I usually love the food from chef express, however the order I placed yesterday- grilled chicken with mashed potatoes- was really bad that I had to unfortunately throw more than half the food. The grilled chicken was steamed more than grilled, and sorry to say it tasted rotten and not fresh at all. The marination of the chicken was really bad! The mushroom sauce was not sauted with salt or pepper at all, it didn't even help with the grilled chicken to cover up the rotten taste. The asparagus should've been packed separately as it was very soggy and dead to eat. So had to throw that too. The mashed potatoes felt more sticky than mashed and smooth. I was really disappointed that I had wasted so much money and could barely eat any food. The only edible item was the mozzarella sticks which was perfect. This experience has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth! Stick to appetizers and fries - it'll be safe for you.

It's a hidden gem for sure. I was craving some soul food, specifically fried chicken, and decided to order from here for the first time. It arrived on time (approx 35 mins) and the food was fantastic. The chicken was still nice and hot, crunchy and full of flavor. My wife had the buffalo wings and said they were great, even tho she normally goes for a spicier taste. All in all, will order from here again for sure.

I ordered for buffalo wings, dynamite shrimps, cajun burgers with some sweet potato fries for delivery and the way the food was packed really shows the care and love put towards the food and customers. To top it up my eyes first ate the food with such beautiful colours and presentation. The food quality and quantity is worth paying every dirhams. I ordered because the rating was this high but we were surprised that the food was average!<br/><br/>Ordered the mushroom and cheese burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was nice but the patty was pretty dry. I would have liked if they cooked it less and left it juicy rather than dry. Meat tasted nice though so shame it was dry! Shisha is ok. Ambience is not much. Parking is a nightmare. But those burgers. Those heavenly juicy moist tasty burgers. Beats most higher priced burgers any day. Personally i have never been to this place.For me if it's like late night cravings i know where to order.There Mexican burger with egg and cheese taste so good specially the green mexican sauce they use in it.Apart from that i have tried chicken wings they are also pretty decent.Love to visit this joint for chef's special.

So the order of an appetizer took more than 1 hour to be delivered! If I ever want to order again and if it is a main course I will make sure to order 2 hours before I plan to eat it so that it gets delivered right on time.

The overall food quality is excellent and the staff is also friendly. I ordered the chicken santa fe burger and oreo milkshake. The taste was excellent, the burger was juicy and had a good character to itself which differentiates itself from other burgers. Burger was worth the price. Parking is a very big problem and the overall restaurant ambience is poor. The fries were also pretty decent. Would recommend this in terms of food.

Have ordered buffalo wings and crispy chicken Fillet meal. I loved buffalo wings n ranch sauce. It was spicy and the chicken pieces was juicy. Fries was so crisp and they delivered it super hot. So was in the mood for a burger and this placed popped up on Zomato. With the additional 20 percent discount it was enticing me to order. I opted for the mozarella sticks, chicken wings and the chicken Cajun burger adding an egg to it. The mozarella sticks was average nothing to write about. It was a bit too hard maybe a product to having it delivered and the marinara sauce also wasn't great. The wings were excellent. They were so juicy with the right amount of sauce which made it really enjoyable. Great job. Two pieces of advice though; one don't put the celery sticks in the hot box it makes it soft and celery is supposed to be crunchy. Two the blue cheese suace with the wings was too watery also not required when you have such awesome wings. The Cajun burger was ok also. It was missing seasoning and the Swiss cheese did not go with it. Also it was melted into the takeaway box so need to improve that. Over all a good restaurant to get your junk order fix.

Tried their media city branch and I came across the international city one too when I was there so I figured I'd have lunch from there. Must say, their interiors are pretty beautiful and appealing.<br/>We ordered the Mexican burger with jalapeños and spicy sauce. The burger was just as good as the one I tasted in their other branch, good consistency. Also later at night I got a Chocolate milkshake which I absolutely loved so much, perfectly chocolate-y and not loaded with sugar.

They have great food qualities. I love their Burgers especially the Fahita Burger. Their staff are very professional. I truly recommend them.

Visited this place during lunch , decided to go for the chicken quesadillas & chicken mushroom and cream . It was served within 15-20 mins . Honestly the quesadillas were really very good it also had sour cream and guacamole with it . The other dish was strictly ok as the chicken was dry and the veggies were not fresh at all . So it was somewhat a let down . Ambience wise the place is good and the staff people are decent .

After reading through some reviews I decided to order dynamite shrimp and country dried chicken. The food was delivered on time and taste was quite good. The taste is almost close to any high end restaurant. My only disappointment was the quantity. The dynamite shrimp is charged 40 AED but included only 5 pcs with very little salad. And in the other item the 2 chicken breasts were large enough but the portion of rice and steamed veggies with it could be better. On the whole 4 stars for taste but 3 stars for price.

Worst experience I have ever had...I use to order regularly and good and service was great .. Today I order my food round 2am (a boneless wings and beacon burger) Driver turn up with two cheese burger which is wrong, I call restaurant and they said they will send another driver back and he took both the burger promising he will be back, 1.5hr still waiting for the food, then he turn up saying they don't have bacon burger replace it with cheese burger( it sound like he make the order for me) if I want cheese burger i would if order that.. I ordered the Chicken mushroom and cream. OMG it is the most delicious chicken dish I have ever had. I have no words that can describe how amazing this dish is. Thumbs up chef express keep it up.

A peaceful little tucked away corner with neatly done up wallpapers, perfect lighting, cosy seating. To top it up, great finger food (crunchy fries), refreshing coffee (though it was a little too milky) & friendly staff. A pack of cards to keep you going when you run out of conversations even at 1am in the night, this place is a must visit if you are around the corner. p. s. how can I forget the strong pan flavoured sheeisha, one of the smoothest iv had in town recently.

This place has nice ambience if you're sitting outside; especially if the weather is cold. <br/><br/>We ordered a Triple chef. It is a dish which contains buffalo wings , mozarella sticks and nachos. The nachos had too much of toppings which made them soggy. The sticks and wings were good though. <br/><br/>The service here is very slow. Even calling the waiter is a task if you're sitting outside as most of them are attending to customers inside.<br/><br/>The Shisha was ok. <br/>The Coal kept going off every 10 mins and the guy had to come to change it. <br/><br/>We also had a coffee later. After reading all the reviews I decided to order from chef express and I've not looked back since! The food is amazing apart from the salads which I found disappointing for the price! The burgers are a must try! Loved their fish and chips too. Tarter sauce can be tweaked to be less sweet. Delivery is quick!

As students who study in academic city and are always looking for good sheesha places, my friends & I were very delighted when we stumbled across chef express. <br/><br/>First of, we found the interiors of the place quite interesting & fascinating. We definitely did not expect it to be as good as it turned out to be, so it was quite a pleasant surprise. <br/><br/>We had such a good experience at Chef Express in regards to the food, sheesha & service that is has now become one of our favorite spots to visit in our spare time. <br/><br/>By now, I have tried a variety of dishes & sheesha flavors and they all have turned out to be satisfactory. I mostly choose to have their beef burgers as they are juicy and full of flavor. My favorite is definitely the BBQ Ranch Burger. Under 30 min<br/><br/>Spaghetti was normal and portion was smaller than other restaurants. <br/><br/>BBQ Burger was nice but too expensive for its taste <br/><br/>Chicken Fajita was EXCELLENT but little wraps. <br/><br/>3 people after all that were still hungry. <br/><br/>Will we order again? Not sure especially because the pieces are quite high. <br/><br/>Recommend bigger portions and promotions or discounts. <br/><br/>Overall good<br/><br/><br/>

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally dropped by. Nice set up. There is a sheesa area and a non smoking area so sat at the non smoking area and ordered the mix plate of appetizers, country friend chicken and a salad. The portions are huge . Salad was nice , buffalo sauce needed with everything . The fried chicken was good as well but again portion was enormous.

Good quality food at reasonable price in this area... delivery time is also good. Crunchy fries. Onion rings n burger r must try............

One of the best hangout spots in IC. No doubt. They have the best offers. Recently had an offer for a free sheesha along with a burger. <br/>Foods unique. Staff is very friendly and nice. Sheesha is good. What more can one ask?<br/>Craving their Bacon Burger as I write this review🙃

Got lucky to have found this joint on Zomato, had an option of getting stuck in peak hour traffic or choose a place to chill in for some much needed relaxation. Had some soothing mint sheesh and tried their killer buffalo wings. Do check them out. <br/><br/>-- A drop of ink may make a million think. <br/>@AyaashPaw

The first few times I have ordered from Chef Express I was pleasantly surprised. The food arrived on time and was fresh and hot. Unfortunately my most recent experience was not as good.<br/><br/>I had ordered loaded potato skins, a mushroom burger and a bacon burger. Upon opening the box of the loaded potato skins I had found that half of the potato skins were over turned with the cheese absolutely everywhere, almost as though the delivery guy did a few circus loops before arriving. The fries were also soggy. Both the burgers had a funny smell. The buns were soggy as well and I have no other way to describe it but the meat smelt like a goat in a barn. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again. Restaurants need to realize, all it takes is one bad experience to lose a customer. Try to maintain the quality of your food. I may give Chef Express another shot but only way down in the future.<br/><br/>UPDATE:<br/><br/>The manager of Chef Express contacted me, expressing his regrets that I had a bad experience from my previous order with Chef Express. He requested that I give Chef Express another chance and order again which would be completely free of charge and if I am satisfied, to reconsider my review of Chef Express which is what I am currently doing.<br/><br/>The food came exactly within an hour and everything was in proper order. Very well parceled and handled with the food still being hot and subsequently fresh.<br/><br/>I placed an order for the following:<br/><br/>Loaded Potato Skins – Finally! The Potato Skins were as I remembered the very first time I ordered from Chef Express. They were perfect. The cheese wasn’t everywhere with bacon bits missing from some of the potatoes this time. The only change I would make about them is perhaps use real cheddar cheese rather than the melted cheese that comes on top. It was still delicious though.<br/><br/>Triple Chef – Everything was great, the nachos were crunchy as were the cheese sticks although, the chicken wings I didn’t much care for but that is only my preference as they had more of a spicy tang flavor to it than what I am used to with wings.<br/><br/>Mushroom Burger – It’s hard to come by a good mushroom burger, I’m happy to say that Chef Express did not disappoint. The burger was the perfect thickness of patty and the buns were golden brown with a little crisp to it which is just what you want when you bite down into all the layers of a juicy delicious burger. Suffice to say, I was quite happy with the burger and washed it down with a delicious Vanilla Milkshake.<br/><br/>Fajita Trio – I really saw the effort the chefs took into taking extra care of putting together some great juicy pieces of shrimp, steak and chicken in this dish. Cooked to perfection and packed with absolute flavor! I was afraid it wasn’t going to arrive hot. Although obviously not sizzling when it arrived it still was very hot and the most delicious item on the menu that I have tried from Chef Express so far. Even if you are not a Fajita lover, give this dish a try and I guarantee it won’t disappoint.<br/><br/>All in all, a return to form. I also appreciate the fact that the manager called me to express his apologies. It shows a restaurant really striving to be better and has care for each of their individual customer’s satisfaction which is sadly rare for a lot of restaurants in Dubai.<br/><br/>Well done, Keep it up Chef Express!

Amazing ambience and surroundings. Service offered also was very good and rapid. Friendly staff. Ordered triple chef which had buffalo wings (3 peices) , mozzarella sticks (3 peices) and ultimate nachos . For 44 dhs. Food was good and satisfying your hunger👍@anam

We ordered from Chef express at work. Massive burgers , potato skins and crunchy chips. My friend ordered the roast beef burger for me which was massive and according to me tiresome, almost as if the beef is processed , although it might not be. I would have preferred a normal chicken or beef patty burger. My friend ha the chicken burger which was apparently very nice. The loaded potato skins were not exceptional , just ok . The crunchy crispy fries were awesome though . It was a very filling meal . Will visit to try other stuff . With Vicki Louise Wain

Ordered few days back from this restaurant, it was well packaged. I actually liked the cheese burger but the fries needed more crisp. Cheesecake is fine. Overall not a bad decision if you're craving a burger.

Randomest llace to visit but great. Had a cheese burger, crispy fries, and new york cheesecake. Burger was delicious, I felt it could match a burger from ShakeShack/ burger fuel/ johnny rockets etc. The crispy fries were a pleasant surprise- deep fried deliciousness..not very impressed with the cheesecake. It felt a bit rubbery..great value for money. 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 waters and a cheesecake for 95dhs. Will revisit.

I have to say, it is much smaller than the pictures make the place seem and we almost drove by it without noticing it. But the fresh and delicious food compensated for that.<br/>We ordered a veggie burger and chicken strips. According to my vegetarian friend the veggie patty wasn't all that great and she ended up removing it half way through her burger. Luckily for the double egg and cheese. I LOVED my chicken strips they were so fresh and I could tell they aren't just the frozen type so it was great! Cheese fries = Delish! Though of course they get soggy.<br/>Shisha was just average - either there was too little coal and the guy wouldn't pass by fast enough then he ended up burning it by placing humongous coal pieces.<br/>Servers were very polite and accommodating.<br/>

nice food in international city, it is one of the most popular restaurants at  international city, food and service both are good.worth a try..

19/08/2015 9.30pm. I was searching for a decent place to hangout in international city & found this awesome place. After reading decent reviews, finally we went there. To start with, the ambiance & decor was excellent. We ordered shisha & buffalo wings, shisha was nice and the wings were ok, it was crispy but bland when I took a bite. Then came their famed burgers. I must say they have one of the best burgers in town. Chicken Santa Fe burger is must. We ordered cocktail and orange juice which was decent. Our server MR. SAJID specially prepared juice for me, which had strawberry,orange,apple, this cocktail is the best I have had till date, totally loved it. <br/>A good place to hangout with free wifi, a little pricey but once you visit them you won't mind the price and will definitely enjoy.

Excellent food. I had the mushroom burger. A lovely juicy burger obviously home made. I would guess portobello mushrooms as the flavour came through with cheese in a nice bun, together with skin on fries (perhaps could have been a little crisper) and a vanilla milkshake. The service sadly was not good. I walked in and sat down and waited for a menu, had to ask to place an order, food was delivered and waitress left, no one bothered to communicate with me until I asked for the bill. I could accept this if the place was full but i was the only customer and i almost felt guilty for taking them away from theirs mobiles

Ok After a long wait and lot of review reading... Me and my wife decided to try this place.<br/>Firstly the Ambience of the place is superb.<br/>Dim lights and comfortable sofa..<br/>Coming to food we ordered Dynamite Shrimps, Chicken Fajita, and Crispy Chicken Fillet Burger..<br/>Have to say Dynamite Shrimps are too good.. The tangy sauce just brings a Dynamite of flavours. But the quantity let's you down, taste cover for the same ;)<br/>Chicken Fajita served like a sizzler tastes good.<br/>Crispy Chicken Fillet Burger was also good. The Fillet goes with the name crispy. Every bite is crispy.<br/>Overall good food and a good place to hangout.<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Service 3/5<br/>Price 3/5<br/><br/>P.S go back for the Shisha and Deserts next time.
