This is one the best restaurant serving the Arabic Shawarma. Their Homous and Pita Bread is the best. The place is usually crowded during the weekend. But its worth the wait for the some goof food.

We went to this lovely place today. It's a Syrian restaurant first established in 1978.The quality of the food is 5 star 👏🏻👏🏻 I must congratulate them for the high quality and tasty meals. Everything was fresh and tasty. I'm pretty sure if you go there once it will be your hangout place. All meals were full of yummy flavors . Perfect management 👏🏻👏🏻 always around to check if everything is fine. Professional chef 👍🏻👏🏻 big menu with lots of options. Fresh meat, chicken and seafood. Grilled or fried, they have meals for all tastes. Very nice mixed grills👏🏻 perfect grilled fish with their chef's special sauce . Crispy falafel . Fresh salads. Perfect appetizers👏🏻 fresh juices . Nice desserts 👏🏻👍🏻🌺😍 nice ambiance . You can sit upstairs family area private with curtains or downstairs and outside as well. So loved everything about them. 👏🏻💖

One of the good Lebanese restaurant in the area. Located next to our very famous Bait Al Mandi. Freshly baked read with hummus is mind blowing. Their grills items are must try. Family friendly and good ambience.
Finally we planned to try al shami. Found many variety options. Ordered for brain samdwich,chicken sandwich and mexican shawarma. They have amazing tea. Food is good.
This was our third visit to this place with family . Nice place to enjoy Arabic food . We had hummus , cheese manakish , zaatar manakish , falafel sandwich, cocktail. Everything was fantastic. The hot pita bread served here tastes very good with the hummus . The staff was very good and the ambience was very nice too . They do have outdoor seating area to enjoy the meal during winters . RTA parking is available but might have to struggle on weekends to find one .

Enjoyed Iftar yesterday. This is a restaurant that serves Arabic cuisine. We were 6 people and given a good table.
The buffet was a reasonable speed. However what I liked more was the bite sized servings of salads ( mutable, fattoush) and hummus, which ensured that you tried everything without over eating.
The service though was superb. Top class.
Despite being a buffet the server regularly brought fruits, sweets, chops etc. To the table.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the evening.

Flavoursome Lebanese dishes. Had ordered yummy Baba ganoush, hummus, kuboos, pita bread, chicken bbq, Fatoush and Tabbouleh. To finish off the meal,had muhalabiya and kunafeh. Suleiman tea was complimentary. Very friendly staff and a good ambience !
When in Dubai you gotta try this place. It has the best lebense this place can offer with amazingly large portion sizes. The pita bread and hummus platters are really tasty . It's best to sit out in pleasant weather and enjoy the meal with really friendly staff

The very first visit to relish last meal of the day was truly memorable. So wish to visit this eatery again & for sure again. Attendants, food, flavours, presentation, ambiance; each & every aspect made it a lasting experience.
There are 2 more eateries adjacent & many around the street but this one stands out from the crowd. Delicious food, outdoor seating, quick service & overloaded pita baskets what else do you need? Quantity was really satisfying.

Shawarma Plate Chicken & Meat - 5
Presented so well that no one could resist dipping into even without an appetite. They had options to choose from Chicken, Meat or both, we tried both. They layered Shawarma chicken & meat pieces over hummus; the combination tasted great. On the side were pita, mayonnaise, chilli sauce, fries & salad.
Half Chicken on machine - 5
This was roasted small whole chicken, tender & juicy served with fries, coleslaw salad, mayonnaise & chilli sauce.
Kabab Meat Sandwich - 5
Don't mistaken it as a real sandwich; on the contrary, it was a roll. It had nicely shaped meat kababs over a hint of dressing.
Favorite Shawarma of all time. Their staffs are also very friendly and accommodating to special requests. I just hope they have more people who can speak and understand English well.✌🏻😘 They are mostly Arabic Speakers and they find it difficult to get my order right.

I was invited by friends of any Shami restaurant in the observatories and the food was good to be not as it should be the balela was no tasty Hommos it’s good chicken was little dry but serves was good tabouleh nice taste Vine leave need little lemon 🍋.

Its weekend in dubai and this weekend i was craving for lebanese food,there are lotss of lebanese restaurant in dubai but top on my list is Al shami at muraqqabat...when i opnd the menu i was very confused...started wid fattoush and olives i ordered,
🌟Tabouleh-arabic salad with cucumber spinach n tomatoes which was so damn awesome.
🌟Hummus with meat cubes-a different kind of lebanese dish with boneless lamb meat cubes.
🌟Falafel-Al shami have one of the best falafels in dubai wid garlic sauce and mayo it was delightful.
🌟Grilled hamour-one of my favourite fish grilled so well wid tomato sauce.
🌟Orange juice wid pulp was a cherry on the cake.

Me and my husbans decided to dine in here the second time. things that i love is you can feel the ramadan vibes in this restaurant also their interior is very syrian style. Its just that a bit crowded inside. I mean tge spacing between tge tables is narrow .

We ordered mixed grilled with chops, tabouleh , mixed pastries, and lutus cheese cake. I love mixed grilled with chop. Who doesnt?. Their tabouleh suits my taste bud, not to sour and its thr perfect combination with the mixed grill. 😍 the mixed pastries are ok im not totally wow but its ok. Their lotus cheese cake is nice but not wow for me.

I would say i will recommed this restaurant to my friends. But if you are looking for a cheaper restaurant, this is not the right place. Their price is not expenssive but not cheap aswell based on the quality and quantity of food they serve.
We tried the shawarma and chicken madfoon. Both were delicious. Ambience is great and they have outdoor seating as well. Would like try out other dishes too.
Went there to have dinner, ordered chicken broasted and chicken shawarma. Both arrived pretty fast and they were tasty. The garlic mayo used is so good. Highly recommending this place.

Authentic Arabic cuisine is what you order at this place. We ordered the all time favorite mixed grill and as expected it was one sumptuous and heavy meal🥘 ... Starting from the hummus to the sulaimani, everything was perfect. The freshly prepared hot fluffy breads dipped in the hummus tastes so good😃 Overall, a good experience but a bit heavy on the wallet ranging about 140-150 Dhs for two individuals.
It’s been over 10 years I’ve been ordering food from here. We had ordered mix grill, grilled chicken marinated in lemon and kunafa. The meat was so flavourful and mouthwatering something where meat lovers look for, Kunafa was delicious too. Moreover, is the service very quick and spontaneous. If you dine in then they would provide you with lentil soup as a complimentary and at the end of the meal they serve complimentary tea which will help to digest all that meat you’ve eaten.
Love both the shawarma plates, Baba Ganoush, Salads, Hummus and the never ending fresh Pita bread!

This is a Syrian restaurant named after Syria(Shaam in Persian) opened in 1978. The restaurant is beautiful with beautiful chandeliers and old Syrian pictures on the wall.
Ordered apple juice, falafel sandwich, chicken shawarma, hummus with mutton, Al shami mixed grill, cheese cake.
The mixed grill platter was the star of the dinner. The flavours were perfect. It was served along with pita bread. Cheese cake on the other hand was not upto the mark. But nevertheless the mixed grill platter won our hearts. The ambience and service was also good.

When my wife was new in town, this is where i took her first to try out muttabal and baba ghanoush and she really liked it. They serve fresh bread.

We dined at Al Shaami for dinner. This place was buzzing and quite crowded for a weekday.
We ordered the Al-Shami Mixed Grills, Hummus, Baba Ghanouj and Halloum Cheese Sandwich.
The Al-Shami Mixed Grills was massive and was loaded with pita bread, Tikka Chicken, Chicken Wings, Kabab, and Lamb Chops.
The food and service was excellent and the portions were quite huge.
Stopped after work for a quick lunch. Ordered stuffed vine leaves & stuffed baby marrow, 4 small meat, cheese, and spinach Fatayer, Taboule and hummus.
Everything tasted good specially the spinach Fatayer it was unbelievably soft. It was only the hummus and the taboule that I wasn’t fan of. But overall place is good and staff are friendly
I would recommend getting their Boneless Grilled chicken and chicken shawarma platter while finishing off with Kunafah. Some of the staff are friendly while the others need to smile more.
This is the place I think of when I’m not in Dubai and crave shawarma. One chicken shawarma and two falafels with some tahini sauce make for quite a happy meal for me. Al Shami is no fancy restaurant, but neat and spacious with indoor and outdoor dining. We usually take away from here, so the picture below is one of my plate, half-way through my sandwich. As the prices of shawarma have soared and/or size has declined at most places across the UAE (from AED 2 per sizeable shawarma about 20 years ago to plus or minus of AED 6 per smaller shawarma today), this place has maintained a consistent level of quality since we first bought food from there. Which was not too long ago, to be honest, but consistency over about seven years in this “trade”, if I may call it so, is considerably noteworthy of mention.
Have breakfast with friends. Place is extremely clean, staff is formerly and opens 24/4. We ordered falafel, manakesh, hummus. Hopefully next time I’ll try to have a more variety
A place for authentic labnese food. Great service and seating and great value for money. Mixed grill platters, shawarmaz are amazing . Not to forget the lamb chops are a must have. They hv recently introduced some great desserts that are worth a try.

This is a lovely Lebanese restaurant that serve authentic Lebanese food and kebabs.
Ambience was really good, staff were very welcoming even at 2.30 am.
We tried recommended dishes like shawarma, pita bread with hummus and garlic mayo, they were good.
The Best part about this place that is is open 24/7 you can always keep this place at the back of of your head when you crave mid night snacks and don't know where to go.

If you're in the mood for fresh, authentic, and tasty middle eastern food this is the place to go. The staff was very attentive and the food was fantastic. The starters we ordered were their smooth hummus and fattoush (a green salad with fried Lebanese crushed bread). We also ordered the chicken shawarma, which comes with hummus, and salad. The portion was massive and incredibly tasty. I would highly recommend Al Shami both for food and atmosphere.
High recommended for fatayer manakeesh zaatar muhammarah and cheese, and the best safeeha lahm be ageen in dubai , also best fatteh be zait and bi samne and all the Syrian original food is great their
Everything we ordered was superb! The grilled Kibbeh was great and the pomegranate inside gave it a nice sweetness! The vine leaves were lovely and perfectly salted.. the falafel were in shapes of hearts and tasted great :) the Baba ghanouj and humus were to die for and the fattoush was finished by my wife before I could even try it so it must have been lovely! The mixed grills were also very nice but I thought there were a lot of chicken wings and I would have preferred shish tawook instead. Greatly recommended and will be visiting soon!

This review is based on inputs from myself as well as fellow foodies who have accompanied me to this restaurant.
ALL RATING ARE IN THE SCALE OF 5. A rating of 5 mean Excellent while 1 is Poor.
FOOD: RATING 4 OUT OF 5.
Item 1 – Appetisers – Hummus with Meat:
Hummus is a very staple dish of any Arabic Cuisine and hence the flavour profile tends to vary from each Cuisine. I always believed the Syrians and the Lebanese made the hummus because of their skill in ensuring the right mix of Tahini and Chickpeas.
Al Shami hits this mix to perfection and top it off with the meat, it is just brilliant.
Mind you there is 2 variants for this dish. I opted the normal Hummus with Meat. The other variant is Hummus with Meat Cubes.
Item 2 – Appetisers – Hummus: The regular hummus with a drizzle of olive oil. The Taste still lingers!!
Item 3 – Appetisers – Falafel
Once there was Lebanese
He made Falafel with ease
Served it with a great pride
With a Tahini dip on the side
Al Shami knew the Lebanese & the Falafel
I ordered a few for a thrill
Oh! It was indeed a treat
For it is destined to be a great
Item 4 – Main Item – Shish Tawook
Shish! It was not what I expected. The chicken pieces were a little dry and bland. The hummus saved the Tawook.
Item 5 – Main Item – Half Grilled Chicken (charcoal):
He who fails to order a grilled item from an Arabic Restaurant is worthy of being called a loser.
That being said, I am easy bait for grilled items.
One look at the Menu and you wonder “why the hell do they have only Half Grilled Chicken?”
The answer to that lay on the plate of half grilled chicken served on my table. Me, my wife and my son had a pretty decent meal with it.
I presume the word “half” here meant HALF a tray and not Half a chicken!
The chicken “charcoaled” to perfection and served with some French fries & a slice of bread that has one heck of a sauce spread on it. Tangy, spicy and creamy!
My advice is that you take piece of bread and rub the sauce on to the chicken and then much away the bread without feeling guilty of not having enough sauce for the chicken!
Item 6 – Main Item – Arayes
The Syrians make the best Arayes but then Al Shami just rewrote my taste bud preferences with their version of the Arayes.
Hands down, this was the star of the show! A brilliant pastry of meat filling that just kept me wanting for more.
The best part of the Arayes was that the meat was not overcooked. It had a good succulent kebab feel to it.
Item 7– Main Item – Plate of Chicken Shawarma:
Shawarma – My Wife’s Opinion - Always good as a Wrap or a Sandwich.
Shawarma – My Opinion – Just Serve the meat well. The bread and fries can wait.
Shawarma – Our joint Opinion – “Museem! Order the Sandwich!”

It was a very risky affair trying to order a plate shawarma knowing that your better-half has already geared up with enough ammunition of criticism to blow you huge appetite away.
Al Shami seemed to know my predicament and dished out a plate worthy of my better half’s accolades.
The meat was moist and fresh of the “shawarma tower”. The sauce was something very different, not very garlicy nor very “tahiniy”
Being a self-confessed “plate shawarma expert” the plate was not the greatest of them all for me but it was surely one among the best.
Item 8– Desserts:
We had to skip the desserts because we were too full. But the Kunafe served at the other tables looked wow!
Item 9 – Ayran: Do not miss this drink. We got to know about it when were about to exit the restaurant after a hearty meal. There was a drinks machine that was churning some white juice in it. Upon enquiry, the staff explained it was a yoghurt drink and he gave a sample cup.
SMACK! It was good!
SERVICE – 4 OUT OF 5
Arabic is the preferred Modus of Operandi but the menu is Bi-lingual so all you have to do is point to the menu item and mention your serving size.
The waiters were really friendly and well mannered.

It is in Muraqabbat. Right in the centre of the hustle & bustle.
Easy to find.
The parking can be a pain during peak hours, hence the rating drop a little bit.
PRICING: 5 means cheapest while 1 means expensive.
I RATE THIS PLACE 3.5 (Good for the Wallet)
For the serving size and quality of the food that is served, I must say the price is worth it.
A meal for 4 Adults and 1 Teenager came to 180 AED ( all the above listed menu items were ordered)
The Hummus price varies on the serving size.
The plate shawarma & Charcoal chicken is a bargain!
AMBIANCE: 3.5 OUT 5
It is a huge place that is serving almost at full capacity most of the time. The noise levels can be a little high at times but the food makes up for it.
I must say though, if you are planning a fun banter of family or friends gathering over a good meal of Arabic dishes, then this is the place.
DECOR AND SEATING CAPACITY – 4 OUT 5
The décor is the standard Arabic restaurant theme but not that gaudy and “elaborate”
The seating capacity is huge and can cater to large groups as well.
OVERALL RATING: 4 OUT OF 5.

This Restaurant does justice to the taste buds of an Arabic food lover.
If one feels that there is an utmost need to have a good serving of Arabic Food with a light wallet, then this is the place to be.
For me, Al Shami has become one of them must visit places Arabic Places when you have guests in town!

Shami happened to be one of the restaurants we tried this Ramadan during suhoor. It is open 24 hours, 365 days a year and serve amazing Arabic cuisine. We have visited this location multiple times so I can say off the bat that it's a great place for Arabic food especially late night/ early morning. We always have to have their half chicken grill which is served with unlimited complimentary khubus or bread (some of the best I've had in these type of restaurants). We also tried their shawarma plate and mandi. All food here is fresh tasting and authentic. The staff is always ready with a basket of bread for whenever you may run out. Overall, this is a great restaurant in the area and is the same (I must say, sometimes even better) than popular restaurants serving similar cuisine like Aroos Damascus.
I was craving for mixed grill and was thinking between Aroos, Al Safadi and Al Shami. We tried Al Shami since the mixed grill is much cheaper here. We ordered and the staff who got our order thru the phone was very pleasant. He explained that an order of mixed grill with lamb chop will cost us AED 50. I requested to give us complimentary pita bread and they delivered to us on time and we truly enjoyed munching on the flavorful mixed meat grill. I recommend you try Al Shami restaurant's mixed grill.
Great food, brilliant service. Best falafels I've had in a while. Also recommend the mix grill.
Best sit outside as it can get noisy inside.
I love shamis plate shawarma,my favourite with hammus.l likebto dine their with my hubby.I can suggest chicken charcoal also those who like charcoal.its yummy and affordable.

الطلبات حسب صوره الفاتوره 203 درهم في مثل هذه الطلبات بالسعوديه تكون في حدود 130 ريال ،
