Now this!
The first golden fork experience I had was when they first opened up at Khorfakkan Corniche, been eating here since I was a kid.
Im very much impressed how they maintained the quality of food over the years and it is pretty good despite challenges I believe they've been facing lately.
We had the Golden Fork Seafood, good for two, and it taste really nice, their staffs are also friendly, you get the soup and toasted buttered bread for every order and that just takes me back, they've always done it that way.
Overall experience is still good, for an all time UAE classic, you got to try Golden Fork out. 👊
Unless I have a terrible experience at this restaurant Im going to give it a 4 I won't ever go below it.
Its one of those restaurants Ive been going to since I was a kid, its kind of nostalgic for me.
I have been to the one in satwa, baniyas and riqqa.
This restaurant has been around for many years, the prices have not increased drastically as far as I remember.
The plating is not GREAT but its not a fancy restaurant at the same time.
I have tried their burgers and they used to be my favorites years ago. The Beef burger and the fish burger. I haven't ordered them in a couple of years so I don't know how they taste like now.
But One of my all time favorites I have to this day is the Seafood Platter.
The chicken tikka is also good.
Whenever you dine it they always give you complimentary soup with butter toast (It used to be more buttery). It is average but because its nostalgic for me I enjoy it.
One other soup Ive always enjoyed was the Bouillabaisse soup. Im pretty sure Its not the authentic version of the soup but Ive never had an issue with the taste.
One of the things they still do is at the end of the service they bring out hot scented towels to wipe your face and hands. They used to be so much better back in the day, they are just okay now.
Free soup and toast bread is a plus. Affordable delicious food. Area is clean and nice. Very accessible to everything. Parking is infront the resto.Chicken adobo and bicol express are my favorite.
The food here is decent and the menu covers items which are light on your pocket. The general ambiance of the restaurant is super quiet with good service from the staff which reflects their professionalism and dedication.
I have been going here(different branches)since I was 4yrs old. So I must say that I'm bound to be biased to the place owing to all the nostalgia. Their signature mixed seafood special soup and the seafood ala pobre sizzler are my favourites. Basically it is a decent place for sea food if you are not expecting too much with the ambience or the presentation of the dish and also goes very light on your pocket. The staff is friendly and (almost)cheerful. Just wait for those scented hot towels before and after the meal- I love 'em.
Good food..service was focused and quality of food was perfect ..lots of option of food to...clean and good atmosphere. .have credit card machine as a payment mode too..just to add on
I like their food and staff how they welcome you and the small towels , its very nice , overall they are good and having a nice menu with some good soups
My husband really wanted to eat their lobster / prawns - that's the only thing he likes to eat at golden fork.. We've eaten there several times...but I can't stand the smell of the place, the chairs and tables are disgusting dated, molded upholstery on the chairs, the so called Chinese cuisine is like awful hospital food.. So he decided to Oder via their delivery service .. It took over 90mins and we're literally a stones throw away from the restaurant!!
*Order wayy in-advance
*I think it was a little pricy (but I guess it depends on the weight of the lobster/prawns etc)
I have not been to Golden Fork for many years so when I came back the other night I was quite looking forward to my authentic Filipino dishes. My friend and I ordered tinolang manok (basically chicken pieces and veggie bits in broth) plus the sari-saring putahe ( mixed grilled- prawns, squid, fish, chicken, aubergine, with shrimp paste and pickled papaya. We liked everything we had so couldn't really complain. 3.5/5
The food attendant (whom unfortunately I didn't get the name) was very friendly and warm. I would give her 4/5 for impeccable service.
Between my friend and myself, we paid 73/- inclusive of small bottle of water and a can of 7up. Price-wise it's 3.5/5 for me.
Location and ambiance, nothing fancy, just tidy and okay in terms of set up. 3/5
Served with noodle soup and butter bread as complimentary. Very kind gesture. Good for seafood. Fresh seafood available to choose and choose the way you want it to be served to you. Do try the seafood platter mix. Served with fries, vegetables and mayonnaise. :)
There is nothing really special about this restaurant, but it is and always will be my family's favorite place to visit. Restaurant is nice and clean, and good customer service. You can order any of the fish dishes, and you won't be disappointed. Just a nice, inexpensive, and simple place.
Golden Fork reminds me of when I first moved to Dubai (a million years ago). Funnily enough everything still looks the same on the inside and the menu also look more or less the same. The Golden Fork I used to visit, a lot more frequently than I care to admit, was in Beniyas. Although I once lived not far from Satwa, this was my first visit to their Satwa branch. To me Golden Fork has always been about seafood with an Asian (specifically Pilipino) twist and value for money. Feeling nostalgic we ordered one of my old time favourites, the Salmon Teriyaki. The deal was that I get the fish and my daughter would get the complementary bowl of soup with buttered toast on the side, as well as all the fries – Little Miss Finicky is not into fish. The Salmon was a little overcooked but well sauced and seasoned and the soup was still as good as I remember. A meal for two for under AED40 – come one, man – that’s pretty amazing value.
Other dishes I would recommend (from memory) are their Sizzlers, as well as their Pilipino dishes. Although nowadays there are plenty of places to get excellent Pilipino food. Service was only oh-hum friendly, but what it lacked in genuineness it made up for in speed. Would I visit Golden Fork again? Absolutely. I’m not pretentious.
Nice and warm restaurant. I have gonE there for breakfast with my cousins everyone love there foods, very friendly staff. Good service.!Thank you

Nice restaurant. Good place to try out Filipino food. The service is also nice. Lacks a bit in restroom cleanliness. Other than that everything is good. I will give a 3.5.
A nice neighbour Restaurant .Tomyumkong seafood soup and oxtail soup is my favorite order. The taste is even better than some fine dining Restaurant. The seafood is freash and in good portion. And the price is really neighbour style.

Summary : Can try out sometimes during a month for some sea food grill ..
One of my favorite sea food low cost places in town .. Very smiley staff welcoming you with the hot wet towel .. We ordered the special soap and the sea food platter .. My meal will not be considered in this place without the amazing complementary soap they provide in the beginning .. Recommended place for limited budget sea food
If you can, only if you can live with that smell. Short staffed but pleasant service. Try fried calamari and shrimps. Avoid chicken stuff - not that popular.
The siopao is very good, its cheap, delicious with enough stuffed meat. The sauce that comes with it is thick, gravy like with a bit of sweetness however sometimes when they are in a hurry they serve it still cold on the middle other than that everything was all good.
Amazing food and good ambience...had to love their chicken Tikka and sea food platter...would go second time to try out other options.
