Al Hallab Bab El Bahr is the high-end branch of the well-known chain located in Downtown Dubai. Everything was royal starting from the venue, internal decor to the food arrangement. The waiters were presentable and always present for assistance. The place was packed on a Sunday, however, we had a spacious table in a convenient corner and comfortable seats.

Specious Lebanese restaurant in popular Dubai area is certainly place which should be in visit plan of every foodie member. At least to be checked is it place for regular dinner schedule or not. Nice place, little bit to “tight” and small for all interested guests. It’s really crowded and there is no space for a toothpick to drop unless you sit in non smoking area. Place is very noisy but it’s not so annoying. Honestly; food is not bad and not excellent as well; to be more precise it’s average with a relatively modest variety. There is choice of all types of meat and poultry. Fish wasn’t seen in menu. I am not able to highlight anything as special. Prepared on known pattern, should be satisfactory for most of visitors. Desert section is rich and contains traditional and commercial sweets. Fruit selection is very good. Service is pleasant, staff attentive and kind which is adding some extra points to overall impression. Certainly, will not be my favorite place for regular meals but should be visited by funs of Lebanese kitchen.

Since Ramadan is coming soon, this place is the best for iftars, huge variety of food and dessert for a very good price. Where do I even begin! Authetic lebanese taste. My favorite place for dessert, that takes me all the way to lebanon. The mafrouke, karabij, knefe, everything with ashta, all soo delicious. I love Al Hallab wherever it may be in the world, as it gives the true taste to food!

Felt like seafood for dinner so we went to try this place out on a Friday Night. Overall was thoroughly impressed with the food! We ordered quite a few appetizers including Fattoush, Sultan Ceviche, Shrimp Fakhara and Baked Octopus. Then we finished with a main meal of baked Snapper. Lastly we topped off with Ghazal Ice-cream dessert....yum!! Would highly recommend this place for seafood. What’s even better is the amazing service the team provides. Overall a great experience!

We were looking for a good Lebanese/Arabic place to have dinner, and having checked out Zomato, decided to come here for a meal We had a very nice selection of vegetarian options that were available 👍We were served good black and green olives with brown bread rolls - a good way to break bread with well-seasoned olives 👍 Had Hummus, fatoush, Muhamara, Warak enab, fattoush, batata harra followed by the lentil soup. All these were served with fresh baked Arabic breads and another round of the warm brown rolls - The food was exquisite, could not fault anything in the meal, everything served was really very well prepared. 👎The downer of the meal was the listless service - which is really surprising in such a nice restaurant - This is the difference between a good restaurant and a great one. Our server had a completely disinterested attitude, we requested for an extra Hummus, and it took forever to come, and on reminding this person, no apology offered, just a gesture with the hands - it is coming. On asking for the bill, he did the payment on the credit card machine, no interest in finding out how the meal experience was, ( We would have only thanked him for the wonderful meal) - just left the CC receipt and the bill on the extreme end of the table and walked away without handing back the bill or the CC receipt. Have been a bit harsh on giving 3 stars, but hopefully, the management takes this positively and gets more consistency in the service as the food is brilliant The location is excellent, plenty of parking available underground. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out, great outdoor sitting - a nice setting for a lovely meal.

Oh Boy! Where do I start... Well, let me tell any beginners at zomato when you see any restaurant with a 4.5 rating with 150plus reviews, you can be sure that it will be an amazing restaurant. And that’s exactly what it was.. one of the best places to have good authentic Lebanese food. Just writing this review makes me want to go back for more. Yup, that’s how good it is. The service too was amazing. Their Mix grill, Hummus with meat, Grilled Prawns are all top notch. You can even select fresh fishes / seafood from their catch section. Sure, it’s on the expensive side but believe me it will be worth it.

One of the best casual Lebanese restaurants I have been to in Dubai. I find this outlet has better quality and better tasting food compared to all the other 3 outlets. The meats here are so succulent and juicy with so much flavour packed in exhibits the quality, good standards and culinary skills of their cooks. Ambience on fleek. Food was great and staff were alright. Not too crowded for a Friday afternoon. We ordered for a half grilled chicken. It came with veggies and some fries. Chicken was tender and veggies were grilled to perfection. The fries were also different from its kind. The main differential factor was the bread they serve every time, it’s fresh and hot. Worth the wait and money. Will definitely visit again this weekend.

However I think some Staff need more training and to pay attention to the order as they punched some item twice although I did remind them but they didnt bother to adjust it and charged me for it. in past 14 days that i have found this place i came by about 7 times and i became their regular customer until today... sat outside with my friend and their staff saw us but no one attended us, i complained and the guy instead of apologizing for making us wait 15 mins he just told me next time just show your face inside and say im sitting out, handed us the menu and never saw him again, i dont recommend this place to anyone and i would never go there again. what a waste of 1000+ aed.

Ever heard of Al Hallab Restaurant? This Lebanese Restaurant offers a variety of dishes from the Lebanese Cuisine that will make you drool! Kunafa, Tabouleh, you name it! This is a Shrimp Fekhara dish, an oven-baked shrimps 🍤 with green and red peppers, all in tomato sauce. The best part that its topped with a load of melted cheese! Kinda looks like an italian pizza 🍕. Bab el bahr is one of my favorite places in dubai. It is especially known for the seafood quality. The place is huge with a very nice location which is on the boulevard. There is an outdoor seating and shisha is served. The service is excellent and the waiters are very professional. They have many famous dishes : - the lobster soup is amazing ⭐️ - their batata harra is the best !! - we ordered fattouch, tabboule, hommos that are good. - shrimp fatteh that is a specialty 10/10. - all their seafood such as the grilled lobster, fried calamari, and fried and grilled shrimp are of high quality⭐️ - they have miskeh ice cream not to be missed Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Al Hallab has been one of my favorite Lebanese restaurants since it only its first branch in Al Garhoud in Dubai, and this new venue in Downtown promised not to disappoint. The food is of very high quality and the prices are competitive for this type of restaurant. They serve very good shisha too. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. The service could be improved but overall a very pleasant experience.

Best place for seafood in Dubai Period! Surely try the fried jumbo shrimp, the fish grilled/fried (I usually go for the hammour). If you’re going with a group of friends then I’d advise to share 5/6 starter selections then have shrimps and fish shared.

Talk about the worst service in the history of mankind! This place lacks service ethics. We reserved and we're seated in the worst area. According to our server - a decent one among the bunch - he said that on Fridays the area we are in gets so hot and the A/C doesn't work properly. We complained many times about how hot it was and the servers were bringing in the portable A/Cs but were keeping them in the other section. The manager and supervisor on duty were unaccommodating and rude. What a waste of space really! Food is great. But when the service is this bad I will gladly take my money elsewhere. The variety of food is so beautiful especially the salted fish, I have enjoyed sayadiyeh dish noting that I am not a fish fan but I give it a 10/10 when it comes to the beautiful combination of spices. The starters are amazing even the presentation is so beautiful I advice you to a visit. Shisha lover will enjoy it I gave 4 just because I think that they should lower little bit the prices.

Been to @alhallabuae several times and every experience was different and increasingly better. This time when I went to Al Hallab Bab El Bahr in Downtown, they treated me to try this dessert for free. This is a combination of Ghazal Ice Cream and Chocolate Fudge Cake. The dessert, best for two, was so tasty and yummy. The waffle cone which looked simple, was way beyond my expectations. You would never regret trying this chain of restaurants. To be mentioned, the ice cream scoops were laid on cotton candy, which was one of my childhood craves. Thank you Al Hallab for being pleasing, always!

The order arrived 15 minutes late. The driver called me to ask for the address and to send him the location on whatsapp. The food arrived very cold and not well packed as you can see in the photo. The Knefe arrived like frozen. They have the best knefe in Dubai

My first encounter with this restaurant was for a recent Iftar invitation. The good experience started from it's extremely convenient location. It's located right next to underground free parking at the Emaar Boulevard. One has to appreciate that when driving in any metropolitan city. The iftar buffet was quite generous with quite few options to choose from. Mainly it had Lebanese dishes but you can still find couple of continental ones. They offered quite good selection of desserts from traditional arabic sweets to custored etc. One of the highlight was the selection of appetizer set on the table before iftar. I haven't seen that many options set for you before you start your journey towards buffet tables. They do offer good sheesha. In fact I would probably go there just for that sometime. Tip: it was quite crowded, I would suggest to book your table before making any plan at least during Ramadan.

This is a review of the Iftar spread only. The highlights were the Great staff and the ambience. Great place for group of friends / family. The Iftar itself was quite good, Iftar appetisers were served at the table accompanied by fresh bread. The main courses had quite a lot of variety and it's not really easy to feast immediately after fasting the whole day: Desserts were awesome - The best was the sumptuous pistachio ice cream. Worth going back for!!

The seating outside makes this entire restaurant one of my favourites! We ordered: 🍟 Spicy Potatoes 🥗 Tabbouli 🍗 Roasted Chicken Plate Everything was so so tasty! I was in Lebanon a few weeks prior to visiting AlHallab and the tabouli and spicy potatoes tasted just like they did in 🇱🇧! We were offered a small portion of mughli on our way out which was so sweet and delicious! Would definitely be back!

Nice place. Great ambiance. Great Food. I only thing i didnt like i was having lunch with my friend and i heard the zahur azan. the music was on in the rest. I was expecting them to off the music. Since they did not off the music i went at the entrance counter and asked the guy there to swift off the music until azan is over. He answered me saying that he can't since they have other customers. Though the rest was fully vacant. I still insisted since it is just a matter of few minutes. Buy instead he closed the restaurant door so that the azan is not heard and music was still on. It should be a mandate that during azan time the music SHOULD BE switched off. I hope basic religion respect is excepted from every person in UAE

While it was raining last week we stopped here for some dinner. The staff were very nice and moved a table under an umbrella for u to sit at. I drank some Moroccan mint tea and my wife had some sort of fruity drink(I remember it had watermelon with it). We chose a few dishes from the hot and cold sections and all were excellent. The menu had some great options for both vegetarians and meat/fish eaters alike.

I discovered the place by coincidence with a friend for coffee and because of the warm welcome of the staff and mainly the manager, I decided to come back with 6 of my friends. What a delightful experience, the food was super good and fresh, the menu is quite different compared to the regular Lebanese restaurant and the staff once again was really welcoming. Delicious food & friendly staff. Love the outdoor seating & if it's chilly then they have these warmers & blankets which is perfect. We always order the hummos, mutabbal & rakakat kibneh. Also like their salads. Favorite on the menu is the fish (esp sea bass) cooked in salt - you get to pick your own fish. Honestly overall the quality is fantastic & they have such a wonderful variety of seafood dishes which is hard to pick from so each time we try something new. Definitely recommend this place. I went last night with my family and all I can say is OMG! Their menu is simple but gorgeous and full of quality! We preferred the salted fish, grilled fish and shrimps and some fried fish. Every dish I tried was delicious and tender and full of flavor. Not to mention their amazing appetizers such as fried calamari and fatuosh. I also had shisha and it was very good compared to other places. Service is great and the ambiance and decor is outstanding! As I walked to the bathroom I was gazing with amazement at the restaurant inside. It's a must try for everyone and a forever favorite of mine!

This place deserve an all-star rating. The location is just remarkable, the decor is unique and gives a sense of elegance. The reception staff is very welcoming and the waiting staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The food however, is what keeps us coming back, time after time. Al Hallab at the Downtown offers an authentic fine dine atmosphere and experience, without having to go to a 5-star hotel. When you walk into the restaurant you can easily tell that they have spared no expense when it comes to the interiors and creating a top notch glamorous ambiance. It's a massive space with a large indoors area split into smoking and no smoking, whereby you can enjoy sheesha in their smoking section. They also have a very nice outdoor deck, which is perfect in the cooler months and usually packed and buzzing. I hear great things about their seafood and meat items from friends. Being a Vegetarian I have only tried their Vegetarian variety, primarily their cold and hot mezze and the experience has consistently been great. Staff and service are excellent, very well trained, efficient and friendly. The place is indeed a bit pricey but the quality of food, service and overall experience offered makes it worth it. If you are looking for a premium Arabic restaurant to impress your guests then this place will definitely do the trick :).

Despite being overpriced, the restaurant provides a real and fresh seafood experience. recommended appetizers: marinated feta cheese, kebbe samak, and moutabal. One low thing though is the staff, more smiles can help and plus the manager visited the surrounding tables and skipped ours, maybe he didn't like my superman t-shirt :)

Not may Lebanese restaurants are seafood, hence a this one is special from this sense. The restaurant has 3 sections, smoking, non smoking and an outdoor seating on the boulevard which is really nice in winter when weather is cool. Service is good and warm as you can expect in many Lebanese restaurants. Food is mainly seafood. The fish is fresh and tasty. The Sultan Ibrahim fish is really fresh and delicious. However, some of the appetizers like the Tabouleh and the Fatouch are not as good as one would expect.

I went there for lunch and had fatoush salad, hummus, batata salad and tomato feta cheese as cold mezzeh as well as kebbet samak and shrimp provencal as hot mezzeh and then the sea bass fish cooked in salt. I would say all was delicious other than the potato salad. For dessert we got the ice cream with ghazel banat and ice cream with pistachio paste and both were so good that I took more than a spoonful of each as I promised myself. great food, and service went there for eid lunch and impressed with the service. fish was perfectly fresh and cooked to perfection, loved the starters fattoush, hummus and all the mezze. not too impressed with the desserts. we were 8 people and ordered 3 kilos of fried fish and 1 kilo grilled fish. bill was 1200 AED quite affordable. all in all a pleasant experience. will go again

Visited Al Hallab on a wednesday evening after iftar. With great expections we walked in only to be disappointed. While we entered there was no notice given to us that the AC was not working. Impressed by the ambiences we took our seat and after a while started to feel hot and that is when we realised the AC was not working. We ordered a seafood soup, lentil soup, steak and grilled chicken. The waiter came back to inform us there was no seafood soup ... anyway.. the lentil soup was good.. besides that everything was bland and we ate by force trying not to waste. The steak had no mash potato and lacked flavor. The staff more over looked really lazy as if they were working by force. I was surprised to see that Al Hallab does not offer mixed grill... they have a very limited range of menu. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Last time here... not worth the amount they charge.

Excited by the 'Lebanese' and 'seafood' tag, I visited Al Hallab in the Boulevard Downtown- a perfect location must I say. For starters, we ordered a Hummos which was served with fresh hot pita bread and pickled olives. It was one of the best Hummos I've had. It was fresh, creamy and you can have that with just about anything! We also ordered a shrimp fekhara- oven baked shrimps& bell peppers topped with cheese. The dish was a little sweet because of the tomatoes and onions but still scrumptious. It went very well with Hummos and pita bread. We also ordered Seafood Almond soup, that was served with a deliciously soft multigrain bread. For mains, we ordered Thermidor lobster Shush samak, Shish tawouk, and a linguine pasta which my sister wanted to pack up for the next day. The food looked beautiful. And tasted even better. The meat was cooked well until beautifully tender, and was served with crispy fries. The shish tawouk was accompanied with a delicious garlic sauce while the shish samak with tartar sauce and saffron rice. It all went perfectly well together! The lobster ended up much bigger than we had anticipated, so the lobster accounted for half the bill. The sauce was delicious and creamy, and looked really cool since the meat and sauce was within the shell itself. However, the lobster meat wasn't cooked to perfection. It was a bit chewy and hadn't tenderised enough. The pasta( which we were too full to have that night) was amazing! It was served in a nice tangy tomato sauce with a lot of seafood- it was nice and light to eat. The pricing is a little on the higher side, but it's totally worth it. Be careful while ordering the lobster though!the service was great too. Will definitely be visiting this place to try out more of their stuff, and the shisha!

You have to try iftar there, its so well organised... Starters on the table, main course & dessert buffet, so its not too crowded at the buffet which is brilliant. The food is really good & the decorations are classy. Highly recommended.

We visited All Hallab downtown for lunch this week. The ambience is very impressive. We ordered hommos with chickpeas, shrimp fekhara, Tabouleh as starters . The shrimp and feta cheese salad was very different , rich ,flavourful and delicious. The hommos in my views is one of the best in town. The juices were fresh. In the main course we opted for grilled fish with chips, fish shamak , shish tawouk and chicken Escalope. The prices are reasonable considering the location and ambience. The fish menu is impressive. Only suggestion is to work on the chicken menu which was little let down.

Visited Hallab bab el bahr on a recommendation from a friend. Must say I quite enjoyed it and so far best seafood restaurant I have tried in town. The wait staff are kind and professional, the food is delectable the fish is perfectly salted and fried the appetizers are amazing. Definitely will repeat.

Al hallab is my definite favourite restaurant for arabic food. Loved this place ever since they opened and was intrigued by the new sea food twist. Very luxurious setting with great ambiance and lovely outdoor seating in downtown area. All their mezze is fantastic and you cant go wrong with any of the choices. Thei signature dish is the fish thats cooked with salt. I'm not very big on seafood but i definitely loved their fish and was worth a shot. will always come back for more!

Ana amazing place almost from every side. It's mainly a sea food place in the middleman of downtown Dubai. The fish is very fresh and you can select it from a variety displayed fish as in the picture below. They are also very creative with their dishes, for instance I loved the fish kebbe and shrimp fatteh. The service is one of the best. Location is a plus especially if you sit outdoors during the nice weather.

One of the best restaurants I visited in Dubai so far. Visited it a few days ago and what a meal! The seating inside is very comfy and with a lovely atmosphere, we sat outside so that we could smoke shisha. We ordered an octopus salad (excellent!!) as a starter, baked prawns with cheese, shish taouk, kunafah and shisha. All the seafood was cooked to perfection, everything tasted amazing and fresh. The octopus salad was simply delicious! The Shish taouk: the chicken was so soft and moist, I loved it. The kunafah was also excellent. The shisha was ok but nothing exciting. All in all, a great experience. Excellent atmosphere and food! Shame the shisha was not as exciting as the food. Service: great! Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!

this restaurant is located on the main road of sheikh mohammed bin rashid boulevard. we had a dinner for five, and loved every moment of it. we sat outside since the weather was nice and enjoyed the view of downtown dubai while the lights from the palm trees were twinkling. every thing we ordered was mouthwatering except for some which were nice but not "mouthwatering", and they don't offer mojitos or cocktails (non alcoholic) they only offer soft drinks and fresh juice or water, here's the list: side note: they got us a bowl of bread and kept refilling it so that we would eat the bread with our appetizers. Don't you just love it when the appetizers are delicious? salad: fattoush 4.4/5 hot mezze: - shrimp fakhara 5/5 - shrimp fatteh 5/5 main course: - 2 sayedeyet samak (due to small portions) 5/5 - thermidor lobster 5/5 - linguine frutti de mare 4.5/5 dessert: - chocolate fondant 3.5/5 (the inside wasn't "molteny" like all chocolate fondants, this was more like a cake) - othmalieh ashta 5/5 we had Moroccan tea after our desserts. I would come back definitely, loved the atmosphere, loved the ambiance, and loved the experience. perfect for all types of groups, whether you're going with your partner, friends, or family.. enjoy!
