By far the best seafood in Dubai. You get the best food. The best view. The best ambiance. You can have a drink or smoke your shisha too in the outdoor area. Or go for a swim and enjoy your meal after. It's owned by fisherman. Daily fresh catches. Just yummy perfection.

Easy parking, great beachside location on the palm and the food is generally very good. Fresh fish and rather large portions. Service could be a bit sharper and more professional but overall thoroughly recommend this place.

Diner du reveillon. Très bonne ambiance, bon accueil, serveurs efficaces et rapides. Entrées chaudes et froides de mezzes (un peu trop de pommes de terre, j'attendais plus d'originalité sur les entrées chaudes), plat principal de poissons grillés, hamour, lobsters, crevettes géantes, et petits poissons frais accomodés de différentes sauces. Poissons excellents. et grande décéption sur les desserts une glace avec une sorte de barbe à papa et sablés (industriel) avec une verrine de confiture et l'autre de la melasse. Franchement j'aurai préféré des fruits ou simplement des crèmes caramel toutes simples

Would not recommend this place at all. I sat down and ordered shisha and they said this is a non smoking area, but the table next to me were smoking so I asked the waiter why are they allowed, he said because they are here from afternoon and they ordered shisha at that time, now you cannot order. Terrible service! We reached there at 11:20pm and the waiters looked upset that we came because they wanted to close early and kept telling us that last order was at 11:30 even though we kept telling them again and again that it was still 11:20pm and we didn't want food, just a drink. They were very rude! <br/>The restaurant really needs to work on it's costumer service if it actually wants customers!

One of the best seafood fish places in Dubai ; nice outdoor seating.

We went for the mussels night (mussels fries and 2 beers offer) which starts at 7pm and we got there at 7:50pm and apparently all the mussels had gone. They didn’t explain why, they just shoved menus in our faces and said order something else We then asked for mussels off the menu and they said yes?! <br/><br/>They just didn’t deal with the situation correctly and it was really disappointing.

We had yesterday dinner at this restaurant, where we hoped to get good lobsters from the grill.They were "burned" in a way that we had problems to seperate them from the shell, being completely dry, tough and hardly to be cut. This was a negative experience, absolutely not worth the money

We go there twice every month and we definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice fresh fish/seafood and comfortable relaxed place for all day lunch and dinner.

What an awesome find, a Lebanese seafood restaurant in the heart of The Palm! I'm Lebanese and I found the food, ambiance and welcoming service to be truly authentic. Make sure to order the most popular mezza, including tabboule, fattouch, hommos, batata harra and tajin. Also try their specialty which is a grilled fish marinated in special secret herbs that render the taste juicy and unique! Side note, I love the decor!

One of the best-fried fish and Lebanese mezza  in Dubai. The menu has a great selection of fish and I liked the small fried bait, besides their grilled options. It was fresh! The staff was kind and very accommodating.

Gorgeous seafood restaurant with a beautiful view. We had the fisherman table and we were eating on the beach. The food was excellent, we had the best lobster, different kind of fishes, calamari, mussels, starters, and the fried potatoes were so delicious. Fantastic service! We were there on a busy Thursday night when almost all the tables were full, yet the servers were super attentive to your needs and extremely quick in responding.Food, drinks and sheesha would come within a minute of the order and we were just amazed at how good they were! We requested a couple things off the menu and our server, grace, checked and got it for us with no fuss, super quickly again. The food was super good but the service was beyond amazing, and it wasn't just one specific person but the whole restaurant. Absolute must visit!

We come very regularly for our Friday or Saturday lunches and I never wrote a review, though this restaurant deserves a five star rating. Every single time we face exceptional service and the food quality is continuously good. The staff is very accommodating, fast and always there without being too imposing, the fish is always so fresh and tasty, but so are the other dishes. The view of the beach, a table full of exceptional mezzes and grilled fish along with the company of my friends made this one of the best experience you can have in Dubai. Our waiter Socrat was taking very good care of us. Look at this beautiful spread a mix between Cold and Hot Bait (mezze). Tabboule, Kebbet Samak, Grilled Squid Provencal, Fried Calamri, Local Clams with Black Pepper Seasonings, Cheese Rakakat, Mohammara with Hummus, Fish Tajen, Hummus with Pine Nuts and Raheb.

The disappointment started with the fact that they weren't serving shisha. The outdoor seating is food especially in winters straight on the beach - however the tables are super cramped up. Veg options (anybody's guess) are limited and the batata hara I was served was very tangy and infact smelled of fish

Been here several times- excellent location and food is always fabulous. Service is also usually great but today we were very let down by Juvie Rose (Filipinos server) working during Saturday lunch, who was rude and showed us attitude but others like Ala were extremely helpful and made our experience delightful. We’ll be back thanks to the great food (and hopefully better service)!

They should work on their waiters' knowledge of the menu items. Overall the food is good, but the service is slow. Be careful as they will try to serve you items that you never ordered, and then charge you for it. Happened twice to us already!!

Such a chilled romantic place in The Palm! We sat by the beach. The food was good! I ordered a grilled Lobster with Lemon Butter sauce YUM👅. The Stuffed Vine Leaves were sour and perfect. Fries were good too. The Lemonade tasted super fresh and delicious.

Ibn Al Bahr’s location and setting are really nice. However I find the food average, and to an extent lacking flavor. The starters were average and the grilled fish was slightly overcooked and thus it was dry.

Probably the best seafood place I tried in Dubai. We sat outside and due to the cold weather they offered me unlimited blankets! The shrimps with Provençal was exquisite and the ambience is incredible. Wonderful place.

I was in the mood for some seafood. So went for dinner with a good friend who was in town for short stay. Sat outside and the weather was great. For starters we had fish tajin, amazing fried calamari ( so fresh and done just right), amazing but simple clams with S&P and Batata hara ( different from any other and again amazing). <br/>For mains we walked into the restaurant and chose our seafood (with the help of a friendly gentlemen who made good recommendations). Had prawns grilled with Provençal sauce and prawns tandoori. Preferred the former. And then the hammour butterflied deboned spice rubbed and grilled. It was fresh, done right and tasty. <br/>Next time bigger crowd to order more variety and be able to sample more. but surely a next time.<br/>Smallest gripe was having to call out for refills, requests or the check.

The food was certainly adequate and sometimes there are times when servers are not wonderful but unfortunately they were so unpleasant to a group of happy friendly people.

Such a good choice to visit this place on a Thursday evening to prep for the weekend! With a beautiful outdoor seating and dim lighting, a good view of the shore, it makes a good place to chill with friends. The staff were very accommodating and suggested us to try out their fresh fish counter.<br/><br/>We chose to have Lobster Grill with cheese, Tandoori prawns, Special Ibn Prawns, and Hamour Grill. Loved it all but more towards the Lobster and Tandoori Prawns. Their vast options of fish, caught on the same day is amazing.<br/><br/>Hummus Beiruti was also ordered to have with Arabic bread served alongside. For drinks, we had Freshly made iced tea and watermelon juice.<br/><br/>I never like mixing seafood with milk products so had Baklava (without ice cream) and fresh watermelon. Very refreshing but the baklava was delicious.<br/><br/>Their shishas lasted decently long between the change in coal. We tried Double Apple and a Grape Mint shisha. Loved the flavour.

This is by far my fav seafood restaurant in Dubai. Great ambience, so positive. The food is superb. The dressings spices and flavors are great. Love their crab and white prawns. Especially butter garlic (spicy) dressing. Yum. I also love the Sultan İbrahim and Sea Bass. I have to visit at least bi weekly. It's so good and yes it's not cheap but being in an expensive location and such high quality of food, I think it's well worth it. The staff are also so lovely. The manager is also always around asking if all is good. Highly recommended.

Visited on my birthday — wifey had made an advance reservation (and informed them that our doggie would be joining us for dinner). We were well received by Marina and since the weather was pleasant so we took an outside table with a view of the palm. Friday August 3rd <br/>The restaurant was not packed <br/>Dishes we ordered:<br/>Grilled Shrimps , Tajin Samak , Mtabbal Batinjan, Grilled Hammour , Fried Sardines , Mohammara with Hummus , and Fattoush<br/><br/>Food was very tasty and fresh<br/><br/>Fattoush and Sardines were a bit late and the restaurant itself wasn’t understaffed but staff were a bit busy discussing stuff . The manager himself (he was very helpful) rushed to us and apologized for not being able to accommodate a request for one kind of fish but and explained it’s out of stuck and they’re receiving a fresh batch in an hour .<br/><br/>Prices are moderate for dishes but high considering the Hamour fish was around 3 kg ( 500 dhs+)<br/>The ice cream that comes with a dessert called ‘Arabic Bouza’ was not as good as it can be <br/><br/><br/>The restaurant food is definitely worth trying and we will visit it again

Beautiful place! Amazing food! Prices bit expensive but worth it and definitely in one of the nicest location in Dubai. 5 stars well deserved!

Lovely Ambience Good Food and Good Service. Actually its the location n ambience that makes this place (or most of the restaurants in Club Vista Mare special). Ordered fresh fish of 3 kgs for a group of 5 and 1 kg of garlic buttered prawns. Fish was good but the prawns were even better. Would go again for the prawns!!

If you are looking for a great fresh seafood with amazing ambiance and view Look no more you are in the right place , I can honestly say it’s one of the best places to have seafood with an Arabic touch to it . VERDICT: WHITE ⚪️ Try<br/>Simple, nice and unpretentious venue for a fish/Arabic meal.<br/>We ordered half a dozen of appetizers/entrées, a 1.5 Kgs grilled Red Snapper and 8 pieces of fried lady fish.<br/>Cost (AED 650 for a party of 4) was a good match for quality, quantity and the friendly service.<br/>There isn’t much creativity on the menu- again it’s a simple, nice and unpretentious place - sometimes this is all what one needs for a chilled laid back meal.<br/>The outdoor seating makes for a lovely evening during winter months.

This is a great place for Seafood, alcohol and Shisha. Starting from the service, to the food selection, food quality and freshness, food prices and atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was our first, but will not be our last. So for us, it’s First and Forever (F&F)

Its a lovely place by the Palm Jumeirah Shoreline. The ambience is great. With Zomato Gold, the drinks 2+2 offer is pretty good for the drinks. However the value for food isn’t that great. We had sayadiye, fish kebab and hot potato. The kebabs were good but we felt that the sayadiye wasn’t worth the money we paid. The fish pieces on it was bland. <br/>The waiter who attended to us was a slim Goan fella. He was very polite and helpful with the right choice of food and drinks for us. Overall a great place to chill on a weekend in Dubai.

Nice location, good seafood, food, good service. Went there just before the start of summer on a Thursday night without a reservation... they managed to squeeze us in 4 adults and a baby very quickly..... the food was so fresh and tasty. We order a big fish, king prawns, squid and rice..... all was very tasty..... price well not cheap at just over aed200 per person but we will be coming back.

Great seafood place in Vista Mare. Went a couple of times and was always pleased by the overall experience. Food is excellent.. waiter named Dan or Don very bad and rude. We had the local clams and spicy potato for appetizer and fish kebab for main, both were very tasty

We went there during the week and had a great experience. Fresh seafood and super service!<br/>Staff is very attentive, food came really fast, we didn't have reservation but the hostess gave us a very nice table by the beach.<br/>We ordered some starters which were amazing, as main course I had grilled fish and it was very tasty.<br/><br/>The manager came to check if everything was fine, he was very polite and helpful as my friend had so many questions about the food.<br/><br/>I loved the wall with all those awards, I was so impressed!!!

Went there on a Friday afternoon with family. The weather was nice to sit on the terrace which was almost full.<br/>The warm welcome from the hostess was excellent, so friendly and professional. We were asked to wait sometime inside until they find a table for us. It did not take much until we were seated on a table beside the beach view.<br/>The waitress gave us a small piece of papers with a number on it and asked us to chose our fishes from the display inside the shop.<br/>The chef is the one who is supporting and explaining on the display. My wife if pregnant and thus his recommendations came due to his knowledge of what kinds she can have among the displayed items. Luckily we have google, so we searched and find out that he recommended the right items... Thanks Chef.<br/>The kitchen is an open space where you can see how the others chefs are cooking your fish.<br/>You can have it fried, baked and grilled; we went for grilled as per chef recommendations.<br/>All fishes are without a doubt fresh.<br/>And then the food came.<br/>Mutabal and fattouch for starters. Mutabal are great, however fattouch can be better.<br/>The fishes are supper amazing, cooked to perfection with soft texture and excellent seasoning.<br/>I will be honest to say I did not expect this quality, however they exceeded my expectations.<br/>Service team are amazing and friendly, although you don't need them much when you start eating because they will make sure whatever you need is on the table, however they are always around in case.<br/>The manager surprisingly was on duty although his hand seemed to be broken and covered with gypsum, but was there to ensure that all are perfect. A lovely young man with a professional approach and  great sense of humor. He is genuine about the service and seemed to care much about his customers experience.<br/>At the end, they gave us a pot of water a lemon so we can wash out hands from the sticky fishes and offered us some fruits.<br/>All in all this place is where you want to go every time you crave fresh seafood :-)

<br/><br/><br/>Update:<br/><br/>Due to our first experience we went back to the restaurant with friends from Europe living by the sea.<br/>This time we ordered after the starters that were great again fish in salt. Unfortunately, the fish was a desaster, overcooked and chewy and inedible. The manager explained that all their fish arrives like that since they use a automatic cooking procedure - seriously?!? This happening in a fish speciality restaurant was already - surprising. He basically suggested that we had no clue and did not even offer from his side to remove or exchange it. Only after complaining to the next manager, they offered to bring something else. They choose for us king fish fillet - just another catastrophe- outside the fish was looking nice but inside it was frozen!!<br/>We did explain this to the manager who shrugged his shoulders and could not care less. <br/>Of course they fully charged us for the first inedible fish - so much to customer service to returning clients! After another complaint they agreed to charge ONLY the king fish returned as well that was frozen inside as it was slightly cheaper.<br/>What a terrible experience!<br/>It can happen that something goes wrong, even twice but it is the restaurant managers duty to give the guests a good experience and if something is visibly not ok it has to be fixed.<br/>To serve such inedible quality as a "fish specialist" is already questionable but to insist semi-frozen fish is good and even fully charge for it just a slap in a client's face!<br/>Even if the location and service was good, after this experience we will rather try another Vista Mare Outlet next time.<br/><br/><br/><br/>First Visit:<br/>Great dinner by the sea.<br/>Extremely friendly management and staff, great welcome and good bye.<br/>Waitress was doing a great job, food arrived fast, hot, fresh and tasty.<br/>We had an excellent evening and will be back very soon!<br/>

Located in beautiful Club Vista Mare, Ibn Al Bahar has a prime seaview location and excellent food.<br/><br/>The fish is fresh and you get to choose which fish you want, the cooking method as well as the marinade. We went with the hamour grilled and marinated with garlic lemon and oil sauce... it was beyond exquisite.<br/><br/>The restaurant offers Shisha & alcohol that suit every tastebud. What a fantastic experience. Seaside with delicious fresh seafood and superb service. Our guess is that this is a father/son run establishment so it felt extra special because of that. Looking forward to being back.

the place is amazing nice see view food is super good and tasty but one thing was so weird about the service when you ask a waiter for anything you feel like you buzzer him and he give you a grumpy face and they never smile

The outdoor seating is nice facing the beach. But since the temperature was 35, we had to sit inside. The food was good: we ordered Tabboule, Fattoush, Tajen... Grilled shrimps were Yummyyy, ordered them provencal. As for the fish, we ordered a selection of Sultan Ibrahim, Mallifa... well I’d say not bad. Might visit again the restaurant if I was in the area. Waiters are super friendly!

My favorite place to have sea food and even better is the atmosphere and ambience of the place ... must try the shrimps with provenciel sauce is unreal , the red snapper butterfly with signature spices ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and the sardines wow !!!! I’m already craving when will be the next time I visit

The service was slow and not responsive. We requested the fish to be prepared in certain way due to allergies, which the staff didn’t accommodate and ruined our experience.

Best Place for dinner we found in Dubai. Visited twice during our stay. Fish is fresh and delicious. Everybody is very friendly. Shisha is very good. Price is ok for nice place and view and great food.

We visited this waterfront restaurant on a Tuesday evening in February, and were fortunate to catch a live jazz performance (this was a February special, so please check for next availability). Given the beautiful weather, we, like almost everyone else, preferred sitting outdoors, and were greeted with sweeping views of the Dubai Marina skyline.<br/><br/>Like several other Arabic seafood restaurants, Ibn Al Bahar's concept is that of fresh preparation of your preferred catch. We were quite hungry by the time we had reached, and hence ordered several starters while our mains were under preparation.<br/><br/>Our starters included the usuals - fried calamari, cocktail shrimps, and a seafood bisque soup to share. The soup was rich and full of flavor, with lots of prawn and squid in it.<br/><br/>For the mains we had to head indoors, and next to the kitchen the fresh catch were displayed on ice. I am a shellfish person, so we picked a mid-size lobster, and a couple of tiger prawns. The chef recommended that the lobster be smothered with the decadent pepper cream sauce, while the prawns could be grilled in their special Ibn Al Bahr cashew nut marination. The end result - the lobster tasted terrific and the prawns were melt-in-the-mouth tender, and could be best described as similar to Indian "malai boti". <br/><br/>The chef also recommended getting a grilled Kofer fish, with the Provencal sauce. The fish was a bit too bony for me, but the meat was firm and had soaked in the sauce quite well. Worth noting that the preparation time could range between 15-20 minutes. <br/><br/>We topped it all off with 2 decadent desserts - baklava, which is an Arabic puff pastry with nuts and drenched in sugar syrup, and bousa, which could be best described as dense Arabic ice cream roll with pistachios, served with cotton candy. The baklava itself was served with a side of the dense ice cream. Greatly enjoyed both, but by the end of it all, was almost bursting to my seams.<br/><br/>Service throughout was quite attentive and fast. Really loved the ambience and food, so definitely visiting again.

The first time I came here was for an invite shortly after the place had opened. Service was sketchy but food was good, so I was willing to give it another chance. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and service is one of the best in town and the food is just delicious. I don’t like seafood to be cooked in heavy sauces and this place hits all the right spots as it lets you order your seafood just the way you like it.

Location is beautiful with a very pleasant view of the sea located on the Palm Jumeirah. Highly recommended. They serve fresh fish and they cook it as per your taste. Their Lebanese side dishes are excellent.
