The place is very relaxed with Mexican vibe. Mucha lucha animation type decoration, one of a kind..🌮 tacos are really tasty and sublime.

I'm speechless! This is by far the best authentic Mexican Restaurant in town! From the selection of cocktails and margaritas, enchiladas, nachos, quesadillas, empanadas, all the way to the famous dessert called churros and probably the most phenomenal dessert known as tres leches and ugh!I could go on with a long list!! When fusion food is commonly known in any types of cuisine, this restaurant right here sticks to its authenticity!!!
This was our first visit to La Tablita. The ambience is good with some Mexican music. Distance is maintained between tables and place looks clean and hygienic too.
We loved the chips and dips.
Tres leaches cake was super delicious. Definitely coming back for that.
Quesadillas were good.
We liked the chicken molcajetes, good for 2-3 people.
We had also ordered tacos. It was average I would say. It Wasn’t crispy and dint taste the best.
And one more thing is that you need more options in virgin drinks and juices.
Apart from that it’s a good place to have some good food and chill.

We visited the restaurant last week July 2020. Safe to dine in, staff is protected clean sanitize table and secure place to trust to dine out during this pandemic. Good service quick food server and delicious tacos.
I absolutely loved this place. The music is really nice, makes the atmosphere really great. The food was fantastic, best mexican food i've had in the UAE. Especially the volcancito campechano taco which was succulent. The beef fajitas were really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would surely come back.
We had checked the timings on zomato which were bar timings and reached after kitchen close. Yamila was managing the restaurant that night and was kind enough to convince the chef to cook us some excellent tacos. We went home very happy and satisfied. Absolutely delicious

Being a foodie, I had very mixed thoughts about trying out the vegan menu and La Tablita however was pleasantly surprised with the unique vegan Mexican creations. I was here one weekday evening and enjoyed the ambience, food and service here. I must say that the service is impeccable and the vibe just got better with the place getting busier. The menu was initially crafted for an exclusive Vegan Wednesday however I was told that this is now available all days of the week.
We started our experience the mocktails – the La Canica and the El Atascaditio. My love for watermelon made me choose the La Canica that has watermelon, mint, lime juice and sugar syrup however I enjoyed the other mocktail as well which had orange, pineapple, coconut juice and grenadine.
In the starters we had the Ensalada de Nopales, the most interesting salad I’ve had that has Mexican cactus, onion, cherry tomatoes, radish and avocado. I was apprehensive to try the Mexican cactus but one bite into the salad, we were binging on it. We also tried the Vegan Nachos with black beans, roasted tomato sauce, avocado sauce, coriander and jalapenos. I missed the cheese on these though however they were irresistible as is.
From the tacos we tried a variety and enjoyed all of them. The flavors, the taste and the use of ingredients is perfect. We had the Dorado de Frijol that has crispy fried beans, lettuce and roasted tomato sauce. There was then my favourite, the avocado in the Frijol con Aguacate and the Baja de Aguacate. The first one has refried beans, avocado, lettuce, onion and tomato and the Baja de Aguacate has battered avocado and cabbages salad. Avocado in all forms and I simply loved it. We also had the Baja de Elote that has battered baby corn and cabbage salad.
After relishing the salads and starters, we could not eat more. We only tired the Enchiladas Morita from the mains that is a morito spicy sauce, zucchini stew, lettuce, radish and refried beans served with Mexican rice. This can be a meal by itself.
We ended the meal with a Vegan Croustillant Praline and a Vegan Coconut and Mango Delight. It would be difficult to say that these are vegan as the desserts were creamy and perfect!
A friend recommended La Tablita and I finally had the chance to try it today - and I'm so glad I did.
Had the best Tortilla Soup and Ceviche ever. And the fajitas were also incredibly good. Unfortunately I saw so many good things on the menu that I didn't have any space left for Tacos. But I will definitely be back to try them.
The servers, cooks and Staff were all from Mexico / South America and we're extremely friendly and did a great job.
For anyone thinking about going there - try the Friday brunch or the taco Tuesday offer. I can highly recommend la tablita for anyone who is looking for some yummy Mexican food in Dubai.
Went to la Tablita for our Christmas family dinner... loved the Christmas vibe, decor and ambience. The staff was quick and great with their service. Ordered quite a few dishes and enjoyed each and every one of them.
What a beautiful place, we came here for brunch and although the place was empty the ambiance was lovely and me and my big group enjoyed our time. The price was reasonable and the service was great. If you want the best margaritas in UAE you should go there

Went there with a couple of friends, we had several types of tacos which were all fantastic, beef was slightly smelly but not a huge bummer.
What i didn't like was the size of the quesadilla, i mean the price is too high for the portion served which you can see in the enclosed photos
Staff were friendly and helped choosing food, one of the friends doesn't have an experience with Mexican food but the waiter was very patient and informative

I do give it 5 stars for the food quality and fun entertainment on fridays. Really nice and chilled place.
However i would request the buffet to have some options without onions and some diet sweets... it was pretty limited for a buffet. Buuuuuut having fun there overturned the whole experience: it was fun, tasty and very relaxing

Ambience : lovely, inviting decor,good music; sprawling, loads of Mexican themed masks and scrawlinngs on the walls... I loved the mask pathway that directs visitors from the entrance of the hotel to the restaurant .. quite enjoyed the walk and looking at the masks on the floor :)
What we ordered :Camarones with mushrooms were to die for
Enchiladas de verdes- had a bit of an after taste that I could neither fathom nor fall for!!
Tacos-
mole chicken had a bit too cinnamon
Pascadillos- battered fish was allrite
Grilled paneer- possibly the best of the lot we ordered
Churros were the highlight - hot, crispy outside, soft inside, anddunked in sugar crystals, with a little cute jar of hot chocolate sauce to take it to another level!!
My jalapeño margarita had a kick that woke you up everytime you took a sip.. so highly recommended..
The tamarind margarita was too sweet for my liking..
My husband was driving and decided to go for a couple of sweet mock tails - nothing he would repeat I guess..
The place is big enough to cater to parties, but even at half full I felt o had to fight for the attention of the very pleasant and smiley servers..
Hit to the pocket- aah I totally did not utilize the entertainer voucher which was only applicable on the mains!! But at aed 450 -for the ambience and the churros and the margaritas and overall not so bad food.. I would say it was worth it:)
Would I return? Aah for a chance to wear a sombrero on a special day and be serenaded and get some immediate attention from the staff ;) ! Oh the jalapeño cocktail too!
I visited the restaurant for a birthday celebration and it was completely ignored however the staff is really nice and friendly. The chicken in two dishes was not well done at all. It was tasting horrible I just had to leave it however the churros and nachos was the best. I still crave for the churros. Will come back for it again

7 years living here finally I found this hidden gem in Dubai. It 's gonna be first time to rate a restaurant with 5 stars in zomato, totally deserved.
The environment it is awesome with latino vibes, good touch and service super friendly. Karen is a fantastic waitress she is super helpful and attentive.
We tried a selection of tacos with really good taste, I would recommend volcancito, arrachera, costilla, camarón, tinga de pollo and dorado... All of them were super tasty. I will recommend 100%this place to everyone and definitely I'll be back soon. They have good offers and specials. We were full with all the rounds of tacos that we had so next time we will try for sure their famous tres leches cake.

Celebrated a special occasion in this joint and it was fun. The place was quite lively and had a good ambiance. It was busy for an odd day. We were given the drinks and food menu. They also gave us the Vegan menu. I asked to taste the wine before ordering and I was given 3 red wine options. We were given complimentary nachos with 3 dips. The spicy dip was amazing. We ordered for 4 main course and used our zomato gold facility. The portion of the food could have been better. The food was had perfect Mexican flavours. The service could have been better as we had to remind the staff to for refillings

The restaurant atmosphere is really good especially if you like Latino vibes. The waiters are amazing and all speak Spanish and English. They taught us how to danse salsa, it was an amazing experience ! In terms of food, the milk cake is really good. Too bad that the menu doesn’t have a lot of options though.
The tacos were all really good but the duck taco was by far my favorite. The meat was lean with the perfect spice kick.
The guacamole and quesadilla were top notch!

Nestled in the heart of the Hyatt Regency in Dubai is colorful Mexican Restaurant, La Tablita. Adorned in fun and multi-hued relics from Mexico like Pinatas and Molcajetes and more, the restaurant is perfect for both a fun night or an elegant dinner, the choice is yours. We were invited to try out Taco Tuesdays and here are some of our favorites from the menu:
Barbacoa: 24 Hour Slow-Cooked Shredded Lamb
Camello: Camel And Sun-Dried Black Pepper Stew
Nopales Con Queso: Mexican Cactus With Halloumi And Tatemada Sauce
Camel meat in tacos, I mean cmon, that is plain irresistible, especially for camel meat fans like myself. It was one of the best that we just couldn't stop ordering! Even when we were pretty much full to the brim, we ended up splitting one last one because we just couldn't leave without one more. There are more options to choose from the Taco Tuesdays menu, including beef (which we don't eat). We paired the food with some delicious drinks and then it was time for dessert. And boy, the churros and the tres leches cake opened up my dessert stomach instantly. The crunchy churros were brilliant and the creamy sauces to go with it were great too. But it was the tres leches that captured all the senses and thankfully, it was quite a generous slice to boot.
Take my word for it, you CANNOT leave La Tablita without feasting on the Tres Leches; whether you've eaten more than your heart's content or not, the tres leches is a must have. Trust me, you won't regret it!
A stay at the Hyatt stirred me towards La Tablita, being a tex-mex lover this was perfect.
The same night we had it was Taco Tuesday. We were served some fresh gauco & nachos. The nachos were baked perfectly. For dinner, we had the vegetarian soft tacos & bean enchiladas. But the best of all was the Tres Leches cake which was made to perfection.
The sponginess was just perfect, a must try for a sweet tooth person.

We had the most amazing dining experience at La Tablita. Our server, Ms Yamila was very friendly. Since it was our first time, she recommended us a few dishes and they were indeed the best Mexican dishes we have had.
The highlight was the main dish Molcajete. Its unlike anything I have ever had. It makes a grand entrance in a steaming stone pot sizzling with juicy meat, grilled veggies and cheese in a mildly spicy, tangy divine sauce. It comes with a side of soft tortillas so you can make your own tacos. I can't end the review without mentioning their amazing guacamole. You'd be surprised at the freshness and richness of this simple yet mouthwatering dish coupled with the crispy nachos and sauces. You can almost smell the authenticity of their food in every bite you take. We will definitely come back.

The sprawling Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights houses award-winning Mexican restaurant, La Tablita and we were invited to try this gem out recently where we discovered why this restaurant has the reputation that it does. Decked out in colorful garb and equipment from Latin America, predominantly Mexico, La Tablita is a spacious, classy yet quirky with vibrant piñatas and ponchos on one side, traditional grinding bowls, vivid vegetables and artistic decals on another. It is the ideal place for both a sophisticated gathering and a fun party! Our tasting at the restaurant was scheduled for one of their theme nights, Taco Tuesdays, which basically gets you unlimited tacos off a set menu for AED 119 only. The Taco Tuesday menu features eight diverse tacos that cater to meat eaters and vegetarians so no one will be left hungry. Here is what we ate:

Must admit, my wife and enjoyed our experience at La Tablita. It was easy to find and the decor quite appealing. There are some theme nights where the DJ spins live music but on the Friday we went, Spanish music was playing from the sound system. Entertaining to say the least. They offer tortilla chips and a verity of dips, complementary as a starter while you wait for your order, which we appreciated. The main itself was satisfactory. We both ordered the Sea Bass on a bed of salsa rice with vegetables. The fish was cooked to perfection. Mouth watering and juicy as it should be. The staff were very pleasant and quick to assist. Great experience and we’ll definitely recommend and come back!

Long story short, I was really pissed when the taxi driver took us to the wrong Hyatt Regency which took almost an hour only to reach the right hotel. And when we got there, we were told that the restaurant was fully booked from 6pm-9pm which got me even more upset and frustrated.
But what happened next changed everything.
As we were walking out towards the main entrance of the hotel in frustration, we were stopped by the MANAGER of La Tablita and he apologised about the fully book situation. Then, he offered us to sit at a different restaurant on the other side but we can have food ordered from his restaurant's menu. Next, what amazed me was that he delivered the meals himself from his restaurant which we were seated far away and I was honestly impressed as I thought he will ask one of his waiters to do it. After placing our meals on the table, he was so very kind to explain the dishes to us which I thought was very attentive of him. Also, while having our meals, he came to check on us to see how are we doing with the meals. And by the way, the food was amazing which was with the help of him giving us amazing options from the menu.
All in all, we had an amazing first-time experience at this restaurant and I'm looking forward to coming back with my friends and family.
p/s: I was introduced to this restaurant by a colleague of mine who loves this restaurant and now I understand why.

Walk into a fun Mexican experience with La Tableya as soon as you even enter the hotel. Buzzing with colors, music, decor and great tasting food, this place is Mexico far away from Mexico itself. We walked in feeling the vibe and the staff assured to keep us entertained. The Thursday night was a Mexican fiesta night which was also the salsa night featuring different kinds of salsa for all taste buds at the restaurant. The carnival also included performances and themed dress ups. Here is what we tried at the buffet:
Oysters with red chili sauce and cheese, black rice with shrimps and scallops, sweet and sour seafood ceviche (which I absolutely loved), Mexican chicken shawarma tacos with pineapple (omg yum), beef and veal quesadilla, vegetarian corn tortilla and picadas. The amazing mention goes out to the guacamole which was really out of this this world and one of the best I have ever tasted. You will not stop once you start. Yum o meter for that: 10/5..

Churros, the milk cake with 3 kinds of milk and a yummy soft cake, there was also a chocolate fondue with an array of a whole lot of other Mexican specialities.
This is now my go to Mexican joint when ever I crave for a good Mexican meal.
We stayed at Hyatt Regency Dubai creek last time and i must say that this is one of the highlights of my birthday weekend. Lively music and authentic Mexican foods! Staff were very welcoming. A tad on the expensive side but the experience pays for itself.

One thing we didnt like at all: the live singer 🙈 it was too much and too loud for an empty reataurant. We were there from 7pm till around 9 or 10pm and she kept on singing. Really sorry but 7pm is too early for this :D

Delicious food and friendly staff. The place has a nice ambiance and was definitely worth going. The only thing that could be improved is the non alcoholic drink selections(mocktails) There is just 4 of them and to have a few more options would be great.
I really liked the place and the way it was decorated. Very simple, yet stylish and full of colors. It gives you a holiday feeling.
I recommend the Nachos for sharing, and the dorado taco. These are really yummy! Their desserts are simply delicious. Churros and Jalapeno milk cake are a must, even when you feel full!

Excellent food topped with great service specially by our server Shamila. The restaurant staff were very friendly, knew their menu well. They sang for my mum's birthday in Mexican and provided complimentary cake. We all were given some sombreros to sport. Such great fun.

We ordered 2 tacos and fajita plate with empanadas de queso , and churros they already serve you complimentary nachos with 3 dippings all the food we ordered is amazing it’s so delicious . Their staff is so lovely since they did a surprise party for me after the dinner the staff danced with us & everything was perfect will defiantly go again and again !!

A dear friend recommended this venue and he was right, La Tablita offers genuine Mexican food.
I had the Tuna and Octopus Ceviches and both of them were fresh, spicy and well balanced with acidity. In addition I tried the Taqueria and precisely the Dorado, Lengua, Volcancito and again all well executed and tasty.
My favorite was the Volcancito but the problem is that all this food stimulates you to drink more Tequila!
I had 2 traditional Margarita, first was just right but the second one had way too much sour mix.
Last but not least, I ordered the Quesadilla which was my last favorite dish, consistency was not right and I felt a wired acidity coming true.
I ate everything.
Service was good and very knowledgeable but unfortunately once the place started to get busy, she got too occupied, too bad.
I’ll be back for more!
This place is dope it is at the 32 nd floor of the hotel and provides the perfect ambience for evening drinks the nachos and guacamole will steal your attention but tacos will just steal your heart the portions were well and was quite value for money (if talking about rates in dubai).

Awesome place! The decor and ambiance is worth a visit. Being a vegetarian there is not much choice but over all it’s a must visit if you like Mexican cuisine. The strawberry margaritas were amazing.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’ve always been impressed with the food, the vibe and the staff. The service can sometimes be a bit slow but everything else makes up for it and the restaurant tends to get quite busy. The atmosphere is very vibrant and they have live music too.
As for the food, it’s always fresh, tasty and well presented. I’ve never been disappointed with the food.

Have been here atleast 3 times. The Food, the ambience and the people are amazing! The finger food with a couple of drinks with the girls were just a perfect way to bring in the birthday. Try their fish soft tacos and their fresh guacamole. The churros with chocolate sauce is just Divine!!!
Mexican food is a cuisine we like A LOT and La Tablita brings about an authentic Mexican menu with some contemporary twists. To start of, the Tacos are an experiment on their own; pretty creative and quite interesting from a flavor point of view.
We ordered La Pastor, with chicken and pineapple; Camello, with camel meat; Camarón, with battered shrimp; Tinga de Pollo, with chipotle chicken. All in all a creative and interesting selection of Tacos.
We also ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was simple, yet flavorful and authentic and finally a mix of beef and chicken fajitas, which were definitely sizzling.
In the meantime, our server Juan took great care of us and was attentive - he even convinced us that the Churros were a must-have and their were a delicious conclusion to the meal. The atmosphere is pretty cool as well!
Definitely try it out and go crazy with the Tacos.
