Плюсы Сказки - низкие цены и быстрая доставка. Но качество еды - отстой. Мясо в борще невозможно разжевать (только 1 раз было норм, раз на раз не приходится), вместо Сметаны подают какой то арабский лабан, в Солянке - самая дешевая соевая колбаса, перепёлки - замороженные, пельмени - с ужасным мясом. Как по мне, так лучше повысьте цены, но закупайте ингредиенты нормального качества. Не довольна.

Total order was 155 aed. Only what we enjoyed was samosa 2 pcs. Waiting time 1hr40 mins!!! From JLT to Discovery Gardens. Seriously you should give bike to your valet. Oversalted borsh! Barbecue too! And gosh how possible to oversalt biryani wich had no massala btw. Just very salty rice with chicken. Chicken I fidnt tried really sent to the bin! But looks like you are recycling not sold barbecue in all your dishes! Not fresh potato, herring was fine but potato cold from fridge. Vegetables also old and salty.

I really didn't like the food. it's mentioned when ordering through Zomato that the Korean Noodle Soup is vegetarian but they gave me beef with it which is ridiculous - I don't mind so much but what if someone was a vegetarian. Their mashed potato tasted a bit weird too.

Being regular customer, liked this place as the quality of food was always good. Ordered the usual today, chicken cutlet (that's how they call chicken Kiev) and was extremely disappointed as it was so soggy, so completely soaked in frying oil, soft and falling apart piece of minced something! Very good! Salad: 1) Sour cabbage - good portion, great texture, and amazing taste. Main Course: 1) Cabbage rolls with minced meat - only three rolls with a piece of carrot, potato, and tomato, but the leaves were stuffed with a good amount of meat, so they were filling. Nice taste. 2) Big dumplings with meat - great! 4 large dumplings with a very basic flavor, just meat and onion, but they were delicious (and I didn’t mind the grease from the meat because it just added to the flavor). 3) Dumplings with cottage cheese - nice sweet flavor and good portion. Pastry: 1) Pie with potato - my least favorite, it was okay. Surprised that dill was added, I didn’t think dill was an herb used in Russia/Uzbek cuisine. 2) Uzbek bread - good, slightly sweetish. Drink: 1) Kvas - carbonated malt beverage that has a hint of licorice. I was not a fan, but my partner enjoyed it. The restaurant’s only downside was that it was smokey inside (cooking smoke), but I would still go back or get delivery - open 24 hours it says!

Delivery was just on time. But... The roast beef doesn’t have much of beef in it, its just mostly tomatoes (not sure if its the right order). The fried tongue with onion is flavorless and too soggy. Salmon grill is just okay but too dry. I’m just really disappointed coz I didn’t get what I expected. We ended up wasting so much food and money. Giving 2s just for the fast delivery.

I have lived in Dubai for about 7 years and i have to say that this restaurant serves the worst food i have ever eaten. I often order from its competitor russian restaurants and at first i was a bit surprised by the menu of this one.. they serve Indian, continental, and russian food which is unusual for a russian restaurant. I ordered the roast beef and buckwheat. One would imagine roast beef to be a DRY dish. Instead this came in some kind of watery tomato and onion curry! Next was the quantity, i had to use magnifying glasses to find even one piece of beef and even the buckwheat portion was so little that a 5 year old child would be asking for more food after eating what they sent. Horrible experience and NEVER AGAIN!!

We usually love to try different cuisine. And this is one of my fav. It's an authentic Russian/ Caucasian cuisine. Over all is just satisfying. Im not a fan of tomatoes but their pickled tomatoes are heaven. Even their pancakes with meat and pilmeni is absolutely drooling. Highly recommend. Big thumbs up!

Never wrote comments in my life, but for this terrible situation I had to even register in Zomato. So I ordered cold starter called Meat jelly (холодец) which arrived on time. There was a huge MOLD (Плесень) on top. It is so disgusting and I remember how many times I ate their food without even thinking if they are hygienic or not. The way I was replied on phone on this issue as well was unbelievable. They are RUDE and CARELESS. You should trust to the restaurant you order from. I don’t trust them at all after that and you should be careful.

best breakfast ever, just be cautious as the pie with potato filling is so fresh and hot it might burn ur mouth, but couldn't resist finishing the French fries, can't ask for anything more, even the sauce (different taste) went well. definitely will order again. keep up the good work guys. delivery guy was generous even at early morning.

Food arrived really quickly. Not quite what we expected. Ordered a tomato and cucumber salad (thinking it will be light and fresh) with a cream of mushroom soup. Salad was soggy and warm, sliced thinly and packed tightly in clingfilm. Mushroom soup tasted like Campbell’s from a can and was salty. My friend ordered the steak with mushroom sauce. It came breaded, well cooked, and covered in soggy mortadella and tomato slices with sauce. Very salty as well. We couldn’t finish all of it. Good if you’re hungry and need a heavy (salty) meal. Bad if you were thinking the opposite.

The business that runs 3 branches, could probably invest some time and money in a more quality translations... being very familiar with the cuisine, it still took me time to figure out what was what in the menu and.... I still managed to order a wrong thing. Food was average. Draniki were so oily and burned that the whole plate went straight to into the bin. Pancakes with meat were okay. Plus yogurt is NOT smetana. Just won’t do the job and charging 5 dirham for it is just a ripoff and scam. First and last time..

i generally like Skazka restaurant for delivery as food comes hot. ( even though sometimes it takes long to come). quality is very decent. i usually go for pies with meat and borsch. not big fan of their salads as find it undersalted ( should they start salting vegetables during boiling - that would make a big difference) my non-Russian husband also enjoys meal once in a while.

Such a good Uzbek food! I love their samsa (goes with hot adjika sauce) and manti (with sour cream); it definitely brings me nostalgia of my childhood in Crimea. The soup with meatballs is also at my top. I didn't like their crepes with cottage cheese though, were not to my taste at all. Pretty content with the delivery service as well (but I live nearby), no complains - always faster than expected.

We have tried a couple of delivery orders from Skazka. We ordered Dumplings with Cottage Cheese, Dumplings with meat, Potato and Meat Pies, Uzbek Bread and Chicken in a pot. The delivery times are good and food reaches hot and fresh. The flavours are unique, hearty and tasty. Our favourite is chicken in a pot which is a lot of cream with Chicken, Mushrooms and some spices. This dish is just awesome indulgence, have it with some Uzbek bread and you would be licking your fingers afterwards. The dumplings with meat came in a clear dill based broth which had a very clean flavor, if you don't like dill then maybe don't try this dish. We liked the warmth of the dish. Dumplings with cottage cheese are a bit of surprise pop as they have a sweetness to them which we hadn't expected. We had it like a sweetdish in the end. Potato Pie and Meat Pies are fresh and i think made to order. The soft warm bread with a tasty filling doesn't leave anything to desire. All in all our experiences were great. The food feels homely even if you haven't had central asian cuisine, it's tasty and it has its uniqueness and warmth about it which makes us try it again.

This was my first time ordering from Skazka! And I was not disappointed! Borsh was nice! In the potato vareniki they should not put funel- it spoils the taste! The plov and meat with mushroom was good, but not too much of meat in both :) and the plov meat super dry. Blinckiki with cheese are nice and so is venigret. Cabbage leaves as well are quite tasty!

Ужас полный. Заказал фрэш. Его привезли мне в бутылки из под воды. Я конечно все понимаю, но откуда мне знать что бутылка не из мусырки или же из нее кто то пил а потом решил мне туда мой фрэш залить. Ресторан «отмазался» тем что у них якобы закончились спец.стаканчики для этого. Вообщем аппетит этот момент испортил однозначно.

Food is amazing. But i received the order after one hour and 45mins. The staff in the restaurant said that they are very busy with orders and that our location is any way very far (umm suqeim 3). I think it is quite rude to say that to a client, and if they cannot handle the load then they should not offer the service.

We've been in Skazka many times. People who lived in USSR or was born in any CIS countries will definitely need to visit that restaurant at least once. If you miss good old days in any ex-USSR countries you have to visit and taste those dishes. You can order anything from the gloriest period. I would personally recommend Shuba salad and Kholodets, kebab varieties are also good.

Skazka is an Uzbek run Russian restaurant in Cluster M, JLT. Its interior is a little unkept and untidy, resembling those inconspicuous family-run restaurants mobsters and mafioso eat at in the movies. We had the bonus of a bunch of bulky Russian hit-man types having lunch there when we visited. Their presence added a little drama and thrill to the ambience, our melodramatic imagination automatically averting our eyes every time they’d look in our direction.

First time I order from this restaurant. First of all food came exactly after 2 hours. They delivered the food in another location. Delivery boy didnt have even balance to call us. We called him all the time and the manager also. After so many times saying food is on his way wait 3 minutes food came already late and cold. And the manager was nt picking the phone even after we got the food. Second food was the worst I have ever eaten. 1. Chicken soup 60% was water without taste and salt. Only 3 pieces of chicken was inside and rest all potato and noddles. 2. Dumplings with cottage cheese. This one was sweet and not cooked properly. They didnt even send a spicy sauce for that bt only nt chilled yoghurt and minced tomato. 3. Pies with meat. Not properly cooked at all from inside and with a small piece for of meat. 4. Cabbage Rolls with minced meat. Totally over cooked and full of oil. 5. Greek salad. Was good but very small portion. Everything is obvious from the photos. Wanted to try sth new but ended to be the worst experience and food quality.

i should have listened to the review before order polav with meat - they charged 27 dhs and delivered something which is not even worth 10 dhs, some rice lot of oil and meat less than 2 to 3 dhs inside the rice, wont ever order again, high price but food not worth unless they improve their standards

Delivery time not great, took more than an hour. But then again I live nearly 30 kms away, so I'll forgive that. Ordered beef steak with eggs and the meat Dumplings. Beef steak was not what I expected... More like fried corned beef patties. Dumplings were nothing to write home about either. Ordered also the Kompat juice. That was fresh tasting and refreshing. Will not be ordering from here again though. Not worth the money IMHO.

This is an amazing place that serves you relishing food at an affordable rate. I personally would recommend meet cabbage and beetroot which is healthy and a lot fresh. The staff is polite and friendly and as always around taking good care of the meal

A really good friend took me here to try out some dishes from their home country. I was shocked as she ordered a lot. I tried everything which names I forgot. Food: 4/5 Most of the dishes remind me of our own home dishes, which I miss as well. It's simple and very straight-forward but speaks awesome to your mouth. Service: 3/5 The server wasn't really attentive but partly because we went there after 3:00am so maybe he was tired or just plain sleepy. Place: 3.5/5 The interior's fine. It looks like you're in an old diner somewhere in Russia or Kazakhistan and I was expecting an old motherly server to appear but it never happened. Value: 4/5 If you are hungry and need a quick food getaway with your Russian-speaking friends, then you have your place. At least they know what to order or not.

Service was good, but the kitchen was very slow in bringing our food out. Also, the waiter forgot to punch in one of our orders, which got us a bit upset. The kebab was good. The fries were OK.
