I got my food for only 10AED! 😁 Not because it’s a staff meal, but because I registered from their Website, they will send a link via SMS and all you need to do is to register and you’ll be getting your 10 AED balance. Food is nice and people working during that shift are helpful.
My first ever sushi and not at all disappointed :) Sugoi has a wide range to offer and with great taste and presentation. Loved the Wasabi too
The most affordable Japanese restaurant I know of,the food is fresh and worth the price,the sushi can be better but the rest of the dishes were satisfactory.
Japanese food never disappoints me and Sugoi had me on the first bite. My favorites are Prawn Tempura and Bento 5, impeccable! Service is not that bad, although the duration of waiting for the food to be served is understandable since the queue is all the time long. Hoping they will have their own restaurant with Japanese interiors to make the customer feel like they're in Japan while savoring each bite instead of being in the malls' food court.
SUGOI - SASHIMI - FRESH!
So walking across Dubai Mall can sure make one hungry. One needs multiple pit stops to keep the engine going :)
First stop was SUGOI.
We ordered a bunch of stuff.
A bento box : good quantity, warm, soya sauced. Will try again.
A plate of Sashimi: and this is their winner!! Fresh, thick chunks and no fishy smell! Must try!
Two boxes of maki: One was California roll and one was a mixed box. Both were okay. I''ve had better before. Wouldn't order again.
In terms of ambience: I was at a good court so... :)

Restaurant located inside the food court of Dubai mall , you need to walk around in the food court area to find the place as it’s located inside the place , they have a wide variety of Japanese dishes , and display of lot of sushi varieties , I ordered a bento box with friedrice, chicken and It tasted really good , it was kind of expensive but still it’s good , the service was nice too and it didn’t took me long for them to serve my food ,, overall good experience love it

I went to Sugoi and had the sushi bento, tempura prawns as well as Udon noodles. Really liked all the items. You can stopover here while passing through the mall and get down for a quick bite. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Felt like I needed to eat Japanese food today at the mall. I headed straight for Sugoi.
Food:
1. California orange sushi- mango, salmon and crabstick with roe. The flavours were a little dull to my liking but nevertheless it was tasty.
2. Black pepper chicken- Sweet chicken with a really flavorful palate of sauces coating it. I really enjoyed this. But it needs two people to finish!
Ambience- Lively and entertaining mall foodcourt!
Service- Standard foodcourt service. Nothing mind-blowingly amazing.
I would definitely come back to sample their sushi options and probably try their tempura which looked really good!
The sushi is great and very delicious.. freshly make in the counter in front of you.. the sashimi is my favorite at sugoi, the teriyaki are superiorly delicious.
Extremely fast service, I ordered quite a lot of sushi and they freshly prepared it in no time! I was very impressed. The quality reflects the price so don't expect restaurant standards but still it's good value for money. I will be back for sure!

If you're in the food court looking for affordable sushi, I highly recommend sugoi. Their sushi is pretty good quality and tastes delicious and best part is you don't have to break the bank to have a decent meal.
I have not tried all the dishes but when I'm around in this part of dubai mall and if I feel like Chinese fast food I end up ordering this chicken in black pepper I like that dish. I've tried the salmon and the beef but I would say if you like try something that you might end up buying again try it. It's quite nice. I would recommend that dish to my friends.
Saw this Japanese place in the food court of Dubai Mall. Sugoi. So I decided to have my lunch from here.
I ordered the Bento 2. That comes with noodles or rice and sides of chicken and beef and a small salad. I liked the sides. They had a good taste and the chicken was well done too. The noodles was good. Its like a one time meal in my opinion. The price isn't very pocket friendly either for a meal of this size. 29 Dirhams for the Bento 2. A bit on the pricy side.

sugoi is at the foodcourt of dubai mall. u can find different bento box meals at an affordable price. serving is big and surely be leaving u a full tummy. staff is fine and accomodating.
An excellent place for some nice japanese cuisine. We ordered their chicken fried rice. It was a light, non oily dish with loads of chicken and egg pieces. They also have combo meals which we had tried on an earlier visit.
FOOD - I love the bento and sushi!
SERVICE - Average.
PLACE - It is inside Dubai Mall foodcourt so it is a little crowded and small area for sittings.
PRICE - Reasonable price which is around 70 AED only for 2 persons.
I stopped by Sugoi for a quick sushi fix.
These guys serve the traditional sushi and Japanese Teppanyaki with reasonale combo deals. I tried the prawn tempura maki roll. It was surprisingly very good and flavorful. The crispy tempura prawn was generously stuffed inside. Didn't like the sauce though. Will definitely stop by again! xx
Who said vegetarians can't have sushi? Sugoi is one of the few sushi places to offer fresh vegetarian sushi that they make for you in front of you! This sushi is always made to perfection and their superior taste is maintained throughout their branches.
Their food choices at the counter section is very inviting especially when you are hungry. Foods have generous servings as well, very filling. And menu price are reasonable.
Staff are prompt; served your orders very fast.
For a food court restaurant it was surprisingly good, the prices were excellent compared to most typical sushi places in dubai. Great place to go to when you're having a little craving for some asian cuisine

But the food here was amazing and a must try.... The portions are huge and the taste is perfect...
The combos have good portions...the fried rice that cone with combo has the wok fried taste...

I go to this retaurant in dubai mall as well.as in ibn battuta mall.what i take is their sushi platter.i.think it is for 42 dhs.it is tasty especially the one made wz tofu.i use the entertainer voucher as well.

I tried a combo sushi & sashimi and it was alright. Ofcourse I'm taking in consideration that I’m eating in a "budget" japanese restaurant at a shopping mall. Nevertheless I consider a good choice to kill the "bug" for a japanese meal.
My friends and I like salmon sushi (nigiri) and we found that Sugoi has the best taste at value for money. However, it has to be freshly prepared and not the one from the chiller display as sushi never tastes good when cold. I usually order for myself a 6 piece salmon nigiri and don't mind the wait for them to prepare it fresh because when it's ready to eat, it is the right temperature and just melts in your mouth. The taste of the rice is pretty nice.
Recently, we saw a person ahead of us order a prawn tempura roll and decided to add that to our order. It wasn't amazing but it was a nice compliment to the salmon sushi. This was also freshly prepared as they were making a new batch of prawn tempuras.

Only hope is that they have an outlet in Sharjah, as Sharjah needs a good sushi place!
I will recommend Sugoi as a Japanese eatery to everyone, first experience and food was delicious. Chicken and beef were soft and not chewy. Rice was flavoured well. Keep up the standard.
tried their bento 3 which is contain seafood and udon....the udon was good, and the seafood is good as well. there is one tiny sauce which make the food taste upgraded from "good" to "great"....
overall, very happy with the meal and definitely will be back next time.

Sugoi is a fast-food restaurant that serve traditional Japanese cuisine. Their menu choices includes specialty soups and salads, sashimi, sushi and sushi rolls, robatayaki, teppanyaki, teriyaki and bento box.
They have open kitchen that features a station for robatayaki, teppanyaki and teriyaki dishes, and another station for sushi and sashimi. Their restaurant layout allows customers to view the preparation of their dishes.
There were many fast-food restaurant in the food court but since Sugoi was new to us, we decided to give it a try.
Hubby ordered prawn teriyaki combo meal and bento box of sushi rolls. I had chicken and beef teppanyaki combo meal with soup, fried rice and mousse dessert.
I guess the food was fine because hubby enjoyed his prawn teriyaki and sushi rolls but as for me it was bland and under seasoned. Although hubby told me to mix it with their sauce, I still didn’t know how it should taste like since I’m not really a big fan of Japanese cuisine.
Probably Sugoi deserve another visit and the next time I will visit it again I will try their Salmon Fillet.
I order mix dish named Bento 4 (40 aed), it contain noodles (or rice for choose), shrimps, chicken wings and some other meat. I like the taste a lot, but food was almost cold.
