The price is very reasonable too. I'm not sure about the rice though. I kinda tasted like plastic and it hardened pretty fast. I might come back again if I happen to ge in the area and want something quick. Their food is still better than fast food chains which use lots of chemicals and preservatives.

Went here to try their food. It’s pretty good and we stuffed ourselves silly. They had a lot of veggie dishes which we thought was vegetarian but it’s not — there would be some beef or chicken hidden between the veg, which does make it tastier, however, just a note to be careful if you’re vegetarian. The menu does not the fully vegetarian dishes with the green leaf symbol, so just be aware of that.

Hands down the best authentic chinese you'll find in town. A little bit more expensive than most restaurants around the area but well worth it!

If you'd like an Authentic yet budget-Friendly Chinese Cuisine, then try this place. I love Chinese Food but its very rare to find the authenticity of their cuising specially here in Middle east but this place made me feel that I really was in China. Been searching for a really good Chinese restaurant here in uae and I'm glad we found this place!! The food was amazing and the portions were quite generous.. the price was good considering the serving. Everything we tried were super tasty. A hidden gem in international city for authentic Chinese food. The taste is authentic and the serving is perfect. Price wise they can be a bit linient considering the portions but taste is the key here. The service is okish as they don’t speak fluent English. Overall if u want Tonga e authentic Chinese food then this is the right place.

We ordered, Hongkong Noodles soup and Hofun with Beaf and noodles. The food is ok, But little bland for our taste good presentation though... . However but the staff super confused... Lol

Have eaten twice - first at the Food court and second ln their restaurant near Novo cinemas of DRagonmart 2. 2 words - AUTHENTIC CHINESE food! The price is restaurant pricing but definitely worth it if you’re looking for some really good chinese food. Recommend their roasted duck, sun tour fried rice, braised beef in a pot, and their dumplings & sio mai. They have japanese and thai in their menu too- but as they say- if it’s a chinese restaurant, stick to Chinese food! Lol! We tried out the Tom Yum - and yep- wasn’t good at all. Stick to the chinese menu!

Tasty, authentic, and cheap Chinese food, especially the buffet, which has 10-15 different dishes already cooked, and at the cost of one plate at most other restaurants, you can have a tray with 3 portions of your choice, plus white rice. Pick up some chopsticks and enjoy!

This place serves food that is very close to authentic Chinese. The dishes are neither too oily or spicy. We often visit this outlet and there’s always a new dish to taste and discover. This outlet is way better than the one at the Dragon Mart.

Fresh, tasty and well balanced. Ate in Dragon mart 2 and absolutely loved the food. Loved the pokchoy and potato sliced as side dish. Mixed fried rice and black pepper beef were amazing as well. Well done and Keep up the good work.

The food court is well laid out and offers lots of varieties in the Dragon Mart 2. This is a nice Chinese outlet serving relatively more 'authentic' cuisine. Had dumplings and fried rice. Decent....

I like their service and food. This is the best option to taste real Chinese food. Quality of food is OK. Ambience, hospitality and presentation was good. In my opinion the taste was OK. I liked the food and absolutely no waiting time.

SunTour restaurant serves without a doubt the best Tomyum soup there is in Dubai. Each spoon is an explosion of great flavor in my mouth ! It is simply amazing. Their other dishes are great too and taste awesome. A bit pricey but great value for money !

A huge restaurant at the dragmon mart but very few customers even on a Thursday evening.....they claim to serve authentic Chinese but the feel of the food wasnt quite like that....food came pretty late and the portion for two people weren't good enough but the taste was okay....but not good enough for the price we paid...<br/>

Authentic Chinese food as recommended by my Chinese colleague. And what followed was explosion of flavours in every morsel! The place was teaming with Chinese folks and alleviated all doubts. We ordered seaweed and chicken clear soup which was the chefs special. This clear broth was soothing with occassional bites of chicken, boiled soya bean and seaweeds. Main course was sizzling lamb in black pepper sauce (aka winner) and chicken with mushrooms in clay pot which was tasty indeed. We devoured them with steamed rice. For me the lamb was pure indulgence and would go back for this dish again. As always we wanted to end the dinner on a sweet note and their papaya and sago in coconut milk was subtly satiating.I gladly say Xièxiè Sun Tour!

After a hectic day of shopping- window shopping- people watching, our stomach and feet decided to give way and drag us to a nearby resto. With its name Sun Tour restaurant we didnt know what to expect. So we just ordered based on the photos on the menu. Surprise surprise but wow the food tasted great. We had the crispy fried chicken chinese style, some fried rice which tasted authentic chinese style, and servings of dumplings. The price is a bit upscale but you wont regret it.

Tucked away in China Cluster ( obvious) in International City, this place attracted us ny its rating on Zomato. Decided to give it a go after our long day at Dragon mart and we were pleasantly surprised. This place instantly tranports you to China with its decor and ambience. The menu is in Chinese, the TV is playing Chinese news and the servers are chinese. We we're the only non Chinese people there. Coming to the food, ordered black mushroom salad and wasabi prawns for starters..absolutely loved it!!! The wasabi zing was a lot but still cooked to perfection. Orderee wok fried hong kong noodles and stir fried mixed vegetables for main course and bith were cooked to perfection. We left this place with our tummies full and heart content. Authentic chinese at its best!

Authentic.. In a city truly lacking Chinese cuisine authenticity. All the servers are Chinese, the menu has Chinese lettering and there's even a specific odor masking the restaurant, transporting you to mainland China as you enter and take your seat.<br/><br/>The food is really good, at least what I tried of it. The hotpot was the real king for me here. Had the chicken as well as the eggplant and both were super. Sides and vegetable weren't anything special. <br/>I definitely want to try some of the noodle dishes next time as they looked great.

Have been eating twice here and they were pleasantly good. First time here, we ordered the food the orthodox way : so the waiter come to our table with the menu booklet and note down whatever our order is.... that time, we had one nasi goreng and one meat dishes based on pictures. The nasi goreng was simply ..... Superb!! But the other dishes, it came in completely different look than the one shown in the book, so its a bit disappointing...<br/><br/>The second time, we came and see fellow Chinese guest come directly to the other side of restaurant thus pointing finger to display glass (with a lot different dishes inside) and return with 4-5 bowl of dishes. We decided to follow this guy and coming out with 4 bowl of different dishes plus 2 bowl of rice. Order food this way, we don't need to wait as the food is ready even before we arrived. Unlike last time, we had to wait 20-25 mins to get the food and its cheaper this way as well! And the food?? I've been there after seeing the rate on zomato. <br/><br/>From many Chinese places I went to this is the only one I haven't find taste that let you back or worth what you pay. <br/><br/>I requested few dishes and was quite disappointed with the speed as they were slow, quantity i got for such price and the after taste it leaves in my mouth.<br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend it to any friend or go back again. <br/><br/>

I have been to Dragon Mart couple of times already but I haven't eaten there yet. Finally, this time my family and I were able to try the Sun Tour restaurant. This place is perfect for family dinner especially when you prefer an authentic Chinese dish. <br/><br/>I enjoyed the Pakchoy with my favorite kind of mushroom...the Winter! I can eat a plate of it along with a standard drink which is green tea. I also love their Pomfret fish with tausi beans, reminds me of my great grandma's cooking. I was expecting a crispy pecking duck but it was not. Anyhow, the food trip was just alright and my 10 month old son enjoyed their pumpkin soup.

For the first time in last few years, I found a reason to go back to International City over shopping @Dragon Mart. That is Sun Tour. The menu card itself is an amazingly interesting premise which let you discover thr journey ahead. I was guided by one of the most pleasant lady staff of the restaurant. Of course, I didn't miss out on my always favorite Morning Glory and it eas cooked to perfection. Just amazing! Next time would like to try the open buffet. That looked fascinating too. But we weren't aware of the existence of such an option. I didn't like their authentic claypot menu though. It was too high on a fishy sauce fragrance. But maybe I need to acquire the taste of authentic Chinese cuisine :)

Scallops was perfectly pan fried with delicious topping of Grilled   Tomatoes and Asparagus. Really enjoyed their delicious dinner in Chinese  ambient. Steam chicken flavored in Lotus leaf with Mix fried rice was too good. The fried rice looks very simple but was full of their magical flavors. Very friendly Staff and will always be in my must visit list

Ignore the terrible name and the horrendous communication skills of the waiters. This is one awesome and authentic Chinese cuisine restaurant in Dubai. Highly recommend the clay pot chicken.

Easily one of the best Chinese Chinese restaurants in Dubai, which by default makes it one of the best in the Middle East. The beauty of Sun Tour (who named this place?) is that it caters for the Chinese and hard core Chinese Chinese fans as well as for the rest of Joe Public. This means that you get your funky stuff like Jellyfish with Vinegar and Traditional Stewed Duck Head or Feet!! but also the normal stuff like stir-fries and noodles and things with actual vertebrae and dishes which don’t include head and feet.<br/><br/>There are two sections to the restaurant – as you enter on the right is a cafeteria style area where various dishes are on display for you to choose from beside which is a live cooking station. There’s also a tallish counter with stools for those who want to have a quick meal on the trot – and I assume ‘quick meal’ because I can’t imagine sitting on one of those stools for longer than a couple of minutes. On the other side of the restaurant there are two seating areas – one for the great unwashed like me and the other for people with even bigger bellies, egos and wallets.<br/><br/>Unless you speak Mandarin communication is going to be…um, challenging. Even the Filipino boys there seems to have forgotten their English. But grab one as soon as you arrive – they’re better than the Chinese staff who by default answer every question you ask them with eh?<br/><br/>Before you start ordering I suggest you go to the cafeteria section – there are some amazing dishes there which are served in small tapas sized portions – good for a quick, light meal or as starters. If they have the Baby Aubergines (Eggplant), try them – they’re cooked in a slightly spicy garlic sauce and are amazing. Also the Szechuan favourite, Fried Green Beans which are crunchy, savoury with just a little kick. Avoid the Glass Noodles which I found a little too greasy. Remember, these are all in the cafeteria section.<br/><br/>The menu has pictures which makes it relatively easy to follow (and now you know why Chinese restaurants have menus with pictures). Note, not all the items on the menu are always available. From the menu I suggest you try the Clay Pot Chicken, the Braised Beef with Green Vegetables and the Stir-fried Prawns in Wasabi & Mayonnaise. Make sure you also order either or both the Fried Noodles and Egg Fried Rice – both in their most simple form, which in-turn complement the other mains perfectly.<br/><br/>Expect a few hic-ups, be prepared for a little adventure, be patient and best. This restaurant has quite a unique offering when compared to other chinese restaurants in Dubai.  <br/><br/>Firstly, there is a sit down area as well as a takeaway area which offers a "pick and mix" service for all diners.  <br/><br/>The menu is quite varied and the service itself is very good.  The restaurant is well lit and the ambiance is great.<br/><br/>The beef and chicken wings were very good - but the fried rice and vegetables fell a little flat.  The food was not bad at all, but i dont think it compares to some of the other restaurants nearby. <br/><br/>I would go back again to try more of the menu, but it is difficult when other restaurants offer better food at cheaper prices.

If you fancy a quick authentic chinese meal instead of fine dining ones in the 5 star hotels, you should try this restaurant. Though you noticed that I usually go for fine dining, I actually went to this restaurant very often when I fancy a casual one but forgotten to post. This is the most authentic Chinese casual restaurant I have ever had in Dubai. Let aside the restaurant interior, the seafood is cooked from live. You definitely should try the live fish. It's swimming in the tank and steamed to the accurate level and not over cooked at all. You just need a bit of soy sauce to give it a bit of taste and you can tell the difference between the live fish and dead fish you could get in Carrefour. Crabs are live as well and are cooked with spring onions and ginger. These are the two dishes you should try. A steamed live fish would be around aed 100 but is good enough for 4 if you order the other dishes. Beef ribs with mushroom and chicken wings are probably the other dishes I would go for. Wok fried beef noodles and salted dried fish fried rice would probably my sides. It's cheap like a canteen but the price is more than what you paid for. You should try. With aed 250, 4 adults would feel very full. Definitely worth going for a casual meal. Some dishes are more for Northern Chinese and I wouldn't order them so I can't comment but these few dishes are good enough to keep me as a frequent guest on my days of having casual dinners and cheaper meals.

I accidentally came across this place when I was shopping in Dragon Mart. Coming from New York where fast food Chinese is so popular and distinct, I've been on a search for something similar ever since I've been here. This place is the closest when it comes to flavor. I would definitely drive the distance to eat at this restaurant.

Chinese food at its best. Quick to serve and located quite near the main entrance of Dragon Mart in China Cluster 3, SUN tour Restaurant serves fresh chinese food at reasonable prices. It is quite filling although doesn't seem like the portions are enough. The Clay Pot Noodle Soup is excellent when served hot (as in red hot spicy). There always is ample seating space and the ambiance is nice. Family friendly too but don't go expecting the kids to be served kids meals or colouring books etc. A place for good authentic chinese food at fair prices.

Nestled in the "head" of Dragon Mart, I found this restaurant to be surprisingly good. Fresh tasting ingredients and full of flavour. I enjoyed the beef brisket and mushroom clay pot for its silky gravy and tenderness. I liked the dynamite shrimp starter, but thought there was too much sauce smothering the generous portion of prawns. Sautéed sweet corn and pine nuts were a simple but very morish accompaniment.

Set right at the main entrance of dragon mart, this restaurant is literally the first thing which catches your eye. We decided to make a pit stop here for lunch after a long shopping trip. Expect quick speedy food at this place. We started off with juices - I ordered their papaya juice which was so fresh n yummy. Ideally, we would never try out a random restaurant like this one, probably cause there are so many of them around International City.
