If your looking for an amazing time Dugout Sports Bar is the place. A good place to enjoy yourself with friends, the staff is very friendly and provides really good service, has really chilled vibes and it's a place to visit for everyone.
Just went with my freinds last night to watch FIFA world � cup semifinal England � vs Croatia � loved the atmosphere amazing � place to enjoy sporting events food � was superb �and enjoyed the drinks � excellent service by the friendly staff ( Betty ) overall had a good time thanks DUG OUT keep it up hope to visit soon again cheers �

This place has become a great local hang out to get away from the hassle of Dubai. The staff are so friendly and are always welcoming. The bar is never over crowded and is always a place to sit. enjoy the pool table. Some times they have heavy metal night which is cool. not many places offer. keep up the good work guys.

King mushrooms in garlic sauce, fish fingers, and Caesar salad with smoked salmon pair up nicely with a beer or two at the sports bar. Has a nice pub like feel to it. Their dugout special platter and the chicken burger are worth a try.
Fantastic ambience with excellent lighting with many screens to watch live sports. Courteous staff and nice place to enjoy drinks with your friends.

Not quite sure how this place has not caught on a hype- came here for the launch event on a whim a few weeks back and haven't been able to stop thinking about it! The serving staff were attentive and you get a basket of bar nibbles while you peruse the menu. Between the two of us we had the tasting platter of calamari, samosa and other Vegetarian options. I'm not sure how others could complain about the small serving sizes- we struggled to finish the platter!
I get the feeling that many patrons come here expecting it to be gigantic, but this is truly pub food done right. It sums up that hedonistic, dude-food Indian diner experience where you want everything on the menu, try to order beyond your limits, reveling in your ingenious decision to eat there. Eating here brings me back to eating in resto-pubs in Mumbai, mixed with the typical sports venue vibe. Yes, you can't eat here all the time because you'll probably die simultaneously from clogged arteries and sheer ecstasy. But that doesn't stop you from living in the moment with the opportunity to drink here every weekend.

I visited Dugout for its Launch event. I loved the ambiance of this Pub, very sporty from the decor to the football symbol being displayed on their Menu and around the Pub as well. The bar was designed to give a modern yet elegant twist to it, it's a fairly long bar with ample of seating space.
Quiet commendable!
There is a pool table at the far end of the Pub for entertainment and seating area around it which is great. The pricing for drinks is also reasonable and for the vibe (mellow) it's a relaxing Pub to visit.
Needless to say, that would have to be the only good cause the food failed to impress me. I was served cold food, which felt like it was pre cooked hours before and then served to us. The chicken on the tasting Platter was hard as rock and the calamari that was served was chewy and rubbery. It was very unappetizing. The nuggets were editable but then again I was extremely hungry so I guess I made do.
I expected more in terms food well atleast food being hot, I mean it was their launch event. (I'd like to think that something went wrong in the kitchen ) kindly keep that in mind when you host events HOT food is key cause it gives a bad first impression!

Impressive interiors and great place to catch a game with group of friends, with strategically located screens.
The drinks were reasonably good. The food options looked limited and tasted quite average and oily. Hoping that changes in the future.

Visited this sports bar. The service was good the drinks are good and the ambiance seems to be lively. They show all the games but their food isn't that great. Seems super undercooked.

Finally new places are opening in the Bur Dubai side of the city. Recently I was invited for the grand launch of Dugout, a sports bar in Grand Excelsior Hotel in Mankhool, Bur Dubai. Due to a prior commitment, I couldn’t attend the launch and last week I visited them to catch up with a friend over few drinks and some pub grub.
A new sports bar in bur dubai , had been for their launch event . Pretty cozy place with live dj, pool table , big screens, cocktails and bites. Price is reasonable and i am sure this place can definitely get a little more better with choice of bites and some interesting cocktails. Kudos to the Excellent service team .
Heard about this new sport bar from a friend, which is in Mankhool area. I found the place to be chic and cozy. The interiors are well done for a sport bar and they have paid attention to minute of the details. The cherry on the cake got to be their pool table and door handle.
Flip side -The quality of food can be tad bit better.
Overall a fantastic experience and a good place to watch live sports.
A very new sports bar open in Bur dubai... it is not very expensive and if you want to go for a game with your friends.. this has to be the place.. you should try out their whisky sour.. it is one of the best... they also have variety of unique cocktails

A live DJ, pool table, Sports screens, and some great drinks and finger food is available.
We had a few teasers and main courses to start with. It was pretty decent.

- Bacardi Carta Blanca (Bacardi)
- Jose Cuervo Especial Silver (Tequila)
- De Bortoli Shiraz Cabernet (Red Wine)
- Pina Colate (Cocktail with rum)
- Virgin Mary (Mocktail)
All the drinks were pretty good except Virgin Mary. Didn't like this much.
Presentation was good and the service was great. The staff are very friendly and accomodating.

My review of Dugout - I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening of this new sports bar in town and I had a great time.
I was able to sample some of the food that went around and it was just regular finger food that was a tad bit too oily. Most of the sports bars that I went to in Dubai had amazing food, and this bar should work on their dishes. I thought that the calamari had way too much batter on it, while the samosas were way too oily for my liking, but the filling was not too bad.
I couldn't try anything else as it was all meat and I requested for some other items to try but the server dismissed me quickly and just brought me another vegetables and dip to the table.
This sports bar deserves a rating of 3.5/5.
The service that I received here was mediocre with one server who glared at me rudely when I asked what other food items are coming out to try. I asked a simple question and I felt like she did not want to be there. This just gave a bad impression of the place for the rest of the night.
The rest of the servers were great at getting our drinks and other things that we needed.
The ambience of this restaurant was energetic with bar seating and lounge seating. The music was played by their DJ, so it was great for those who like to come out to these sports bars to just drink and have a good time. This sports bar is located inside the Grand Excelsior Hotel in the Bur Dubai area.

Dugout is the newly renovated sports bar in the grand excelsior hotel in bur dubai. The venue itself is a little small buy cosy, there are tables as well as seats along the bar. There are screens ensuring you don’t miss any of the sports that they are playing. The ventilation system is not the best as it can get smokey very quick. Being a bar that allows smoking, it is imperative that they have proper ventilation.

Dugout is a great place to catch your favorite sporting event, while you enjoy sipping on a drink or two. I loved their extensive beverages menu and smartly coined snacks menu. The place is tastefully done with fantastic wallpapers.
The staffs were extremely welcoming and made us very comfortable from the moment we stepped in. I'll be looking forward to my next visit here soon.

Good hangout place at the Prime location of the city. Great food and love the screens and the atmosphere over there. Tandoori chicken tikka with chilled beer is a good combination.
