Lazfan Cafe is a lovely place! We recently visited and I fell in love with the theme and decor. You truly feel like you've stepped back in time to what Dubai was like at the height of pearling.
As for the food, the wide variety of Emirati dishes is impressive! Fresh ingredients, dishes made from scratch, and knowledgeable kitchen staff and servers-- all-around amazing. We will be dining at Lazfan Cafe again and sharing the traditional Emirati cuisine with our future guests.
I love this place, we ordered for the lazfan burger and the falafel pizza. Both of these were amazing. I plan to ho again an try out some more of their menu offerings. I recommend this place for its taste ambience and friendly staff. Thumbs up
This restaurant needs to be more famous than it actually is. It's covered by a building and so not visible from the main road but I got to know about this restaurant from a friend of mine. The price is a little too much but the quality of the food compensates for it
Lazfan was a little hard to locate without a google map, but once we got there.. this cute little cafe had our hearts with their decor. Ambiance: The cafe is super cozy with cute interiors. They have really limited seating with some outdoors and some indoors. They also have two chairs cum couches with pillow for you to sit back and enjoy.
Being a food lover and staying in Dubai for so long I really wanted to try out Emarati food. I was lucky for getting an invite from Lazfan Cafe. Lazfan Cafe is an Emarati restaurant in town which is located in Satwa. This cafe is tucked inside the residential building but with the help of google maps it can be found out easily. It has an indoor as well as outdoor seating area. The decor of the cafe have an ancient evolution of Dubai. The colors, seashells, photos everything have its own story. The ambiance is very relaxed and cozy.
I have just been away for a month and there have been numerous restaurant and cafe openings in Dubai, I’ve plans of visiting each and every one of them, one day at a time. Yesterday, I was craving for authentic Emirati cuisine, and decided to check out Lazfan Cafe, a brand new Emirati restaurant in town.

Located at Satwa, this place serves family recipes only and has some of the best Emarati dishes!
Drinks:
- Lemon Mint was refreshing for this hot weather. It was perfectly sweet and sour.
- Coffee Milkshake was decent enough. Nothing too fancy but tasted good.
- Elijh is a special drink and contains a lot of ingredients that seem mismatched but this tasted amazing in this mix. Well balanced.
Starters:
- Mozzarella Sticks were good. Hoped for a bit more cheese in it but nevertheless, it tasted great and well went with the sauces provided.
- Hummus was the best dish out of the lot. It was creamy and so well made that I managed to have a lot of spoons of plain Hummus!
- Falafel was another favourite. Smashed and mixed up, it tasted too good.
- Khaboos was another great one. Freshly made in house, it was soft.
Mains:
- Falafel Pizza was good. Soft crust with tomato sauce topped with Falafel mash. The tomato sauce didn't seem to mix well with it all and tasted out of place but since I love falafel, it worked out.
- Cheese and Zataar is a favourite but the crust was too thin and didn't taste the best.
- Penne Pasta with Meat in Emarati Spices was amazing. The sauce in it with Emarati Spices went really well.
- Turkey Burger was good enough too with fries on the side which was amazing.
Dessert:
- Khanfaroosh is an Emarati dessert. It is a twist to American Pancakes with an Emarati twist. It was pretty good.
The ambiance is okay and the service is good. Their main Emarati dishes are great but need to improve on the twist dishes as it's not the best.

This cafe definitely needs to be more famous than it is. It serves some great food and has equally good service. It is tucked inside a residential building and not very visible from the main road however this gives it no reason to not try it out ! The pricing is a little steep however the quality of the food compensates for this.
We were here for breakfast and enjoyed a scrumptious meal. We started the meal with the signature drinks and called for a Dar Al Maradeed and a Ethanyeh. The Dar Al Maradeed has milk, dates, walnuts, almonds, shoufan, ginger and sweet cumin and has an extremely different and unique taste. The Ethanyeh has green apple, lemon, ginger with date syrup and has a unique taste as well. Both these drinks were fresh and refreshing.
We then called for a Khmeer Jmeira which is the traditional Emirati baked bread served with cream cheese and date syrup. Full marks to this one and loved the way they serve 3 dates with it. We also called for a Baidh and Tomato which was a tomato paste served with fresh bread.
There was also an Omlait with onions, tomatoes, bell pepper, chilli and cheddar cheese. We asked for it without mushrooms. The omlait as they spell it was very good and tasted completely home made. I love Foul and called for a portion. It tasted amazing and the garnish of onions, tomatoes and coriander only enhanced the flavour. What I loved about it was that it was extremely fresh.
We ended the meal with the bestest Date Pudding. It was topped with date syrup and dates, was extremely fresh and soft that it was polished in no time.

I was at Lazfan Cafe today, it was more than excellent. I enjoyed the cafe itself, the place is so cheerful and we enjoyed the Emirati decoration... You can feel that you are in old Dubai with all the sea inspiring feelings. I tried " Date Cake" & it was perfect, I never tasted so soft & perfect in its sweetness like this... I highly recommend it to you to try & enjoy.
