A must visit for typical Indian street side food cravings.
Every Indian knows that every cuisine can be prepared the Indian way. So if you are looking for some Chinese or Italian and also want to savour your favorite chaat at the same time, go no further than this place in the heart of Bur Dubai. After having tried almost half their menu, I can safely conclude that the food will leave you nothing but satisfied. Period.
Bonus is that they also serve some delicious farsaan items on the go.
We visited veg world for weekend dining.
Dabeli and dahi puri were waste of money.
To my surprise, the manchurian dry was fantastic in taste, quantity. Just a little expensive compared to the restaurant rating.
Dabeli and dahi puri were not at all upto the mark. The dahi was neither sweet nor cold. The dabeli tasted like aloo sabji and it had so much garam masala in it.
Overall experience- average.
Nice Indian food!! For me mostly it is for taking a break from shopping. They have ok kind of seating arrangement in the middle of the shopping complex, service is quick. Food is good. A good place for vegetarian people visiting Meena bazaar !! I have tried dosa, dhokla, chats everything was pretty good . So people visiting meena bazar can consider this place for their shopping breaks 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Their bakery products like nankhatai and khari are superb quality and fresh taste.& mix pakoda was average .. Delivery was prompt
A nice place in heart of Meena Bazaar. Their Dal Pakwan is the best.. fresh juices are must try followed by pani puri and chaat counter. This place has the old town charm and I always end up picking up something or munching on something in this cafe. Respectably big place to sit and helpful staff..
Love their garlic bread and pasta and Mumbai grilled sandwich and their karak tea the waiters are friendly
Nice restaurant with good ambience. I had food here with my family and we spent a good time here. Service was quite quick and good. Staff was friendly.
Food was also good .
We were tired, hungry and in middle of market we saw this restaurant, without even looking at reviews or reading online we ordered and we were not at all disappointed. Loved the food, good quality and good quantity as well. They have kind staff too.
My favourite: Veg Triple Schezwan Fried rice, it was absolutely amazing.
We visited Veg World for dinner and were amazed at the extensive Menu. It had all the varieties of Indian food one can possible imagine. We ordered Vada Pav, Veg Paneer roll, Chole Bathura and Jalebis. Jalebis were super and Roll also tasted very home made and good. Chole Bhatura and Vada Pav were a bit average but overall had a great variety of food and experience. The prices were very reasonable and Zomato gold discount also applies!
Nice n simple place for vegetarian food.
We had golgappa basket , tawa pulao , hakka noodles ,dabeli , vada pao .
Tawa pulao was best
Food was good, quality n quantity were good .
Value for money
Best Experience and wonderful food, affordable price. Super service
Had been to Meena bazaar but never took the time to venture the eating out scene here. Stumbled upon veg world during a rare Diwali shopping. Had to wait close to ten minutes to get a seat for us three.
Chaat, Frankie etc 4.5*
Poori bhaji 5*
Value for money 5*
My favourite place in Dubai now for street Desi items
Jain options available in abundance.
Wondering why rating in Zomato is only 3.5!!??
Recently got a meal box from this restaurant for an event. It had a Vada Pav, Samosas with Green Chutney) and a Laddoo. The Vada Pav and Samosas tasted really good. Even when it wasn’t hot enough, the Samosas were crispy and the Vada Pav did not become soggy. The Laddoo was good, but there was a lot of colour powder was added to it. Pocket-friendly prices.
Great food for veg as well as Jain. Made our Dubai trip memorable with their food. We suggest to everyone who is going there. Keep up the good work!!!!
I would give this place hands down 5. 👍This is the one-stop where you can take a break during your hectic window shopping wandering around Meena Bazar...
Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality being so fresh.
Vada Pav, Sev Puri, Pani Puri are some of my favorites. 😋 this time around tried their Chinese🤞.. Pleasantly surprised as it was mouth licking... It was well worth the risk to try Chinese food in a place like this, which specializes in Chaat
Visited Veg World Restaurant at Meena Bazaar during one of our trips to Bur Dubai.
We ordered the paper masala dosa which is good enough for 2 people. It was massive and came with potato stuffing, sambar and coconut chutney. Very fresh, crispy, light and filling. Each bite was a burst of flavour. It was good enough for 3 adults and the sambar provided that kick.
The restaurant has recently introduced an indoor air conditioned seating area and the staff and polite and courteous giving us the right advise on what to order and if it is enough.
Great food, although the pricing is a little on the higher side.
It's wonderful Restaurant. It's in main place only. We had ordered for Punjabi Thali and veg cheese Burger. 🍔 was ok ok and Thali was really Good... The curries and Sambar in Thali was pretty Good... I will highly recommend for Vegetarians
I will say first off only used this place for takeway.. But the food is absolutely lovely, a large authentic menu with quick turn around times from order to walk out. The veg Samosa are superb. If you are in this region of Dubai and want budget priced food that would cost a small fortune in most western cities then give this place a visit. Honestly after visiting Dubai mall and the cost of even takeway food there I was yearning to have Veg world as a option. Once I find a good food outlet in a city I tend to stick with it.
If I am in this region again I would happily travel to get lunch here.
Pure veg resturant in Meens bazar,
loved their sooya ticki and aloo ticki
We tired tired their buffet dinner this time and loved it, very nice food and very nice taste
Tried their dahi puri, pani puri and paper masala dosa.i have been in dubai for so long but never knew about this place. Thanks to curly tales. Their dosa is one of the best dosa I ever had from dubai. Even their sambar is real yummy. I would visit this place again for sure.

Great value for your money! Hot delicious food served in simple surroundings. Their uttapams are my favorite. They have added an AC seating section so one can opt for that if it feels too warm.

This restaurant is in Meena Bazaar, Bur Dubai. Speciality in Chaat, desi style sitting. During my last visit , tried poori bhaji, Idli Sambhar, Vada pav, pav bhaji and grilled sandwich .
My all time favorite place for panipuri.I love panipuri here and can’t stop on one plate. They serve panipuri in Indian style.Whenever I go to meena bazaar I eat panipuri there. They have lots of other chaat stuff which are also equally delicious.
My first experience with Indian food in Meena bazar .. lively and veg food that won’t disappoint you .. if you are a veggie . “Malai kofta.. Gobhi manchurain” .. highly recommended if you want to try some authentic Indian veg food ..
ambience is like Indian street atmosphere .. must try if you are looking for a desi Dhaba .. in the middle of hustle bustle
Best place to enjoy authentic Indian and Gujju plus Jain cuisine. Visiting for last 6+ years and never disappointed.
Today son tried Veg Chesse Pasta and he really enjoyed the preparation.
I tried 7 wonders of Uttapam. Fantastic combination although I failed to finish last few bites.
Staff old and new are friendly, polite and ever smiling.
Authentic indian street feels when it comes to their chat! I’ve only visited them for their chaat and almost tried everything, no disappointments at all! The ladies behind the counter feed you with so much love that you might not miss your mother. Special love for Sabina!

BHEL puri,
One of the best Vegetarian Restaurants in Dubai!
We chose this restaurant for the fact that our eating preference is Jain food and Veg. World is known for it!
We ordered:
1. Veg. World Deluxe Thali
The Thali came with 1 starter, 1 Papad, 2 Sabzi, Dal, Rice, 5 Chapati, Raita and 1 choice of sweet.
Everything was tasty and it was more than sufficient for one person.
2. Paneer Pasanda
This one was one of the tastiest dishes I have ever had. I love Paneer and they made this curry to perfection.
3. Chocolate Milkshake
This was delicious as well.
I would definitely recommend Veg. World to all who eats/likes Vegetarian food. A must visit place for people looking for Jain food in Dubai!

Good Indian street food is a nostalgia for us. When we were kids, we did have great adventures with vada pavs and mani puri. Pav bhaji was cooked at home regularly. Tried pav bhaji and liked it. Buttery pav and the bhaji were good. Prefer amul butter for that smell and taste.
One of the best veg restaurant in Meena bazaar.Food is amazing specially Pav bhaji,Pani Puri and 7 types of uttapam.Very economical and huge variety of food available.
Amazing quantity of food they deliver!!
Nice and tasty food.

5.Kulfi
It was Monday was we plan to eat vegetarian food . It was early evening so just want to have snack item , so my wife decided to to go to this place in meena bazar. It’s in small mall on ground level . Mall is not fully air conditioning, but obivsly it was hot . They had air cooler which was not quite sufficient for entire restaurants. So I decided to have quick bite of food, I placed order for pav Bhavi and dahi batata puri. Dahi batata puri was good nice tasty but pav Bhaji was okay.and we placed order for two stick Kulfi which was more of crystal ice than malai Kulfi. Overwall service was quick.
This has been one of my favorite spot for panipuri with raagad.. I have been visiting this place for years now no matter what’s the weather I ensure to have their panipuri atleast once a week ..
A great place to have quick indian food. Its one of my go to places for food. I have tasted so many dishes here and everything is good. Although stand out dishes for me is their pav bhaji, chole bhature.
good quality food Veg triple fried rice a must try
