Porotta and beef fry after a long time. Reminds me of home town. Chicken malabari not bad. Good and pleasant service. Tea was pleasuring and was in large glass than the other restaurant.
A reasonable restaurant and good option for home delivery..the pricing is reasonable and they serve mostly south Indian food along with Chinese..the food quality is good and hygiene level is around 3.5/5..they serve chicken masala which cost just 8dhs which is a real good dish when you are too lazy to cook something at home..
Today I decided to try there menu. I ordered paratha and sweet corn soup with chicken. I like their paratha and soup. However, I wish that they will add more corn and chicken in the soup.
Their early morning parathas are the best and so is their chicken biryani. Never tried anything else and nor have I ever dined in. But their service is quick and the food is good, from what I have tried out.

If you want to grab a quick dum biryani this is the place you should go. This is not one of those fancy mallu restaurants but one thing I know for sure: Their biryani is amazing! I have tried their fish biryani and the chicken variant and both are yummy. Dum biryani is only available during lunch time; so I recommend you go for the Dum biryani before 3 PM. The staff are all old hats who knows the complete history of the eatery. They are quite courteous and quick on service.
Other dishes you can try are the squid roast, prawn varattiyathu and crab masala. This restaurant was once legendary among office goers and singletons living in Qusais and adjoining places. The ambience is not up to the mark for family; hence for people with larger feeding strength at home should opt for home delivery or takeaway.
Having eaten their biryani a zillion times I strongly recommend that you try it once but remember the ground rules mentioned above.

01 Apr 2018... came to Ceylon for Biryani and porotta. They got their interiors done up a bit it seems... ordered squid dry fry, chicken biryani, porotta and beef varattiyathu( pretty good one this!)... posting photos!!
Ambience is Moderate; taste of most of the items are ok; Price is reasonable with friendly staff. delivery is also fast. food worth money!!
Ceylon is my favourite from kochi itself. It was deliteful to see der branch here. And the food is so soo affordable but still tasty. For ur biriyani is ceylon biriyani.

Hellooooo beautiful people, mood for a special item called Kunji pathiri and this place serves it with great taste.
It's a small restaurant serving average Kerala food but Outstanding Kunji pathiri during Ramadan. From last 9 yrs this place serves it with same taste n its really a stomach filler. Staffs are good n very easy to find the location.

Oh my, how could anyone rate it so low! This is the kind of place which looks very poor, but gives u the authentic malabar food for surprisingly cheaper prices. Be it beef, mutton or even fish, and even pathiris! The kind of place where you see even rich families coming and eating happily!
Got lots of seating for the cafeteria of that size.
Don't bother ordering the chicken items though, not really satisfying.
Do try their tiny samosas and chai. Best combo for a Qtown chillout.
The hotel is small but decent. I liked their special soup named Nadan Malabar soup really u love the taste n flavor. And also their barottas are superb👌👌
Good food!! Name is ceylon but its mallu food!! Decent place small but ok!! Good food!! Spicy and tasty!! I like the biryani, spicy curries and the parathas!!
Really quick delivery! The customer service could be a bit better. At least over the phone, it all seemed too rushed and indifferent. They tend to be a bit heavy handed with the spices... but the end result is not too bad. I recommend the Prawn Fry, really nice!
Ordered the traditional lunch -tea gap food of malayalees kerala porotta and beef roast it was very much filling and tasty not that much to sit still excellent keralarestaurant
Looks like a small hotel, but they have some spectacular kerala food.
Try the Pomfret roast masala here and you will get addicted to the dish.Also try for the mutton as well as chicken stew.

This cafeteria sells the best dosa and idli in UAE in fact it is much better than saravana bhavan, also the cafeteria is very sanitary , the staff is very cooperative and works diligently. Overall it is the best South Indian cafe!!

Biryani is best in town and morning idli dosa are very tasty..good restaurant but only problem is parking.there should be seperate parking for customers and need to increase tables for families, as some times too much crowded.
