But wow, the Australian 220g Tenderloin Wagyu 4-5 I had was outstanding - and my partner in crime was equally happy with his 500g Ribeye. But let's start from scratch: the interiors, well, in Dubai we are spoiled, the place would deserve a refurbishment. Outdated design and a bit worn - but nothing to seriously worry about. The place is a little empty (like all other restaurants I passed by just after 7pm, but picking up at a later hour) - but the staff makes up for it by being very present and dedicated. Just watch out, nothing comes cheap here! We chose snails for starters (the bread portions are just perfectly meadured, however, the garlic butter is finger-licking good and you might raid the bread basket to indulge properly)... We had opted for a very nice Henri Farbe Côte du Rhône - not as heavy as your usual Bordeaux but makes a very nice pairing with the steak. The latter might as well be one of the if not the best I ever had in town! The sides were terrific... Except for the - rather plain and boring - potato mash maybe. And, ok, the crème brûlé didn't exactly shine, either. But by that time we were sold - too happy and fulfilled to seriously bother.

Brilliantly done juicy buttery steak. With roasted garlic and caramelized onions. Getting onto the sauces.. thick and nutty mushrooms sauce... mild hot peppercone sauce and the creamy truffle. And for the sides luscious mashed potatoes, fried mushrooms and the famous ratatouille. We had ordered are 1kg of the meat to satisfy a palate for 4. They also have a good selection of house beverages. It a place where you must indulge atlest once.

The service was excellent but the food was below average. The steak is okay and the sides didn't taste good at all. Who can't make a side of potatoes ? Or sauteed spinach? I had to force myself to eat the food. I asked for a cream Brulle and it came in 5 mins. I wonder how it's made that fast. Not recommended go to a proper steak place

Amazing food, nice venue, cool music and friendly staff are keys to a perfect restaurant. The food like the escargot is delicious and the steak is perfect. This is a nice little restaurant, has a concise menu and exceptional quality food. The kitchen is a great attraction, huge full window so you can watch very easily and celery your meal being prepared. Overall pricing was not too bad, like all ‘meat’ restaurants you can get carried away with the price, though it is compensated by the quality. Would definitely go back for another evening or event.

Ten yrs ago, this was one of our regular date night spot until quality went down dramatically a few years after. We went here again recently and have really enjoyed our dinner. We’re glad that our old favorites are still on the menu. The steak and lamb chops were cooked perfectly according to our preference and the quality of food has definitely changed for the better. Service is good as usual.

What a phenomenal place for food and ambience! <br/><br/>Went there for my sister’s birthday and the experience was splendid from the moment we walked in. We got a very good table, assisted by Lerick - he first changed the AC temperature because we were cold and then offered us scarves. <br/><br/>The menu has a wide variety and we went from the sea bass, New Zealand tenderloin and rib eye steaks and pasta. The sea bass and steaks had 2 sides each and you can choose from an amazing list of sides. <br/><br/>They brought a complimentary bread basket that had fresh and hot bread to start up. The service time for the food was great and better yet, they cut the sea bass by the table for us. Every single dish was amazing and we just could not stop devouring the food! The portions were good too!<br/><br/>At short notice, Lerick managed to get a cake for my sister and the staff sang happy birthday with us! <br/><br/>And guess what! It is entertainer friendly. <br/><br/>Definitely worth your money, time, and visit. Will surely go there again! <br/><br/>:)

One of the best steaks I have ever had in Dubai. Still the best for me is Prime 68 but M’s Grill may come to second place for my personal ranking. Ordered medium rare Wagyu which was truly delicious and making you taste the genuine “meat” flavor. Awesome steak house. As the restaurant is very near to airport, good to enjoy some steak before or after you fly!

Excellent food. Tried the buttery snails and flambè prawns as starters. The main blew me away. Lamb chops with perfectly accompanied sides so delicious.<br/><br/>The only draw back being they seem a but understaffed and have quite a few new joinees. Maybe will get better with time. Our server Ghanshyam seemed too much in a hurry and said a lot of “NO” to a few of the menu items asked for. Black cod, the Wagyu being an example.

Went here a few days ago for lunch with family. Since Le Meridien is close to where I live, we walked over to the Promenade and came across this beef and seafood bistro. Although the prices seemed high, the ambience and menu enticed us. The dining area is spacious and maintained well. Although most tables were occupied, it didn't feel too packed and there was also light music playing in the background.The staff is professional and friendly--the hostess welcomed us and guided us to our table. Our server was attentive throughout and helped us decide what to try from the menu. We ordered two appetizers and a main course. The Flambeed Gulf Prawns were fresh and cooked to perfection. The Lobster tortellini was delicious--the pasta was plump with tasty filling and cooked well with a creamy sauce to accompany it. The Marinated black cod loin was our favorite! The fish was flavorful, tender and cooked beautifully. We ordered two sides: spinach & mushrooms as well as the ratatouille and both were perfect accompaniments to the fish. We left with a satisfied appetite and will definitely go back soon to try more from the menu! I highly recommend you pay this restaurant a visit.

Crispy rock shrimps priced at 51 dhs taste soo yumm, must try if you are shrimps with sauce. They are similar to the ones the serve in pf changs. <br/>2. Fresh oysters, this was my first time trying and they are quite good and definitely will try again . They are served with lemon on side.<br/><br/>For mains <br/>1. Cod fish : perfectly done and the tarte sauce serve along taste soo yumm highly recommended. Along we get to complimentary sides, so I opted for mushroom risotto which was so delicious, I would suggest it , and had French fries as well. <br/><br/>2. Spaghetti pasta with tomato and basil sauce, . priced at 58 dhs. It was alright <br/><br/>For drinks we had passion fruit mocktail and strawberry with basil mocktail they both were alright. I personally dnt like mocktails, but they don't have much non alcoholic drinks.<br/><br/>For dessert we had chocolate souffle and it was soo delicious, served with caramel sauce on side. M's Beef & Seafood Bistro by Chef Yvan Rocher, is a phenomenal restaurant that is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year, this place has a massive outdoor seating<br/> area but my favorite place to sit all year long is there indoor arena, with private tables and pastel hues , a massive wine cellar & live kitchen, its a culinary<br/>delight for any foodie. <br/>So we went on a weekday and it was pretty busy,were nicely escorted to our sets and handed over two sets of huge menus to choose from, and I was instantly surprised to<br/> see how interesting the food menu is, not only the restaurant the menu too is a perfect blends of dishes from all over the world. So they take their Beef seriously,so all steaks are aged & are chargrilled on a very fancy Josper chargrill. As for the seafood we were informed that they try to use the fresh catch hence forth offer live lobster thermidor etc good food its all good !! <br/>Now the interesting twist to the menu is that, the Chef offers a live cooking option, in which the chef comes to your table and cooks up some magical stuff, life <br/>Beef Tartare, Beef Pepper style & the another timeless classic Live Lobster Thermidor. They served us this bread basket which they bake in house, it came with a spicy butter, which was so perfect with the grainy bread that i had two pieces of it :) and I'm not even a bread person. <br/> For our mains, I was honestly very tempted to try Seafood Linguine but i decided to stick with Chargrilled Wagyu RibEye cause every time that oven was opened and the smoke would come out of it, its just beyond tempting. I had the option to choose from a few add ons, in which I pted for a half live lobster,you can choose from others likes Lamb chops, lamb shank, then even offer Duck degustation & Veal Milanese, how french is that ?!! amazing ....for the two sides that come with each mains, we ordered Gratin Dauphinois & sauteed spinach and grilled asparagus. From the seafood we ordered ordered another classic Black Cod Lion, which is also the Chef's special here and we weren't wrong Cod is one of our favorites but this one was so perfectly marinated and done right. <br/>You cannot leave such a place with out having some desert, and that too a classic one, there's a several options, I got a Creme Brulee, and oh boy just as I had <br/>anticipated it was delicious, the upper layer was crisp and the bottom was so smooth and just the right amount of sweet and this is a pot of tea made my evening. <br/>totally worthwhile.<br/> <br/>I've a sentimental attachment with this particular Le Meridien, cause it was my first fancy dinner place, when i moved to Dubai, 11 years ago.So I always love going back here, and I am highly appreciative of the fact how, this place has grown with time and has maintanted its standards of hospitality.

Quite an underwhelming experience. The price value proposition just doesn't stack up, unfortunately. We had the Wagyu Striploin and the Argentinian Rib-Eye. <br/><br/>Having said that, the service was very good, and the free almond biscuit at the end a welcome gesture.

With their steaks ranging from about AED 250 – 450, we decided to forego them. Words cannot describe how impressed we were with the warm goat’s cheese. We also enjoyed the lamb chops and lemon tart but wish the vegetarian options were better.

Came in on tuesday night and found out they had a tapas+unlimited wine deal going for about 150 dirhams. Throw in some Entertainer vouchers and it becomes ridiculously inexpensive.<br/><br/>I loved the selection. Could've been a little bigger, sure.. But what was offered was fantastic!

Came in for the Tuesday night special for tapas and unlimited wine for AED159. I must say the tapas were limited in options but were delicious and the highlight was the wine selection offered. Best place to try out the white, sparkling, red, rose, and dessert selections for a romantic outdoor seating in winter. Service was prompt and decent however keep checking your watch for the last drink order at 10:30pm since that would be about the time you really start enjoying the experience :) I'll definitely be back for this.

One of the most underrated fine dining establishments in Dubai along with its sister restaurant the Beef Bistro.<br/><br/>The seafood bistro does not disappoint with its varied menu of seafood items. We had the Black Cod and also the Salmon dish.<br/><br/>The Black Cod was a Tangy, flaky delicious oriental tasting dish and the Salmon was delightful and perfectly cooked.With the entertainer voucher this is a no-brainer, and with the unlimited side dishes and the outdoor seating it's a great way to spend a Dubai winter evening.

I actually visited this place a few months back with my husband to celebrate a special occasion.<br/><br/>We ordered the seafood platter which was enough for both of us to share along with other sides. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service from the staff was great also.<br/><br/>To finish the night we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake and it was literally to die for. I might just have to go back for that!!!

Don't expect an outstanding steak despite high prices and association with Le Méridien. The service was excellent, which was the one saving grace for this restaurant. The ribeye I ordered was adequately prepared, but lacked the flavor expected for high priced meals. If travelling through Dubai and staying at this hotel, I recommend another restaurant on the property, or stick to a nice glass of wine and an appetizer.

One of the very old places of dubai. Was best when it was Cafe Chic and had no competition for Classic French cuisine. Then as the French bistro went to the dogs , literally overnight. Another makeover and as the Sea Food Bistro along with the companion Beef Bistro has made al fresco dining in that quiet part of Deira a pleasure , again. <br/><br/>The desert is actually what you need to leave room for. The chocolate soufflé , suggest you order with the mains , will arrive then in time to give you a coco high worth the otherwise wait. It is just sublime. Unfortunately too many calories and too much guilt every time we indulge - which we must - the soufflé is just that good. <br/><br/>They used to have the complimentary garlic toast with the creamy cheese with herbs dip. No longer. Shame. It was worth going for. The bread basket , again , used to be with the choice of baguette , the walnut bread , the Mexican cap, olive or tomato etc etc. Sigh. Those are gone too. Thank God. You can now focus on the food otherwise one did not want to go beyond the garlic toast and breads with salted or salted butter. <br/><br/>The starters are very fair sized. Frankly two starters are enough. The cerviche is humongous in size as well as ingredients , flavor and just the right mix of greens and fish and vinegar. Go for the smaller escargot (6 with more garlic and butter than you would have in a month at home) or the chowder. All are great sins because they are served with care , piping hot and consistency of flavor and taste you expect. <br/><br/>The mains are all fish so if you don't like fish ask for the menu from next door. The steak next door is fair but it is this place with its fish whether sea breem , pan fried (not listed in menu but they will do it for you) or a baby hammour grilled to perfection or the sole. Have tried all of the mains. That is not a big deal because it is a limited choice. Fish cooked to perfection , 95% of the time and the other 5% you just had too much as starters. Obviously keeping to a small list of mains means the kitchen guys know exactly what they are doing. Which means their promotions or specials are a hit or miss proposition. I now tend to stay away as they are not the same value for money you get with the menu items. The sides are complimentary with the mushroom risotto or the ratatouille vegetables or the fries or the baby spinach all individually flavored to add just the right side to match the filleted flesh. Some of the staff can get the flesh off the bone - perfect. Some are learning so will leave some bones for you to find. Either way the cooking staff , thru sheer repetition , make it irrelevant. <br/><br/>The end of the meal paper which tells you the score is always a welcome surprise. We seem to enjoy what we have to pay with the meal becoming a overall value deal far superior to most of the other French places around. Agreed from the others some have a more fancy ambiance , a few have better choice in beverages and some even have better mains excluding fish or a bigger choice. No one , however can match the chocolate soufflé or the mains from the menu (not the promotion or specials) and the final tab. <br/><br/>Very satisfying visit. Hear they are thinking of changing the menu. Please bring back the passion fruit soufflé so my wife can order her own desert instead of picking on mine. Don't tinker with the concept. Keep the menu limited so you can continue to do it as well.

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times, excellent steak! m's beef bistro has the most impressive selection of wagyu beef i have come across in dubai. nothing short of perfect. i ordered the wagyu rib-eye we had a variety of sides like truffle mash, french fries potato gratin. seriously no words can describe the taste experience of having the wagyu rib-eye. i strongly recommend you try it out. its rather expensive but worth it as a treat once in a while.

I loved the warm bread, the Argentinian beef was excellent and the mashed potato was delicious. <br/>The service was not so good as we had to look for them to place our order and they were not paying attention to our glases. The price is acceptable.

One of my favorite steak house in Dubai. French chef, home baked bread and in house veggies (they have a small garden on the side where they grow veggies). Steak tartare with cognac is my favourite as a started, mussels as well. Steaks and marinated and well cooked. Deserts are great too. Excellent value for money. A must to try.

In my role as a Le Meridien Ambassador, which entitles me to dine in four different restaurants at the Hotel, this weekend I chose M’s Beef Bistro, I also invited 5 of my followers on Twitter who I had never met in the real world to join me. It turned out to be one of the most interesting things I have ever done, and shall be definitely be doing it again, using the twitter hashtag #table4six.<br/><br/>After the initial introductions and general chat about Twitter and how it had changed our lives and given us opportunities just like the one we were sharing today we got down to the serious work of checking out the menu. Our waiter gave us some good recommendations.<br/><br/>We started off with an array of starters including Mozarella with Grilled Eggplant, Goat Cheese Salad, Traditional Onion Soup, Mushroom Soup with a Pastry Top and Feta Cheese Salad. The Mushroom soup was beautifully presented but sadly lacked taste and looked rather watery.<br/><br/>Starters over and we tucked into our main courses, the most popular choice was the Wagu Beef, being that we were in a Steak House this made great sense, the Radio Man however opted for the Baby Chicken. I ordered the Surf and Turf as recommended by a previous Tweeter who had dined there recently. All feedback about the food was positive however I was disappointed in the presentation of the food and felt that there could have been more imagination in the creativeness of the side dishes. The service was rather slow as well but on this occasion that was a good thing as we were able to chat and learn more about each other.<br/><br/>By the time we got to Desserts were were all rather full but I had to try their Creme Brulee so I shared it with The Foodie Queen, it was really lovely but nothing will beat Al Maha’s Creme Brulee for me. My Arty guest ordered the Peach Melba Cup which was beautifully presented but the portions size was rather big, Mitten Armani would have cleared it though.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Le Meridien Dubai has a wonderful array of Restaurants to choose from and I am going to be very honest and say that whilst I will definitely return to dine at Le Meridien as a paying guest, it won’t be in this particular restaurant. Last weekend we got our passports out and headed over to Le Meridien Dubai (the one near the airport), living in new Dubai means I very rarely head over Garhoud Bridge, in all fairness we have everything on our doorsteps here, but we don’t have M’s Seafood Bistro …<br/><br/>M’s Seafood Bistro only opened last month in the location that some of you might remember as Cafe Chic at Le Meridien. The weather that day was sunny which makes a change at the moment, so we decided to dine inside. The restaurant is small and tastefully decorated though I have to say I don’t quite get the branding of the dated supermodel and the fish, however you don’t judge a restaurant on its decor you judge it on the food which I have to say was really good. I did however absolutely adore the plates on all the tables, especially the ones that had the menu’s on them.<br/><br/>As it was lunchtime we didn't opt for starters and went straight onto mains, though Chef did bring us a complimentary seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious, Mitten wasn't impressed (sorry Chef it appears 7 year olds and seafood don't mix). We were also presented with beautiful fresh bread and pressed butter, Mitten loved the salt bread.<br/><br/>For my main course I chose the Sea Bream with Crushed Potatoes and Anchovy Juice whilst my husband opted for the Marinated Black Cod Loin, Brandade with Light Herb Dressing. Mitten had the childrens Beef Burger which whilst it was on the children's menu it was more suited to a teenager than a 7 year old, I have to say it looked fabulous though, with lovely big chips!! My Sea Bream was perfect, beautifully cooked and presented as was the Black Cod Loin.<br/><br/>In true GA fashion we had to try the Creme Brulee, very very good but Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa are still the current title holders of Best Creme Brulee in the UAE. Absolutely loved this place. It's well priced and serves up a mean fillet mignon and fantastic bearnaise sauce. It's a hidden gem, but then again le meridian garhoud has an incredible array of fantastic restaurants from their fish market to their Italian restaurant Casa Mia. What I loved the most was their profiteroles you rarely find a place that has freshly baked profiteroles, and trust me we know when they're frozen and reheated, so it was a pleasant surprise their's were just perfect.<br/><br/>They get my vote for sure.
