Went with a group of colleagues for mid week lunch

We were the only ones in the restaurant and the place was well sanitized and staff were following proper safety protocols

We ordered mix meat grill for 3 with sides of rice and fries

Service was swift

Food lacked flavor and we were disappointed that there were only two type of grills served (kebab and Tikka). We expected bit more variety

Disappointed with the food, specially given that they charge a premium price compared to other Persian restaurants

This is an all time fav of ours. Amazing grills, followed by fluffy saffron rice.....
Try it you would not regret it.

I’m a fan of Iranian food in general and Pars in particular. I’ve dined in as well as ordered from them; great quality of food, friendly staff, good prices, and lovely yet simple ambience. Highly recommended for those who appreciate great food without the flashy drama. Among my favorite Iranian restaurants in Dubai :)
Food Traveler
This place is one of the first few restaurants serving Iranian food in dubai. I like the fact that their quality is still up to the mark. We love their food and keep coming back for more. Definitely recommend it.
Azmaira Halani
Good food but awful delivery service. The restaurant took 2 hours to deliver when they initially said it would only take 45 minutes. It’s very disappointing when you receive your food cold and 2 hours later. Honest time expectations would be appreciated as I would not have ordered if I knew how long it would take.

The packaging and the food was amazing

Pars is one of the oldest Iranian restaurant in Dubai near trade center. It serves authentic Iranian food and fresh breads. The staff is very good and helpful. Its a bit over priced but worth a while. Now they have branches in mirdiff, Dubai mall, Mall of emirates, JBR etc...

Good food and service,
But the prices are high as compared to normal.

Food was great no doubt but the servers served us the soup without letting us know it was paid for seperately. Other than that, prices a bit high than usual. Ambiance is a bit dull in regards to lighting and decor.

Pars restaurant was one of the best restaurant in Dubai, and also one of the oldest Iranian restaurant, but now the quality and service is not so good

Pars really present the Iranian couzine. One of my favorite restaurants when it comes to Iranian cuisine.. Best platter is the mixed rise and grill plate.

This is really a big group feast
Whenever we wanted to share a meal at the office our choice will be Pars meals ..
It's good and taste fine ..
Very old restaurant in the city and still taste the same..
I like their rice platter with kebabs
Service was mediocre I ordered the koobideh kebab not pictured. And yoghurt and cocktail juice. Overall it was acceptional. Iran zamin is better

Not authentic Iranian cuisine!
Bagheli Polo with Black-eye Beans!?
The name is on the dish: Bagheli is Lima beans, not any other beans!
What a cheat! Called the Chef, a Bengali I think, did'nt speak English. Asked for the Manager, who started arguing with me that no one has complained so far! Eventually he relented, saying the Company tells him what to put in the dishes!
For all to know: there is no Black-eye Polo (Polo means rice) in Iranian cuisine!
What a cheat!
The rating of 1.0 is for two reasons:
1- there is no minus rating!
2- the manager eventually agreed to change my dish. He also apologized at the end and gave 10% discount.
I should have walked out, but what fault the kitchen staff?
I was in a discussion with an Iranian friend today about food and when we counted the number of old, authentic Iranian restaurants in Dubai, PARS immediately came to mind and i was reminded that this is a place I haven't reviewed yet.

I have to admit my last visit there was a while back before I turned Vegetarian and devoured their Kebabs. Back then I used to visit them every couple months especially in the cooler months as they have a nice outdoors with a majlis-style seating, which gave it a very nice and unique touch, which not a lot of places offer.

Their Kebabs were very nice, with Joojeh and Chelow Kebabs being my favorites. They offer the Lebanese sides like Hummous and things but they weren't as awesome.

PARS isn't the best Iranian restaurant I have experienced but definitely one of the good contenders and a nice outdoors option. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Iranian Kebabs.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but my experience today just bothered me to do it.

Extremely poor quality food with extremely high prices. Frozen meat being thawed to grill? Yuck.

Never visiting them again. 😣

I was slightly worried about eating here today after reading the reviews but my friend had been before & liked it.

The food was good but the highlight was the tea for me.

The served fresh bread & salad with cheese which was yum. We ordered a hummus to share & it was plenty between 3 of us.

They bought over some lentil soup for us to try & my friend thinking it was complimentary accepted it. However, due to reading the earlier review on here I asked how much it was & the waiter advised it was 17dhs. As it didn't look too appetising I declined & they didn't charge my friend for it after we said we should have been told it wasn't complimentary. My friend who is a soup fan said it was awful & needed seasoning so I'm glad I declined it.

For main, we all went for the chelo kebab kubideh which was lovely. Succulent & tasty kebabs accompanied by fresh rice.

For desserts, I was looking forward to the cream puffs everyone raved about but unfortunately they no longer do them - the waiter said to try the deira branch.

The tea was very good & I could have easily had another round.

Overall a great meal with good service which cost us about 85dhs each - we didn't have drinks just shared a large bottle of water.

Pars used to be my top destination for Iranian kebabs/grill, until a few years back. The standards in terms of food, service and value for money have plummeted in such magnitude that the franchise is staring at its grave. On the Eid weekend, I ordered a "meat barbecue for 3 persons" and a Daryeai Kebab (seafood grill with king fish and shrimp). My order was a take-away as I had guests over. The "barbecue for 3 people" was mediocre at best - the kebabs were dry and missed the Godly virtues of a well-cooked Chelo.

The REAL INJUSTICE begins with their Daryeai kebab. For AED 70, they packed 2 tiny pieces of rubbery shrimp and 3 small pieces of king fish. All this well hidden amidst a mountain of rice. Upon getting in touch with their call center, itself an arduous process, and waiting for 20 mins to speak to a manager (since the call center employee wouldn't tell me how many skewers of fish they are supposed to pack), I still could not get a straight answer as to how many pieces/skewers of fish I am supposed to receive for AED 70. (see attached pictures for the pieces of fish/shrimp- I am actually not kidding about the quantity).

As remedy, the manager offered his charity of "helping" albeit "tomorrow," since he was too busy due to Eid. I gave him my details, to see what he would come up with. Obviously I heard nothing back.

In summary:

- Quality of food has fallen to the pits. If you fancy a good Iranian meal, do yourself a favor and PLEASE go to Special Ustadi (should have been a no-brainer for me, except I wanted Iranian sea food).
- Service is atrocious.
- AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, in terms of value for money, Pars Iranian is the closest you shall come to getting ROBBED in Dubai.

Don't get me wrong; I have no qualms with paying for quality food. For example, Shabestan at the Radisson offers excellent Iranian food at higher than average prices. They provide value for money in terms of quality. PARS on the other hand charges AED 70 for a minuscule amount of poorly cooked fish.

I'd hope someone at Pars could be held accountable for my experience (and countless others in the reviews below) but that will remain a hope. It's obviously no surprise that their flagship open-air Satwa brunch has been shut down. With this level of service, I expect the entire franchise to disappear in a few years.

tl;dr => save a humiliating experience, eat Iranian food somewhere else.

First and last time there..Biggest mistake ever!!

After being seated we quickly found out there's no buffet.. We r ok with that..He said the salad bar is buffet hahahah and that was a joke!! Not 1 Iranian salad mostly Arabic salads and mezzas the trays were close to empty we were waiting for it to be refilled but that never happened.. So only a couple of us had salad, I for one couldn't be bothered it was so depressing anyway..

They brought us soup shortly after we were Seated..WE DID NOT ASK FOR IT, we assumed it was complimentary (after paying the bill we found out it wasn't) they charged us for it and we weren't even asked if we wanted "VOMIT" looking soup oh sorry "chicken soup" that we didn't even touch!! No pics as we asked them to take it away before we ordered the main course.

The food came pretty quickly and it was boring af and dry, the green rice had the wrong peas.. The place was freezing and filthy I don't know if they've ever cleaned the walls in the last 10years.. Nothing like the reputation it's supposed to have that we've heard off!!

They are getting a 2 rating for the chai and the friendly "non Iranian" staff!

Never again!!

Iranian tea & Sangak bread r so good here, kababs & stews are average same as many other Iranian restaurants in Dubai. Can't recommend it as there r many better choices in Dubai. If you like kababs visit Ostad kabab in Meena bazaar (al musalla rd), cheaper & much much better, if you like quality Iranian food & music in a family friendly atmosphere just visit Abshar restaurant in Deira (Al maktoum rd). I hope it helps. God bless you all.

Pars is one of the oldest and most popular Persian restaurants in Dubai. This particular branch dates back nearly 15+ years!

My family used to visit exclusively Pars every time we wanted a Persian meal. Over the years though, their quality and quantity started taking a dive whilst their prices started getting higher. We tolerated this for a long time until one fine day when a waiter added a 'ghost' main course item into the bill and the manager argued that we did consume it when we clearly didn't. Needless to say, we haven't been back since.

Besides, there are better Persian restaurants in town now that also have live entertainment and much better quality of food.

Was craving for some kebab kubeidah so dropped in here on a Friday for lunch. I think they get several orders for takeout since service was very very slow though there were only 3 tables occupied.
Any way the kubeidah was not hot and when we told the manager he exchanged our plate for a fresh off the stove kebab. Very very tasty. We had the mutton version. We also ordered the new chicken kebab and this was something very different. Sweet and tangy at the same time very well cooked. Good to have something different.

At the end we had the tea and it was complimentary since we waited for a while for our food. Excellent presentation.

Pars is one of the well-established, mid-priced Iranian restaurants which does everything well, not fantastic, but good enough. Their kababs are varied and authentic enough to please all but the die-hard kabab enthusiasts. My favourite is the shrimp kabab, something not everyone serves; certainly not well. It is simply delightful with a squirt of lime. But it’s their crowd pleasing mixed grills they are most famous for. Served with a combination of best-sellers – Lari, Joojeh, Koobideh, Shrimp and Fish there’s usually a kabab there to please everyone.

Their khoreshts (stews) are very good. I choose them rather than the kababs every time. If available when you visit, try the Ghormeh Sabzi – bite sized pieces of lamb stewed in a sautéed blend of fragrant herbs; mainly spinach, parsley, coriander, and seasoned with the key herb, dried fenugreek leaves (called shambalileh in Persian), which gives it its peculiar flavour. Pars does a decent Ghormeh Sabzi.

Also worth trying is their Baghali Polo Mahicheh – slow cooked lamb shanks served with rice infused with finely chopped dill and mixed-in broad (fava) beans – it’s absolutely brilliant. And then you have that lovely minted tea to have with Iranian profiteroles, or cream puffs (noon-khamei in Persian) from the Iranian Sweets Palace next door to end your meal – bah bah! It doesn’t get much better than that, hey?

I was craving some Iranian food when I came across pars which I hadn't been to in a very long time. Pars has been one of the oldest and traditional Iranian restaurants. I hadn't been to this satwa branch and so when I went inside I loved the very Iranian atmosphere and the servers were very polite. What I liked was that it's open throughout from opening to closing time, which works well if you have random eating hours.

I ordered the hummus which was very good, the lari-e-morgh and ayran buttermilk. The chicken was juicy, the rice was the traditional saffron rice and the ayran was very refreshing, especially for a humid afternoon. Completely satisfied my craving and felt amazing to wash it down with some Iranian black tea. Considering the atmosphere and the quantity of food, the pricing was very reasonable.

Right below my building, and a classic Iranian restaurant. Succulent and juicy kebabs are a favorite. My recommendation- have their mix grill n make it the major portion of your meal. The grill is filling enough and probably u can couple with a non-veg main course dish and their breads.

Pars was once our regular restaurant a few years back. Excellent food and service! Order a shisha to digest the meal and relax.

Unfortunately over time, the quality and quantity of the food has deteriorated. It's still worth a try for some decent irani food!

Don't miss out on their cream puffs! They are delicious! (I'm guessing they get them next door from Iranian sweet palace)

Give it a try if you're in the neighborhood!

If you are looking for very good quality Iranian Kabab with reasonableness price here is a good stop ! I've been living in dubai for almost 10years but last month for the first time I try their food and I shocked how good is their food and since then Im big fan that every week I order ! their Kabab Lari which its meat cubes marinated in Yogurt is sooo good which it comes with rice ! The portion size is more than enough for me and it comes with Cucumber Yogurt and Salad ! So if you crave for Iranian food go a head and try their Kababs !

One of the worst experiences of my life. The ambience was no doubt lovely but the food was nauseating. The meat had smell. Nothing had flavor.

This is definitely one of the hidden gems in Dubai

Live their mix grills and kebabs we order from there every rid for the whole family and never disappointed always comes with a salad and the amazing Iranian bread a definite recommendation for all

I would go here just for the Fathush(sadly I didn't get a picture) but wow that thing is addicting. We had also ordered the Cucumber Yogurt(also no picture) A Lari-E-Morgh and A Chelow Kabab-E-Soltani.

I loved The Chelow, it was tender, it was juicy, it was exactly what I wanted from a kabab.
If you do order that, then I suggest you put some of that Cucumber Yogurt on the bread they give you and add a piece of the meat to it. Wrap it up and enjoy. Trust me you WILL NOT regret it.

We just visited this restaurant. It was a random choice for us. We just wanted to try out Iranian cuisine. We were impressed with the quality of the food, and the service. We will definitely choose this restaurant quite often.

If you have never tried iranian food then i suggest you give it a go! The restaurant is situated in an awkward position, and not the best of location. Anyway don't judge till you try it!
Ambience inside is quiet with low level classical music playing. Interior is an iranian style design. They have small private rooms for people that want their privacy or open seating.

In iranian cuisine they start of with a plate of green leafy vegetables such as spinach leaves with walnuts, radish, feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumber served with crispy plain flat bread or sesame seed flat bread. This bread is freshly made in house by iranian chefs. Wow it's delicious! Even better it's served with compliments from the restaurant. Furthermore, their Lentil soup is very hearty and delicious. You have to also try their eggplant dish. This is mashed up eggplant with kaskh ( like a sour cream) with fried onion. It's like am entrée you would have with their bread. Delicious!
For their main my favourite is zhoreshk pollow ma morgh. This is stewed chicken with tomato based gravy, alongside rice with cranberries on top. It's amazing! I don't know what they do with their rice to make it so fluffy! I don't usually eat white rice but this is an exception:) Their portion size is huge and i usually share the main dish.
I've never tried their deserts as i am already full. However, they do nice iranian tea to end off your meal nicely. Service is prompt and staff are friendly. Prices are value for money..pretty damn cheap.
Pars never compromises their quality of their food and this is why I have been going here for the past three years.

If you are looking for mouth watering grilled food, Iranian style....this is it. The freshly baked Arabic bread is to die for. The ambience will take you back to the Mughal period. There are two Pars in satwa, one located in Jaliyah next to chelsea plaza hotel, which has a outdoor sitting also.
