So when I heard that Wangs Kitchen in Lulu Hypermarket- Al Barsha is now serving Filipino dishes, we immediately tried the same day we were doing our grocery run. Fried calamari were perfectly crisp, perfect as appetizers. Pancit canton-bihon got a thumbs up from my husband who’s a certified pancit monster! Tapsilog is particularly special with garlic basmati rice complementing the tender, flavorful tapa. My standards for Kare-kare are pretty simple: should have melt-your-mouth meat, peanuty (not too salty) sauce, perfectly cooked veggies and delicious side of bagoong— happy to say everything was met. Inihaw platter was a hit for me too, especially the isaw and chicken feet. The coffee jelly for dessert was not too sweet and was a nice way to end this awesome meal. We will definitely come back or order for delivery soon!

However, the actual dish comes with less quantities and full of bones. No chicken. I don't recommend in ordering from this place as you will regret of having it. Situated inside the Al Barsha Lulu food court, this is the place to go if you crave authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. My personal all time favorite Hot Butter Cuttlefish is done to perfection here. Crispy and spicy tossed in butter it’s a party in your mouth. During lunch hours you can get authentic banana leaf wrapped different combos (chicken, fish or veg) that comes with all types of veg, lentil and curry served on a bed of rice. Try their coconut pandan jelly dessert and cream soda to bring your culinary experience to a truly Sri Lankan level. You can ask the chef to make the spice level to your tolerance as the food can be very spicy.

They put tomato and cucumber in the chicken sweet and sour! Never heard or tired this before. When I called and asked the manager they said that this is a Chinese/Indian restaurant! Not delicious at all! Even the noodles was tasteless.

Tried rice and curry wrapped in banana leaves and lump rice. It was tasty and could feel the authenticity. The curries quantity could have been more.

I needed a place to order some authentic Sri Lankan food during the lockdown in Dubai and I thankfully found a wonderful place. I wanted some Sri Lankan coconut milk rice for Sri Lankan New Year and they were more than happy to accommodate me last moment. The food was superb. I ordered again from them for their Sri Lankan breakfast and again they did a fabulous job. Bought this for breakfast, expecting the normal taste of nasi goreng. Turned out it was too sweet coz I asked for not spicy. This is 3/4 of the portion coz I couldn't have it all, there was a fried egg and fried chicken with it.<br/>The nasi goreng is actually common food to eat for breakfast in Indonesia, but not this one. this is a typical indian chinese cuisine restaurant in the food court of lulu al barsha. I often order their sizzler combo which seems to be their signature item. the portion,the tasting,the value are a little bit above average,so I give 3/5.

Very disappointed with their service lately. Their staff is not at all welcoming. Used to visit them most weekends but have decided never to visit them. Also they have reduced the quantity of food amount compared to what it used to be before.

I have been here quite a few times and this is the first time that I am writing a review. It is located in the food court of Lulu Al Barsha, so as far as ambiance is concerned, there isn't much. But other than that, the food here has been consistently great ! Although, to be honest I haven't tried that many of the items on the menu, as I always go there with my parents and my mom is not one for experimenting. She says its a waste of money if we end up not liking it. (Sigh) <br/><br/>The one dish I have always had consistently and never disappoints is the Chicken Sizzler. It is seriously so good and I think it may be their best seller! The chicken is of the perfect texture and combined with the veggies and delicious sauces, it is divine. Being a Bengali, I enjoy a lot of flavor in my food, and so I find this dish very satisfying. I mean, the flavor here is high quality. The quantity is also a lot, we ordered two sizzlers for five and we still had enough leftover to take home and eat the next day. <br/><br/>We also ordered some fried rice, which are also served in large portions along with the rice that came with the sizzlers. So you can rest assured that you will be filled to the brim. <br/><br/>We got Veggie Hakka Noodles, which tasted pretty good on its own but combined with the sizzlers they are amazing. <br/><br/>Lastly, we got Golden Fried Prawns. These were okay, they felt a little stale. <br/><br/>All in all, I love eating here and it is probably my favorite Chinese place that is affordable. So if you are on a tight budget and craving some good Chinese, this is just the place for you!

Tried Wangs for the first time and it was decent. I only tried their schezuan noodles with seafood and it was amazing. The dish was nice and spicy just the way I like and had lots of veggies as well. Portion was good too! Will definitely come back for more. Yum!

Wangs Kitchen @ Lulu Barsha is very nice in taste and some of the dishes stand out.<br/><br/>the standards of fried noodles and rice are very good besides the chilly chicken and some other starters.<br/><br/>The soups are pretty decent but the sizzlers is where it doesnt really hold up well, besides that the remaining main course has excellent variety and good taste.<br/><br/>Overall a good experience- do go for it and enjoy the desi chinese feast....you will like it!

I was here for the sizzlers. But this is not the kind of sizzler you would expect with the mains, bolied vegetables, potato wedges and small portion of rice/noodles.<br/><br/>I went with Wang's Chicken Sizzler. The sizzling plate consisted of chicken only with chopped capsicum and onions, a seperate portion of steamed rice (I upgraded it with fried rice for addtional 3 AED) and a soft drink. The quantity of the sizzler is easily enough for 2. It would be better if I went the steamed rice bcos' the fried rice tasted nothing like it! Although, the chicken was good.<br/><br/>My bill for this sizzler was 38 AED. I don't really think it was worth this price as you get a better sizzler/quanity/quality/taste at Winny's Restaurant & Confectionary comparatively at a lower price!<br/><br/>Definitely not coming back here. Wangs Kitchen is a hidden gem in the food court of Lulu Barsha. I have had their Chicken Sizzler's several times and if you like it spicy this is the place to turn the heat on to the taste buds. While ordering tell the guy to make it spicy. The sizzler taste real good though a bit oily. The sizzling plate is good for two.I believe this dish is their top seller and you would find people digging into it all around the food court. A must try for chili spice lovers. Smoking Hot!!

Its ma wife's favourite since she was in chennai . I was there an year back to have fried rice and twas nice . Its not easy for us to go everytime to Barsha .<br/><br/>Today i went there but the menu in Zomato is outdated with prices . Price are 4 to 5 dhms more . I irdered Wangs sizzlers with low oil and sause . For my big surprise , the sizzler was so big that a single person cant manage . <br/>The taste was nice and highly recmnded for sizzlers lovers !!!!

Usually I would make a bee line towards bombay chowpatty in LULU hypermarket but this time thought of trying out Wangs. <br/><br/>They have the tried and tested veg and non veg combos but also serve sizzlers. I ordered the veg sizzler which comes with white rice. And a chicken combo which is two types of chicken with rice, a chicken lollipop and a soft drink.<br/><br/>The veg sizzler is a of a good quantity and I can say was one of the best I ever tasted, yes in a food court of all the places! And for 28DHS was worth it. Chicken combo got thumbs up too from my partner. <br/><br/>Service was quick but the cashier was a bit unruly, no smile :) but he was quick and helpful.

With the exception of Peppermill, this is easily the 2nd best option to dine at Lulu Barsha!<br/><br/>They entice you with their combo meals - Add 2 Dhs here and there and finally the bill will be 30 bucks and still you get the feeling that you 'saved' money! ;) The Chicken Sizzler is pretty awesome - it continues to be their biggest hit till date. Have tried this joint at various occasions and it has never *Cough* Cough* failed to disappoint. There is just one weird thing about this place - the soft drinks taste abnormally bad! As if some sort of 'extra' powder is added to them!<br/><br/>Overall - a decent, budget place to dine.

Not everyone makes sizzlers like a pro but the chefs at Wangs definitely know their job! Tried their Chicken Sizzler just today & I am already tempted to go back to try more of their dishes. Good stuff & generous quantity!!

First of all I would like to correct Zomato that, this food chain is completely working. So please remove that wrong information!!!<br/><br/><br/>Ambiance: Food court. <br/>That counter was empty almost.<br/><br/>Food : Seafood Sizzler with fried rice and drinks . It’s a combo meal. Menu is listed with steamed rice, if you want fried rice or noodles, pay 2 dhs extra you will get it. So we choose fried rice.<br/><br/><br/>Sizzling seafood reached our table in about 15 minutes. Its fish (Pasha ) , prawn and some veggies (carrot, capsicum and cabbage) . The fish and prawn were coated well with the sauce and was so delicious; I enjoyed the fish more than prawn. Prawn I felt like frozen one. Even the veggies were too good. We polished of the plate. I would suggest trying this out. I had tasted their chicken sizzler before, but it wasn't that good. So avoid that. <br/><br/><br/>Fried rice:  A plate full of  pre-made steamed rice, sauteed with little veggies. It was just OK. <br/><br/><br/>For AED 32, it was good enough for 2 people. It’s better to share.<br/><br/><br/>I haven’t tried anything other than the sizzlers, so for the meantime my pick is only seafood sizzler.<br/><br/><br/>Enjoy.
