Dishes Tried – Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Haleem
Opinion – Food Guide Official has visited many branches of Karachi Darbar within Dubai. They seem to have become a reputable brand for offering Pakistani cuisine at a pocket friendly pricing by maintaining the food quality. They have a rich history of providing Pakistani cuisine in UAE since its inception in 1973. Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Haleem with hot bread are some of the dishes which we have tasted. Their butter chicken is definitely one of the best in town in terms of quality and price. They are also well known for grills, so choosing Tikka and kebabs would be a great option. Highly recommended restaurant.
A Desi Restaurant chain, which is more economic compare to cooking food at home. It has more then a dozen branched in Dubai, every where taste is maintained.
Haleem is one the best I ever tasted.
Mutton Achari with Romali Roti was delicious.
Good thing Romali Roti that it remains soft even after one day. Only one warm it up for 10 second in Microwave.
Staff are efficient, they are ever ready to give service from helping for parking to bring parcel to customer.
Best in taste and value for money.
One can depend on it, if want to serve guests at home.
The food is excellent as always. My South African fiance and I fell inlove with Mutton Kabab Kadai. I thanked my Pakistani friend who introduced us to that kabab kadai. He is very picky when it comes to foreign foods but this resto's kadai got his heart.. he said that he can even eat it every single day! This is almost our 10th time to order the same exact food haha.. soon to visit the shop. We love Pakistani food! 🇿🇦❤🇵🇰 (you guys save my nights when I cant cook at home haha! You're our to-go dinner)
Mostly we are going here for the breakfast during the weekend. And it was really very very tasty to try Alloo prantha with channa or keema or kaleji and on fridays the sweet also be there. And price is really worth it.
We went to this place and the food is really good. The starters are much better than the main course. However the main course is great too. We ordered chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab for starters and chicken peshawari and tandoori roti for main course.
The chicken tikka ( with bone and boneless) was amazinggggg... I mean it was soft, tender and beautifully grilled to perfection. The mutton seekh kebab was also very good and came along with a gravy. The kebabs were very succulent.
Coming to the main course, the peshawari was brilliant too. Cooked to perfection, with soft roti. In fact we couldn't finish the chicken. Good quantity, Very cheap and super tasty food. Although the ambience isn't that great but who cares when the food is soooo delicious
This place is always in my list when i am looking for affordable perfect desi taste. Loved the bbq items, Biryani, haleem and nihari with some fingerlicking naans. Value for money and easy on pocket.
We visit Karachi Darbar whenever we feel the urge to have an authentic barbeque chicken. Always enjoy having a meal here. We have been couple of times before too. Our favourite here is mostly the barbeque chicken, chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. Love their rotis and raitha too. The rotis are of very big size and its served hot.
Karachi Darbar is the the best Pakistani restaurant I've tried in Dubai thus far, and it rivals Ravi's in my book. The trick for all of these restaurants is to find the signature dishes that the restaurant is known for, rather than order randomly. For example, the grilled meats might be decidedly mediocre, but when you get to some of the other dishes, you might find a true gem or two that draw you back to this restaurant.
In this case, Karachi Darbar has quite a few tasty dishes and is well worth the visit. Like other places, it's low key and inexpensive for Dubai standards. If you want to get your Pakistani food fix, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Last week I visited Dubai UAE and for lunch I went to Karachi darbar restaurant Bur Dubai. I found it very good and I had a taste full. I ordered for famous Haleem. I is good Indian and Pakistani food restaurant in the heart of Dubai.
Its a nice place which gives me remembrance of Pakistani food. Friendly staff. Taste is beyond the praise. But they need to start food delievery. It will be much effective for customers and for them as well. If it starts delievering my stars will boom to 5 😁
Haleem, haleem, haleem. Missing my mornings over here. Will soon going to visit this place again and savour what they are best at (kebabs, Haleem, NIHARI) and list goes on.
kARACHI dARBAR , THE EXPERIENCE was really good , the staff was very homely and the service was quite fast and amazing too. The quality of the food was great.
We ordered Chicken Karahi and Mutton Peshawari and both were cooked perfectly and tasted extremely delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and provide quick service.
Karachi Darbar serves good Pakistani food. Visited this outlet yesterday and ordered a mixed grill platter, butter chicken and tandoori roti. Needless to say the taste of all the items were good and service was also up to the mark. Only thing is that they should look a bit into the cleanliness.
We went there for breakfast with friends. We arrived around 9:45 am and were easily able to find seats in the family area. As it was a Friday but not too much crowd inside, we expected better service. They were slow to take the order. Because we have been regular to their other branches , we luckily knew what to order. We had their kheema, nihari, maghaz, haleem, halwa puri and rotis. All were served hot and was good except the kheema(disappointing taste). We had a chai and lassi to end the meal and was pretty satisfied paying just AED70 for the whole meal. We ve taken a star off the rating for the sad service . But otherwise definite a revisit place.
Want to try authentic Pakistani food? Simply head to Karachi Darbar. Authentic Pakistani cuisine at best rates. Food portions are big. I loved their chicken biryani. Also their flavoured lassi is great. 😊👍
This one was our favourite outlet to try PAKISTANI FOOD every night .. Amazing mutton items . Reaonably priced. Fine dine . Warm and welcoming staff members. Total recommendation!!
Delicious Pakistani food ! They do have family rooms too , very reasonably priced too ! Had ordered their chicken biryani and chicken masala , awesome taste !
Was out for a night put with friends and we were all craving something yummy and homely. So we ended up at the Karachi Darbar in Karama and ordered a Palak Paneer and Butter chicken with a side of roomali rotis and tandoori rotis.
It was divine. I have eatne at Karachi darbar a few times, and I really like how consistent they are with the preparation of their food as well as the simple yet QUICK service.
Great place! Amazing food ! Super affordable !
Great tasting Pakistani food!
This place has a family area and is suitable for large groups. The table service is very quick and they are very well capable to handle a full house!
Highly recommend their haleem, keema, kadai chicken, chicken and mutton biryani.
We ordered Chicken karahi biryani and mutton peshawari All food was packed in presentation packaging and delicious
The masala of karahi and mutton peshawari wss extremely good with a balanced blend of spices the meat was well done and tasty
highly recommended authentic Pakistani food
Just went there for having tea and really one of the best tea you can find out in entire dubai , the place is not so crowded in the day time and also the prices are good enough and pocket friendly...
Karachi Darbar never fails to impress its customer.
Outlet is situated in Karama Souq with a vast parking option.
Indoor/Outdoor sitting options.
Ordered Haleem, Chana paratha and Tea
Food was delicious and Tea can be better.

One of the best Pakistani restaurant in Dubai. I love their Nihari and Peshawari mutton. Quick service. This is not a usual fancy restaurant. But, serves delicious food.
A little bit oily but the taste is worth it , just love the keema mutter with crisp parathas at karachi darbar. Don't go for the set up just for anything on the breakfast menu it will be worth it.
This is one of the first places i had hit after arriving in UAE in 1996 and it used to be in Hamdan colony that time and later shifted to its present location. It amazes me how KC can still continue to serve quality m tasty food still at so very affordable prices ! Keep it up guys, you are a big support for several like me who come to this country seeking greener pastures. Dal, biryani, korma, kebabs, katakat etc...along with their freshly cooked bread is simply outstanding!!!
Awesome me and my friends keep visiting for night out lovely staff they attention towards us is awsome had a great time and roti were smokish hot really awesome thank you...
Just went there recently with friends after work. Ambience was not great but food was good, loved the butter chicken, different taste to it and reasonable rates.
The good experience we order KDR especial mix grill and mutton Peshawari, channa dal fry.
KDR mix grill-5/5 kebab plater was too good
A mutton Peshawari-5/4 test was good but in gravy, there were small bones
Channa Dal Fry- 5/5 I will recommend this dal chumeswari . when you will visit please try channa dal fry.
Pocket friendly and the service was ok not the best one typical Pakistani cuisine restaurant and good selection of authentic Pakistani foods the hot tandoor roti is the best I recently visited this restaurant for my iftar I had Haleem and standard iftar set they served roti along with Haleem and I ordered separately pakoras and samosas and shami kebab over all nice experience but I was little disappointed for shami kebab alone apart from this it was a good experience. They need to improve in their hygienic standard
Price : 4/5
Hygiene: 2.5 /5
Taste : 4/5
Overall : 4/5
Have visited this branch in Karama a couple of times already, love the butter chicken here! It's different and we really like it. Will try the rest soon.
The mutton peshwari here is to die for! It's super oily, but once in a while I dont mind indulging in such sinful pleasures as the taste is worth it! I prefer Tandoori roti with it and my husband likes it with rumali roti.
But I must say the ambiance isn't great. The food is served in neat plates but the surroundings isn't squeeky clean. I am not sure how often the server changes those gloves. If you stay near by, a takeaway is better. But to have the food hot which is recommend, always dine-in.
A Pakistan type meal if you around Karama then the best place to pop into is Karachi Darbar. Since the place located by the market that you would get easy parking.
Food deliverd quickly in 5 min as placed the orders and the food was delicious. Yoghurt mix and salad bowl is a great touch to start with. The place little untidy apart from that rest all are upto the expection.
brilliant every single time
one of my husband 's favourite place to visit for Pakistani food and love their seekh kebab , butter chicken ,haleem and pehawari mutton karhie.
Never thought to review Karachi Darbar ever. It has been 7 years plus we are eating from this place. The food fits in every budget in any circumstances for every class. Karachi Darbar is having its signature KDR gravy in most of its dishes which annoys me , though its tasty :p If you are an Expat and Dying to Eat Good Haleem You can visit this place. They have good Karahi . Peshawri Karahi. But But But the Stars of the Dishes is “ Qeema Paratha “ which you ll get only at breakfast time. If you are missing Maa k Hath ka Paratha Go eat that once and you ll eat Over and Over. From last 7 years it has the same taste. Same taste. Amazing !!!
Want to try something basic and pocket friendly? Go no where, THIS is the place!
What? Aloo paratha and chai
Overall: Their aloo paratha is so freshly made. The aloo is spread till the end of the roti. Topped with a huge chunk of butter on it. Their chai has those authentic masala and it’s perfect blend of all masalas! Your breakfast is definitely sorted if you’re here!
PS. They have a separate section for family!

The best place to have lunch if your on budget, i feel this branch out of all their chain to be a bit better when it comes to food quality, the last time i visited, i had mutton kabab kadai, chicken tikka biryani, and chicken tikka masala! The food was good! If i had any suggestion it would be that the staff there looks so restless and fed up!
One of those restaurants where u can count on getting good food always !!
Love their butter chicken and chicken tikkas the most
Not a great place for dine in as it gets a bit congested in the evenings but if you want gemreat food Karachi darbar is the place to go !!!
I've recently tried the keema paratha and it tastes amazing. Even though I stay pretty far from the restaurant, the food received tasted fresh and hot.
Good service, keep up👍
Love the Chicken Kadai and Roti here. It’s a must have whenever I visit this place (Peshawari Kadai being better). Mutton Seekh Kabab is also highly recommended. This rating is completely based on the taste. Nothing much can be said about the ambiance. The best part is they have one branch in each conner of Dubai and is economical.
Tried the food here as i was starving while in karama. Had their aloo and keema paratha. Also tried their peshawari kadai and tandoori roti. Ambience was average, service was okay but the food was delicious and good value for money.
The best biryani in the town. Giving 4.5 stars for their mutton biryani. Unlike other fancy restaurants they have an average ambiance but for die hard lamb biryani fans this is the place. When ever possible I take my friends there for lunch/biryani. Good service and decent price.
Good and authentic non veg food.
We tried chicken tikka masala and mutton Peshawari.
Mutton Peshawari was a treat however tikka masala was OK, ok.
Must try.
Amazing & affordable place to have delicious Pakistani and Indian cuisine. Peshawari chicken gravy with butter roti was the best. Chicken tikka biryani was tasty too
If you’re not too particular about the ambiance and location of a food place , Karachi Darbar is a reasonable low budget option for eastern cuisine. The food was well presented and was served hot within a decent time period.
I would highly recommend the chili Paneer as it was delicious and can be eaten on it’s own as a main dish if you do not want to order any meat curry along with it.
I didn’t really like the Peshawari karahi which we ordered in the meat option but i enjoyed the chili paneer too much to pay attention to the bland taste of the karahi . Plus there was too much oil floating on the karahi which didn’t taste all that nice .
It was an okay place on the whole and I’m sure come individual options would be really good as per my experience of the chili paneer.
I love the food of this place. Very affordable food and generous. Ambience and service is authentic. Don‘t expect too much. The only thing I didn‘t like was to see how our waiter is using his bare hand touching our salad (even it was in the fridge) and serve at our table. I mean he is touching everything. And I don‘t like the thing that they are serving a bottle of water and a plate of salad without order and charged for it. So you are forced to pay for it even it is only a small anount.
المكان جيد ونظيف وكبير ، ويقدم أشهى الأطباق يمتاز بخدمة جيدة للعملاء ويقدم بعض الحلويات والمكسرات كنوع من الهدايا
