Must try
Its a hidden gem for Mumbai good lovers. Both owner couples are always onsite to witness the smiles in diner's face which comes after taking first bite. Loved this place and foods. Must try for someone to satisfy Mumbai street foods.
Delicious food, finally got good food in Dubai.
Very nice food, authentic Mumbai taste, excellent tawa, hygienic food, very nice customer service.
An amazing “magaz” fry with very soft and tasty lacha paratha and the “Gajar Ka Halwa” is worth dying for!!👍👍.
Delicious tawa variety to try from. Love their mutton tawa roll and gurda kaliji. Must try for grill and tawa item lovers.
I have been ordering from this restaurant for a while for it's amazing food. Decided to dine in based online review of how passionate the couple running restaurant is. Its totally worth it, the food tastes even better with the warmth and love shown by the owners. Highly recommend others to dine in get a complete package of good food and good ambience
Lovely cozy little place. High quality food. A must visit
Dear All
This folks (couple) are angels .... Simply angels.
I am sure u will be confused whether to enjoy such a " Laziz " food or to just experince their so warm hospitality
To all, this place is must must visit.
Dont miss it
My all best wishes to the couple and entire team. There is very bright way ahead of you.
Gold bless
Quick delivery, friendly service, real tasty food ( does not taste like shan powder masala prepaprations). Good portion and high quality of food. Loved it!
Quantity of Chicken Angara was good enough for 1 person and chicken was cooked nicely. Flavor was good. But there was too much oil in chicken which was a big turn off. Hope management takes note of this.
We ordered from this lovely restaurant today and were truly happy with the quality of food. The kebabs and biryani were tasty and perfect for the price. Indeed i would say that for those who love kebabs in a healthy and tasty way, this is by far the best restaurant to visit. You are on top of my list and i will be coming back to you over & over again....so please keep the food tasty and ready. All the best.
Delivery pack was in a plastic carrybag. Individual packings were better. It was on time.
My orders were - Mutton and chicken shami kababs and Malpua with rabRi.
Mutton shami was really good, chicken was also was not bad. They were 3 pieces each for 16 dhs and 14 dhs respectively. Some tamarind and mint chutneys were inside the boxes with onion and beetroot slices.
Malpua was huge but rabRi was in a small cup, you have to take care not to finish up the rabRi before the malpua. I particularly liked the malpua, as it was not oily. It was not soaked in sugary juice. Interesting way of preparation. RabRi was the best I have ever taken in Dubai with some crushed roasted nuts over it. 5/5.
Nice food. Recommended.
Visited this place one of the weekends..tried their chicken baida roti, mutton seekh kebab and bombay chicken biryani..awesome taste..will visit again
Amazing restaurant with good food what a treat to taste buds... Like the rotis and the paratha it's just like cooked at home... Little less on quantity but sufficient. Keep the flavour burning guys it was an amazing lunch.
This place maybe small but serves food with all their heart ! Run by a sweet couple from Bombay .. they live up to their name ! Best known for its Chicken seekh Cutlet, Mutton kheema, Kebabs and biryani ! New and definately worth a try !

Miss Mumbai food . Amazing taste love it
Yummy food, loved Biryani and Baida Roti...authentic Mumbai Taste...
Well the name itself defines the restaurant delicacies - Bombay Tawa n Kebab
It's a must visit for the Kebab lovers to this bombay style servings..
Food Ordered:
1) Mutton Seekh Kebab - It was a mouth watering tender Mutton Seekh Kebab exactly what I had in Mumbai.. So finally now its in Dubai
2) Mutton Shami Kebab - This is again a must try with laccha paratha that blends the taste with soft medium minced mutton kebab
3) Chicken Baida Roti - This delicacy is rarely found in Dubai but this restaurant serves the best one with that gentle crisp stuffed with egg and Chicken
4) Dal Gosh with Zeera Rice - This combination is usually for lunch but when you see the adjacent table having the same.. You just can't stop yourself and had to order because of the fine fragrance of Garam Masala blended in Dal and Gosh served with Zeera Rice.
5)Gajar ka Halwa - Mitha toh banta hai after the finest dinner. Perfectly made with a proper portion of sweetness
6)Irani Chai - If you are from Mumbai then you can't leave this place without having a cup of tea.. Tea is just a tradition! It was fresh and Kadak!
I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5 for the quality of food and the authentic taste of Mumbai
Now comes the reason to leave this restaurant with smile and satisfaction is Rashida Aunty and Saleem Uncle - The Founders.. Just felt like we were their kids and they just served dinner for us. This will give you an emotional attachment to this restaurant
Everything so perfect and impeccable!!

tried this new place in karama small joint but we managed to get table coz of odd day.menu sticks to the concept of bombay3 typical food. taste was good can be improved .very hygenic . the service was not only given by the staff but also personal interest was taken by owners.overall a nice experience.
Very good food and very hospitality from the staff. I liked the food here specifically the Mutton shami kabab, firni and Mutton sheek biryani.
The best chicken bhuna I’ve ever had is here . Trust me the food quality and the quantity is totally worth the price . Also you can customise your food and they send you exactly the way you want it. 5 stars to you guys and I wish I could give more . Cheers to you guys and keep making such delicious food forever ❤️
Good joint to try Shaami kebab (Mutton/Chicken). Tried paneer butter masala, tawa chicken and magaz ghotala. Staff was courteous. Will come back to try other recipe. Good deal on Zomato Gold.
Saw this place on gulf news and decided to give it a try...everything we ordered was lipsmacking...special mention to the baida roti, tandoori chicken and the desserts which I did not wait to click pictures..only disappointment is the place is too small to dine in.
One of the most hospitable owners of a restaurant I have ever met with. The food is amazing and they've got a daily special which I will be trying over the next few weeks. The biryani is bomb. The daal gosht is very good and the mutton tawa is superb. Ive loved it all - (and no, we didn't go there for a review). We went there on reference ♡
The food was very tasty..loved it
Throwback back to my first bloggers meet as Hungerholic ❤️
Was a good lunch with different variety of dishes of both veg and non-veg. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is family friendly and is good for small gatherings with good food at a affordable prices.
The only issue would be with seating as it could get a bit conjusted but is good for group of 3/4 max.
I hope to see them grow 🙏 the owners are really sweet and kind.
FOODGASM is what I experienced here at Bombay Tawa & Kebabat Karama.
The last time I had Bombay khichda like here was 3 years back at Mohd. Ali rd (the famous food gully) in Mumbai.
The Bombay khichda here was just simply amazing. I licked every last bit of it. Well cooked & creamy with perfect toppings. I recommend this place to all the khichda & Haleem lovers.
The owner here has promised me something very delicious dish the next time.
So my next review will be coming soon.
I visited Bombay Tawa N Kebab restaurant for lunch today.
Bombay Tawa N Kebab is a small restaurant located in Karama near Bikanerwala.
Our order
1) Chicken Roll
2) Shammi Kebab Chicken and Mutton.
3) Mutton Seek Kebab
4) Chicken Tikka Masala
5) Bombay Chicken Briyani
6) Tawa roti and Rumali roti
The Mutton Shammi Kebabs and Chicken rolls were quite nice. The chicken tikka in the Chicken tikka masala could have been a little more tender.
Overall it was a good meal.
A small restaurant managed by a couple with big hearts... They don't just sell food but indeed serve you with lots of love...
We tried mutton pulao, gurda kaleji, yakhni pulao, mutton tawa roll, dal gosh with bagara rice... All their dishes are delicious... Mumbaikars missing the street food should definitely visit to try their rolls and tawa dishes...
Have visited here a couple of times.. You don't need to think twice before ordering anything... #mustryinkarama

I recently visited this place to try out their extensive variety of dishes. The best part is, each dish had those home-like flavors to it, which definitely added that extra touch. It's run by this adorable couple, who surely make you feel like home, when you visit their restaurant. Moving on to the dishes we tried.
Shammi kebab (Mutton/Chicken)
Baida Roti
Rolls
Akhni Pulao
Mutton with roti
Gajar ka halwa
My favorites were the mutton shammi kebab, akhni Pulao, baida roti and mutton rolls. Ofcourse, not to forget the delicious gajar ka halwa. The flavors were bang on, and oh so delicious!
Recently visited this restaurant. They serve north Indian cuisine including some very special Mumbai street food dishes. Here are the dishes I got to try:
- Baida roti
- Russian Kebab
- Mutton Akhni Pualo
- Mutton Bhuna
- Gajar Halwa
Everything tasted really-really good. Very homely flavors. Make sure to try whatever you can off the menu. You’ll enjoy for sure.
The place is a bit small and can accommodate about 10-15 people. But take away is recommended. They portion size to price ratio is pretty good. Definitely a restaurant to visit for the food.
My search for a to go restaurant ends here. This is it. Home away from home. Perfect food. Value for money.
FOOD, FOOD & FOOD
It's not difficult to find Good Food served of a 5 star restaurant atmosphere in a Metropolitan city Dubai. But the coziness, love, ghar ka feel and Maa ka haath ka Khanna is rare to find in Dubai. That's why HOME Cooked Food always have a special place not just in Tummy but HEART & MIND = HAPPINESS. The restaurant at first glance is small but once inside about 15 people can be accommodated. Interiors are done at a cute level with live kitchen cooking so yeah all the restaurant guidelines followed. This restaurant is owned by 2 elderly couple Saleem & Rashida Dhanani. First of all I would love to give my Salute and My Duas to the Elderly couple who is running this restaurant because of their PASSION & RESPECT TOWARDS FOOD. Their strength to run as Husband and Wife team or duo is another commendablity and COUPLE GOALS. Now about the name of the restaurant Bombay comes from the wifes version of cooking and spices while the Tawa N Kebab comes from the husbands side of cooking and spices.
Menu at the moment is based on serving some of the Mumbaikars street Mughlai cuisine and the mini version of Bademiyan of Mumbai. Started with Maa ka haath khanna specials Chicken Russian Kebabs and Mutton Shammi Kebabs. One of the best Shammi kebabs with fillings that are lip smackingly delicious with every bite and cooked well done with soo much Love. There was not a chewy portion in the mutton shammi as it was so tender and worth it. Russian shammi was a totally new and happy that the invention is going to be a real Hit for the Adults and kids alike. Seriously impressed came in the Chicken Spring Rolls. The innovation spring rolls I would like to say because we all had the typical spring rolls but the filling was spicy mumbai chickens rolled inside the white omelette covered in the dough. Yeah the flavors, savory and crispness was a merry to the tummy. From the Tawa section came the Chicken Tikka Boneless. Fresh chicken juicy and tenderness level super High. Fresher the chicken the better the marination done overnight merges in. When charcoalised so yummy and delicious.
Went to this Tiny Resteraunt in Karama this weekend and was amazed by the service and the mesmerising food they had to offer. Newly opened Restaurant by Mr Salim the owner and met his Very friendly wife too made the day fame and my family with their friendly nature and great food. We ordered Shami kebab which were one of the best in town, Mutton Akni pulao was as good as it gets really well cooked and perfect blend of spices, Chicken tandoori was the best I had in Dubai till date really was with Mr Salim’s special recipe. But the day belong to the best dish of the day Specially Made by Mr Salim him self thank you for that Bheja masala fry.. just heavenly taste too good Every day I can have that so perfectly made. Would definitely visit again soon to try more dishes and they are going to start the fish menu too... If you are looking for a. Bombay style food restaurant this is the go to place ... Superb Keep it up..
Spicy tawa mutton is the dish which brought us here second time, moreover 30% off on Zomato gold.
A regular eater here. The food is delicious and reminds of home cooked food. Everything from tawa to rice is delicious. A hidden gem in karama
I don't know where to begin with. Amazing food Amazing hospitality and definitely cost effective too. Tried many restaurants claiming to have"Bombay" or "Mumbai" in their names but this one truly has the spirit in it. Lovely cozy place in Karama newly opened as I found it through the new places list on Zomato and for sure I'm thankful that I visited this restaurant. The Akhni pulao made me feel exactly like I'm eating it at my home in Mumbai. The tikkas were great, juicy and full of flavour. The chicken rolls Will surely give you the nostalgia as of you're having them alongside the streets of Mumbai.
Also the dudhi halwa (dessert) which Saleem uncle presented to us complimentarily was mesmerising.
This is definitely gonna be my go to place whenever there's a craving for homely food. And the hospitality is definitely wanna make you visit this place time and again.
We are definitely gonna be back, this time with even more of our pals.
Sorry for not posting the pictures as the food was so tasty that we couldn't resist gulping it down.
Loved the food and the homely gesture of the owners of this restaurant. If u miss home cooked food this is the place to go. Fresh chicken and mutton used. Less oil used. Personal touch to the food by the sweet aunt will make u eat a little more. We ordered mutton shami kabab, chicken Russian cutlets, mutton bhuna and chicken shahzani. Their rotis were soft and fresh. What I personally loved the most was the home made dudi halwa towards the end which was given complimentary to us. So delighted ! Definitely going there again and definitely recommend this place !
I had recently visited this restaurant with my parents. Its a nice and cozy spot in Karama really enjoyed the food they served. They specialize in Authentic Mumbai street food. Out of all the places I have tried Which serve Authentic street food I have to say that these guys were one of the best. Eating food at the restaurant gave me a very home-like feeling. They use all fresh ingredients.
We started our dinner by ordering some starters
For Non-Veg starters
We ordered the Chicken Shami Kabab, Mutton Shami Kabab, and some Mutton and Chicken Rolls.
The Shami Kababs were perfect no flavor was overpowering and its the best I have had in UAE hands down
The Mutton and Chicken rolls were not at all oily which made it a delight to have it.
We also ordered the Chicken malai tikka which was cooked well.
For Veg starters
We tried the Veg rolls and Veg Russian Kababs. The Russian Kababs was yummy and had a creamy texture to it. They made a Chicken Russian kababs into a Veg dish and I'm not complaining it is definitely a must-try dish.
For Veg and Non-Veg main course we had
For veg, we ordered the palak paneer. I haven't eaten palak panner for a long time since I dislike the dish but the palak panner these guys made was phenomenal. The taste of the palak was not at all prominent which made it perfect for me.
For Non-veg, we ordered butter chicken. The butter chicken was creamy and had a thick consistency to it.
For Dessert had Gajar ka halwa the halwa itself wasn't very sweet and in my opinion a good thing.
Overall if you guys really enjoy Mumbai street food then this is your go-to place.
If you craving for some soul homely cooked kitchen kind of food , this restaurant is your ultimate stop.

This newly opened restaurant in karama is a gem. If you live away from home and highly miss your " maa ke haath ka khaana" then this place is for you. Extremely humble owners, the highlight of my dinner was that the owner-who I address as "aunty" herself made the bhindi for us which I think was lovely and ofcourse bhindi was delicious.
We also ordered for the mutton shame kabab-briliant for the price.
Rotis were amazingly soft and fresh - best part they only use wheat flour which is rare to find here
Then my most favourite was the yakhni mutton pulav, the best I've eaten.

People need to know this place to try out a home made style food!
Worth the money spent place.
Bombay Tawa N Kebab is a new Indian restaurant in Karama. Located opposite Betawi on 4 B Street, it sits within (winter) walking distance of some heavy hitting competition, not least Dhaba Lane, Arsalan and newcomers Lucknowee and Mumbai Hafta (to name but a few). BTNK’s interior is simple, clean and homely – a reflection of owner, Chef Salim, himself a veteran of the region’s culinary scene. He talks about Bombay Tawa N Kebab as if its one of his grandchildren; from the freshest ingredients they use to the secret recipes to the fact that there is no microwave in their kitchen – no reheats. BTNK is his labour of love.
If you want to try authentic Mumbai street food style in Dubai. this is the place to be. Loved every bit off. It's a small restaurant serves some delicious food. Tried the baida roti, Russian kababs, pullao and mutton Tawa it was fantastic. The owners are extremely sweet and welcoming. Feel at home. Try them out!
I have always felt that there is a lack of restaurant's in Dubai that serves the amazing non-veg street food available in Bombay's Muhammed Ali Road and it's surrounding areas. So when I was recently invited to the newly opened Bombay Tawa and Kebab, I was happy to note that this gap will be taken care off quite well.
The space is small but the owners (a lovely couple from Bombay whose family receipes are cooked by them) and staff more than make up for it with their hospitality and friendliness.
We tried the following dishes from their extensive menu of delicious items -
Mutton and chicken egg rolls - Fried crispy on the outside with a spicy mixture of mutton/chicken and egg. Different from the Kathi rolls and very tasty it's in own right.
Mutton Shammi kebabs - Extreamly soft and really good taste. I would go back just to have this by itself.
Chicken Russian kebab - Similar to a Shammi kebab but this has minced chicken with grated boiled eggs in the mixture. Very tasty as well.
Mutton and chicken Baida roti - A staple street food of Bombay with a crispy egg fried paratha that has mutton and chicken stuffed on the inside. Another must try dish.
Mutton main dish - This was prepared as a special dish by the owner and Chef Mr Saleem Dhanani and it was chunks of boneless mutton in a thick well spiced gravy with onions. I don't know the name of it but it was genuinely very tasty with laccha parathas.
Mutton Akhni pulao - This was the restaurant's signature dish prepared in the families generational receipe and it was very tasty. It had subtle flavours of a broth that the rice was cooked in with pieces of potato and mutton. I am a big fan of biryani so I don't typically like pulao but this had a really nice flavour to it.
Gajar ka halwa - Very nicely looked and tasted just like it's made at home. Definitely a must try when it's in season.
Overall I had a great meal and I would recommend going to this restaurant to taste some unique non-veg dishes from Bombay. The staff is friendly and service is efficient. The friendliness and passion for cooking good food comes across when you meet the owners and that is not something you find in all restaurants.
We have visited the resturant based on word of mouth and zomato review. We were not dissapoibted. The food was tasty fresh and warm. Their tawa biryani was average but zamzam biryani was yummy and must try. Their grills were amazing too. Fridays speciality dish dal gosht and bagaraa rice was awesome. The owner and its staff hospitality was superb. A must visit place its small but cozy.
We are ordering food since 2 months now.During this covid time we tried couple of restaurants for home delivery and finally settled down with this restaurant.
Firstly food is very fresh and well marinated. There service is too good. We never had stomach upset or anything with the food. They have what's app and every day menu they update. Over all it's like a homemade food
One of the amazing places in Dubai to enjoy Mumbai style street food.
It's a small lovely place in Karama, in the heart of Dubai.
We ordered for following-
1. Mutton egg roll- 5/5. Amazing stuff. Very different from Kolkata or north Indian style rolls
2. Chicken egg roll- stuffed with generous amount of chicken. Crisp from outside. Soft from inside. 5/5.
3. Shammi kebab- very soft and well cooked. 4/5.
4. Chicken russian cutlet- very different and innovative style of cutlet. 4/5.
5. Malai tikka- very soft and creamy tikka. 4/5.
6. Baida roti- we loved this one..5/5.

8. Chicken biryani- amazing biryani.. full of flavours. 4/5.
9. Gajar ka halwa- very nicely cooked. 4/5.
Overall a great meal. Kudos to entire team!
My Experience with Bombay Tawa and Kebab Restaurant was one of the unique Restaurant i would rate one of the best Restaurant in Dubai . as soon as i ordered food, The Restaurant Manager came up to me to take my order, and i was amazed with his knowledge, he suggested that the Mutton Pulao is one of the best Dish they have, so i ordered for the same. true to his knowledge as soon as my Tawa Mutton Pulao was served, my mouth was watering with the aroma and the smell and when i took the first bite, i was so impressed that Mutton Pulao was one of the best Dish i ever had in my life.
The Yakhni pulao was amazing and the chicken tikka was succulent, tender and marination on point. The quality of ingredients and meat is definitely superior to most restaurants in the area. We tried the bheja fry as well which had a very homely flavor, would have preferred it to be spicier to replicate the byculla - Mohammed ali road feel.
