Decent and consistent tea. You must pop by this small cafeteria when in Satwa just to get a feel of 'Rainbow kee karak chai'.

Best part is that he has been consistent in his taste and presentation.....dont forget to sprinkle some cardamom powder before you sip in......saffron tea is another decent offering they have.

Such perfection! The 1 dirham tea is just on point. So rich and creamy. This is my go-to tea stop. I haven’t tried their other teas or anything else on the menu. I come here specifically for their 1 dirham tea and it’s the best.

How glad am I that my friend introduced me to this place! Mind blown by their simple cheese and zaater manakeesh.. so thin but crispy and tasty.. Have it with their chaai, cannot beat this combo! Also tried the egg and cheese manakeesh, slightly less salty but tasty nevertheless..

Best place to enjoy karak chai!

Karak is everywhere but this place serves it with
strong leaf flavor and it’s right next to a big parking lot to hang out and chill with your chai ❤️

Keep visiting this place for some doze of authentic karak every now & then.

Also have tried thier pastries like zataar, zataar-cheese & labneh. Well, not the best ones but not bad either. Its been more of hit & miss kinda experience.

Definately, good place for pick & go karak. As you have the luxury of delivery right at your car. #yupiee

Popular tea spot in Satwa with parking sometimes an issue so expect to find cars double parked getting their fix of tea. The regular tea is particularly good and mind you it's 2 dhs compared to other places that charge 1 dh. But .... it's worth it.

Good place for tea if you're ever in the Satwa area.

A small shop in satwa for Arabic food. You can drive through and take away the food as they don't have place to dine in. They are famous for their karak chai and  manakeesh varieties. Don't under estimate by the looks, the food is awesome. If you spend some time there, you will come to know the popularity of this shop by the people visiting this place. Parking space is available there.
Tried Zaffrani Tea, horlicks milk ,  Honey & Cheese pastry,  manakeesh chicken and meat with cheese . Everything was really good and with low prices. If you are a food lover of Arabian cuisine, you should definitely try this place.

This place is definitely a must for your true Dubai experience. They have amazing Karak Tea at the honk of a horn!!! The Honey & Cheese pastry is amazing too! Don't be surprised by the honking of horns, it's just the locals stopping by for a tea on the go!

The karak chai is delicious. The manakeesh might be the best in the city. But my favorite is the cheese and honey pastery. I promise, it's a little piece of heaven.

If you want to taste the heaven of Arabic cuisine which is menakeesh you must definitely order from Duniya al Shyaam. They have the softest bases for the menakeesh and to top it up the cheese used for their dishes is absolutely lip smacking. Their zatar is spicy but not too spicy and their prices are totally worth the fare. By far a must order restaurant. The delivery guys are sweet and the packing is neat.

Zaffrani Tea @ Dunya Al Sham, Al Satwa - I am not a daily tea drinker but with things getting a bit nippy here in DXB, I don't mind a cup here or there. I had stumbled upon this place last week and since then I have been here thrice. Its literally a hole in a glass wall but its super popular !! In a space of 5 minutes I must have seen at least 25-30 cups of zaffrani, ginger and sulemani tea been dispensed. If you like your teas - do give it a shot. Definitely better than Filli cafe !!

This place is always packed with local crowd. They are popular for their teas and manakeesh. They have wide variety of manakeesh and I’ve tried Cheese, Cheese-Chilli and Zaatar Labneh. The manakeesh are just amazing in taste. But my favourite was Cheeseee!! SO YUM!! All were freshly prepared and priced merely at 5dhs, which was a great deal. Not to forget, you can even try their Karak chai and Zafrani, they are pretty good.

I love Duniya Al Sham, they do very good manakish. One of the best in Dubai. As you can see in the pic I added, looks so yummy, I added the tomatoes and the olives. They also have the Emirati pancakes that is also so yummy. And not forgetting the karak tea that all people come from all around Dubai to drink it there.

I Have tried cheese manakeesh, cheese zaatar manakeesh and cheese chilli manakeesh. All the manakeesh are freshly prepared and are very tasty. It is a very spot for evening and midnight snacks.

Read about this place in a blog and decided to check it one when we found ourselves in Satwa a couple of nights ago.

The chai is fresh and the service is quick. You can try a variety of chai for 2 AED which is a bargain for Dubai. Tried the elaichi and zaafrani chai. They were pretty good.

Note - there is no seating area and most people drive by and pick up their chai in the comfort of their cars.

This is what you call a hidden gem for Karak chai!

They have a small window from which they serve. Two men run around between the fancy cars to take the orders.

Service is super quick and at AED 2 for a sizeable portion of Karak chai topped with saffron and elaichi you can't go wrong! Check it out of you already haven't. Just be warned there is no inside seating so summer months standing outside drinking tea means you will be dripping sweat 😊

This area has always been the hang out spot for many guys (the smokers will understand :p) . Anyways I have been having karak tea from here for a Loong time and always take my friends here when ever we are in the area. It's a small shop where you just order takeaways and have it at ur car or wherever you will comfy. It's a really good place for tea. Have not tried the food there so I cant say anything about that but will surely try. Don't Mind the staff though sometimes they are actually very busy and Do not have time to serve everyone at once.

Because there are other famouse shops like cafeterias and smoking centres the place is often crowded and it takes time to reach the parking area.

Drive across the 2nd December St. / Al Mina Road, and you may easily miss this place, but approach Ramada Jumeirah, the local outlets are hard to miss

The first look is highly deceptive, but approaching this place amidst a queue of luxury cars will make you realize how popular this small tea vendor could be.

Favorites in beverages - the most popular Zafrani chai and Sulaimani chai with real mint leaves.
Suprise elements - Try the Kashmiri milk, Hot Chocolate and... wait for it... Zaatar Chai (yes!) ... may give the Filli's, Tim's and Starbucks a run for their money.

Most of their popular eatables are available after 6:30pm, and you'll love the Cheese and Cheese / Zaatar Akawi, although the waiting time for your order to be ready is 15 minutes or more.

Duniya Al Sham has become the most regularly visited "chai ki tapri" (Mumbaikars reading can totally relate to this phrase). Just hoping they continue like this, and don't go commercial way like the others.

Ok forget Filli, got too bourgeois.
If you wanna relive their old Mamzar experience, before they franchised and ruined both the tea and the zafran milk them this is your saviour.
The tea (karak) is phenomenal, if your going for the suleimani then ask for saffron in it, or mint. Health conscious? ask for the green tea, feeling adventurous? try the zatar tea (it's there). Or just wanna soothe then go for the zafran milk, just simply delicious with copious threads of saffron in hot milk available quick. If You need something intense then opt for the hot chocolate, a blend of nesquick and Cadbury hot chocolate that transforms into the best chocolate milk for 4 dhs.
Did I mention that if your peckish you can order the manakeesh, but there's a catch, if they have running orders they'll take an additional order for one or two if not then good luck convincing them for anything below 4. That said I still won't deduct points because it's a quirk I'm amused by :D

Randomly came across this place with a few friends. Interestingly enough they have a huge crowd after 6pm for their chai, which I must admit as a hater of chai to be really good. Second, their manakeeesh is another winner. I had the Chilli manakeeesh and I must say that Al Reef finally has some really good Competition. Priced at merely 5 dhs, duniya Al sham delivered quality and taste at such a low price which is highly impressing. Can't wait to go to back to try their other stuff!

Visited this place upon Vinay Pesswani s recommendation. I have seen this shop hundred of times but never visited due to their Arabic menu. Problem with Arabic menu being it's really difficult to order of off a menu which one doesn't understand. Upon visiting, it seemed that they are very popular for their teas but for me their hidden gem was their manakeesh which in my opinion was a real winner.

There were three reasons for the same. 1) they make it pipping hot and serve you right on the spot, 2) they are really cheap at 5 dirham's each for cheese chilli and cheese zataar and 3) the most important reason without which the first two reasons don't matter i.e. the taste, which was extremely good. The manakeesh were very delicious with them being hot and just 5bucks an icing on the cake. Good place this.

This is my new favouritest hang out spot in the satwa lanes. Usually filled up with the local crowd.
The CHAAAAIII! AED 2, for a zafarani.
The cheese chilli manakish is priced at AED 5 only, and is amazing. Crispy thin crust base, with apt amount of chilli, not too spicy, not too salty.
Communicating with the staff can be problematic because a few can only converse in arabic.

It is a very small shop in the outskirts of Satwa, but the food and tea are worth trying. They have a wide range of manakish and we tried cheese spicy and zatar labnah, thr cheese spicy manakish was mind blowing and the bread used was freshly prepared, and these manakish just cost us AED 5.00 which was quite surprising as we are use to paying 7 or 8 bucks in other restaurant's for Manakish. The zafran tea is the trump card for this shop. Let me warn you once you try the zafran you will have a habbit of going there daily just to sip a cup of zafran tea and probably pull your buddies along with you daily and might become your chilling spot on daily basis.

Just a small complaint about this joint the staff is not friendly at all as they have regular local cuatomers and give high importance to them. And they also have a policy that you have to order minimum of 2 mankish else they won't even entertain your orders.
