Amazing Persian Food, I tried the flavored chicken with a combination of rice,mayo sandwich and a fruit cocktail. The service was speedy and excellent. The quality of food and taste both were excellent.

This is an awesome place, we had a great time here. Quite reasonable and very delicious Persian food. We ordered for the chicken boneless and sheesha. The ambience is cool and service great.

This is the second visit in coochini restaurant in al Rigga. This time we ordered Persian Mix kabab. Their skewer kobideh chicken is excellent and chicken tikka Ali good
i placed an order through zomato fir curriousities sake and it made more curious to visit the place to try the in house feeling. one of the best kubideh in town and fantastic bone in chicken kabab....cant wait to enjoy the in house feeling. btw, the food was delivered hot much warmer than you would get served in most restaurants. sad didnt take pictures of smoking rice😊

And now for something completely different – an Iranian restaurant with a full-fledged bar. I kid you not. And before anyone says anything about Anar having a bar, let me assure you, this is in a different league altogether. Named after a 70’s nightclub in Tehran, Coochini is like no other Iranian restaurant I have been to before. In fact it’s designed more like a funky nightclub than a restaurant, with a custom built stage and dedicated lighting the live music they have every night. It’s just so far out I’m still digesting the concept – it’s what you’d expect an Iranian restaurant to look like if the revolution hadn’t happened. Hmm.
The food is surprisingly good and quite different from the predominantly South Iranian biased flavours most Iranian restaurants in Dubai serve, and that’s mainly because the owners of Coochini are from the Caspian Sea city of Rasht in the North and their Chef is from Tehran. I could tell the Northern influence the second I bit into my Tikka Masti, which indecently was amazing. And then there are the lunch offers – please try and appreciate this for what it represents – you can have any main on the extensive menu and an alcoholic drink or shisha for AED60. Imagine that, Chelo Kabab and a pint of beer…OMG!
Based where Entrecote once was at the al-Khaleej Palace Hotel, I am told Coochini really comes into its own at night, with Iranian, Uzbek, Russian and Arab artists invited to perform live from 20:00 until 03:00 when the bar closes. I have not been at night and therefore have to limit my comments till after I have done some boy’s night out research. That said, Coochini is an amazing place to visit for breakfast and lunch. I intend on bringing my friends and family here this Friday to experience first-hand what kabab and draft beer tastes like.
A quick, last word for the Iranian community, Coochini offers Kaleh Paché (sheep trotters) round the clock and even has Shomali delicacies like fresh Eshpell (fish roe) and a very special Ghalieh Mahi on Fridays. Bah Bah!
Waste NOT, Want NOT.
Our family (4 adults and 5 teens) happened upon this restaurant, looking for a quick lunch. We were very pleased to have found this spot. They had a nice lunch special for AED 60 which was perfect for us. The serving size was very large and the service was very good. We would recommend this restaurant!
Today I didn't have breakfast with me and I order online from Coochini thru Zomato.
I ordered an omelette and a pancake. Wow impressed the quality and the taste not forgetting the speed of receiving my order. Thank you very much. I will be your regular customer from now on 😃
I have already visited this restaurant 2 times. The food quality is very good and quantity is too good. They have sheesha for breakfast as well. Nice vibrant place. Staff is very approachable and friendly. It's not a very crowded place so consider it if you are looking for some privacy ;)
