A very unique seafood place in Umm Suqeim that serves very fresh fish, with different styles of cooking and marination.
You go inside to choose your fish, and let them know how you want them to be cooked. Pricing of the fish is as per the market pricing.
We started off with the Healthy Garden Salad, served with quinoa, spinach, cranberries, blueberries, carrot, zucchini, beet, purple cabbage, topped with ginger mustard dressing.
Then we got our freshly grilled fish. We requested the following marination:
- Lebanese Harissa: tangy,spicy and smoky flavours from a mix of chillies, spices, and herbs.
- Arabic Spices: tossed and blended with thick tomato concasse
Both were perfectly cooked, and loved the way it was spiced. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

Huge selection of fresh seafood which you can personally select from the counter and with lots of different options to season it. We liked the food, well seasoned and tasty but most of the best main course are not available on zoomato gold.

🎣 Fritto Misto : Crispy morsels of Shrimps, squidrings, white fish with citrus Aioli. - even these better fried ones scream of freshness. Not a hint of frozen seafood.

🎣Tomyum goong: Hot n sour Thai shrimp soup. Very similar flavours of I dian Rasam but ofcrourse with seafood notes.

OVERALL, the main highlight is that they use 100% fresh seafood and zero frozen items for their menu. And that speaks LOUD!
The place is clean and the food is yummmmmmmy I had the lobster melt roll it’s yummy the southern crab pasta was average not my last visit for sure I loved that they have zomato gold privilege 💕😘

We got invited here to review the seafood served. Nestled in the Jumeirah neighbourhood, it is easy to spot it. What stands out about this place are the white washed walls with beautiful colourful murals. The interiors and wall murals pretty much take you back to a coastal village.
The staff here is warm and welcoming and help you with choosing fish best for us and the choice of marinade according to our palate. Most seafood served is fresh catch of the day.
So we tried the Guajilo Prawn Tacos for starters, crab and garlic soup, and watermelon and feta salad. The tacos were served with fries and really good. A meal in itself. The soup was ok. I tasted a bit bland. The watermelon feta salad was the best. It was sweet, juicy, and crunchy at the same time.
For mains, we chose the prawn platter and southern spice kofar. I was taken to surprise by the southern spice kofar. It was spicy and so tasty. It left my taste buds tingling. This one is just so apt for spice lovers. The prawn platter was good too with different varieties of prawns.
For drinks we had the blue lemonade and blueberry and banana milkshake. They were good as well.
Finally for desserts, we had the choc skillet cookies with vanilla ice cream and mango pudding. The skillet cookies were a perfect end to the delicious meal. Soft warm cookies and vanilla icecream were so good, we couldn't stop ourselves from fighting over it.

Visited As you fish for dinner on a weekday . They have some funky interiors and the staff was very friendly .
They made a custom platter for us with Crabs , Shrimps and fish and passion fruit lemonade for drinks and everything was delicious .
The food was a tad bit spicy so if you’re not someone who can handle spicy food , it’s better to mention it while they take your order.
Moderately priced .
They have valet service as well.

What a vibrant place place with gorgeous views of the Burj and Jumeirah. They have valet and the outdoor seating is chill.
For starters we ordered the trash can nachos. The nacho chips were crisp and freshly made, served with guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Chicken sliders were quite filling for starters, served with fries. For mains, we ordered fish and chips, and shrimp creamy pasta. The portions were quite filling, absolutely loved the fish and chips.
The winner of the meal was the skillet cookie. Freshly baked cookie with ice-cream. Must must must try!
I was invited to review this special seafood restaurant in Jumeirah. It’s got some great view of the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah hotel with some mind blowing art on the wall which depicts stories of its own. Some of the dishes that I’d recommend are :
Watermelon feta salad - watermelon slices with cheese and pine seeds served in sweet sauce.
Try their passion fruit mojito and blueberry banana milkshake. It’s one of a kind 💯
Veg bbq sliders: consist of bell peppers , avocado leaving a juicy taste stuffed in cute buns.
Cheese nachos served with guacamole
Salmon- their salmon is fresh and cooked to perfection. Melts in your mouth!
To end with we tried their saffron milk cake which was average in taste. I’ve had better milk cakes in Dubai.
Overall, a great place for seafood lovers, desserts could be improved
If you’re looking for fresh fish cooked to perfection, As You Fish is the place for you! Located on Jumeria rd, across the street from the Jumeria Beach Hotel. The decor is minimal but clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They take their time to explain the best menu options and valet park your car on the busy Jumeria beach rd. Overall, great experience, good value. We’ll definitely recommend and come back!

Truly deserving of a five star review!
I don't know what's with the negative reviews but this restaurant truly deserve to have a five star rating/review. We were lucky enough to have the chance to try this place last Wednesday. Me and my friend visited this place for dinner, when we arrived at the restaurant we were welcomed by the staff and one of the restaurant's partner. Upon entering the villa we were shown a wonderful selection of fresh fish and seafood. It was a seafood haven!
One of the things which I usually observe whenever I visit a restaurant, is how the staff accommodate their customers. Personally, I believed that aside from the good food that a certain place offers, customer service is also important. There maybe tons of restaurants who offers the best food but if their customer service isn't good, customers somehow will not consider to visit that place again. This is one of the key strengths which the restaurant have - amazing staff and excellent customer service. I am truly satisfied on how they assisted and accommodated us during our visit.
We were able to try some of the lovely dishes that they offer. The Restaurant manager was very helpful, they served us happily which made our meal more enjoyable. For starter we got to try their Watermelon & Feta Salad ; a mouthful cubes of watermelon, crumbled persian feta, toasted almonds, and mint with white honey dressing. Then their Crab & Garlic Soup served with garlic and herbs. On the mains was there oven roasted Sea Bream in Creole, steamed Sea Bream with their signature sauce, spicy Tiger Prawns, grilled Asparagus & Broccolini and Cajun Fries.
I personally loved their Crab & Garlic Soup as well as the steamed Sea Bream, you really need to try these! Overall, it was really an amazing and lovely experience. I super loved the place, it's a paradise for seafood lovers. Don't miss this spot along Jumeirah road.

As you Fish in Jumeirah offers unique dishes and here are some of my few favorites:
- watermelon salad appetizer (yes, you read it right) it is surprising how the watermelon compliments the feta cheese and the sauce. Yum!
-Avocado Kale shake- oh please!! This is a must try!
- I have loved how each prawn in our platter posses its own unique taste and spices. But just a warning for the spicy ones (they are really spicy!)
- Roasted sea bream: this dish was even made more perfect with the dip and best partnered with the steam veggies (hail to the perfectly cooked asparagus!)
Ambience:
They offer indoor and outdoor seating which for sure families, friends and couples would love.
Please don't miss taking selfies on their beautiful murals created by well known artists from India- these creations have indeed added an under the sea & chill ambience.
P.s.
The live sea food station definitely added credibility to the freshness of the food they offer- which is the most essential thing to consider when choosing a sea food restaurant to dine in.

We came across this restaurant on zomato while searching for a place to satisfy our seafood craving. The place is easy to find so reaching it was a breeze. After having been warmly welcomed, we had a conversation with their business partner regarding the best items on the menu. We went for a mix of our liking and his suggestion and none of it was anything short of delicious. The items on the menu can be had oven baked, grilled or pan fried (not deep fried) which makes it a great place to cater to everyone's needs.
I highly recommend this restaurant because it does it all and does it well, from customer service to variety of food, from the location to the taste, it will leave a lasting first impression strong enough to get you coming back for more!
I love this place. The concept is similar to the Fish Market one, you choose the fish they have available (fresh!) and you choose the cooking style you prefer. Add some side dishes which will make your mouth watery! I love the olive bread they offer you while waiting! Very kind staff and cozy environment! I love it!
Great food, very delicious. I have ordered the southern spice shrimps which was amazing, and also the hot seafood platter. We were 2 people but were not able to finish the whole platter, i would recommend you order the platter only, or the shrimps with another main dish if you were just 2 people. Was surprised to see this place empty when we came for dinner. We visited the outlet on a weekday, but it was devastating to see such an amazing place deserted. The staff welcomed us warmly and we decided to sit upstairs as it was slightly windy outside. Coming to the food, we ordered a seabream with butter garlic marination in the grills, a lobster mac n cheese, a saffron seafood risotto and a passion fruit lemonade to quench our thirst. We were served some complimentary garlic bread while we waited on the mains. The wait time was slightly longer than we anticipated but when it arrived it surely made for it. Each item was one better than the other. The mac n cheese was my favourite followed by the fish and risotto. The food was served fresh and hot and the portions were very generous as well. The passiom fruit lemonade was slightly strong in flavour.
Overall, I'd definitely come back here and this place is highly recommended.
This is a white and bright seafood place located on Umm Suqeim road is a no-miss to your eyes. They have valet if you're unlucky with parking 😉
Their interiors are kind of unique making it look like an actual port or seaside outlet. They have loads of inside and outside seating; but trust me you'll love to sit outside in that comfy villa type seating. For this time, I decided to order in. I'm a lobster fan, so, I went for the Yuzu Lobster Roll. It had half lobster meat, apple and dill salad in a baguette bread. It came with a side of French Fries. It tasted really good. It was a huge portion for one person. The service is extremely friendly and attentive at the outlet.
Their speciality is seafood grills. So, next time I'm gonna be there for charcoal barbeques.
The setting is the place is lovely. Fresh fish with several falvourful options. The sweet potato fries were nice and crisp and made a good side .
My husband and I visited for lunch and it’s a great place for casual relaxed dining.We love seafood and the food here is fresh and well prepared. We especially enjoyed the Hot seafood platter which was filled with a yummy selection of prawns, crab, lobster and mussels. The accompanying chimichurri sauce was our favourite, it went well with everything! The burnt butter lobster was also really good, and we enjoyed every bite ☺️ we will definitely recommend As You Fish to friends and family.

Nice outdoor seating with a beautiful view on the jumeirah beach hotel.
They have a large selection of seafood, and you can have a look at all the fishes they have. You choose the way of cooking, your sauce and your sides.
The fish was delicious, well cooked and not dry at all.
The only thing negative I would say, is that the appetizers took a bit long to arrive so the main course came while we were still eating the appetizers.
But except than that, everything was made for a perfect evening. The staff was really helpful and friendly.
And the valet parking is definitely a plus.
As You Fish is a quaint little seafood restaurant on Beach Road in Umm Suqeim. Located in a whitewashed standalone villa with colourful graphics on the front façade as well as on the walls of its handsome interior. There’s a lovely outdoor seating area which overlooks Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Seafood night at As You Fish seafood restaurant. Another amazing seafood joint in Jumeirah. The soft shell 🦀 is to die for. They serve flavourful charcoal grills as well, choose the southern spice flavour for some real zing or go with lebanese flavour for a milder herby taste. Quite a lot of more flavours and cooking styles to choose from as well. The real surprise for us was the quality of their sides - the coconut seafood curry and paratha. The curry was velvety smooth and thick with just the right amount of sweetness. The paratha, as simple as it is, is often a fail at many of the restaurants we have visited lately. But here it was fresh and crispy. Tooks us back to our india days! The only issue here for some can be the loud noise of jumeirah's sports cars revving away. Either way Definitely coming back here!

"An amazing seafood heaven with a huge variety of amazing dishes. We started with the Lentil Soup and Watermelon and Feta Salad, needless to say, it was darn good. The prawn platter has a variety of different prawns seasoned differently, all amazing in their own way, followed by a perfectly grilled Sea Bass with Citrus Tahina. Passion Fruit Lemonade and the Blue Lemonade complimented the whole meal really well. The dessert was a Passion Fruit Cheesecake, which, in my opinion, is the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life, no joke. I would definitely go back here for sure, just for the cheesecake. Absolute love.
Ambience: This place is a comfortable seating and nice atmosphere. A nice family kind of place.
Service: The service was quick - the staff is friendly as well.
Food: The food was great. Everything tasted amazing and the food was served beautifully.
Location: They have a valet service so parking is not an issue plus the location was easy to find too.

So As you fish has been a phenomenon since they launched. Their food, decor, location and for a change even their name has been a bit off the well trodden path.
Being not the biggest fan of seafood, unless its sashimi or dynamite shrimp made at home, I have always steered myself clear off Pisces 😕.
But these grilled red snapper along with south indian style fried shrimps and calamari took me out to flavorland. The best form of cooked food is when the main ingredients retain their original taste without allowing eachother to over rule. That's exactly what happened over here!
The passion fruit drink was superb and really helped in washing down some really explosive nom.
Overall the food along with the fantastic weather of December and the open air dining with a view to die for! What more could one ask?
This place is another hidden gem in Umm Suqeim. A quite place that’s yet to be discovered - I am fortunate enough this week to select places with fresh healthy food. This is one of them - most importantly non commercial.

This was my first order from As You Fish, but I was impressed! The beet hummus was awesome, as was the haloumi salad and lobster falafel. I will definitely order again.
Gorgeous setting and location. Wonderfully relaxed with delicious food! The team is so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.
The grilled halloumi salad was divine! And the watermelon feta salad was amazing! Both incredible, light and refreshingly tasty.
Prawns and they fresh fish was succulent, juicy and in their own secret rub. Finishing with the mango dessert, this was so light and morish- I couldn’t get enough!
Seriously speaking the name itself is really catchy and loved the moment i heard the place. Been wanting to go to this place since long time, and my friends too have suggested this place. Its located near to burj al arab hotel, umm suqueim road. Villa 827B, Jumeirah road. Ok as soon as you reach the place, you will surely not miss the artwork on the white walls of the villa. There is a fish on the wall, a hand holding a ship, a face etc. Its all different and colourful art work.

Went there for lunch, the restaurant has a lovely Mediterranean feel about it with whitewashed walls and some Greek architecture painting as well as symbols in blue on the walls, as it was lunchtime we sat inside upstairs, the restaurant was initially quiet but we were very early.
A few tables arrived later adding to the atmosphere and at night I think it would be lovely to sit outside as there is plenty of seating on the terrace. Especially in the cooler weather.
For mains we had a saffron seafood risotto, the mixed seafood platter and the Barbecue hammour fish.
First off the portions were far bigger than they looked on the menu so be warned, this is a good thing though as they were really generous for the price.
The risotto was beautifully rich with melt in your mouth yellow rice and very soft buttery flavours.
The seafood platter was packed full of a wonderful mix of mussels, calamrari cooked a few ways, a piece of fried fish, prawns and crab and some lovely french fries to top it off, each element had a lovely flavour, it was seasoned perfectly and allowed the seafood to be the main star. Also everything was cooked to perfection very often seafood can be dry and tough and this was definitely not the case.
The fish on the BBQ was huge but just as delicious, again the fish was soft and flaky but still moist when eating, it was accompanied by a chimichuri pesto and a dynamite (home made) sauce, which added a bit of a bite but not overpowering.
To top all this off we had a mango sundae with chai seeds which was beautifully presented and was just the right combination of light and sweet to top off a great meal.
I can honestly say this one one of the best meals we have had in Dubai for a long time, you could taste the freshness and nothing was overpowering which left the actual seafood to be the 'hero' of the meal. I will definitely recommend this to friends and be back ASAP. A special mention must be made of the avocado and kale milkshake it totally blew us away with the smoothness and taste, this was the best we have ever had!

The service was on point and the food tasted excellent . It also has a valet service so no problem for parking. We had the entertainer so we ordered the prawn southern spice and the sea bream. Both tasted heavenly .. little spicy for the kids but they made another one just for the kids which was a great gesture. The outdoor seating with views of the jumeirah hotel and bikes cruising on the roads was a classic . Overall great service and great good in an amazing location

A seafood lovers delight! Spectacular views of the Burj al Arab and Jumeirah beach hotel. Fresh catch, big variety and most attentive staff headed by Victor - the Manager in charge. Went for a meal Wednesday night and was pleasantly surprised. Soft shell crabs were succulent, fish was cooked to perfection, ending with a huge potion of matcha tiramisu. Will be back soon!

Easy to locate, has ample parking.
This place is gorgeous and way more reasonable than any other seafood restaurant in its league.
You're greeted with a valet service from the restaurant, beautiful wall art, fresh Greece setting, free of all unpleasant fishy smell.
The staff was amazing. Knew whats on the menu and were quick at service.
The food quantities are great. It's a relief to see more tastier food than just fancy presentations. They have everything to match your taste palette. Bland, spicy, juicy...everything As you wish ;)
We ordered 1 passion fruit lemonade, Tom Yum soup, soft crab shells, chilli prawn sliders (my ultimate fav), seafood risotto, grilled salmon and a sizzling cookie with ice cream for dessert.
There was no complaint. The food was bursting with flavours and had a decent presentation. Seafood can turn you off, if not served fresh, but here we had some great quality of food and the quantity was way more than we expected.
Suggestion from our end would be to have more options on the drinks menu, and preferably the staff should have the same uniform and it was difficult to identify the managers. But that really didn't matter when you have great service and even amazing food!!

Very nice environment with enjoyable background music . Food was tasty, good portions although squid was a little over cooked and lobster Mac n Cheese was more cheese than lobster . The manager did introduce himself and kindly offered to replace both dishes. Staff are very pleasant but a little unorganised as we had to request twice for drinks and assistance . Saying that definately recommend a visit .

Amazing seafood, affordable prices and lovely staff. The decor is cool, funky and relaxed. The menu has many different options and flavour choices.
We started with Fritto Misto (that's a basket of fried shrimp, fish and squid rings to most of us) which had a light coating and was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery. We also had a Watermelon and feta salad which was fresh and the mint was a great touch. Perhaps a tiny bit more feta would have been nice, just to add a little more saltiness.
We then shared a prawn platter comprising of the largest prawn I have ever seen, 5 tiger prawns in a lovely, Indian spice mix (had a little pop of flavour but didn't burn the mouth) and some other prawns in a lighter sauce. All cooked and seasoned well and served with lovely halved new potatoes that had crisped a little on the hot plate and some cherry tomatoes.
We also chose to have a whole Sea bass (my companion choose the specific fish she wanted) which we opted to have fillets and cooked in coconut and lime, on the BBQ. It was exquisite! very well filleted, 2 large portions of fish (served with a fresh salad) that we devoured quite happily.
We finished this off with "mango soup" which was textured a little like custard but tasted like beautiful ripe mangoes. Good for the digestion we were told! I don't know about that, but it was certainly very tasty!
I am very much looking forward to a second visit with my family at the weekend!
Mediterranean cuisine is one of my absolute favorites, so we were delighted to find out that a new one was opening in our neighborhood... And As You Fish did not disappoint. Upon entering the villa we were shown a wonderful selection of fresh fish and seafood.
We ordered the Mezze Platter, the Tom Yum soup (not exactly mediterranean cuisine, but the seafood was fresh and the soup was very tasty), and the one of the Seafood Platters with lobster, sea bass, salmon, and prawns. I would highly recommend each dish, especially the seafood platter.
The restaurant is a great place for a family dinner or a date night. As You Fish is quite a young restaurant and already impressing, I look forward to seeing how they will grow.
What could be better than eating fresh seafood with a view? They offer a selection of live seafood cooked the way you want it. Grilled or fried with different marinades sauces and sides. The view is beautiful and weather is just perfect during our dinner.

As you Fish is a beautiful restaurant located in the area. The interiors are very 'fishy' and includes amazing wall art.
The stair decor takes you to Greece.
My favorites in the place include
Fried Crabs - this was definitely a different starter dish I tried. I've never had fried Crabs before and this was a delightful first.
Shrimp tacos - this one was my absolute favorite, I ordered another for takeaway. Highly recommend to order this one. Very crunchy and saucy.
Your choice of fish grilled/fried - I chose the Kofer fish and had it fried. The marination was perfect and I got my spicy. It's easily shared by 2-3. Really great when with friends or family looking for sharing a meal.
Matchamisu - in desserts this one blew my mind. A combination of matcha and tiramisu. Should I even say more? Try it.
The weather was perfect we sat outside. The service was great and quick.
Definitely coming back when craving for seafood.

Good selection of food. Went for sea bass and squid: awesome. Tried mussels as well: very good. Recommend to try their skillet chocolate cookie ice cream dessert, if you have more space afterwards.

Me and my friend decided to have dinner after work. Since all of us is doing a diet we decide to dine in here. The food selection is awesome. Love the tuna salad and the watermelon. Their fish definilty fresh.

This beautifully designed restaurant is really good for seafood lovers that they have recently opened.
Their sea interior design it matches so good the concept of the restaurant.i really loved their outdoor sitting are with the view of burj al arab and jumeirah beach hotel
They have variety of seafood dishes.
And you can choose the fresh fish that is displayed in front of you.

Kale Caesar salad:its a must to try really loved the taste and the combination of kale and shrimp
dynamite soft shell crabs: Itv was the first time i have been trying crabs,and bingoooo loved it LOVED.
Guajillo prawn taco:It wasn't that bad i didn't like it much because of the cabbages in it but the shrimp it self tasted so good,it kind of tasted like tandoori.it really good a must to try.
Sea Bass it was good,at the side of it came butter and garlic sauce that made the sea bass taste heavenly.

We tried their softshell crab and fish with butter garlic.. it was really good.. one thing noticeable is the great warm service offered to us.. a smiley face and warm good makes a tummy happier than ever 👌
The sea bass and prawns were extra ordinary. The staff are super professional, friendly and helpful. The food was spot on perfect cooked.
I will sure go there atleast twice a week for it’s healthy options and tasty food.
If you love fish I highly recommend @asyoufish located in a prime position opposite @jumeirahbh. The gorgeous seating area outside, is the perfect place to enjoy the cooler winter months. As fish lovers, we were very excited about the menu and after sampling the seafood chowder, we decided to go for the fish tacos and sea bass, grilled with Indian spices - served fisherman style - with flaky paratha and seafood curry. Both dishes can only be described as amazing! We finished our ‘feast’ with passion fruit cheesecake, to share! But unfortunately for @g_loves_food I couldn’t control myself and definitely ate more than my half of the portion. Even better, the restaurant is now on the entertainer - the perfect excuse to sample many of the dishes on offer 🐟
We went to this restaurant last week. We had a great time. The food was fresh and delicious. We had prawn sliders, halloumi salad, sea bass and sea bream. There was so much choice even for any of you no fish eaters out there. And the puddings wee amazing... if u have room!
Came here for lunch with my wife. We ordered the kale salad , the prawn platter and sea bass. All were excellent choices. Service and the Value for money are great. Must visit
Highly recommend As You Fish! My husband and I ate here for dinner. The seafood was definitely the best I’ve eaten in Dubai - fresh and tasted like the ocean!
Meals are super affordable. We had one of the most expensive items on the menu, the Hot Seafood Platter which was very tasty and extremely generous at 250 aed. I have paid much more for smaller portions at other restaurants. Valet parking makes it really convenient. We will certainly be back!

Very nice seafood restaurant located on Jumeirah with seating outside and inside. We ordered a variety of dishes: lobster roll, chilli prawn sliders, prawn tacos and salmon. Ideally I wanted to try the fresh tiger prawns but they informed us the fresh fish was sold out. Everything we tried was delicious, perfectly cooked and fresh. The quantities are massive, the prices very reasonable and the service is very good. The one thing I noticed is that there isn’t a big variety of dishes on the menu but the waiter mentioned they are working on adding new products. Great central spot for seafood, gave it 5 for the very reasonable prices and the quality of the food: highly recommended.
Had fish and chips it was very delicious, and the tartar sauce served with it made it taste more better, fish was crispy outside and sofr inside was enough for a person to fill his stomach, thw drinks were also refreshing! The party aura made the place more happening and enjoyable.
What a fabulous restaurant! My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic meal out here. The ambience was quiet and casual, but it was a week night. The staff were friendly, polite and very attentive. And the food... wow! The menu caters for a variety of seafood (as you may have guessed) and everything we ate was superb! I can highly recommend the Fisherman’s Combo... perhaps some of the nicest fish I’ve ever eaten. Thank you for a wonderful night... we will be back!!
Eating crab is an art, and a hectic task too. What if you can eat the crab with its shell. To all those lazy ones out there and to those taste enthusiasts, here is dynamite crab with soft shell and it can be eaten together at As You Fish Jumeirah.
This is located just opposite iconic @burjalarab so a location which you cannot miss. Now back to the name, why its #AsYouFish. When u enter the outlet you see many aquariums with live fish and they provide you a net. You catch any tempting ones and select the marination to cook. Aint it interesting.
I tried Lemon and thyme with Red Pepper. Beautiful outdoor facility and indoor too. Quite interesting place for seafood lovers.

Must Try: Chilli Prawn Tacos.
Only being a few months old, As You Fish has managed to climb the ladder as one of the upcoming seafood restaurants in town.
I was invited to review their signature dishes as a part of their blogger meets. The restaurant is located in Umm Sequim and has an amazing view of the iconic Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
As You Fish has a beautiful outdoor seating area making it an ideal place to dine during winters. It has a modern and artsy vibe and every piece of artwork has a story behind it. We got the opportunity to hear a few of those stories from one of the gracious restaurant owners, Joseph. The actual restaurant is a two floor building and the dining is on the first floor. The ground floor is reserved for the fresh and frozen seafood. You can also pick the lobster you would want to munch on as well.
We decided to start our food adventure with a Dynamite Soft Shell Crab, Chilli Prawn Tacos, Kale Caesar Salad. All of the starters were delicious, especially the tacos and salad. It was crispy and had a good crunch for every bite. For the main course, we get to customise everything - from the type of fish, type of cooking style, marination and sauce. We tried the Pan Fry Style Promfret with South Indian marination and Charcoal Grilled Style Promfret with Butter and Garlic marination as suggested by the staff. Being a South Indian myself, the South Indian marination was quite authentic in terms flavour and I loved the butter and garlic fish and it was well marinated. Although the fish was fresh and well cooked, it did have that typical fish smell which was a bit off-putting. We also have tried their mocktails such as passionfruit mojito which was nice. Now the best part of any meal is the dessert. The staff was gracious to let us indulge in three desserts. We tried the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, Mango Chia pudding and Matchamisu. The winner was definitely the passion fruit cheesecake. The pudding and matchamisu had delicious creamy base as well.
For the price range, the portion size is good. The restaurant also offers valet parking. Overall a wonderful place to visit when you are craving some for some good seafood dishes.
Good vibes only is the quote that comes to mind when you enter this beautiful looking restaurant located opposite Jumeirah beach hotel, it’s blue and white interiors and exteriors give a feeling of calm alongside the palm.
I’m not big on seafood but as you fish is one place that I would go back to for their seafood chowder, prawn sliders and seafood platter.
The seafood is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth right away.
The flavors are not over powering but still are quite intensified showcasing the years of experience of the chefs.
For me, must haves are:
Chowder (soup), chilly prawn sliders, harissa fish and prawn platter!
For desserts, try the cooking mango and chia sundae!

I'm always looking for a good fish / seafood restaurant. However, being in Dubai one is always concerned with the freshness and price of things and one often does not get what one pays for, right? "As You Fish" was recommended to us and we tried this great fish / seafood restaurant. All was fresh and deliciously cooked at a competitive price. The staff were very nice and attentive, knowledgable of the dishes and made good recommendations according to our stated tastes; which pleased us greatly. "We'll be back ;)" soon.
The food was really good as it was well prepared and service was also very good. All the items we ordered was delicious and the price was good for such a good fresh seafood restaurant.
Finally the perfect restaurant in Dubai: simple style and the food superb! The staff is very pleasant and nice, they really took care of Us! The location is beautiful in front of Jumeirah beach hotel and Burj Al Arab. Simply amazing!
Super delicious fish & seafood. Fresh and prepared to your liking. Choose from a fresh selection, we tried seabass and prawns, select a method of cooking, charcoal bbq for us every time, add a delicious sauce - mine is chimichurri! And the sides are yummy too, especially the brocollini and asparagus. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable too! They offer free valet parking and the general atmosphere is lovely. One of the best Dubaï discoveries so far!
Went there for lunch today! Very relaxed vibe, waiter was new but he tried his best and as I am gluten intolerant he helped with my order .
We both had the fisherman’s choice sea bream with a lovely seafood coconut curry on the side which normally comes with roti but we could get it with biryani rice. The deserts where lovely as well and I was very happy that they had a gluten free option (chia mango pudding).
All in all a very good please for an relaxed dinner or lunch.
As I walked into this white-coloured two-floored building in Jumeirah with glass doors, there in front of me were many live seafood. As I headed upstairs to the main seating area, I was greeted by a beautiful blue and white painting that is characteristic of Santorini, a popular island in Greece that is known for its beautiful beaches, spectacular scenery and amazing restaurants. This seating area has a huge ceiling-to-floor window overlooking the fabulous Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The walls are adorned with very pretty colourful paintings and each has an intriguing story behind it.
