Hot pot is a Chinese cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foodstuffs and ingredients. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table, in a manner similar to fondue. Typical hot pot dishes include thinly sliced meat, leaf vegetables, mushrooms, wontons, egg dumplings, tofu, and seafood. The cooked food is usually eaten with a dipping sauce.

Lovely filipino-chinese place in the bustling Satwa area. Went for the A La carte option instead of the buffet spread. The seafood soup and the fried wantons were yum. Same with the Chicken sizzler which was a combination of noodles and succulent chicken. The meal box is ideal for a single person as you can get a combination of veggies, chicken, fish n also a pudding. The tofu in schezwan could have been a bit better. But overall I loved the place and would visit again.
My partner and I are frequent customers of HOPO Asian Restaurant. Aside from being close to where we stay this place is really very satisfying. The price of their buffet, buffet spread, cleanliness in the place, fast and warm service, all of these are met. It may not be the fanciest in terms of its decor and location but those factors are all superseded by all the other vital points guests will look for! We will always come back to HOPO that is one thing that can’t be superseded :))
My husband loves to eat Shabu shabu so we tried this Hot Pot and he was not disappointed. Its very Tasty . We also love their crispy beef and chicken fried rice. Ambiance is clean . Good price as well. Worth a visit esp when your really Hungry!😜 some of their staff are not very accommodating but maybe they’re just tired.😊
Tried out HOPO for a late lunch with the family. It was 1400 and most of the tables were taken. I really like the ambiance but the lights were to yellow to take photos.
We ordered the Hot Pot that was good for 4-6 persons. The server suggested that we get the half and half soup so at least we could have the spicy and regular broths. There were 14 kinds of "ingredients" that you can put in your hotpot and rice is also included in the combo. Watermelon is also served to finish the good meal.
The soup was just okay but the plus point is that they refill it! I am a salty eater so I just mixed my own sauces and everything tasted really well. I'm giving HOPO a 4 because I really really enjoy hotpots and it's very affordable. I just don't like where it's situated. :D
I am a hotpot lover and my friend recommended me this place,during my first time here I am with my friends and my husband,i really love the ambiance,the price was really good for the quality of food,the food was really tasty,i love the unlimited shabushabu and their buffet,unlimited drinks as well and so inlove with the desserts especially the unli peaches!49aed for unli shabushabu,drinks,buffet and desserts was really reasonable and worth to pay. Me and my husband kept on coming back here,it was a very nice comfort zone for us!Highly recommended♥️
We tried their unli hot pot buffet for 49ead per pax. We went here in the evening time. We wanted to try their barbeque set menu but unfortunately its not available that time. The viand for the menu is lesser than the hot pot buffet but the food is average taste. The ambiance are good the staff are okay too. They are alert and attend to your needs.
Definitely is the pearl of the Manila building and two things that is very clean restaurants and affordable prices, service crews and manager very polite and friendly soft-spoken welcoming accommodating, promotion they have lunch @39 and lunch combo meal 12and 16,dinner they will offer 10 %discount if you are visiting them frequently, combo hotpot available @49,88,138differnt sizes. Any one can try when you are in the area also they have very nice package for parties.

during my this weekend visit,on Thursday dinner 29 March,it was totally crowded packedup, we order combo hot pot of 88 ,crispy fried beef, BBQ platter , seafood fried rice, all the food was delicious,staffs was very much accommodating,polite and courtesy full.ambiance very nice More over I liked the sound system.
one thing, I would like to praise about the Indian manager,he is jolly, Cool,polite very friendly. And I observe about his interaction with the ppl. Before I was surprised why the Hopo was overcrowded while other restaurant is so-so, now I understood it's because of that fellow.
by the way I am also a hotel worker.

I usually not eating seafood but this time is exceptional, i went with my workmate. We ordered the combo deal wich is 49aed with some seafood and veggies. We ordered additional crabs balls (dont remember the name) it’s taste so good. We also like the sauce wich is peanut sauce with crushed peanut put some chilies, perfect with the food 👌👌👌. Ambiance is ok 👌 with the dim light 💡.
Will surely comeback and try other food 😉.
Wonderful place, love the ambiance. Visited with friends to try something new, all of us love the food. Ordered hot pot and fried rice. Food was awesome specialy crab balls and the peanut sauce with chilli. Good value for money. Good staff. Will surely go back.
New restaurant in Satwa, Good service. Ordered for the Hotpot for 2 and vegetable spring rolls. Value for money was great. The soup in the hotpot could have been more seasoned for my feedback. Will be visiting again to try their Ala carte items
It was just so-so for the price it was a disappointment it wasn't as good as the other restaurant i've eaten. But well if it's your first time to try this dishes it will be fine. Because we usually eat something like these dishes, when we're out that's why my expectations was higher. But for the interior and the staffs it was still a good experience.
This hidden gem is located at the entrance of Manila Plaza in Satwa I often walked past and wanted to try the hotpot .it comes with a 49Dhs package for one that includes a buffet, soft drinks, a desert buffet, even the hotpot Items we can take as much as we like,the restaurant will charge you 20dhs for food wastage..i loved their hotpot..the best I had in a long time.every bowl of soup will tasted unique...everything is fresh and delicious.
Three weeks ago, we visited Satwa and saw this HOPO restaurant. We swear that we're going back to try their main dish which is hotpot. We went back exactly December 25 to have lunch good for three. I will definitely give two thumbs up for the interior! even you're just outside the resto, you'll be amazed and get curious what this restaurant could offer. We ordered the 88 dirham hotpot only, though it didn't reached my expectation yet it's satisfies my cravings. The girl in the counter is friendly but the food attendant who assisted us is a bit poker face.
I liked the concept of hotpot meals. We ordered for the hotpot combo which enough for 1-2 people. A good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian offered with a variety of sauces. A good experience
I could just imagine the expenses, the stress , the exhaustion that it takes to open a new restaurant, and I really do feel for the owners and would want them to succeed in their new ventures.
One place deserving of such fate is Hopo , which I could only surmise as a wordplay for hotpot which is their main offering. We availed of their buffet which already includes the hotpot, and very few other pre-cooked dishes and drinks. They could improve on their drink and dessert offerings , but its not a dealbreaker as their hotpot is already a very good deal with lots of ingredients on offer.
The place is nice and the service cannot be faulted- so do visit them once you pass by Satwa!
Hopo Asian Hotpot restaurant is one of the best restaurant I visited in Dubai!! Especially their crispy chili beef I love it awesome! The ambience of the restaurant was so nice it's a cool place to hang out,,the best thing I love is their shabu shabu (hotpot)😊😊 Kudos!!!
i just loved this place, and got to eat some great Authentic Chinese food after a long time. Probably the best HOTPOT restaurant in Dubai, loved the ambiance, staffs are sooper cool. The crispy chilly dry beef was just amazing, of course the HOTPOT buffet was too good and sooper value for money. over in all, it was such a great experience, i was with my Chinese friends, they are sooper happy, and I look forward to coming back again!!
