The food does not test like food prepared for commercial purposes, it test like home. Really reminds me of home having delicious food with nice ambiance. Staff as so friendly, the place is clean, the food is amazing. I think by far the most authentic Ethiopian Eritrean restaurant in Dubai.

I recently visited this place restaurant and I appreciated it so much that I’m giving it my first review in Dubai.The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent and the food was amazing.
Im very picky and asked one for a chicken plate after many recommendations she suggested a Ramadan chicken variety plate special and assured me I will not be disappointed and boy was she right, it was absolutely amazing. We were served appetizers with some type of drink and a mixture of pastries with our coffee. The service was 5 stars they catered to our every need. The pricing was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food served, you definitely get your moneys worth and more.

Celebrated my birthday last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that it was a incredible evening and the place was clearly one of the reasons for that strong celebration. The stuff participated in a lovely way, the cuisine was very good and my buddies were so overjoyed. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much

This place is simply amazing. The food, the people, the ambience inside the restaurant. The food had a very nice texture and balance to them. The meat was succulent and tender. As a Asian guy this was a great experience and the food was amazing. And their special coffee was a blast. Very very strong and aromatic. The best part is how they serve it. All in all it was a great experience and me and friends loved it and will definitely pay a visit again.

This is an Eritrean/Ethiopian Restraurent which is right beside my office.<br/>I have been here twice and tried their traditional dish injira and doro wot. It is served in their traditional way in a huge place layered with injira on the base and salads and the doro wot is served you hot in an earthen pot which is sizzling when brought to your table.😋😋<br/>Though the names may be alien to non Ethiopians but let me tell u , injira is an traditional bread having a texture somewhat similar to Indian dosa but the taste is different and it’s more soft and delicate.<br/>Doro wot is their traditional chicken curry which full of flavors and the combination of this curry with injira goes so well that it made me to visit them again 😋<br/>At the end they offer you traditional black coffee along with home made popcorn 🍿. That’s also a great experience <br/><br/>The ambience is very great , very clean and hygienic and give you a feel of Ethiopia. They play their local video songs on the tv which gives u a feel of being there. Oh yeah, if there is 3,5/5 I'll give JUST bcz it's one time only until I taste the whole menu :)<br/>First of all, the ambiance is amaziiiiig seriously, I felt like OMG I'm in Ethiopia for real 😀<br/>anyways, we've tried here some cooked meat in tomato and chili sauce and to be honest I forgot the dishes names! 😎<br/>what onlyyyy i don't like or maybe didn't feel it, is their bread it's kinda super weird to my mouth but thank god they have another kind of bread (Samoun) they provided me once I asked, thx guys.<br/>all well cooked and well ingredients were fresh, I luv it.<br/>after we've done food, OMG they started the original Ethiopian atmosphere, making their special Ethiopian coffee, giving a super tasty home made popcorn, and they start burning a very special incense takes you to a different world.<br/>I believe I'll b coming again to check the rest of the menu, thank u guys :)

I loved the mahberawi which is injara and 6 different stews that becomes quite addictive. Very homely feel at Milen, and the way they serve is like being served by a family member.

The best place iv been to in ages, finger licking Eritrean food and superb coffee served in the most traditional manner. Beautiful experience and owned by a gorgeous lady Dina who is ever so welcoming, definitely coming back for more ❤️
