For several years, Sweet Pepper Restaurant is our go to (read: comfort) food stop after going to the church or when we are within the Karama area. This restaurant was the first on this building and on this block and through the years, it has weathered many challenges with the introduction of several other restaurants around it, the onslaught of all the eat-all-you-can restaurants, seafood in a 'this and that', and boodle/banana leaf meals galore. There is nothing fancy in the place, and you can say that it is really plain at best with just some standard seats and tables which can be arranged based on the number of group you have. It started with just several viands to choose from and have grown to more than a dozen selections at one time ranging from the standard friend chicken and chicken meal varieties to beef, fish and seafood smorgasboard. There's always several vegetable meals to add to your main meal and the bountiful soup which varies everyday. On the drinks vending area wherein water, iced tea, and juice is always fully available, you can always go back to re-fill as part of your e.a.y.c. meal and at the end of the table is the so-called "dessert" area wherein you can whip your own "halo-halo" from the selection of sweets (gelatins, beans, sweet corn, sweet potatoes, milk, sugar, etc) to complement your full plate. If your looking for a place with great ambiance, then this place is not for you but if you want to indulge on some honest to goodness Pinoy food that's value for money, then I recommended this for you.
So satisfying. 😊 nice Filipino Food. Affordable, the staff we're nice. Good for the people who missed the filipino food. This is very advisable if your hungry and make yourself full. Keep it up. We will come back for sure.

One of the great Eat All u can Restaurant in Karama. The place is always full at night and some of their patrons are patiently waiting for their turn to dine. For 25 dirhams u can try their buffet and the food varies from chicken, beef, fish, shrimp, crabs etc! With unlimited Ice tea of course.
Good food and good price
Unlimited food for only 25 dirhams. you better go here with empty stomach. they mostly prepare seafood and chicken. I love their calamares and shrimps!
You want to indulge in an eat all you can but you're on a tight budget. No worries, this restaurant offers you a smorgasbord with unlimited iced tea for not more than 30 dirham. Plus you'll get 2 choices of seafood in the buffet, which I personally like. Though the place is small but it's still very comfortable to dine.
If you're on a tight budget yet wanting to make the most out of your money then this hidden gem will probably answer your needs.
FOOD:
Overall, the food was good. You can actually say that you get what you paid for. For a small amount of cash you get to have an unlimited serving of rice, cabbage soup, pancit bihon, fried chicken, calamares, crispy tilapia, sizzling chicken, pinakbet, SHRIMPS, and CRABS. They also provide unlimited Ice tea which are by the way zesty with lemon pulps on it just the way i like it and buko pandan for desserts.
SERVICE:
For buffet goers, It is actually self-service and you need to only use one plate. No left overs are allowed or face the fines. 😂
LOCATION:
The place is near ADCB metro station. It is inside Al Attair center which is basically right next to the ADCB bank.
PRICE:
I went there on a thursday night and the buffet was priced at 28 AED. Not bad for the array of dishes to choose from.
It's completely a good place for buffet. Value for money although compromising the taste a big. Their beef steak is tasteless and then when I landed on the restaurant, there are three pieces of crabs and afterwards, they replenish it with chop suey or stir fry veggies and you hardly see the rest of veggies because it's dominated by cauliflower. In the comments below, they said sweet melon juice although I only experience the bottomless ice tea. Again, still good for AED 25 - unli food and unli ice tea.
This buffet is such a bomb! Cheap price! Delicious food! Specially the fried squid rings, caldereta and the lengua. This filipino buffet is damn great!

Why is everyone so into this restaurant especially at night?
With a lot of restaurants offering buffet dinners, one should never miss this quaint, little restaurant in Karama. I saw this restaurant first when I am supposed to have lunch with my colleagues at Seafood in a Bucket. Interestingly, while we were waiting to be seated, I chance upon Sweet Pepper and was almost eager to grab a plate and devour their lunch.
This Filipino restaurant offers a variety of Filipino food at a very cheap price. Buffet lunch is at AED 18 while buffet dinner is at AED 25. Lunches are normally comprised of beef, a chicken, fish and a vegetable dish - quite a good selection which can delight every Filipino's stomach.
On the other hand, my most recent dinner experience with Sweet Pepper almost had me in a seafood feast. They have expanded their selection to an unlimited helping of shrimps and crabs. I can almost see every Filipino with a plateful and mouthful of these crustaceans. Who wouldn't right?
This place is always a blockbuster at night. Sadly, the place is small hence you will end up with either a soup on your dress or waiting to be seated for at least half an hour (it depends too of course on some days). I wish I was able to take a lot of photos but for Filipinos out there seeking for a new hole to dine in and treat yourselves to a feast, this is one restaurant you should not miss.
Bumped into this resto while getting lost in karama. really awesome taste, and price is really cheap.
Amazing filipino restaurant!!! The food they serve has original filipino taste, very authentic and pure. Their PINAKBIT taste very awesome, unlike other restaurant their pinakbit taste bitter which makes it tastes how it should be. Service is good specially in catering and the price is just right. One of a real deal filipino resto here in dubai.
kaen sakin to!
This is one extra ordinary Filipino restaurant. It has a bursting and authentic flavors in every meal.
Personally love their beef sisig. Staff very very helpful . Would recommend any taste lovers to try it out or try chowking if u prefer decorations and brand more than taste.
