Visited Jones the grocer in midriff 35 for a late breakfast and ordered smoked chicken and Persian feta omelette with almond croissant. Omelette was good in taste and sufficient in quantity. Croissant was among the best ones I have tried so far. Great ambience, very hospitable staff and aesthetically pleasing decoration. Only thing I want to suggest is that for chicken lovers there is very limited option in menu. They should add more chicken dishes. Will definitely visit again.

I am allergic to onions and placed a note for no onions. The chickpea tomato is full of onions. The gravy was packed on too of the bread... it takes no genius to guess that by the time it reaches me, the bread will be all soggy and inedible. I loved loved the breakfast it was poached eggs wit pesto sauce and avocado on a multi grain toast. The ingredients so simple but the way it was all brought together and presented.. when u took a bite was so so flavorsome.. everything was perfect. For my coffee I went with the chemex brewer of Kenyan beans— that one woke me up.. I would love to go here again and try other items off their menu .. their staff was also so friendly especially Betty who gave good recommendations and made sure everything was good

The space is nice and bright. Been here twice and the service was quick and efficient. Once ws went for breakfast and the other day for lunch. We have ordered grilled sweet potato and smashed avocado - delicious and must try! Dont be fooled by the size its pretty filling. Truffled portobello and oyester muahrooms - nice if you're a vegetarian and a mushroom lover. Garlic and chili linguine - its pasta in red sauce. Very filling. Truffle and mushroom risotto- smelled divine and tasted great. The food is fresh and tatsy. I wish they had more vegetarian options.

I’ve always had a wonderful dinning experience at Jones the grocer. Every time I come back to this place it is just as wonderful as the first time. Their signature chicken Harrisa is one of a kind. The Moroccan rice, and the grilled chicken with that butter sauce are just as delightful as they sounds. Their new branch in Mirdif 35 has a cozy feel to it and the staff are very polite and very friendly. It has been a joy for me every time I had lunch or dinner there.

I give a 5* because of the quality of everything they serve but ofcourse quality comes at a price, right? I'd give a 3* for the price. If I could afford it I'd eat there for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Honestly the food is amazing and you are not left with this disgusting, sick feeling that you get after eating from some of those cheap outlets around this city...you know what I'm talking about!!

Quality of food: 5/5 ( the food tastes so fresh and delicious with a twist of ingredients that gives it a special flavor) 3. Cleanliness: 5/5 ( what’s nice about this place is that it has an open kitchen so you can see how the food gets prepared) 4. Price: 4/5 ( the price is on the high side due to the quality of food which is worth it)

I've always been a fan of Jones The Grocer, so to find one near to home was a treat. Wanting a late breakfast on a Friday, away from the brunch crowds we headed over here, where breakfast extends until 4pm. Fantastic friendly staff make you feel at home New additions to the menu tempt your taste buds Fresh food and a lovely set up make this spot an all round winner. Jones the grocer has got the be one of the best American cuisine we have tried in a very long time. Everything from such courteous staff to the store replicated interior, it is truly a 5 star experience at Jones. Being our second visit at Jones, previously at shk zayed road, the mirdiff branch is a bit too confusing to reach since it is not located on a road side. The place was a bit calm and quiet while we were dining. We ordered their signature Spiced chargrilled chicken breast burger. The burgers, served on a brioche bun comes with lime aioli and French fries. It also has chimichurri dresses slaw served as side with it. We had their Truffle and mushroom risotto as well. The spice and salt is perfectly cooked with the risotto. The mushroom risotto, drizzled with white truffle oil, is worth the price and great in quantity. Their garlic and chili linguine, a spaghetti served with shaved Parmesan and basil. The tomato reduction comes a great deal with the dish. Both the spaghetti and risotto are served with garlic bread on top of it. Over all, a great dining experience yet again. Great hospitality from the staff and attractive bill for such a great dinner.

This place is a not just a restaurant serving awesome food. They are purveyors of fine food too. You will be greeted by the finest cuts of meat and cheese, all enclosed in a glass room, as soon as you enter the restaurant. And as you look around, you will find jars of preserves, jams, fruit cheese, confits jostling for space alongside crackers, organic pasta, nuts, bottles of vinegar etc. They will make a fine food hamper for you too in case you want to gift someone. They even sell coffee makers, tea presses; the works!! Chocolate connoisseurs aren't ignored either as they also sell bars of the premium chocolate brand Valrhona here! 🍫🍫🍫🤤🤤🤤 Coming to the food, I came here with my family for breakfast today and we were given some complimentary cheese to taste, which was a nice touch. We ordered the following: 1) Homemade Coconut Flour Pancakes with blueberry compote, pecan crumble and whipped greek yoghurt (AED 47). In other words, delish! 🤤🤤🤤 2) Green Chilli Cheese Toast (AED 36). This was fresh green chilli paste served with two sunny side up fried eggs and tomato coriander salsa on a toasted multigrain bread with grilled cheddar cheese. This was good too. 3) Jones Traditional English Breakfast (AED 62). A lovely and filling breakfast comprising of two sunny side fried eggs on a sourdough toast, two mini chicken sausages wrapped in beef bacon, hash brown, sauteed mixed mushrooms and I specifically requested them to remove the slow roasted plum tomatoes and replace it with sauteed spinach instead. This was just plain awesomeness on a plate! 🤤🤤🤤 I loved the breakfast menu here although I feel they could be a bit more flexible when it came to offering more options on Pancakes and French toasts. And they could also introduce Waffles and Crepes. That being said, I will come around again for lunch or dinner, some other day. 🙂🙂🙂

Food ordered : the traditional breakfast and the Portobello mushroom on toast Price : reasonable ... for 3 of us with Americano Ambience : relaxed and peaceful. I'm sure winter would be even better on the outside porch. Friendly staff and superb layout Review : I'm someone who eats with the eyes first and I loved the presentation. Simple yet inviting. Coffee in black porcelain looked adorable. I don't know why I'm so fond of coffee cups...but there is something about having coffee in porcelain...call me dreamy! I'll live with it. My mushroom on toast was done well. Maybe a bit more pesto or perhaps more pesto on the side. I would have loved the mushrooms sauteed in butter...instead of olive oil but I suppose health is a good reason. The eggs Benedict and the sausages were also cooked to perfection. For my son...obviously anything wrapped in bacon would be heavenly. All in all .. a totally relaxed experience for a Friday lazy breakfast. And would love to go back and try some more items on the menu.

It's a relatively quiet place with lots of seating area. The decor is nice with lots of natural light and pleasant place if you would like to spend a quiet afternoon or evening as it's not overly crowded. We ordered a grilled spatchcock corn fed chicken and a Jones waguy burger. The portion size is good but both were average in taste. Though i must add that we ordered a side of truffle fries which was amazing. The service was ok. Not sure if i would be returning unless i would want to utilise the entetainer voucher.

Easy parking, good decor, plenty of seating area (both inside and outdoor) are a few reasons to visit Jones the Grocer in Mirdiff35. Almost always less crowded than the Sheikh Zayed Road outlet. We ordered a beef slider, which came with a generous portion of beef and some salad on the side, a couple of fried Atlantic Cods (fish and chips); I had my potato chips swapped for sweet potatoes, and a Salmon on soba noodles. The salmon was good, the cod had lost most of its taste to ice and deep frying, and the beef succulent. Service; not much to write home about. Prices are reasonable given the decor and ambiance; and quality of ingredient. The complimentary mini-cheese platter is a nice touch and makes them stay true to their 'gourmet food for everyday living' theme.

So I decided to spent my end of weekend with a pleasant cup of coffee. My usual ritual pleasantries. Let's start off with the environment. A very calm place to spend the ritual which is a plus for me. The coffee was exactly how I like it, strong and the pleasant bitterness which gives a rich taste. I currently choose this place as my number one coffee spot. Watching the people eat added a little appetite, so I decided to go for something light, the mushroom and truffle risotto. Not so creamy and surprisingly not heavy at all! My love for mushrooms is seriously high and this one tops it off! I don't usually go for risottos but today was an exception and I have no regrets. To end it, a refreshing sparkling water with some citrus would definitely help digest this good dish. Waiters are friendly and appreciate the feedback to keep the quality top-notch! The prices of the dishes are acceptable. The price of the coffee I would definitely agree with, well deserved! If you're an animal lover, you'll enjoy the company of two friendly cats. Don't kick them and pet them nicely! All in all, definitely coming back! Well done lads!

I had 2 recent visits to this place. First was with my friends in the evening. And second was with my hubby for the breakfast. The evening visit was good. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was served with fresh salad and tasted very nice. I requested Tabasco but I think the server forgot to bring it 😉 The morning visit was disappointing as I went with high expectations and wasn’t happy to see the breakfast plates. Ordered Egg Benedict for hubby and he was unhappy to see the serving. Small round bread with poached eggs. No salad or extra bread. Actually we have been to many restaurants for breakfast and we can get a better fuller plate in almost same or less price. My plate was good, poached eggs topped with Pesto sauce served over full grain bread. Coffee we had to order separately, Cappuccino was good. The staff is courteous and professional. Service was good. Even when I told them that menu and prices are not updated on Zomato and there is quite a difference, they apologized and informed me that there has been a delay from Zomato management.

We went here for lunch on Saturday. I would have gone to the SZR outlet but chose to go here since we were close by. We ordered the Chargrilled harissa chicken, Spatchcock corn fed baby chicken and skin on fries Quality - The food was substandard. 1. I understand that the concept of catering to universal pallets. The food however missed the mark by a mile in flavour or originality. 2. The chicken was very rubbery and the both dishes were served cold. Staff Attentiveness Now i am a big animal lover. But when i eat at a restaurant the last thing i want to see is a stray cat inside the restaurant. We dint make a fuss because i dont have a problem with animals.. but the staff had no clue that there was a cat inside their restaurant for a good 10 mins or so. Lastly, both me and my wife fell sick right after. I wonder what went wrong... was it one off, was it because the mirdiff 35 is not their flagship outlet and there is a lack of commitment or did they serve us sub standard food because i checked with them about the entertainer voucher before ordering? overall the experience left us Butchered!

I visited the branch in Mirdif 35 and I feel in love with the location because it has both indoor and outdoor seating area and really love the entire interiors of this place. Salmon with salad as a healthy option. I enjoyed this meal, but it didn’t feel like something that blew my mind. It was the same salmon and salad I could have made at home. Very bad customer service and experience. I’ve always liked going to Jones the Grocer especially Sheikh Zayed Road and Khalidiya Abu Dhabi, but when I came to the branch in Mirdif, I was really dumbfounded with the inflexibility of the management and ensuring customer satisfaction. I have asked for a grilled chicken and to replace the side dish (couscous) with a salad. I was told that I can’t change the side dish because of the cost, so I proposed to pay the difference and they still refused. Consequently, I told them I won’t be ordering anything, and their answer was “ok”. Really disappointing and never going to Jones ever again!

Great place to grab a healthy bite to eat. It is light, bright and airy inside perfect for a nice breakfast. The menu lists different allergens so it is easy to find what works best for you. The menu is diverse enough to auit most tastes with the food being fresh and flavourful. I made my dish Avocado on a thick slice of sweet potato dairy free by just askig them to omit the feta cheese. It came with deliciously poached eggs and chili flakes. Light and filling at the same time

I am a sucker for Breakfast! I absolutely love the idea of starting the day with some ME time and indulge in a nice proper healthy filling breakfast, and Jones the Grocer does just that. I had gone in for the Friday morning breakfast and had the traditional English breakfast with some Earl Grey tea as well. It's a sure shot winner for me. Furthermore I love the ambiance, the airy, light and bright interiors make it a perfect setting for an extended reading session or to even work out of. Once the temperatures drop it will turn into a perfect outdoor setting too. I absolutely love this place! x N

Here for breakfast, asked the barista if he knows how to make a cortado, he says yes. 2 minutes later i was served a watered down espresso!! Whats worst, he argues that cortados don’t have milk in them! Anyways, i order the big breakfast and ask the waiter to swap the hash browns with avocados, she came back saying we cant swap them so i had it without hash browns as i cant eat potatoes. The place is getting cheap. Never having breakfast here again, period.

If you live in Mirdif this is the best place to have your breakfast. I have tried Shiekh Zayed Branch around eight years ago for dinner and I hated the place, however yesterday when I had tried their breakfast I have changed my mind. The food is good, the service is excellent, the interiors are beautiful, and the location is good. Good Value for money. check the pictures for the dishes I had, the Flat white coffee was normal. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

visited this place for breakfast this morning. To begin with ambience... it gives u a very fresh & relaxed feel.. The service was really good.. & quick very attentive i must say. I loved the freshness of it and it was definitely enough for me. The place was amazing. I didnt even know where to sit as everywhere was just nice. Totally instagrammable! The food is pretty average. The coffee is okay. I'd go here if I wanted to have a business meeting or a working session. I found a tough time finding something glutenfree, low carb, and low fat on the menu. The staff is helpful and the ambiance is okay.

Breakfast done well! 🍳☕️ This new location is spacious and bright, which is great. It's conveniently located in Mirdif which is a huge plus considering where I live. My friend and I ordered the smoked chicken and Persian feta omelette (made with whipped egg whites!!) and the poached eggs on multigrain toast. Both were exceptionally fresh and simple, flavours on point. I ordered a chai latte and it was absolutely perfect. It had the American taste chai like you'd get at Starbucks in North America, not karak. We then shared the tiramisu French toast and it was perfect. Not soggy, but still fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside 😍 Overall, service was good and I'd definitely be back!

I believe something went wrong when they tried to repeat the same experience from the other branch on SZR. The service is slow even though the place isn't packed. The food is not what you expect it to be and the cutlery isn't clean, with a serious odor. I ordered the eggs benedicte without the bacon medium. I was served over cooked eggs with literally nothing on the plate but two toasts and the eggs benedicte, unlike the other location... I guess this is still a work in progress (maybe in a few months time)

Atmosphere was good and nice, food was good but not wow.. coffee needs improvement. The location is very new and nice to visit.. keep it up and trial is recommended

I went today for breakfast. I have ordered their famous Tiramisu French Toast and it was so good, the Eggs Benedict was so yum and the Cappuccino was average. The place is lovely and the employees were kind and friendly. Recommended! Average Cost: AED 130 for two people (approx.)

JTG has recently opened in the Mirdif 35 Mall, with a cozy interior space and ample seating outdoors to enjoy the current weather. I brought a friend for lunch and we took a while to order as most main courses contained dairy products (which we could not eat), even some dishes which seemed to not require them in my opinion. My friend went for the fish and chips - crisp battered fish fillets served with French fries, pea puree and tartare sauce. The common verdict was that the batter could have used some seasoning/flavour and the tartare sauce was not what we expected. After asking for some garlic aioli, the flavour profile improved. I ordered the sharing appetiser board and was informed that the meats listed were not available so I went for the seafood options. The board arrived with an order of grilled baby calamari which was dressed in oil to resemble antipasti. It was well cooked but I would have liked a touch more seasoning and maybe there was no need for the oil? Also on the board was beetroot cured salmon which was perfect. This was accompanied by sliced bread which would have been better if toasted lightly. Also the garlic aioli was a great pairing with this so make sure to ask for some. The star of the show was the salmon fish cake – crisp outside, moist and creamy on the inside. The menu said the board would be served with peppadews but I didn’t get any. For drinks, we got an iced tea and the passion fruit mocktail which was tart and refreshing. Service and ambiance were decent with no complaints. We’d be back but hoping for a little kick of flavour to some of the dishes!

Hmm, where to start. I went to the Resturant and there was only 1 busy table, and yet, no one welcomed us, we sat ourselves, got the baby chairs, added an extra table, and even got the menu, all by myself. So that's 0/5 for service. The food, bland, no seasoning, tasteless. So 0/5. Presentation of the food was fine but that is at least what u might expect when the price of small bottle of water is 16 dirhams. Very expensive place. I understand it's an organic store and u wouldn't like to offer us soft drinks, but come on, what do u expect me to drink with fish and chips or a wagyu burger?!??

Sweet tooth cravings! 🍬 🍭 Stopped by for a quick sweet fix and I will always come back. Their desserts are so unbelievably delicious! We ordered the carrot cake which is one of best I've ever tried, it's so moist and rich! The apple crumble was served hot with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and I couldn't put my fork down. I also love that the dessert is gluten free since I needed something sweet for my cheat day. Usually gluten free desserts are so tasteless and dry but not here! Staff is really nice and attentive and I loveeee the atmosphere! Although their prices are bit high I do really love the quality and taste of the desserts, hopefully next time I'll try the actual food. 👍🏻👍🏻best dessert!
