cake is absolutely scrumptious and a must have!! Their Rasmalai & pistachio cake is so soft it literally melts in the mouth. I cannot wait to visit Vego cafe and try their cakes again!

I was here one weekend morning and loved the cozy cafe setup and the innovative fusion vegan menu. The place is done by neat and simple and follows a minimalistic approach in the setup. The place has a very home like feel with books and lots of greenery.<br/><br/>We started our breakfast with the Acai Bowl. Bananas, strawberries, granola and peanut butter, this one was really good. <br/><br/>I also tried the following dishes: <br/><br/>Tofu Florentine - Spiced Tofu on masala bread topped, Tofu lovers, this one is a sure not to miss. <br/><br/>Kale Paratha - Kale and onion paratha served with tomato salsa and sour cream this combination was unique, I only wish the parathas were a bit softer though. <br/><br/>To drink I called for an Apple Beetroot and Carrot mixed juice, so fresh and refreshing, absolutely loved it. <br/><br/>The Grilled Avocado is a must try if you are an avocado fan, it is served with teriyaki sauce, sea salt and sesame. Got this cheesecake to celebrate father's Day and it turned out to be so rich and gooey. Absolutely loved the texture. The sugar level was just perfect and the crumbs of lotus biscoff went perfectly with the cheese. I highly recommend you all should try this dessert at Vego. They specialise in vegetarian and vegan desserts, which are to die for!😍

With a nice ambience and a chill vibe, this place has something for everyone! They have an elaborate menu with delicious food, and they offer a range of healthy options as well! Their desserts are a must try! We tried a variety of desserts which included the KitKat pastry, Rose milk cake and the Rasmalai pastry, and they were ALL out of the world! <br/>Their confectionery includes a wide spread of freshly baked bread, cakes, pastries, macaroons, brownies and even a healthy version of Nutella! Since it was Father's day i requested the staff to write "happy fathers day" on the cake plate, a bit hesitant to accept the request but still fulfilled. All the vegetarians out there looking for delicious food should definitely visit Vego Cafe located in Mankhool , Dubai. They have variety of options and also have vegan options. They have Indian Food with a twist. Let me first talk about Idli Slider and Dosa waffle. Wait what? Did someone say dosa waffle? This was something very new to me and the taste was delicious. Crisp and soft at the same time. They have amazing slider options as well. We tried falafel slider , potato quinoa slider and paneer slider. All 3 were superb and great taste. Loved the sauce inside the slider. We also had a classic cheese chilli toast which was perfect and an amazing option for breakfast. Let's come to the snacks they have. They have many but I tried the crispy corn and spinach which was delicious and healthy. They also have a lot of vegan smoothies and my favorite was the Vitamin C smoothie. Super heavy and healthy. Price was good. Quantity was good. Make sure to visit and try out some different and mouthwatering food.

My friends and I went for breakfast to Vego and absolutely fell in love from the get go. The menu had an entirely new look and feel, with a ton of vegan fusion items to choose from. I ordered the Berry Bowl and the Date Smoothie. Loved how both weren't sugar laden yet so delicious. Vego Cafe has been quite active on social media since it reopened after lockdown restrictions were eased; and I must say their feeds are quite drool worthy. <br/><br/>Recently they launched their Pastry Box promotion. 6 regular savoury pastry items for AED 22 & 10 for AED 28.<br/><br/>Called the cafe to order a box of 10 assorted pastries and they were delivered in a breeze.<br/><br/>Here is what I ordered.<br/><br/>1) Samosa Puff - Quite an interesting take on the usual Punjabi Samosa. Delish!!! <br/><br/>2) Pav Bhaji Pin Wheel - No pav Bhaji stuffed in here but had flavours.<br/><br/>3) Mini Veg Pizza - Great taste!!!<br/><br/>4) Spinach Corn Cheese Puff - Quite cheesy but a bit bland. <br/><br/>Overall enjoy the stuff and decent value for money. <br/><br/>Now looking forward to visiting them soon to try some of their food items. What’s not to love about Vego cafe?! Who knew that Vegan food could be so delicious. The first time I ate at Vego, I instantly knew this was one cafe I would keep coming back to and not just for its beautiful interiors and the warmth but the equally delicious and nutritious food! Whether it’s their fresh bakery items, the vegan Nutella (my favourite), the golden turmeric chia pudding (mouthwatering), the rose latte (dreaming about it) or their value for money dishes - everything is made from the heart. I’m definitely a fan and will keep coming back for more!

Some of my favorites were the <br/>💥vegan omelette with avocado <br/>💥Vegan(!!) hash browns<br/>💥Tofu Florentine<br/>The restaurant also has a confectionery bar and bakery with amazing croissants, chocolate/peanut butter snacks bars, masala bread, muffins and brownies ofcourse and much much more!! I really love that anyone transitioning into a vegan lifestyle would find it so much easier with such delicious and innovative options to choose from.<br/>

Ordered cheese and zaatar manakeesh - it was delicious, super fresh and tasty, and a rose latte, also lovely. Definitely recommend and will order again 😊

Got this deliciously yum cake customized for my Baby’s first birthday. It’s one of the best Belgium chocolate in town. Excellent service with the ease of home delivery. <br/>A must must try! Vegan lovers this is the place for you 🎂🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Vegan lover or not, Vego cafe is a must visit. It’s one of the few places with healthy yet delicious food. The masala bread is to DIE FOR! We bought a whole loaf of it and my family ate it all on the same day. I highly recommend you check out their masala bread and other interesting dishes.

Ordered quite a few dishes from Vego - loved the idli slider, it is an interesting concept and their tomato chutney is very good. My friends loved the chili cheese toast, cheesy maggi and dabeli. The portion sizes are good, and definitely value for money. The sliders come with potato chips on the side, and the packaging is solid. The only thing I would like is some chilli flakes and oregano to go with the maggi.

Vego is one of my favorite joints when it comes to healthy, fresh & yummy comfort food. I love the ambiance. The staff is very welcoming & hospitable. I highly recommend this place 😋😋

Finally a place for a pure vegetarian with so many options to Indulge.. This place is guilt free=good food.. From milk or lotus cake , grilled cheese sandwich, fresh baked breads to eggless crossiants and waffles.. We recently Had tired their breakfast menu which also was very very good Everything about his place is divine😁...

Loved my experience at Vego..!! Have been visiting it quite frequently. I love the Bombay Sandwich, Dhabeli, Avo toast, carrot cake.. the list goes on have tried almost every item.. love the ambience as well!!

They have a lot really good vegan options. The staff is very friendly and are aware of the ingredients in every dish. They also have a lot of smoothies and other healthy options and provide options of various plant based mylks as an alternate for your coffee. Their shrooms and spinach sandwich is outstanding. If you are a vegan/vegetarian then this place is def for you.

The food is always fresh and of a high quality. I am always impressed with the taste of the food and the variety of options available. I love to eat their jalapeño paneer sliders and their sandwiches. The drinks are always fresh and the desserts have amazing options to choose from. The staff is also friendly and the cafe has a nice ambience. It is also hygienic and clean. I recommend Vego Cafe to everyone.

I've been closely following the newly opened Vego Cafe on Instagram and succumbed to try out their delicious dishes. I was assured about the cleanliness of the restaurant during these current Covid situations by seeing the owners and staff working round the clock to ensure safety is maintained at all times.<br/>I ordered misal pav, dabeli, chilli cheese toast. The misal pav was delicious and it was served in a bread bowl filled with flavourful sprouts. The portion of the dabeli was perfect for one and the patty filling was packed with the perfect Indian flavors. For dessert, I opted for the lotus cheesecake and I am definitely going to order it again! The cake was moist and the crunchiness of the lotus biscoff added the right amount of texture and crunch to the cheesecake.<br/>Highly recommend trying out this place.. They also have freshly baked breads that look divine! Placing my order soon!

Vego is one of the first of its kind that is in a predominantly non-vegan area. For the same reason it is highly convenient for those who are on the lookout for fresh and high quality dishes. I highly recommend the oat brick, vegan marble cupcake and being vegan cookies! I have also tried the idli slider which is definitely one of a kind! A must try is the oat waffle which is vegan and gluten free as an added bonus! I ordered mine with peanut butter, sliced bananas and cacao nibs, and it was definitely heaven on a plate! Vego is my go-to place for a late night dessert (since I’m vegan) and I highly enjoy their treats every time! 💕<br/>PS-Their service can be a little slow but the staff is very accommodating and polite to talk to!

VEGO is nice addition to Spice Klub and Quattro . I am anyways a regular at both these restaurants but this little gem is great addition for the cafe culture ! <br/>Since it’s near to my place , its very good if you want to work in peace while enjoying a good cup of coffee or chai ! With an awesome vegan menu the cheesy Maggie was Delish ! And it has a range of vegan dishes to try from.<br/>Govinda really takes care and is happy to help and serve your order and recommends good stuff from the menu ! <br/>A must visit for all the people in Bur Dubai ! Or anyone who would like to chill !

Vego’s food never fails to impress. Great vibe, great service, great food! All their ingredients are fresh and delicious. Their sliders and avo toast are winners. You can’t miss their desserts, ice cream slider hits the right spots! The menu offers something for everyone’s taste.

Hi. I had been to Vego many times. My all time favourite is Misal With Bread bowl and Dabeli pav. Sliders are perfectly made especially the sweet potato with Quinoa. A must place to go for fun food.

We ordered comfort salad ..It was not at all tastey..almonds were just sprinkled...<br/><br/>Belgian waffle was rubber not cooked at all...though they didnt charge as we complained .We went with very high expectations however came out worth worst vegan option to be around ....Avacado toast was only thing we liked ..not recommended at all

I checked out Vego recently after seeing their Instagram page. I tried the Sweet potato slider and crispy potato slider. Both were a little too spicy for me. When they asked me for feedback, I told them the same and they were more than happy to work on it and make it less spicy. The patty of the Crispy Potato slider is soooo delicious. Once they make the overall slider less spicier, it will be amazing. They were so sweet to even offer a complimentary dessert since I found the slider spicy. I also tried the Dosa Waffle which is completely unique and I really enjoyed it. The service was good. Happy with my experience.

Absolutely loved a vegan restaurant in my area, not that im big on vegan stuff but once in a while I love exploring restaurants which serve plant based or vegan meals. <br/>I went with another blogger friend to review the restaurant and was surprised to see so many vegan/healthy snacks n bread options as well. For starters we ordered cheesy Maggie which was fairly average, idli which was good, falafel burger which was again quiet delicious and bombay grilled sandwich which was loaded with cheese and veggies and was yummy. <br/>Ended the meal with chocolate milkshake and oats waffles which again were nice but not my favorite i would say. <br/>In all great ambience and i like how they have a great variety in menu. They have zillions of options for macrons, pastries and cakes. 😍

Delivery was super fast n I had requested them if they can write a birthday note n they did thank you so much

Vego Café is a pure heaven for all the vegetarians and healthy people- they have eggless bakes along with gluten free breads and desserts. Their menu is unique and it has various options from sliders, to manakish, Indian snacks and yummy desserts.<br/><br/>To start with, we tried the Magic Maggi which was loaded with cheese, bursting with flavors. Definitely, a must try. For sides, we called for Parmesan Truffles fries, very addictive. Their cheese garlic manakish was really yummy. Loved it! My favorite was the Bombay Grill Sandwich, OMG I have too say this was one of the best grilled sandwiches I’ve ever had- made with perfection. <br/><br/>The sliders they serve are very unique, I tried Falafel slider and Idli slider. Falafel slider had perfect amount of tahini sauce and did not make it soggy. Idli slider was presented in a very different way and is considered as Chef’s speciality.<br/><br/>For desserts, we ordered for Oats waffles with Almond flakes and Nutella. You can never go wrong with Nutella, they were awesome. Perfect end to our meal.<br/><br/>Thank you Vego team for having us over! Definitely coming back for more!

Authentic food and great value. I recommend it! The cafe is a great venue for meetings and enjoying a good cup of coffee as well as a good range of food. The Belgium Chocolate Cake, Idli Slider, Ferrero Rocher Shake, and the Spicy Avo Cashew Salad are some of my personal favorites.  Vegan and Gluten-free options are also a great concept! Vegan and Vegetarian, this is a must visit if you love all things plant based! They also have items with dairy and dairy free options so do check the menu or ask if you're particular.<br/><br/>We walked to Vego to have some decent vegetarian food and ended up enjoying it to the fullest. We ordered:<br/><br/>- Magic Maggi - Cheesy maggi with Lays Magic Masala. If you love cheesy noodles, this will curb those cravings.<br/>- Idli Slider - Twist to the usual modern Burger, this slider has idli in place of buns and a veggie pattie that almost tastes like Bhaji from Pav Bhaji. Gettit? SO GOOD. I will come back for this one.<br/>- Bombay Grill - Street sandwich from Bombay at Vego. I have eaten only once before, and this tasted closest to it.<br/><br/>For drinks we had Karak Chai and Orange Juice along with Tiramisu as a dessert.<br/><br/>Great staff and quick service, a little music would really bring in those chill cafe vibes.

Loved the atmosphere, great addition of board & cards to keep my friends & I occupied. The crispy corn with spinach was smashing, great textures & flavours. The homemade breads used for the sliders & manakeesh are too good to miss. The pastry section had plenty of dairy & gluten free pastries to satisfy my diet conscious friends!! Definitely would recommend to visit!

100% would recommend going for the dessert, so guilt free. Loved the truffle Manakish and the service was top notch, they were willing to tweak the dishes to my preference. Loved it !

A welcome new age concept, vegetarian/ vegan fusion Indian healthy with a delicious twist, something out of the box but does not compromise on the taste, loved everything we tried but the maggi is a must order, will be back to try the rest, excellent breads desserts, and take away croissants and puffs, stop by for a quick pickup soon.

Love the vegan options and the presentation is just beautiful. And its reasonably priced! Kudos!

Okay, so presenting to you the new cafe in town, @vego_cafe .. self explanatory, everything you order there is vegan & vegetarian. <br/>My recommendation is to order Magic Maggi, crispy potato, dosa waffle, and house sandwich. One word YUM ... (coming from a meat lover)<br/><br/>By the way, you can order, desserts and freshly baked breads from their confectionary section too. Thank you @vego_cafe for having us over. Still dreaming about the Magic Maggi though 😂😂

I had been to the restaurant for some light snacks, ordered for missal pav, it was good but in a different concept. Waiter didn’t even bother to explain it and just left it on us to guess the concept. Although the restaurant was completely empty, no one except us still he was in hurry. Then we ordered for zaatar manakish. After confirming with him as to how it will be, it turned out to be something very different and when asked waiter about it, he himself is clueless. We used to come regularly to quattro so thought of trying vego but would never ever stop at vego
