A nice hidden Lebanese restaurant for a quick bite, while at the IBN Battuta mall. The place decor doesn't impress but the food offered is decent. Hummus, chicken and fattoush are good. Pricing is on the low end which is great and the place accepts loyalty programs. If you are craving Lebanese mezze and meat while at the mall, xenia is your option.

Xenyas hummus with avocado just one of the best I have had till date. We also tried their mix grill and Ouzi lamb roast. The lamb cutlet and kebab was juicy and cooked to perfection however the shish tawook was a bit dry. The ouzi lamb roast is nice to try as well. The non smoking area is small and quiet as most people prefer to have sheesha hence the staff not available when you need them. we prefer to indulge in food only and sit in the dining area so the slow service was a put off.

This is truly a gem and will be my new favourite arabic restaurant, but lets start from the top Ambience Really comfortable chairs with colourful design and a really feel good and hygienic impression. Everything looks new, they can open sliding doors towards their little terrace, so overall the ambiance is as good as it gets and even before you start your experience you will explore a cute little mini wardrobe on the table that holds sugar, salt pepper and even wet wipes, a very nice touch. Food This is what matters most and they absolutely impress. A lot of their dishes come with their personal unique touch and presentation. For example a tabouleh in cylinder form with pomegranate on top or cheese rolls that are not rolls but little knotted sacks, super cool and tasty. Shisha Shisha is nice, not out of this world, but good enough to not deduct a start. A little comment is that the shisha is not started up for you, which I found good, as it spares the poor guys health who may have to do this 100 times a day... Price This is the next positive surprise as it's reasonable, especially with zomatongold or with the lunch special. Service was very good as well. Thumbs up to the team!!

Xenia is a wonderful restaurant with a fantastic food selection. I usually go there to visit my friend who lives in Gardens and we always manage to find a great table (even on weekends!) My favorite dish is the Grilled Chicken Breast with spiced potatoes and broccoli, it comes with a delicious sauce that I can't really describe. Trust me, it's good. Their watermelon juice is also very good and fresh. Their sheesha is not the best, I have been disappointed a few times but it is still up to par.

Pretty quirky interiors and enough seating for a restaurant inside a mall. I was surprised to walk into this restaurant that had an outdoor and good number of indoor seating. The ambience indoors was not filled with smoke like in most sheesha bars. It was well air conditioned and also cross ventilated enough to keep the air fresh even while we smoked the sheesha. The detailed interiors with pretty colours and vintage articles well placed around the seating is interesting to look at while we waited for our order. We ordered a sheesha, some Fatteh chicken and tea. The chicken tasted delicious and the sheesha was good too. The portion size was also good. We could bring our set of cards and play a game of monopoly without being disturbed by anyone up until midnight. Parking is not an issue either. Ambience : 4/5 Staff : 4/5 Food : 4/5

The weather is getting cooler, and we couldn’t resist the temptation of enjoying an outdoor meal with shisha. Here’s what we ordered: Kibbeh, Mouttabal, Hummus, Fattoush, and bread. We love Mouttabal for its smoky flavor. However, we were a bit dismayed with the dish at the restaurant. It tasted like Boursin cream cheese that you will find at Carrefour. It lacked the tanginess of lemon, the smoky flavor, and a proper amount of tahini. The serving size was good for the price. As for hummus, the serving size was good for the price, but the flavor was compromised. It lacked a good mix of lemon juice and tahini. The taste of chickpeas was overpowering. Not something one will enjoy. As for the kibbeh, lovely presentation, the flavors were present, but the insides of it were more or less dry. This happens if you add more-than-necessary bulgur to the mix. The fattoush was good. Cherry tomatoes were used instead of beef tomatoes, which made it sweet. Beef tomatoes go better in fattoush. The shisha was fine. The ambiance was cozy with good interiors. The service from the friendly and kind waitresses was prompt. Overall a good hangout place at Ibn Battuta Mall for shisha + food, but not primarily for the dining experience.

We order the hummus avocado ....such a nice idea! mutabbal Xenia taste yummy one of the best mutabbal I tried in Dubai... the grilled salmon was a big portion served with basil mash potato...we really love the mash potato! Excellent also the Shish Taouk and french fries... Nice slot to have a quite evening with friends on the terrace area or inside... Shisha available ... Having had previous experience of dining at this place we decided to revisit this restaurant! The service as usual was excellent and the food simply amazing! Wondering why 2 stars less? Its becoz we were surprised rudely, to find people smoking cigarettes and shisha in the enclosed area!!! The horror of inhaling the smoke with our little one overshadows the quality of the food and the service sadly! This struck us a little strange specially as they do have an outside area! Hope management would take into consideration the fact that small children were eating there and the smoke is quiet harmful for them!

Xenia Cafe, is a casual place to enjoy food, coffee and tea. We ordered the halloumi salad, penne alfredo, shrimp tempura, and a big nutella pizza Ive tried the moroccan tea, it was nice to try it... it has a different favor than the regular tea. The decoration is nice, colorful place and positive vibes all around.

We went here for New Years Eve as we wanted a place that would have sheesha and not charge an exorbitant rate purely because of the day we were visiting. We called ahead and made a booking for 8 people and were told it would be free. My guess is because there's no view of anything from the restaurant. We arrived and were shown our seats. Since we arrived separately from our friends, we needed some time to exchange greetings, wish each other etc. We had barely sat down when a waitress came by and asked to take our order. We declined and said we still needed to look at the menu. I am not joking, 5 different waitresses asked us for our order in the span of 10 minutes. Very annoying since we were still trying to make up our minds. That being said, during the course of the evening there was always a waitress near by to clear away anything on the table from used plates/cutlery to tissues that had just landed on the table. Again, not joking. We couldn't use one tissue twice. The minute we placed it down, it was gone. Very VERY attentive staff is all I can say. Food wise, we ordered the house nachos which were huge (definitely big enough to share), penne alfredo, shrimp tempura (not really worth it), mix grill, grilled chicken breast, and a nutella dough (basically a big nutella pizza) We also ordered moroccan tea, a citrus strike (wayyy too sour), and peach mint shisha. The shisha was something new and different. Will come back for the shisha for sure. The ambience was great, very nice to sit outdoors during this weather. However, they don't have bathrooms; we had to go into the mall.

We had been to Xenia late night, around 11:45 PM. The place is very chic and cool. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. The flowery interiors were beautiful😊 However we went there to have sheesha and sat outside. There were air coolers outside, which was great as the weather was very humid and hot. We did not eat anything here. Just ordered their special sheesha (Xenia mix priced at 52 AED) and Xenia mojitos. The sheesha was great. We were there till almost 12:45 AM and the guys kept changing the coal often. The mojitos were refreshing. Update : we tried the nachos and Alfredo pasta. The nachos tasted kinda stale . Pasta was okayish . The Turkish coffee was good ! . The sheesha was awesome as always.

Located at the entrance of China court at Ibn Batuta mall, it's a decent place if you can live with seesha smoke on your stay. Chicken salad served with finely sliced grilled chicken breast is pleasant and tender. Slices of orange /mandarin and lemon dressing gives a slight sweet and tangy taste. Grilled chicken breasts are very delicious and served with potato on side. Chicken is tender and juicy and well made,. Seesha smoke does not make your stay comfortable if you are not into it.

Had lunch on a Friday. Their hummus is one of the best I had. It also comes with fresh Arabic bread. Had the mix platter, which was huge and very good. Their garlic sauce had to much butter(fat) in it. I give them 3.5 stars only because my wife didn't enjoy her beetroot salad. I will definitely go back.

Great food and decor.. the Ramadan menu looked tempting and all throughout Ramadan some complimentary traditional snacks like whole chickpeas with cumin, beans, and lupin beans are offered. Regular place for me for hummus and sujuk fukhara. Only problem is despite of bread being baked fresh we always receive cold. Flies problem over the food is never ending. We ordered for Xenia Special Chicken, horrible it was white colou red not at all grilled to perfection. Secondly I called their staff asking her to cut the piece she could not cut the piece as it was extremely hard. Then asking for Cheque she gave me a discount of 20 dhs thinking that was a solution . Horrible experience ain’t returning back.

5 stars for the cozy ambience, perfect for shisha and coffee. I ordered a latte (yum) and a peach shisha (double yum). Then I went ahead and ordered the nutella pizza with white chocolate toppings. Yes, heaven here I come! My friend ordered the cocktail shisha, she said it got a bit stale not sure why. We also had the chicken grill which came with mixed veggies and a shwarma dip. we loved the place, the food, service and the shisha all deserve a second visit!

Do not fall for their ambience. This one is just at the start of Ibn - Batuta Mall. After office we planned to spend some quality time so we decided to visit this cafe cum restaurant. Here we ordered their special hookah which comes with (gum+ mint+ fruit flavour) which was not good at all. Firstly hookah was not good and to top that they do not even visit our table which is in their outdoor seating. We need to wait for every 15-20 minutes to change the coal. My personal opinion they do not bother about people's seating in outdoor arrangement. According to me coolers are for cooling purpose and need to switch on but they kept it as showcase item. Prices are also above average. So overall not had a good experience over here.

We went for casual eid family dinner and boy didnt we love the food ! we ordered hommos , spicy potato and mixed grill , everything was smashing hit. Black tea: Very generous quantity strong black tea with mint brewed nicely. Served in French press jug, this would your perfect choice for siding with sheesha and for the long relaxed wait for food or friends at the mall. Water melon and cheese: White cheese and herbs tied in this tiny moneybag preparation and then deep fried and served with water melon balls. Good for a side snack and good for one try. Ask them for some sauce of your choice to dip and you won't be disappointed you did. Lahm Belajin (updating on May-2016): Under Manaeesh section, do not miss this. The best value for money dish from Xenia. It's lamp and well prepared and the taste blends well with the bread. The leaves are just garnishing and at one point I thought if the garnishing is a Lil too much. Must try!! Positive: very friendly staff. The watermelon and cheese was so crisp and somewhat big for a mouth, that I was trying to figure out how to eat it without being messy, the beautiful friendly staff who saw me confused came over and asked gently if I would like some bread or sauce to go with it. Unlike tche tche next door who do you a favor by even giving you what you ordered. :P Negative: Don't know yet, will figure out something in my next visit.

Ambiance - Very charming place, liked the inside and outside seating arrangement Service - Excellent staff, courteous and quick order turnaround time Food - Was a little bit oily but taste was really nice. The Batata Hara is nice, crispy and great flavor. Lamb soup was super! Moroccan Tea was well prepared. Grilled Hamour Fish was also nice, however the brown rice served along with the dish din't really compliment, more like a side order. The cheese and watermelon was unique and worth the try. Cost - AED 50 to 65 per person Would visit again..

Xenia is a lovely coffee lounge, nicely located at the foot of my gym and entrance to the car park. Initially I didn’t have high expectation from this place, afraid of being too noisy or too dirty with dust. But since last time I spent a good morning and lunch here, I was attracted back and very likely use this place as my second office. The setting makes me feel very homey and cozy, just like what they put it, granny’s garden. The food is delicious with nice portion. Particularly for people like me conscious of calorie and picky, they did exceed my expectation. Wifi, power connection, shade, sunshine and music! What else can I ask for? Last time, the waitress was so considerate to turn down the music volume because I was reading a book. How nice!!!

Cozy place that takes you out of the Ibn Battuta environment. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast. It can get crowded on weekends but the staff never fail to fix you a table. The menu gets boring after a while since there is not alot of options but the food is always good.

It was my first time there, and i really liked it, didn't expect much though, the menu seemed regular, so we ordered what we thought was nice and deli. When the orders arrived i was really pleased by the presentation, it made me like the food before start eating it. The salmon salad with goat cheese was perfect, i liked the dressing and the fact that they rolled the cheese in a golden bag of crispy dough. Tawouk platter was big and really juicy and delicious. The highlight was those cheese rolls with watermelon on the side, crispy and yummy. If you happen to be in ibn battuta you have to give it a try.

A cute little place that I have to visit atleast once a month. Its a not too crowded place to sit back and enjoy your shisha. Everything about it is simply cute, the cute floral homey decoration, the welcoming staff, and oh my the good food. They have this innovative twisted selection of arab food that makes me want to try something new every time. Very filling and satisfying my favorites are hummus avocado, a beautiful blend served with fresh oven baked bread, and Fattet chicken, layered cripsy bread, laban and chicken seasoned with delicious flavors. I have tried many of their dishes and so far I think that their appetizers and sandwiches are always better having than their main dishes/ platters. One thing i haven't tried yet are their sweets so i think i have to go again this month. Overall I believe its a nice cute place to relax and there is so much to enjoy being there.
