The concept of "Paluto" is by far unique among all restaurant in Dubai and it captures the heart of many eaters mostly pinoys who craves for Filipino food in an authentic passion of "sutukil" or grilly-soopy-salady foodies. It's a breath of fresh air from a weekly diet of chicken-pork-beef, paluto also will treat your wallet nicely as it only charge you AED25/KG according to the amount of whatever seafood you've brought from the waterfront fish market, which you wanted them to cook for you.
The rates also includes unlimited steamed rice and unlimited soft drinks which is an added bonus.
If you are a seafood lover and have a talent in bargaining for that dream pricey seafood you're always craving for, then head-on now to the the Paluto Restaurant, Waterfront Fish Market in Deira and have a toe-to-toe with your favourite crab. Enjoy!

I really love their food, I recommend to order their in-house menu if you don't want to wait for paluto queue which would takes time rather than in-house menu. The price is affordable and reasonable with unlimited rice and soda. I will come back with my friends and family soon!
Delicious food, great ambience, good customer service. Something to bear in mind for potential diners: it's not a fastfood joint, nor is it an eat-all-you-can resto. They "cook-to-order". So, the longer the queue, the longer it will take for you to start eating (obviously; but, I can assure you, it will be worth the wait). As long as you set your expectations properly, you will surely enjoy your time there. Can't wait to go back and taste their food again.
Delicious food, good concept of the menu, great and relaxing ambiance and excellent service..Thank you Paluto for creating treasured moments with friends and relatives!!

One of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to! My husband who’s actually choosy when it comes to food, loved your mixed seafood in lemon grass/herbs. More power to you guys!
We came last night to try out their “Paluto”. Not only does it taste really really good, the presentation of the food was very nice as well. They got the Sinigang na Salmon perfectly and the Sweet and Sour Sheri was a perfect dunkin donut moment. Looks good, taste even better. Will definitely be coming back to try out their in house menu and ofcourse more “Paluto” again. Next time I might try for a lobster. 😁 Staff were really accomodating and warm. Keep up the good work, the good food and all the best. 😋
Fresh and delicious! Visiting this fish market was all one experience! You choose fish&sea food, there's a guy to push your troley, wait for it to be cleaned and bring it to Paluto. You just choose the way you want ot to be done and enjoy the food with beautiful view and unlimited rice&soft drinks
A place where you can call ... "Home away from Home"...

Nice place, fresh and delicious foodies.. Yummmyy!!!! calamares, sinigang na lapulapu, chili garlic lobster... etc.... highly recommended...
We would like to thank Paluto Restaurant For accomodating our group last night and we wanted to tell you that our dinner was fabulous and every detail was taken care of. Everything went smoothly and each of us had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every bite of the delicious meal. The staffs were wonderful, professional, helpfull and very courteous.Thank you so much for all your help guys!!We will definitely recommend you guys...
Our "paluto" is deliciously cooked. The buttered prawns are cooked like it 'melts in your mouth' and not too fatty. The calamares' batter stayed crispy til we finished, it is not gummy and perfectly cooked. And the mussels soup is amazing; perfectly seasoned, not too salty and not too overpowering. Very Accomodating and "Friendly" Staff. Definitely we'll come back, highly recommended if you want to eat "FRESH" seafood.
Thank U po Sa mGa mababait na waitress at waiter ng paluto Shout Out Pala ke “Juana” Very Accomodating and Approachable masarap ang mga pagkain walang tapon as in When it comes To Price Affordable dn Sugod na Kumain Sa Paluto Restaurant
The food is savory, appetizing, well presented and great value! Surely, we’ll recommend and we’ll come back!
We bought salmon head, shrimps and squid in the fish market.
Gave them to Paluto to make some Sinigang na Ulo ng Salmon, Calamares and Buttered shrimps. The taste were exceptional! The sourness of the Sinigang was no other. The taste was just right.
I just love this place! Love the food! Personally I would recommend this to everyone however if you are inpatient then it’s not your style. I’ve read some comment that it’s quiet hassle to go to the fish market and have it cooked it . Well you are missing the point ! That’s why it’s called paluto! It’s totally worth it .
Nice view good place perfect food. Just didnt like the soup I am sure it is great for rest but wasnt of my taste.
It was a belly -filling feast . Seafoods were fresh. I personally loved the grilled salmon. It was just cooked into perfection. All dishes were flavorful. Everyone became quite the moment they served the food because we can’t stop devouring what’s on our table. The weather was pleasant for outside seating as we enjoy the view.
The crew were very accommodating and friendly. The service was fast 👍
First time to eat here and it was a good and fun experience! If you love seafoods, this is one of the places you should definitely visit!
I would come and eat here every other week if I can. We tried many options, the sweet and spirit fried fish was one of the biggest I have seen in a restaurant and is good for at least 4 people. The seafood platter with shrimps, grab and muscle was fantastic (we got it with the sauce that has thyme in it)
Outdoor seating by the sea is always a lovely option
Since it was cold last night we chose to eat inside the restaurant. The table wasn't clean and ready so we called a staff to clean it. With regards to their food, they put a loooot of oregano on it. We love oregano. But last night was too much. We loved how they cooked the calamares and fish! ❤
Fell in love with this place .As it has a new concept of where you purchase your own fresh fish from the fish market & let these experts have it cook it for you in the sauce of your choice. Just can't get enough .. a must try for every sea food lover.
Great cooking 😊😊😊specially the sinigang na lapu lapu 😊💯
Great food with nice view of sea side. service is nice best place to spend time with group of friends by enjoying mouth watering food, staff are friendly ,
Very nice place! You buy the seafood in the market. Then they cook the seafood for you to your liking. The cheapest place to eat lobsters and crabs. I love how they cook the octopus, the crabs and the lobsters. I can't wait to come back. Great view outside.
Ugh, who can resist freshly cooked seafood? This Filipino restaurant has been making noise in the UAE ever since Chef Boy Logro unveiled it. Buy food in the fish market and the chef of the restaurant will cook it for you. Just bring a little bit of patience as waiting might be long because there are literally a lot of customers waiting to be fed! It's sea-side so you'll enjoy quite a beautiful view.

We’ve been here few months ago and our experience was great with the food & the place itself located at the new fish market in Deira with a great view beside their creek area..Food is fresh as it will be because we just bought those seefood from the market itself and let the restaurant cook it for us that is why it is called "PALUTO" but dont forget to try also their ala carte dishes.Over all eperience from the food, service & ambiance is 9/10..
Staffs are nice and accommodating. Food are perfectly cooked and the sauce are very tasty. Venue is ok but quite small. They have tables and chairs outside the restaurant but since it is summer now, no one wants to sit outside. Overall experience is good.
Food is amazing but the que is toooo long.. staffs are friendly but it’s really taking time for them to serve. It’s good for small family gathering.
This resto is blockbuster, you gotta have patience coz of the queue, came here on Eid, on queue for more than 30 mins, foods came an hour later. Was 2 hours late breaking my final fast but worth the wait 👌🏼 we had butter shrimps, calamari, chili crabs & lemon herbs lobsters- a total feast for Eid. Just pls add more ventilation outside and a faster serving maybe-given that there’s volume of people. Overall, we will keep on coming back for another seafood mukbang 😌
We love their food so much.. It's so great!!! Ambiance is good but i think It's a bit small.. staffs are nice too.. It's a bit pricey but good to try for experience
When you get into the restaurant, expect a very long queue especially on weekends. FOOD is absolutely amazing.❤️ Staff are very friendly, service is great. I cannot complain.👍🏻
Perfect food for everyone. Love the place and love the way they cook our food. We visit the place last 6th Apr with the group of 6 and 1st May with group of 12. We brought fish for sweet and sour, shrimp for sinigang (sour soup) and with sweet spicy, crab for with garlic, spicy, squid for calamares, sheri fish for grilled and lapu-lapu fish head for sinigang (sour soup). For me, the best food are sweet and sour lapu-lapu and sinigang head fish.
The food is amazing! Very tasty and fresh. Though quite pricey, the quality is really home made feels 😍😍😍 You just have to wait as this place is busy on the weekends and service is still good though 😃
Nice and very chill ambiance !!
Delicious food and friendly kabayan staff
For sure we will come back to celebrate my hubby's bday here sooon!!
Had to celebrate my aunt's birthday here and it was awesome. We are a group of 20ish and all of us had great time eating. Cuisines they cook which is up to still are all delish. Though, it will be a bit expensive if you are the one shouldering the expense coz price is based per kilo. Nice ambiamce outside especially during winter season
We are group of 12 with kids, much better if you come earlier than dinner time because table is subject to availability and first come first served basis. Especially during friday and weekend they are very busy. I suggest to buy first the seafoods you want to be cook from the Fish market and make sure that already cleaned so less time to wait at the que. The food was good we enjoyed it and ambience was great during winter. Hopefully they will have expansion of their property this year! We are looking forward to come back again soon👍😉
Are you a seafood lover? Then I highly recommend this place. My favorite is Sinabawang Mussels and Grilled Fish. We also tried ala carte, Sinigang na Talakitok.

Visited for a another review, but I really need to mention about the food and flavour, seafood with a spicy sauce very flavour packed dish goes very well with the white rice ..
The place location is outstanding! It is by the Bay Area in corniche. It was November when we visited and the breeze from the ocean was just amazing and it adds up to whatever meal you are going to have. We tried Fry Medium combo for Aed 89 and it comes with unlimited soda and unlimited rice. (Pinoy tlaga!) their huge bowl of bulalo and sinigang is very affordable which is aed 39 only. We had a great time and enjoyed our food.
The waiters are very knowledgable of their dishes and will help you to get your food done. Also, you have the option to bring your own seafoods and they will cook it for you at aed 25 / kilo.
Maybe the restaurant should consider a mellow music. I guess that is all what I thought that needs improvement. The rest: location, view, set up, value of your money is Superb!!
Special thanks to Christian who catered us so well during our stay. Kudos!

Today it was different food was the sea food 🐟 but it was. The taste is excellent and with its gorgeous and beautiful view in Palm Deira has wonderful ambience and quick service. And good price is ymmmmm
Came to Palutos for a bloggers meet where they are looking to promote a guiness world record attempt to be held on dec 1st 2018. The guiness world record attempt will have close to 27,000 people for a boodle fight of sea food. We had a preview of such a boodle fight where we all stood in line to eat sea food(prawns, mussels & crab - nicely cooked) with rice which was topped with some amazing gravy. Primarily the visitors were Filipino but the gravy was not the usual Filipino food and was very enjoyable. They charge 50 aed per visitor to be included for the event but part of the 50 aed is donated to charity through dubai Islamic. The food is good, the money goes to a good cause & hence this is the right place to be part of a guiness world record attempt. Hope i get to see everyone reading this review on dec 1, 2018.
Cuisine: Filipino
Atmosphere: Casual dining, either inside or by the bay area
Waiting: 20-30 minutes (in-house order) 40-50 minutes for “paluto” (cook for you)
Orders: Paluto of Crabs in Garlic & Butter and Lemon & Herbs
Price: 25aed per kilo per dish and unli rice + bottomless drinks at 10aed per person
Experience: Invigorating aroma makes you want for more. It’s a bang for the buck.
Other Info: Cash Only. Save by buying your seafood from the fish market, have it cleaned and proceed to Paluto. (bought my 2kgs of crabs at 20aed only!)
The food was delicious I recommend everybody to visit paluto and try their foods!
Just want to add one more thing, Ive been in paluto restaurant with 40 pieces of shrimps, after I give them to cook. However after it was cooked it has 25 pieces left. Kindly if any customer visit paluto restaurant should be cautious of how many pieces you give them versus how many you will received after cooking. i couldn't take action at that time because I do respect for chef logro because he was present in his restaurant that moment!
Anyways I enjoy chef logro's company and Trending Pinoy shooting!
An ‘old school’ way of living. Either you go straight to the resto or shop around the fish market area to find the food that they will cook for you is definitely astonishing! It’s amazing to see the seafoods you bought being served to you; cooked as you requested. Salute to the crews and chefs as the food becomes even more tastier with your handful skills!

A typical seafood pinoy restaurant where the idea is to buy your seafood from the fish market and the restaurant will cook it for you.
We did not have any effort to visit the market for shopping so we went straight to the restaurant and ordered their mix seafood platter and sweet a d sour fish! Oh my goodness! So good! Happy to have visited this restaurant though it is far from us.

Wink: Buy fresh seafood from your local supermarket, the new fish market is a bit expensive.
This place is next to the fish market.
It is a small place with lots of tables and has outdoor seating, too, with the view of the water.
You have to come up to this podium before entering the place, get your raw seafood weighed in and decide on how you want it cooked.
Food with fresh ingredients always tastes great.
We had pan fried bangus (milk fish), garlic butter peeled shrimps and sauteed squid.
All cooked to perfection. And for that perfection, patience is needed, as we waited for at least 45 minutes for it to be served.
"Paluto" is actually a Filipino term to have a meal cooked for you. So the same concept applies where you can go the market first and buy seafoods and have it cooked for you in the restaurant in whichever way you like. For us, we had fried calamari, crabs and shrimps in butter and garlic and sinigang. And they had it cooked very well and quite fast. Luckily for us, we were able to grab a table before people flocked in. By the time we were leaving, the queue got very long. Because it was a new type of restaurant, people really wanted to try it. Nevertheless, it's a place to recommend!
This is a very good concept specially it’s located in fish market. If you’re not that hungry, you can buy your own seafoods, have it cleaned and send to paluto for cooking and for dining. Price for paluto is affordable. It’s 25 aed per kilo or per dish. And the taste is really good. Just the sauce is already perfect with rice. Don’t miss out their unlimited soda and rice for only 10 aed (very affordable). The ambience of the restaurant is also good. Waiting time for paluto is just fine. We were actually told to wait for 30-40 minutes but it’s surprising that our food arrived in just after 10-15 minutes. Really a must try!!!
It should be rated above that. Amazing place and the food is mind blowing . Would highly Highly recommend this place. The ambiance is great as well , you are facing sea
Good concept a great value for money they cooked the seafood we bought to the restaurant to perfection the only drawback of the place is that it’s a bit cramped for room and the space outside is not the best choice for the hot climate all in all a must try experience 😝👍👍
We bought the seafoods from the market and have them cooked according to our desire.. though waiting is kinda long but it’s worth it... everything was cooked to perfection except for our grilled fish which was a little bit overcooked... my favorite was the calamari... also you will get unlimited rice and drinks for only AED 10...
sulit sarap...salamat sa mga staff masaya at super busog kami..la pagsisi sa pagpunta namin👍👍👍
i can suggest this place to my friends.sure na freshly cooked ang kinakain
The concept of the restaurant is highly Filipino-style where you buy fresh seafoods from the nearby fishmarket (which is cheaper) or you can buy directly from them. They will cook the way you like it at a cost of Dhs25/kg. I strongly recommend that you buy different types of seafoods, so you can taste a variety of cooking style. The dining area is not that wide, but can somehow accommodate a flock of customers. You can choose to dine inside or outside. Mind you, the view outside during nighttime is spectacular, for it is overlooking the sea. Serving of the foods will take about half an hour (depends on how you like them cooked). But it's all worth the wait because they will be delicious! The staffs are very accommodating and helpful. They will even gladly take your group or solo pictures! The only downfall is that they don't accept card payments and don't book for reservations on weekends. I hope very soon the customers can pay with credit cards. Overall, my friends had enjoyed the foods and the service. Thumbs up!
Food: as expected, it was really good. The calamari was deep fried but still soft and not bubblegum-ish. The shrimp and crab were well flavored and the clam with coconut milk was filipino level spicy only.
Location: a little far than our usual dine out but worthit to visit. Better get a sir inside the resto.
The place is cozy and the people are very warm. A very Filipino hospitality indeed. It was our first time to visit the latest talk of the town restaurant. Make it on late dinner visit to avoid long queue. Staff are accommodating. The ambience is very welcoming. The best seafood served on my table to date which let me decide to pay my second visit. Highly recommended. I cant say anything bad since we were satisfied to the level more than we expected. Cheers!
Fresh experience. Buy your fish, meat or chicken from market and they will cook it for you or you can order from their menu. Good variety of cooking flavors available. Only issue is long waiting on weekends so be prepared for that if you plan for weekend dinner. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Surely coming back to this place again.
one of the best seafood restaurant in Dubai, specially to spend some quality time with amazing food and sea view, recommended to visit and try their amazing seafood dishes
Me and my colleagues went there to celebrate her birthday. This was our first time to experience this famous restaurant most especially that i adore Chef Boy Logro. I always watch his shows thru our TFC as a chef wanna be someday 😄😄. Prices are reasonable and food serving time from the moment we ordered was just perfect. Ambiance was amazing and you can feel you are home. Staffs were accomodating and cheerful. Then staff started singing a birthday song for my workmate bringing the complimentary milkshake. Just a suggestion, since you guy are singing a birthday song hopefully next time there’s a candle to blow for birthday celebrants to feel more that it is their day and a more organize and unique way singing a birthday song😊😊. Overall we had a ball with our experience.
Weekend dinner with friends! Ordered inasal, bulalo and huge fish (that is Medium)😂. They offered unlimited rice and soda! Extremely perfect for kabayan's appetite. A bit long wait maybe because the restaurant starts to grow, and getting known but long wait is worth it.
The place is nicely situated in the new deira wharfage and i think it will be nice once all the construction in the area is completed. The service was a bit slow but it was okay. Food is perfect! Highly recommended-whether you opt for the menu or you go and buy your own at the market and ask them to cook it. Price is reasonable.
We tried their a la carte since we're too lazy to go to the market. Food and ambiance was good. Wash rooms were accessible. Prices were reasonable. They don't accept credit cards as of the moment though. But still, we're gonna go back for sure! Nice place!
A hit-and-miss afair (Been here 5x already, all during their soft-opening so it's quite understandable). A new concept of dining experience in AE where you get to pick/buy your own seafoods from the market and have it cooked your way. Cooking charges are reasonable (25AED/kg) but flavors and quality of food prep has still a lot of room for improvement. We'll still be back for sure.
Although the waterfront market is relatively new and considered to be still unknown to most. With no easy public transportation and access and far from any trendy commmercial attraction, when we went on a Sunday evening the restaurant was almost full. So right then we knew that there must be a good reason for those people to dine in.
5 stars because it had all the elements that work for us.
1. Good menu with many options and varieties of meat, chicken and of course seafood in different styles of cooking and sauces.
2. The location is perfect because it is in the market where you can truly trust that your protein and vegetables is fresh.
3. The layout and the setup along with the ambience is friendly, inviting and with very good view.
4. Prices are actually cheap, usually one will associate the word cheap with low quality but in this case we ordered t-bone steak, grilled chicken, mixed seafood for 3 person, 2 seafood noodles, bulalo (beef shanks soup) and with 4 soft drinks and unlimited rice and we paid 400.00 dhs.
5. Service was friendly and staff were well trained and you can see how genuinely they are working hard.
Finally, the cherry on the top you the option where you can buy your meat or seafood from the market and ask them to cook it for you in your preferred and chosen way for only 25.00 per kilo.
I honestly cant think of any other place in dubai that gives all the above points. If someone knows that other restaurant does the same. Please do mention.
Last word for you guys in Paluto, please dont change a thing just open more branches.
I have been to this restaurant twice in 3 days. That is how much I have fallen inlove with the place. The concept is not very commom here in Dubai which is that customers can buy their own choice of fish or seafood from the market and bring them to Paluto Restaurant for the chefs to cook. You can ask them to cook however you like it, according to what you're craving for at the moment. Paluto is actually the tagalog term for 'to cook or ask to cook'.
The first time we went was at lunch time and we ordered direct from their menu. However the manager gave us a tip to buy and haggle from inside the market. We followed his advice the next time we went (dinnner) and we got overwhelmed by how fresh and wide the seafood choices are.
If you are a seafood lover, then to miss this place would be a mortal sin. I definitely and highly recommend it to my fellow Filipinos who miss the taste of the oceans from home.
The photos I took from both times we went there. We are certainly gonna be regulars to this place. See you again!
If you’re looking for a seafood paradise to pig out and eat to your hearts’s content then here’s where you go.
Just bring your favorite seafood from the market and trust the recommendation of the staffs how it’ll be cooked and you’re set.
PS. Wear loose clothing on your way to this place. You’re welcome 😉
This is a place to try perfect grilled seafood.
Most important thing about this place is its placement, its in the Waterfront fish market. You can buy fresh seafood from the market and they will cook it for you with their special sauces.
Service - Staffs are really friendly and informative. It gets really busy during weekends but the staffs are handling it well.
Food - If you love seafood, you will love this place. Try their lemon and herb sauce.
Price - Reasonable.
Hope they will maintain the good quality food and service.
the crew were so accommodating! we bought seafood from the fish market and had them cooked in Paluto. Everyone enjoyed the grilled fish, sinigang, calamare, and cajun shrimp! Their price is so affordable at 25dhs per kilo! not to mention that if you will add Aed 10, you will get unlimited rice and drinks!

Staff - accommodating
Food - We simply love the lemon and herb seafood that we ordered when we dine in last dec 30. However when I ordered the same dish for takeaway last january 06, the taste was different.
Place - nice and decent
The concept of "paluto" is really attractive to people who would like to eat fresh seafoods. all you need to do is to buy fresh seafood personally in the wet market then bring it to the restaurant to have it cooked for 25 dhs per kilo fee. I am seeing other nationalities patronizing the restaurant as well.
Payment - cash only
