The best pizza in town! Excellent Negroni and the red house wine is extremely good!
Other favorite dishes: finocchio salad, peperoni cotti with cream cheese, all pasta dishes, rombo fish very good and delicate, vitello ribs super tasty and Chasper vegetables side dish good as well.
I heard they make Meringata sometimes, been there several times but never got the chance to find it available though...
By far the best Italian meal I've had in Dubai to date. A beautiful restaurant and a typical Tuscan menu to die for. Will definitely visit agsin soon!

Buzzing spot, good food, on the expensive side. Would recommend the classic burrata, tuna tartare, truffle pizza, and handmade Tuscan spaghetti with garlic/tomato sauce/basil. The quatro fromaggi gnocchi was exquisite. We only tried the tiramisu for dessert and loved it! The only disappointment was the octopus.

Visited il Borro last night and I must say it met all the high standards I expected based on the reviews and it’s recent accolade of winning the Timeout best restaurant in Dubai 2019. The atmosphere, vibe and mood of the restaurant was excellent and the food was fantastic. The service was great and difficult to fault. Perfect for a family, friends or a couples evening out.
Beautiful place. Excellent service. We ordered an all vegetarian meal and it was very good. We got the truffle pizza with penne arabiatta pasta. For deserts we got the tiramisu and the cheesecake. Absolutely loved them. A must if you are in Dubai and craving for Italian.

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro is a fine dining Italian restaurant at the Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel. That was too much of an understatement because Il Borro was actually named the best restaurant in the city at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2019 last February. Tastefully decorated inside and out its one of those restaurants which is as good to visit with family and friends as it is for business. Like all the venues at the Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel it is very popular with both locals and expats, so a booking is recommended.
I have been to Il Borro a couple of times and they haven’t disappointed me so far. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is great, the bartenders are doing a good job with the drinks and the live music sets the right mood. This place just has something special about it.
I have visited Dubai and being to this restaurant. Being an Italian food enthusiast I really loved the food also the hospitality and the ambiance amazed me. I will definitely re-command you to visit Il Borro Tuscan Bistro.
Named after the small Tuscan village owned and restored by Ferragamo this is a poolside Italian bistro in the Jumeriah Nassem Hotel. Service was very good but the food was even better. Will definitely return.
Very good Italian restaurant with excellent outdoor seating. We liked the food as it was very good, but the desserts were really delicious specially the Cheese Cake and the Tiramisu maybe the best in the city.
Looking for pizza and pasta for lunch without brunch crowds and settled on Il borro. Nice place with great ambience. The weather was good so the restaurant was opened up adding to the setting. Unfortunately tables on the edge or outside were all reserved.
The kids enjoyed their pizza. There’s no kids menu though.
For started we ordered fried calamari and prawns and the clam and mussels in a brilliant broth which was excellent for dunking bread and eating.
For mains I went with the seafood pasta and my wife the prawn pasta. The casarecce Pasta was new for me but the sauce and seafood were good. The prawn spaghetti wasn’t the best we’ve had. Dessert was the fondant. Not bad.
There was an octopus which I’ll try next time.

This is my favorite restaurant in Dubai. Amazing food and great set-up whether going out for lunch or dinner. Always classy. Go for the Grilled Octopus as this is their signature for me. The seafood pasta is also yummy and so is the ravioli. Cheese cake is must and you have to try it even if you are full

For starters I had the burrata YUM! As well as the tuna tartare.
For the main dish we had the truffle pizza (A classic). For dessert the tiramisu and chocolate fondant. Of course the chocolate cake won.
Il Borro is always a great restaurant to eat at for lunch or dinner.
I would recommend it 100% if you want yummy/fine Italian.
Super nice place and the food is relly good! One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in Dubai! I advise to book a table on the terrace, usually it is very busy so be sure to book some days in advace especially if you go during the weekend. Value for money is also good. Staff is super attentive, and the location is amazing!
Excellent food !! The quality of service was brilliant very friendly very mannered staff. Loved the ambience in the restaurant and everything was perfect. Had the big T bone steak is a must try if you are in a sharing group of at-least 3 or 4 people. The truffle pizza is just the best one i have had yet in Dubai , the grilled octopus and the cold cuts platter was simply perfect to start with and the tagliatelle pasta in white cream and truffle sauce was exquisite. There was much more but these were my personal favorites i would definitely recommend anyone to try these out if they were heading here.

Truffle pizza and linguine with lobster were winners. The other pasta dishes, strozzapreti with braised duck sauce and duck ragu, as well as the spaghettini with prawns were also delicious. Pasta is cooked on point, al dente. Beef carpaccio was very average.
Desserts were good but nothing to shout about. We wish we were told that some of the desserts (profiterole, biscotto gelato) were enough to share amongst 2-3 people.
Service lacked warmth and smiles. Didn’t feel particularly welcomed. They need to do better here.
Finally tried it out, went with family for a birthday dinner, the ambiance and decor is very light and calm, the place is lively enough to enjoy but not too busy, service was superb and one of the fastest in Dubai.
Food arrived in good portions and within 10 mins of ordering. I would definitely visit again.

Great espresso martini and truffle pizza, the truffle burrata was pretty special too! Service was good. We sat at the bar which got very busy at around 8pm, the vibe was good.
I like the fact that there is a lot of Italian staff in the restaurant. The sommelier could tell us a lot about the wines and there is a very affordable, Il Borro label Chardonnay on the menu which is really nice.
The pasta's have a lot of taste and are being prepared in a traditional italian way.
We ordered beef carpaccio as a starter and were a bit surprised about the size of the starter, it was two small bites, a bit disappointing. Carpaccio is no lobster or caviar, so no need to serve baby bites.
This place always surprises me with the food and service. The ambiance is very pleasant, its a perfect place for a romantic dinner as well. Highly recommended this restaurant to everyone.

Finally decided to try this place for lunch over the weekend. We ordered the following:
Burrata di Andria
Grilled octopus
Strozzapreti pasta with duck ragu
Tagliatelle al tartufo
Homemade profiteroles
Cheesecake with blueberries compote
In my humble opinion, best burrata in Dubai (my husband and I prefer it over La Petite Maison which was a shocking revelation since we are big LPM fans). Grilled octopus was perfectly cooked..nicely charred but tender. I could skip the tagliatelle with tartufo given the 185 aed price tag unless you’re really craving for some truffle (my husband did enjoy this dish though). I would personally come back just for the strozzapreti pasta! The texture of the pasta and the hearty taste. Two thumbs up!
Was quite shocked when they served the desserts..6 profiteroles is quite a lot for 50aed! They were excellent. Cheesecake was outstanding also. It’s creamier and lighter in texture compared to the typical rich, dense american cheesecakes.
Can’t wait to try their other dishes. You get really great value for the quality and portions. Service was top notch as well.. food arrived quickly (despite the place being busy) and servers were attentive but non intrusive.

Given the Dubai scene about Italian restaurants, I truly think Il Borro is providing a very good service and quality dishes.
I would highly recommend trying the Chianina meat. Still a little work to do on the Tiramisu'.

My second time at Il Borro last night and I have to say I enjoyed the food more than I remembered I did last time.
🏙The ambience / restaurant:
Beautiful setting always packed especially because it was a Thursday night of course. The singer is absolutely sensational but it is a shame it’s hard to hear her as the restaurant itself is just so loud and buzzing. The staff are extremely friendly and the service overall is honestly sensational. Probably one of the most happening restaurants in Dubai so I would definitely recommend to check this place out if you haven’t done so already.
🍽The food:
Going to give you the lowdown of what we ordered and my opinions on how they tasted.
Burrata: absolutely amazing!
Tuna tartare: delicious and the addition of the toasted hazelnuts really added to the whole dish, something I had never tried with a tuna tartare but it was honestly insane.
Marinated grilled eggplant: was unfortunately extremely undercooked and took ages to be served onto our table, even though it was a hot starter, the other hot starters were the first things to be served which I thought was a bit odd
Calamari: was ok, nothing to phone home about though (wish it came with some kind of aioli however it did not)
We ordered this thing, maybe it was the bruschetta, but it is basically tomato carpaccio served with a side of toasted bread and that was amazing, would go back to Il Borro just to eat that and the burrata
For mains, I had the mushroom risotto, that was great and super creamy and delicious. Beef tagliata is honestly insane! The beef just melts in your mouth and the addition of the Parmesan is great, a must ordered if you are a meat eater! The salmon is delicious and the lobster pasta does exactly what it says on the tin - absolutely beautiful food overall.
Everyone’s favorite: dessert! We ordered four desserts to try and they are all pictured below. We all did not enjoy the tiramisu, it was extremely bitter and not at all what I’m used to from tiramisu’s I’ve eaten around Dubai. Definitely would not order this again and do not recommend anyone else to as there are way better desserts to try on their menu. The molten chocolate cake was nothing special, as it’s gluten free that is really the only selling point for me. The meringue and strawberry dessert looked and tasted amazing, meringue is one of my favorite things and it was very meringue heavy, I just wish there could be an equal ratio of strawberry’s to balance the dish. The winner of all time best cheesecakes goes to the one we had last night. The Il Borro berry cheesecake is just the best thing you will ever eat and if you don’t order it at the end of your delicious meal you are honestly a fool!

A beautiful restaurant, I was lost for words. We were seated inside for obvious weather reasons. I found the interior decor truly inspiring. It was the perfect fusion of modern elegance and Italian charm. The over sized lanterns added to the already rustic, luxuriously Tuscan atmosphere.
Unfortunately, I was not as equally impressed with the food. For my entree, I ordered a traditional burrata, and the 'Grilled Sliced Striploin with Shaved Parmesan' for my main. The burrata was somewhat tasty, though nothing extraordinary. I was not particularly impressed with the striploin. The meat was falling apart but it was over-seared on the outside. A rather strange combination and complete letdown for someone who's a major meat-lover!
I would probably give this restaurant another go to try some of the other dishes, but I certainly won't be ordering the tenderloin any time soon!

The al fresco dining terrace looked very inviting, but we opted for the ever so cosy indoor area. Showcasing traditional tuscan flavors and regional delicacies, the menu is simple and well curated.
Even though the pasta is simple and rustic, its fresh. Its all made in house and we adore that!
What we tried on both our visits:
For starters, it was the grilled prawns with lemon oil, burrata di Andria, tuna tartare and beef tartare.
For mains, it was the four cheese gnocchi, home made tagliatele with black truffle, spaghetti with prawns and red chilli and finally the least favorite dish on the table, the grilled salmon fillet.
Desserts, will always include a tiramisu, not leaving without it! Absolutely loved the meringue sphere with cheesecake cream and fresh strawberry. Unfortunately we were massively let down by the chocolate fondant.
The food is generally excellent, with a few glaring misses.
Very romantic italian setting. Really appreciated the feel of this place. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. We tried the eggplant melanzane, the lentils salad, and the margheritta pizza. I was pleased with every dish. I loved the combination of pumpkin with lentils. Although i felt the portion of the salad was a bit small. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

We tried a variety of menu options and they were all amazing. For starters, we ordered beetroot and goat cheese appetizer, it was very delicious.
Pizza truffle was delicious. It was just about the perfect amount of truffle flavor in it. It was crisp and rich. Pasta with tomato sauce was delicious as well but I am not a past person so I wouldn’t be a good judge on that. Slow cooked veal was very tender and the mashed potatoes was made nicely.
My favorite desert is always chocolate fondant and this one was the best one I had in Dubai so far. Tiramisu was too much coffee tasted for my liking, but again I don’t like tiramisu in general. Cheesecake was nicely made and I got my birthday message on it as well, thanks to our amazing waitress Patricia. she was very attentive and helpful throughout our visit.

We went for lunch during weekday: the place is very nicely decorated with a direct view on the turtles pool. The service was efficient without extra. You got a basket of fresh bread with olive oil and tapenade.
We had tuna carpaccio which was fresh and tasty. The eggplant appetiser was excellent. As main meal, the pizza was a bit disappointing as the white sauce and crust did not have a lot of taste. The pasta was good.
Overall, the experience was good with fresh and simple Tuscan food. I just missed the Wow effect that I expected based on the reviews and awards.
I can say, you can really have the same experince of an italian cauisine in italy, the food homemade as the pizza and pasta baked inhouse and it is really delicious.

I LOVE this restaurant! It has become my favorite Italian restaurant of all time! The food is just wow and it is clearly worth the money. I have never had a dish that was disappointing and neither have the guests I can with. I have taken my close friend there for her birthday and she loved it. I myself will be going there soon for my birthday because I just have to share the experience and excellency with my closest friends. I highly recommend this place. This place is great for couples, friends, business and family. I would recommend to book in advance (maybe a week). They tend to fill up quickly.

Great food. If you are a truffle lover. Try their pizza and pasta with truffle, they put just the right about to enjoy it, and don’t overwhelm it! Their oysters were pretty good. The decor is amazing. Light colors, not dark like a lot of places in Dubai. Friendly staff. I would not recommend their steak, asked for medium rare n it came really rare. Beef tartar was one of the best I ever tried, as all the appetizers - charcuterie board was vanished in seconds, same as octopus and burrata of course. Off to the next - pizza Tartufo - was out of this world and must go for!
As I vouching on other guys enjoying lobster linguine, beef cheeks, truffle (again!) tagliatelle, I just swallowed the whole sea bass (baked in salt and gracefully deboned after that by the table) - this is the thing: the server offered me to try (instead of the sauce) to use their own olive oil (from Il borro) - that was a hit!! sorry didn’t take pictures of the fish...
