We dined here last night after craving seafood.
For starters we did, 6 red chili mussels which were very decent, even though I was craving stuffed mussels which I haven't had for years!
Along with the mussels we got a crab roast to share and a snapper with red spice and mustard spice.
The snapper was phenomenal but I only wished the mustard was more mustardy and the red chili was too much like tandoori but it was good. Would have been ideal with a salad of sorts I'd recommend though.
The crab roast wasn't as per the taste expected and was much sweeter than expected but it was good and filling with wheat parathas!
Definitely worth a visit if you're craving reasonably priced seafood.

Had a surprisingly great family meal at Fish Hut. It was our first time dining there and it wasn’t disappointing at all. The place is calm and chill. Great concept of choosing your own seafood before they are cooked to your preferred choice of gravy or style. Fresh seafood collection and the restaurant doesn’t smell fishy at all! The fish were all of varying sizes so customers truly have choices. Preparation time didn’t take too long so it was really good. We had calamari cooked in butter and garlic. Perfectly yummy! Had Grilled seabass that went really well with peri peri sauce. Grilled sherry with spices that were also delightful to the palate though not too spicy. My favourite was the Black Pomfret roast. It was truly delicious! Went really well with the Parotta. All the fish dishes went well with the tasty vegetable fried rice. To top it all off, the price was really reasonable for a hearty and yummy meal with the family. We will definitely return! Thank you team Fish Hut!

A great place to enjoy fish & sea food
Went for a midnight meal as the restaurant is open 24/7. Ordered a red snapper with Red Spicy and lemon butter garlic as half and half. The fish was deliciously cooked. The only down side was that even though the restaurant was on Zomato Gold they said the grilled or fried fish doesn’t qualify for the offer.
The 1 for 1 are applicable to fixed price items on the menu only. Had the Fish Curry and Mango Curry Prawns. Taste of the food are delicious and fresh. Their poratta are freshly made and nice! Staff are friendly and gave recommendations on food. Thank you for the awesome experience!

Food: there is plenty of choice in starters and main courses and everything is freshly displayed at the kitchen counter. If you get stuck with your order, ask a friendly staff member and they will gladly help you to choose a piece of fish to your taste and preference as well as help you choose the manner of cooking and the way you would like to have it marinated. BIG, BIG plus, if you can't choose between two types of marinate, they will happily make one fillet or side of the fish with one sauce and the other one with another sauce. Absolute TOP!
Drinks: great choice of fresh juices - the mango juice is divine.
Must do: be adventurous and don't order at the table, go to the fresh fish display and have the staff help you make a decision, they are very knowledgeable and will do their utmost to offer you something that fits your flavour of the moment.

I have been a regular at this place since they opened a branch in Al Barsha.
Our favs include fish travancore curry( which is unfortunately not available anymore) , malabari fish curry, stir fried hammour and wheat parota..
However upto recently they have hugely hiked up their prices. The malabari fish curry that used to cost AED 25 is a straight AED 45 now!!
Can’t be a regular to this place anymore!😀

Love this place for two things. Creativity in what they cook and presentation/ambience.
Love the way they cook full fishes for your, suited to your plater. Great place for a family outing. Some of their curries are a deadly fight with red hot chilli peppers, there are some distinct Malabari flavours as well. A bit pricey but you will not complaint after your meal.
Fish and loads of fresh fish!! One can choose from the variety of fish on display or from the live ones in the aquarium, get it cooked in whatever format you want, to your liking taste.
And it is certainly value for money. The only drawback is the “ fishy smell” that lingers throughout.. can’t help it, being a fish joint!

Visited this place during lunch hours , looking at the menu ordered for the above mentioned dishes drinks and all of them were served within 20 mins of time which is fair enough . Everything went perfect with our table , Inspite of the place being packed the supervisor Mr . Preseley ensured everything goes perfect .

They have laid fresh fish, Prawns, Shrimps, Lobster & crabs which we select and select the kind of marination and they make it fresh.
Shrimp roast with tadka of Kadipatta. Excellent taste typical Malabar style. Out of this world. This is a must try for all. Highly recomended.
Sultan Ibrahim Pan fried. Excellent taste of this local fish with Indian style masala.

Tried this seafood hub with some clear expectations. Pretty much reached to the same but not to the great extent. Food was amazing for sure whereas the entire vibe around was not that happening ! Might try some time later to explore more.
The best place to have sea food in Dubai, its slightly expensive but you will never forget the taste and definitely visit again, the fishes are so fresh and the marination is just perfect. Although it says it has Zomato gold offer which is 1+1 dish its only on gravy or other small starters and not on the fishes which is weighed
We were looking for a good sea food restaurant when we stumbled upon this restaurant. We were taken by surprise by the extensive variety of fishes that were being served. The SeaBream was a refreshing breather from the usual Salmon and Hammour. You have to try Mustard &Papri Lemon; Lemon and garlic; Green Spicy and Red Spicy with some Parotha and hummus. Their Caesar Shrimp salad and cream of seafood soup are amazing too. The best part is you can select your own fish and get it cooked the way you want it. Fancy enough? They have a good variety for kids as well that makes it a true winner! So, the next time you are in Barsha you must check this one out. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Omg omg I still get the taste of the fish I had here!! Good food makes me happy.. this place is a hidden gem indeed, staffs are warm , great place and awesome food we were very happy to use the zomato gold offer here and make sure you let the staffs know that you would use gold privilege here as there are selective complimentary dishes.. over all in love with the place will revisit again.. we had sea bream each side marinated with different marination and shrimp fried rice is a must try..

Favorite items are sea bream/sea bass/humour marinated in red chilli and lemon and thyme.
The grilled shrimps are also a favorite here marinated in garlic lemon and butter.
Very good food. Well worth a visit. The curries were nice but the fresh fish was better. Grilled prawns were a bit "wet" - was told it was due to the charcoal used and is a personal preference thing. Preferred the prawns at Oud Mehta. Service was very good and seafood was fresh. But have just been spoilt by the other branch, hence being picky.

Been here twice so far and always get the same genuine and friendly service! I guess I’ve always avoided busy dinner or lunch timings as well hence I’ve been lucky! But nonetheless, I’m always satisfied with the quality of fish and prawns they served all these while. And plus, this particular branch in Al Barsha opens 24 hours! Brilliant!

I'm not a big fan on seafood, but even someone like me loved the food at Fish Hut. Firstly, the varieties are incredibly appetizing! The spicy salmon and mango prawn curry are my favorite dishes. Super delicious! And a big shoutout to the friendly staff, especially the manager, who are so attentive and helpful to the customers. The restaurant is also open 24*7, so you can literally visit at any time you feel like! Definitely worth a visit!

We visited fish hut Al Barsha . The best part of it is it opens 24 hours. As I have heard a lots of good things about this restuarent, expectation was really high. And undoubtedly it becomes true.
We started with lemon butter garlic mussels. It was out of the world. We also tried black pomfret and tiger prawn.
I would like to mention another dish which is black pomfret finger fry. It is another must try. They have a variety of fishes with different cooking style. So those people who likes fish should nt miss out this spot.
Try their fresh juices. It’s really gd that they freshly squeeze juices in their restuarent . Food taste , service Evrything was top class.
When u visit at late night u do not expect such experience from any restaurant.

The staff knowledge and friendliness was amazing!
We decided to sit outside to enjoy the lovely breezy weather while eating the fresh catch. We ordered Sea Bream (mixed marination of green and red sauce), Fried Calamari, Fish Fingers and Fattoush. The selection process for my fish was guided by our lovely waitress (you can also go inside the restaurant and physically select the fish you want!).
Both the marinations were amazing with the green one being slightly spicier (I was warned in advance! 😉). Calamari I felt was a bit difficult to chew on; fish fingers were also decent but the Fattoush was just amazing!!!
Fish hut is new restaurant opened in Barsha with the seafood concept and they serve the freshest fish i ever had. Ambience was casual vibrant, nicely lit up and had wooden seating arrangements.
For starters we tried grilled fish and calamari.
The black promfret fish was slit into two part and both parts were differently marinated as per our choice of herbs. We also had shrimp fry, it was fresh and extremely juicy, a burst of flavours in each bite. It had mix of Indian spices and curry leaves, was really spicy but brilliant.The sauce accompanied it complimented the prawns beautifully, must try.
Main course we had Fish Malabari and Shrimp Roast, fish malabar had right amount of spice and sourness too, it went well with wheat parottas. Shrimp roast was onion based. Prawns fried rice was the best too. It had a very nice flavour.
Overall the Fish hut offers the best seafood delicacies. Its all about enjoying natural flavour of seafood. Loved it to the core.
Having heard a lot about this place from local acquaintances, I visited the outlet. The food was beyond delicious,the fish was very fresh and tasty and the ambience at the restaurant was even more better with the friendly stuff.Our waiter was Dev,a very professional worker,very friendly and communicative...can’t go wrong with this restaurant. Try their grilled Lebanese prawns - a mix of lebanese seasoning and amazing garlic. If you like mashed potatos then give it a try as well. Their choice of salads could be better though. Service - 5/5!

The food was really good ; and I think they have a super sweet manager I sow some of the comments of the in friendly staff but not all; some of them seem unmotivated ; but overall I think the restaurant wAs good ; my kids lived the shrimps ordered twice and the fish fingers reminded me of my childhood.. my assistants had the mango Indian style curry and another red they loved it .. my huby had grilled fish .. I will sure go back coz the kids loved it.. the only major issue was the chairs they were like the garden chairs I found them uncomfortable at all.. however they got me pillows but still didn’t help.. but I think this is a simple thing that can be changed ..

Good seafood places in Dubai can be rare, which is ironic because of all the history with fish, but Fish Hut is making a difference. Visit it on a weekday, and it was almost empty, which is great, because I know I would get quality fish. Ordered the grilled shrimps and char-grilled Hamour (half Lemon-half Spicy) - Was very tasty, but I felt it needed more punch. Also, not offering the bread for free was kind of a letdown. Service was AMAZING, and for that, I'd come back.

Giving this between a 3 and 4 so 3.5, here’s why. Walked into the empty restaurant and got hit by a very unwelcoming smell.
Fish variety was quite good, we ordered shrimps grilled with lemon butter garlic. Now here was our mistake, we ordered grilled calamari with the same sauce where the move should have been fried.
Ordered 3 types of fish, hammour half spicy half lemon but garlic. Red snapper half spicy half lemon thyme and a third sea bream was lemon butter garlic and spicy.
I recommend going for the shrimp, fried calamari and sea bream. Quality was good for a non hotel standard restaurant I’d give it a 3.5 but Big Tony has high standards so he’s on a 3. Little Nagib gives it a 4.
I would honestly classify this as a hidden gem. Completely off-path and in a fairly non-crowded area, this joint is a fish lover’s paradise! The novelty with this is you get to choose the fish you want, the way you want it cooked (over charcoal/grilled/pan fried/deep fried) and the marinade that you want with it too! The charcoal cooked hamoor with the red spicy marinade and the breaded shrimps are a must try.
If you are looking for a simple, no frills restaurant and just some seriously fresh seafood I highly recommend Fish Hut. It's not easy to find a restaurant that serves FRESH seafood in Dubai. But Fish Hut manages to do that. Their marinations and gravies are en-point. A must visit for seafood lovers. Try the Hammour and the Grilled calamari.

The Fish Hut is an amazing, newly-opened seafood restaurant in Barsha. This is the second of two branches, the first being in Oud Metha. I can’t believe it’s already three years since I first visited the original on street 8, behind Lamcy Plaza. I can remember how impressed I was then. And it’s the same all over again with this new, bigger restaurant. Same concept too. Basically, you can either choose your seafood (fish, shrimp, crab, squid, etc.) from water tanks or ice displays. Your next choice is how you want your meal cooked – pan fried, char-grilled or deep fried. You can also have it curried, South Indian style. Of course, one can also order à la carte.
I reside in Kuwait and shuffle between Dubai and Kuwait often.
I make sure I never miss dining at fish hut.
Absolutely fresh sea food you can choose from and ask them to cook it in whatever marinade they have. The best for me by far is the lemon thyme, gooseberry and red spicy or green spicy...thats if you enjoy spicy otherwise they have other marinades too.
Try their tiger prawns and crabs... Everything can be either fried or char grilled.
They have 2 branches. Ones in Bur Dubai and other ones close to the Mall of the Emirates in Barsha, which is a new, bigger and can accommodate more number of people.
Go ahead and give it a shot, no disappointments guaranteed.
P.s: The staff are quite friendly.
I totally loved it. We used to go to Fanna and Bukathir near Burj Al Arab however this came as a real pleasant surprise. Much more cleaner, fresher servings and courteous staff. The Manager himself was making sure to advise on the best offerings.

A minimally done restaurant with green interiors and wooden tables.The whole restaurant was empty when we entered in which didn’t give me good impression first,but i was totally wrong..
Coming to the food,ordered mussels fry,grilled calamari,prawn mango curry,rice and sultan ibrahim deep fry.
We asked for deep fried mussels,but the chef recommended us to go for pan grill and we did.Maaaan!! I’ve never tasted something this good before.!Properly grilled and properly cooked inside.The chutney created the whole zing.
Prawn mango curry was done to perfection.
Again the sultan ibrahim deep fry was spicy,soft and fried perfectly.
The best thing is you can choose your marination style and your cooking style and thats a Yay!!
To wrap up the meal we ordered avocado shake and lime juice.The shake was rich in texture and taste.
The only con is the smell as soon as you enter the restaurant,but after sometime it felt nothing weird.

So far so good.. we have been to this restaurant twice and loved it. We want to go back to try some of the other dishes on the menu, so I guess it’s a good sign. Their fresh juices are indeed freshly squeezed and rich, portions are generous. Fish curries are amazing, I love those crispy curry leaves chef throws in the plate! We ordered char grilled fish both times and it came soft and moist and flavorful. There’s a guy there who can recommend which type of preparation goes well with which type of fish, nice touch. My only observation is that when the fish is de boned grilled and finally served, there’s not much flesh left to it... so order bigger than what may seem to be enough on first glance.
Lavish seating, well lit and neatly done interiors. We ordered the prawn mango curry, tranvancore fish curry, Sea beam char grilled and Hamoor tava fried. Fish tasted fresh. I felt the currys should have a lil more gravy. The prawn mango curry missed the fine balance between mango and spices.
The fish fry/grilled were good. No rice or bread come with the grilled fish. It has to be ordered extra. The porota was fluffy and crispy on the sides. Overall, the food was good.
Just one downside- The moment you enter the restaurant, you get this smell same as going to the fish counter in supermarkets. The whole place had this off smell. If the smell was that of fish grilling or spices i feel it would still have been okay. After sometime you will get used to it but to me, the management should do something about it. That's my two cents.

وطبق سلطة فتوش مع الصوص
يعيبه المقاعد الخشبيه غير مريحه فقط ومن ناحية الأسعار فمرتفعة قليلاً
والخدمة رائعة ،، يستحق التجربة وأتمنى لهم التوفيق
جايين من السعودية وكان الوقت متأخر وبالصدفة طلع لي المطعم بعد مابحثت عن مطاعم تفتح ٢٤ ساعة ، وماندمنا كانت تجربة موفقة المطعم بسيط لكن شعرت فيه براحة عجيبة ، اعجبني بساطة الطاقم وكأن المطعم مملوك لعائلة واحدة💗المطعم نظيف الأكل جمييل وخفيف عالمعدة طلبنا رز بالليمون والأعشاب وشوربة خضار ومكرونة بحريه، والروبيان المقلي بمجرد ماخلصنا الطبق طلبنا ثاني.
مكان راقي واصحابه جدا ممتازين واسعارهم ممتازه والاكل ولاغلطه ماشاء الله ويفتح ٢٤ ساعه والاسماك فرش
وصلت للمطعم في وقت متأخر ويخلو من الزبائن مما اعطاني اريحيه وهدوء جميل
الموظفين ودودين ومهتمين بادق التفاصيل
جودة الطعام ممتازه جدا
السعر رائع، طعام شخصين ممكن يكفي ٣ اشخاص اكلهم متوسط
افضل مطعم سمك في دبي. اتيت اليه وفق توصيات الموقع أتريب ادفايسر. اختيار رائع. الاكل على اعلى مستوى. السعر معقول.
اكل ولا اروع سعره متوسط الى مرتفع لكن طعم جيد ومطعم نظيف والتعامل جيد جدا
