I would have give it a 5, but! We eat out regularly here and our number one complaint is the dynamite sauce. They give us this super runny sauce that's more like water and is quite frankly disgusting. We still return there cuz the food is actually 5 start worthy. I'm giving it 3 stars because yesterday we ordered in and they gave the cheap watery sauce and charged 5AED for it (2 pieces so that's 10) and we had to just throw it out. I don't know why they would cheap out on the sauce like this because it really kills the experience that one would get from their otherwise excellent food.

Absolutely delicious and flavorful Japanese food! We went there on a Friday night yet instantly found a table. We ordered Ebi Dynamite, Teriyaki Chicken Pineapple salad, The Green Dragon and iced tea. I have to admit that each and every dish was outstandingly delicious. Staff was very friendly as well.

One of my fav places to dine at. Yakitate has always been consistent with their food quality and taste. Decently prized with a good variety of dishes. I have to order my fav sushi burger at every visit (Salmon Avocado). It looks beautiful and is extremely satisfying in terms of taste. The Beef Mince Matcha Rice Croquettes were super crunchy and I enjoyed them. Although, it is a little dry but they provide two types of dips to take care of that besides that, I loved it it! The ramens are good too. Their cold beverages shouldn’t be missed. I have tried few juices, milkshakes or cold coffees. Each and everyone was better than the previous. It’d be nice if they offered gold or entertainer as most restaurants offer them. Nevertheless, I really look forward to them opening more branches preferably closer to me so I may visit more often 😇

I’ve ordered from here before. This time I ordered 4 milk teas. 1 Hokkaido, 2 Classic and 1 Chocolate milk tea. I specifically asked for them to not add a lot of ice. Whilst they followed this, the Classic and Chocolate milk tea both tasted heavily diluted with water. Absolutely could not enjoy it. It wasn’t like this before so this is rather disappointing. My husband happened to discover this Japanese bakery in Old Dubai, and it is heaven. I've visited this place many times since, and have tried quite a few things and loved them all. We have tried the following: *Chicken Yakitori - Pieces of grilled chicken thighs on skewers served with teriyaki sauce. A great choice for starters.. *Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen Burger - Tried the Ramen burger for the first time. Ramen noodle pancakes are used in place of a bun. It was nice and something different, albeit a little messy to eat. It's something you should surely try once, even if ramen noodles are not your thing. For drinks, we have tried the Sangria Tea, Taro and the Espresso. The first two are refreshing, but the Espresso is just amazing. It's frozen espresso cubes, served with an espresso shot, condensed milk and fresh milk on the side. When mixed together they just taste divine. The taste of the coffee gets stronger with time as the cubes melt. My first visit here was for dinner, but the many trips after were just for their Kiri Cheese Bun. This is my absolute fav here. The baked cheesecake is what the bakery is famous for. Order it with salted caramel on the side and you wont regret it. The cake is light and fluffy and you just cant have enough. They also serve a large selection of other confectionery and baked goods ranging from pastries to freshly baked breads. The prices are reasonable and the staff always welcome you with a smile.

So this was my first experience with Japanese cuisine and I was impressed by the presentation of my food. The food is really very bright and colorful and attracts you. Not just the presentation the food is delicious too. I went there on a saturday evening with a friend and We had an amazing experience. This is a restaurant I had been wanting to try out for a while but never got around to actually visiting. I ordered their steam vegetables, unagi maki and a customized vegetarian version of their miso ramen. They were kind enough to accept my request despite a considerable crowd. The ramen arrived steaming hot and the broth was a mix of complementing flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they had made a customized ramen taste. The steamed vegetables were cooked well and had just the right amount of bite to it. The sushi was delicious and I have come across very few places which serve good rice sushis. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to people looking for quick Asian eats.

Yakitate in Al Ghurair Centre is a real feast for the eyes! Starting from their presentation of food, their quaint setup, their color motif all the way to the uniforms of the staff. I can't help but admire this cute restaurant. Taste-wise, Yakitate doesn't disappoint, their sushi inventions are very interesting. They taste yummy but the problem is sushis are meant to be eaten in one bite and u can't do that with their sushi donuts or sushi burgers. Presentation is 100% but then once it reaches your table, you are left wondering with "how am i going to eat this thing!?" without making a complete mess... and yes it ends up in a mess because obviously you cannot hold sushi donuts and burgers in you hand, they would crumble. Like I said the flavour was there it's just that sometimes it's better to leave things the traditional way.. Their desserts though..... hmmmm... I cannot fault it!! It is something we keep going back for even when we dine at other restaurants when we are in Dubai, we would always consider Yakitate for our desserts!! I cannot go into details with each and every desserts we've tried there because my review would go on and on but please do try it especially the Hokkaido tart!! I was craving for some Japanese fluffy cheesecake and came across two places in Dubai which serve those. This being a closer options we went here. We had the cheesecake with passion fruit iced tea. The cheesecake didn't jiggle to our dismay. However, first bite into it and we realized it was our of the world! It was nothing like what I'd had before. I have had baked cheesecake but this is very very mild sweetness, not sure if it would even come in dessert category at all! It tasted like bread blended with cheese and light sweetness. The cake was perfect textured. I fell in love. I'm not a fan of iced teas but my friend wanted to have one. It was decent. The place was totally worth the money with cafe like prices for drinks and desserts. Recommended.

This is the second time i came here and it seems like their options are becoming less and less for their shakes. Their best sellers are always not available. But we did try the mango+strawberry and it was fantastic. Avocado was so-so for me. External seating is much comfy than the inside. A little space between tables would be nice.I literally can reach out without effort and steal the food from the adjacent table. 😅 But if we are talking about pastries, their wide options and unique designs that match with occassion is quite attractive to the kid in me.

I have been there with my wife for the breakfast and my wife enjoyed it a lot. Japanese oriented boutique-type bake house and cafe. Food taste yummy and the presentation also in a good level. Coffee was too strong for me but in the end it informing them in advance about your preference can solve it easily. Overall good place to hop in. Only issue is if you seated by the glass windows, most passby folks will watch u through your entire meal.

I made an order over the phone on Thursday evening, it was quick and staff were very responsive over WhatsApp. I really appreciate how much time they spent with me to clarify my orders and they were too patient as well as I kept changing my mind with my orders. Their phone lines also are always being picked up on time without waiting too long to be attended. My order actually came little late than the expected and requested time. I was so disappointed when I saw my order coz it was totally upside down and such a mess. Although, I can understand as I don’t know what the delivery driver has went through just to deliver it to me. I was so disappointed as I was also rushing to home. Fortunately, they’re so willing to replace my order and send it to my home. They asked me to send location through WhatsApp and surprisingly after 5 minutes of reaching into my place, the delivery boy called again and told he’s already outside our flat’s door. I was really amazed on how fast they’ve taken the action. They’re very apologetic as well and understanding. I just hope that the management didn’t ask Sohaib to pay for the returned items as we really don’t know what happened along the way. I’d love to commend these staff who have been so patient, understanding and apologetic: MELINDA, CHA and DONA. I hope they’ll be recognized. And to SOHAIB also who was like a Superman to deliver my replaced orders in less than 10 minutes. Great job Yakitate. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Has separated smoking and non smoking areas which is nice, lots of freshly baked goodies and the menu is very extensive with loads of options. We only had edamame and ssshi when we visited - it. was prepared quite fast and the portions were decent sized as well. Ice teas were awesome. Am definitely coming again!

All desserts have less sugar content make it appealing for health concious people. Update on Feb 2019 Been there again, tried chicken yakitori, ebi fry, sea food miso ramen, cheese cake and some confectionery items. They still keep the reputation in terms of quality and service.

Where should I begin? First of all , in my opinion, the Japanese souffle cheesecake is the highlight of this cafe; one of the best cheesecakes I had (besides the cheesecakes that I had during my days in Japan). Besides, the bakes in this place are too pretty to be eaten. Also, their settings are Instagram worthy, and breath-taking in a cute manner. We were amazed by their creative menu, especially their mind blowing coffee served in syphon. Last but not least, they have the best customer service! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this place!

We ordered the lunch sets, they were delicious, filling and worth the money. You get a drink free with your order along with sides (depending on what you order). We also ordered their cheesecake, which was as good as expected, the cheesecake tasted a bit sour, but I was really impressed by their selection of baked goods, really adorable and delicious looking. The ambience is lovely, outdoor seating especially during the good weather is a must do. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

A casual Japanese dining restaurant located at Al Ghurair mall. It’s not that spacious and you can feel that when you are talking to your friend the other table can here you also. I ordered chicken teriyaki rice burger with steamed vegetable on the side. And I must say it exceed my expectation. I love the combination of the teriyaki sauce and the chicken is tender. The signature ice cube tea is a instagramable drinks that amaze me when they serve it. I love the presentation and the taste are awesome. I ordered also the classic milk tea and as a milk tea lover, I approve the taste of it. And craving for more after drinking it.

A good hangout bakery located in Al Rigga, the interiors are cute with a Japanese touch. The display of goodies are good, but can be more inviting... we ordered the signature cheesecake soufflé and a few other desserts. It’s a nice place but since there are other Japanese bakeries, I feel they should ‘up’ their game a bit more.. overall I would recommend this place to go with friends to chill. Their menu has a variety of dishes and good service by staff too👍

I am a big fan of the japanese soufflé cheesecake at yakitate. Its light, fluffy , cheesy and not eggy at all like other cheesecakes . I always go for matcha cappuccino with the cheesecake (and i get a wasabi stick to go by) what a taste! The gyozos are fine ,not that great but the ramen burger is a try worthy dish. being an edamame fan i always order it as i feel its a perfect starter to the meal.

A precious japanese botique bakery with a variety of freshly baked too cute to eat snacks😍 We ordered a Hello Kitty bun filled with white chocolate custurd and fresh raspberry(10 Dhs) which I did not like, a Makkuro Kurosuke bun filled with chocolate custurd (10 Dhs) whixh is delicious and a perfectly smooth mocha with the cutest teddy bear art (16 Dhs). Definitely worth the price point with excellent service and a lovely spread .

This restaurant is one of my favourite place to dine in and relax with my friends. All the food was great and tasty as we have been here a lot of times. We had a tea once and the good thing is that you don’t need to buy another one just asked the staff to add hot water on it and you’re good! Please do try the ramen burger, chicken teriyaki rice burger, chicken yakitori, bread and pastries, mochi and cheescake, milk tea and shakes.

Four stars only for their bakery and wide variety of drinks lol. Food is alright. You need to get their cheese tart is it insanely good! I go to Al Riggs just for that! Affordable too!

The dessert is tasty and nice ..but the problem was on the service it self in which I ordered a meal and I didn’t like the taste of it and I asked them to change it if it’s possible with another meal bcz I won’t eat it or to cancel it but then they where like if we Change it it’ll be the same order and same chicken and everything so I thought that they’re not getting what I’m saying and at the end they left without any solution and let me pay for it as well Think it’ll be the last time to go there for food neither dessert

ambience and lightings combined with perfect presentation of foods makes worthy instagram shots. The problem all drags down by food quality. I ordered beef miso ramen and it came served cold in a small bowl that can pass as a cup. In normal world given the price and the picture in the menu, ramen should come in a bowl and should be hot.. but i guess they didnt got the memo yet.

The only reason why we always come back to this shop is because of their MATCHA green tea. Anything that has Matcha!! It's nearly located from our house and very accessible as it is situated outside the mall.

This place is such a delectable delight!! We tried the: - Japanese souffle cheesecake - The Kitty tart (so cute, chocolatey, and cheesy) This was loveeely - The small cakes in the following flavours: ---strawberry ---mixed berries ---chocolate All tried and tested and loved!!! Though Im not a Sushi lover.... However in love with this place for their Delicious Japanese souffle cheesecake as well as Mochi.... Being here with friends second time n ordered.... Chestnut, mix berries & red bean mochis, the yummy coffee cube, French Biscotti perfectly baked n full of flavours just as the name describes, Soft n fluffy cute hello kitty Vanilla creme cake. Also tried the delicious n refreshing tea & shakes mixtures to name the few we ordered the famous Buko Pandan shake, Mango& strawberries shake & the Sangria..... But yet have loads to try on to..... We are gng to come soon guys.😋😍

Food was good and tasty. The presentation of the pastries and meals are unique. My favorites were the sushi burger/meal and teriyaki. The bubble drinks needs improvement but nonetheless I have eaten here twice.

Ambiance: Cozy when empty but can get really cramped when packed with a crowd. Especially that tables are in very close proximity, though I find the pink motif and accents of cherry blossom flowers cute. Customer Service: Warm & approachable staff, though serving time took about 20 minutes. :( Macha Milk Tea: First time to try this out. Typical milk tea flavor to my taste, only green in color. But I enjoyed chewing the black tapioca pearl in every sip. Also, they used non-dairy milk which is an added bonus for someone like me with gluten sensitivity. Ebi California Maki: The serving size of each roll surprised me. It was huge compared to the normal sushi rolls I’ve tried so far, barely fit in my mouth, but guess what, I LIKED IT THAT WAY! Crunchy on the outside, kicking with flavors on the inside. Japanese Souffle Cake: Love! Love! Love! The softest, fluffiest, melt-in-your-mouth texture of this cake is what sets this apart from other Japanese cheesecake there is. Reminds me of “Leche Flan” -a sweet Filipino Dessert. They seem to have perfected the balance of sweetness in every bite. Red Bean Mochi: The soft yet squishy texture impressed me. The thick red bean filling is so creamy and rich in flavor. The right amount of sweetness with no artificial taste whatsoever.
