I booked Farriers for a private function on Friday the 21st for 25 people. We had our own private area of the restaurant and had high quality table service. The drinks package they offered us was fantastic. The food was high quality, tasty, and the staff were incredibly attentive to three vegetarians in the group and one who was celiac. This level of attentiveness at a private function really makes a huge difference. They also offered us a very good deal for ‘after-drinks’ at a different venue in the hotel, which I thought was a very nice touch.
Overall, it was a very successful night with staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you :)

We stayed at The Meydan Hotel recently when in Dubai and dined here twice.
Primarily, the Buffet Breakfast was elaborate with Continental dominating the fare.
Lovely Live Eggs with Toast, Cereals in Skimmed Milk and some lovely refreshing Watermelon Juice would be a great start to the day.
Ambience is just lovely overlooking the Racecourse.
Bon Appetit :)
Great Place to have brunch with little ones and to enjoy a very good buffet with multiple choices of cuisine types ( Asian, European, Middle Eastern, ) and
They offer a sumptuous buffet that assembles delicacies from around the globe featuring takoyaki to tacos, seafood to steak, risotto to delectable desserts. Kids can run free at the play zone, enjoy the bouncy castle, as well as arts and crafts besides numerous other exciting activities. We enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere that was complemented by views of the Meydan Racecourse and the Dubai skyline with a DJ playing amazing music.
The view from the restaurant and ambiance was really good. Service was also good. We went for lunch to the restaurant and the food was okay. Variety at the buffet was not as extensive as other restaurants in Dubai. Vegetarian food was very limited.
Great food, service and ambience. Desserts, Tea and coffee options after Iftar are a very nice addition. Good value for money too. Would recommend.
A lovely place. I went for brunch with my family. They offered many activities for kids; play area, face painting, magician, etc. there was also a station for kids that they can walk through by themselves. Outdoors barbecue and a band and of course food everywhere.. will definitely repeat...
Really nice time today at Farriers...a big variety of tasty food and exceptional service! I needed to change my reservation twice and they obliged with no hesitation...Thank you guys...Will surely return!
Our dining experience was fabulous! We went for a weekend brunch and we had the most amazing dining experience! The place is fantastic and the variety of food was good! The service is the staff is beyond great! We enjoyed our time at this place

Tucked away in the fancy hotel that is Meydan, Farriers is one of the few options that are offered at the grandest race track in Dubai. Farriers offers exceptional views outside for you to enjoy during the winter and you could still enjoy the restaurant during the summer, albeit only at night. The restaurants offer a great view of the entire race course and I am sure they offer a fantastic afternoon tea experience.
One of the top luxurious Friday brunch we can enjoy here in The Meydan Hotel with the spectacular view of horse racing field. The variety of food you can choose from is more varied than anywhere else you can find in Dubai. Seafood choices are just terrific!
Amazing!!!! Went there for Eid Brunch and I just can’t explain how good the food was.
I did not try anything that wasn’t absolutely perfectly made and delicious. The view was fabulous and the service was very good!
Highly recommended
Nice quiet place
Friendly staff and helpful as well ( charged my phone)
Price is fair taking into consideration the variety of courses and salads; in addition to drinks; price include tea and coffee ( not all types; ask before you order)
If you are looking for a place to relax and to enjoy your meal; this is your place!
Place, food and staff is nice..except for 1 lady staff who gave us first small table which we are not fit..we complain but she insist to add only 1 chair do that we will fit..tnx for another guy staff verish if i am not mistaken with the name.. who let us used 6 seater table.. keep it up hood staff. Restaurant is not only the place and food.. it is also how you treat customers..
My immediate impression when we entered the restaurant was not impressive because restaurant was empty around 6:30pm but when my friends and I started browsing the buffet they have an amazing variety of food. Quality was the best part as all the food were almost into perfection. Highly recommended and I’d love to come back again.
Was a good place to go for a quick business lunch with a lot of varieties for every palate. Love the roast beef, it melted in my mouth. Ambiance was great too.
To begin with, the hotel itself is luxury personified, the staff just go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special.
The dinner buffet is sumptuous, extravagant and delicious. The flavors are so rich and the meats so tender.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. While the inside is good the outdoor is magnificent.
The breakfast buffet was also lavish with so much to chose from. The staff knew the long-term guests' preferences.
It was a definitely a feel-good experience in terms of food and service.
Very good buffet with a good number of choices. I went there for iftar. I really like the views. It’s a pure Arabic buffet which I really liked. I will go back
It was a celebration of a kind with some close friends. So been to Farriers...located in the beautifully designed Meydan Hotel right in front of the horse racing course. Quite a view!!
Buffet is great...with a lot of options from all around the world in soups, salads, appetizers, main course and desserts. They have an impressive live barbecue with a variety of meat and seafood choices...being delivered to you on demand.
The ambience is quite soothing, with lots of smiling staff around guiding you.
It’s a good place to be with friends, family or your loved ones...if you want to be secluded for a while being lost in the world of delicious food :-)

Good buffet with lots of choices for Arabic food. The plus points - The mixed grills were great and succulent. The service was good. I enjoyed the desserts especially the tarts and the Umm Ali as well as the Black Forest cake. There are limited vegetarian options in the main course and not as much variety for seafood lovers. The view seated outside overlooks the racecourse and is lovely especially during the winters..
This restaurant is based in the famous hotel The Meydan which hosts major events at its racecourse.
We have visited Farriers for dinner as well as breakfast buffet as we were having our staycation in Meydan Hotel. The dinner buffet was a good variety of dishes which surprisingly included steak in main course and macaroons in dessert. Overall the food was good. Since we were newly married the staff was so sweet to offer us a complementary cake, we really appreciate the kind gesture.
The restaurant is situated overlooking the racecourse which is a unique experience.
The breakfast buffet offers whole lot of options with live station for egg, again great service and friendly staff made our visits to Farriers more pleasant.
Fantastic family Friday brunch. Entertainment for kids- bouncing castle, face painting, some art and craft. Kids buffer available. Tasty sushi, BBQ and desserts!
Whenever I step in for brunch I always tell myself “Enjoy the brunch like never before” and I walk ahead with a smile. 2 weeks back me & my partner went in to try the Farriers Friday Family Roast at the Farriers restaurant located in The Meydan hotel. A new casual culinary dining experience for family & friend’s day out offering an extensive buffet, live entertainment and so much more, kids dedicated entertainment as well, all this while facing the meydan race course is a beauty.
Buffet Dining one April evening, food presentation is great, ambiance is pleasant and relaxing, not much crowd but food are overwhelming. Looking at the Meydan race horse tracks as the background, Joyce assisting us for the night who made also the night wonderful. Food is great appetizers are extraordinary different and main dishes caught my taste buds, sweets are not to sweet that you will want! Sure we will do this again!
Meydan Hotel and its restaurants are very special to me as the World Cup in the only sporting event that I have not missed in a decade.
The Farriers is a place I regularly visit and it's so much like home that I haven't even remembered to review it till now which clearly indicates how close to my heart it is.
The Sea bass here is to die for... The best in the city.
Must must visit. Very warm service and Entertainer vouchers are accepted too.
Went there on a Friday brunch:
1. food is really good especially the salmon with saffron sauce.
2. Amazing assortment, almost everything you desire.
3. Great kids playing area and buffet.
4. Desert section epic.
5. Nice band and singer.
6. The only negative thing is the staff, they are slow and more than couple of times forgot our requests

The place looks very nice and the food is good. I loved the Arabic desserts and the creme brûlée. I enjoyed the lunch buffet. The variety of the food offered was enough for me.
I went to the Meydan Hotel for a stable tour and got to enjoy breakfast at the Farriers restaurant. They have a good spread with lots of choices. The service was excellent
The view is stunning!! If you go early you get to see horses on the field. Definitely a must do during the horse racing season 👍👌👌
My office is pretty close to Meydan, so we get to come here for lunch all the time ...
However I've always wanted to try their brunch ... So one day me & my friends decided to give it a go.
Their Friday Brunch
takes place from 12:30 PM to 4 PM ... And is prices as following:
AED 310 (Including Soft Drinks)
AED 475 (Including Alcoholic Beverages)
AED 155 (For Children between 5 to 12 years)
If you have Emirates NBD card, then you can get a discount on these rates.
The whole place is transformed into one big food festival, with so many cooking stations and dedicated bars for almost every alcohol you can think of .... In a way that you get excited from the time you walk in!
They have the classic international cuisines, along with Mediterranean, and Asian .... They even have the grilled corner outside for your meat cravings.
Leave some space for the dessert ... As you will be tempted to try everything they have.
Impeccable service, friendly staff ... Great food ... Am sure returning for another brunch sometime soon!
Had a great Brunch today. The best part is the ambience the spread and despite a Friday the large space and number of food counters ensure the place doesn't feel crowded. Brunch is all about slow eating and for that ambience & facilities should be such that it relaxes and indulges you. This is exactly what Farriers has in plenty. As a vegetarian there are adequate choices and the beverages are a plenty particularly fresh juices and number of other options.
Last but not the least the service is excellent and staff is extremely courteous.
With a beautiful view of the meydan race course, this restaurant delivers on taste and ambience.
The lunch buffet has a good array of salads, starters, continental and local cuisine and desserts.
There is a good balance of light snacks like sandwiches, pizza, quesadilla, fries, roast potatoes and mains like pepper steak, saffron halibut, chicken drumstick, Arabic grills and pasta.
The desserts buffet also includes a good mix of Arabic and international dessert.
Amzaing place , view , food , staff , family place , live cooking , good facilities , good discounts
I just so like it and recommend it for Friday branches for families and group of friends
i like this place specially on fridays. a very wide and delicious variety of food. also had a kids area with kids buffet and some entertaiment. love the ourdoor are with the racing track view.
Excellent view of racecourse. Awesome staff, specially Mohammed Kitchilan, Restaurant Manager. Excellent desserts, however food could be little more authentic Indian.
Family dinner, stunning view of the race course, perfect ambience for a dinner date and food is out of the world. Check with the hotel prior to arrival as the theme nights are on. We enjoyed the barbecue nights. Try the fresh juices too (they are extra). Staff is really friendly and extremely courteous.
Stayed at the wonderful meydan hotel in november. The farriers restaurant overlooks the racecouse nad al sheba.good range of dishes for the buffet. The seafood night on thursdays was the best. lobster,. Giant prawns, mussels, squid and scallops and various hot dishes. Excellent pudding range. The service is formidable, you are really looked after, and couldnt rate the staff higher, especially mohamed kitchilan, chandida and plus Axel who is always smiling. Great service
We were invited to a brunch here and whilst there was alooooot of food, cant say anything was especially amazing or memorable. The kids play area is nice for the kids and it was indoor which was fantastic. Towards the end of the time, my daughter went to get pasta and was turned away by the chef- i was a big put off by that. I was able to go n order for her w no problem though. The stafff servicing the tables were swift and efficient, as were the hostess and staff inside the restuarant. If i went back, it would be for the kids more than for me. Oh and i loved the collection of non alcoholic beverages: there were alot of choices for non-drjnkers
Came here for a business lunch, and went for the Meydan Sea Bass. Actually came here before and ordered the same thing (after it being recommended to me by another associate), really quite good. It comes with a nice sauce and some pickled chili of some description. Fish was cooked well. The buffet wasn't on since it is ramadam, have seen it before and it looks ok if you like that sort of thing.
We had the buffet for 150 and for this price the quality was very nice. Many starters with vegetables ,fruits, French cheese, fish chicken lamb pizza. Will definitely recommend.
Very tasty and nice quality of food. The brunch was amazing but the sun is disturbing till they close the sun screen. The stations has a nice variety of food specially for sea food.
Loved the food here. Went for a lunch buffet and thoroughly enjoyed the spread. Some of the Arabic and indian main dishes were very good. Desserts were outstanding. Will definitely recommend to others and will surely visit again.

I loved the place , a lot of food to choice , loved the service , they got good bakery section and great coffee , if you want to sit out side you will be watching full meydan horse course
Farriers is an all day dining restaurant which is equine-themed with an international menu. As I proceeded towards the entrance of Farriers I caught a quick glance of the brunch affair outside the restaurant, in the lobby area of the hotel which comprised of various live cooking stations. Kids can play in a bouncy castle, do face painting or indulge in the strawberry fountain, all in an area dedicated only to them. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere although the place was filling up fast. The decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food to really shine; though beauty isn’t the only thing bringing people here. The table was meticulously set.I had Manakish with Za'atar and Cheese, Thai beef salad and smoked duck as an entrée. The Manakish freshly prepared and warm and the salad and duck were delectable. My main course was assorted maki(avocado and cucumber wrapped in rice), Prawn Tempura, Macaroni Bechamel and a slice of roasted lamb leg. The Macaroni was a big hit! You could taste the well -cooked macaroni with minced beef and béchamel sauce, topped with warm mozzarella cheese. For Desserts, I had already tasted the chocolate fountain, one of the best I’ve tasted till now. Also, I had the Cheese Cake which was velvety, rich and sweet. The crust was pretty hard though. Profiteroles were as light as air, topped with chocolate and filled with a delicate fresh cream. I also tried the flourless chocolate cake, Honey Pistachio Mousse Cake, Tiramisu, Praline and Honey Mousse Cake, Malva Pudding and chocolate Macarons. The service was excellent .The polite and friendly staff assisted us from the reservations till we stepped out from the place.I highly recommend you to make yourself comfortable out on the terrace and enjoy the races as you get an excellent view of the racecourse, dining whatever fancies you the most.
Sumptuous fare, awesome desserts, live music, great view of the racecourse and play area for kids. Can't ask for much more. Will return for sure
