This cafeteria sells the best dosa and idli in UAE in fact it is much better than saravana bhavan, also the cafeteria is very sanitary , the staff is very cooperative and works diligently. Overall it is the best South Indian cafe!!

Biryani is best in town and morning idli dosa are very tasty..good restaurant but only problem is parking.there should be seperate parking for customers and need to increase tables for families, as some times too much crowded.

Oh my, how could anyone rate it so low! This is the kind of place which looks very poor, but gives u the authentic malabar food for surprisingly cheaper prices. Be it beef, mutton or even fish, and even pathiris! Really quick delivery! The customer service could be a bit better. At least over the phone, it all seemed too rushed and indifferent. They tend to be a bit heavy handed with the spices... but the end result is not too bad. I recommend the Prawn Fry, really nice!

I usually order home takeaway dishes from the restaurant whenever I need something quick and that is really low cost also. The Hydrabadi Biryani that had is not at all recommended as it lacked in spices and warmth in food while delivered. Its light snacks and early morning are the most of highlighting dishes.

We are used to buying the occasional evening snacks like samosa, vada or cutlet from here which by the way tastes really good. But I cant give the same review for the food :(<br/><br/>We went in for dinner and ordered wheat puttu with egg curry and Idiappam with veg stew. The egg curry basically just tasted of red chilli powder no other flavor coming though. And the veg stew was kinda too sweet since the coconut milk was a bit too much plus the veggies in it (potatoes and beans) were still raw. <br/><br/>Service is OK and the interiors are very basic. Only plus point is that the food is cheap. Food we ordered plus tea came upto only AED23. Guess I'll just stick to ordering their snacks.

We prefer this restaurant for their breakfast. My daughter loves the Puttu Kadala (Kadala is a coconut based gravy made from black channa) from Ceylon & we (me & my dear wife) like the egg roast which can be had either with hot Appams or idiyappams. Egg Roast is on the spicier side and hence recommend for people who prefer more spice. Idlis and vadas are also ok in taste at this place<br/>We do not prefer the Main courses for Lunch / Dinner as taste is pretty average.<br/>Do try the breakfast in Ceylon<br/>Located in Shaikh Colony in Quasis.<br/>Till then Happy Eating & Happy Living.....

So on a lazy weekday, we ordered some Chinese food here cause we didn't feel like cooking.<br/><br/>We ordered the mixed chinese noodles and the garlic fish. The noodles were fine, extremely home food and no real essence of Chinese food (not even soy sauce) and a lot of pepper was added which really threw the taste off. The prawns, egg and chicken in the noodles were however cooked very well. The garlic fish was really chilly fish, it was so spicy that even after mixing it with the noodles the spicy remained. <br/><br/>Price: The price however is the only plus point, since the total meal was AED 26/- <br/><br/>Service: Since it was a takeaway I'm not too sure about service but the food arrived within half hour as promised.
