Delicious. The food tastes like the chef enjoyed making it, and homesick Brits will feel like they’re right at home. I always try a different dish and they always nail it!
A British favourite. Anyone giving poor ratings must not like true British Indian Restaurant style cuisine.
Been ordering my brit curries from here for over 5 years now. Same thing each time Prawn Vindaloo and Saag Aloo.No other curry house in Dubai can match this great taste similar to home and I've tried them all. Popadoms are rather over priced though, but nice.
Excellent meal again at Brit Balti. Always good value and food always very very good. Take away is also very good. We usually sit in and the service is always quick and the staff always friendly and polite. I've taken a few visitors to Brit Balti all of whom have said it is one of the best they have been to.
Fantastic british curry house with amazing food. Mixed kebab was gorgeous and the madras and korma perfect. A little taste of home. Can order on WhatsApp too! Easy and fast service came piping hot within one hour! Will order again
Closest thing to a ‘British’ Indian takeaway in Dubai. Stick to the classics as you would in the UK like Balti, Massala and so on.
Not cheap however and they give you literally no ‘extras’ - you have to pay for mango chutney, added poppadom etc etc which is annoying given you’re paring 150dhs minimum for 2.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Dubai for delivery. Food is always great and it’s reasonably priced given the quality! The signature dish Chicken Achari is amazing!
The food was very nice, one of the best I’ve tried but this comes at premium prices. Minimum 100 delivery makes it expensive when your only ordering for yourself!
Again quality great but no loyalty for repeat customer who spends 200aed every week. Of course I'll order again!
Decent food, always quick! And close to the type of Indian food you would order from a curry house in the UK - little over pieced for a takeaway/delivery joint that is the only major criticism here.
Impressed that the food arrived hot in temperature. Peshwari naan was immense! Best Indian! Very very tasty!

Always great quality, just a shame that they have stopped appreciating loyal customers. I have used them for many years now and a few free poppadoms was always a nice touch. Maybe dubai tax has hit them hard... Will of course use again :)

Simply the best! A classic brit Ruby. Amazing. Staff and food absolutely exceptional. I always order by phone and they are very polite and always get my order spot on. Best in dubai!
It's a shame that we nearly didn't order from here because of the bad reviews as I suspect others have missed out for this reason - so glad we took the risk in the passionate search for "british indian" food because in the year I have lived in Dubai this was by far both the closest to British, and the best tasting. Flavoursome and quality food, with the two dishes so different and delicious whereas we have found elsewhere that the dishes are all the same. The only reason for not giving a 5 is that it is rather expensive, but if you are craving British curry you won't regret giving this a try.
Visited this place despite some not overly great reviews. If you are after a British style Indian, this is definitely for you. We ordered a dhansak and korma and both were very tasty and good sized portions. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back.
The bad reviews on here are totally unjust and written by people that just don't understand the concept. The place is called BRIT BALTI, it's a typical BRITISH curry house; by British curry house I don't mean Brick Lane or Rusholmes finest. It's an everyday traditional curry that we all grew up loving. If you want Daal-e-khas and paneer masala with romali roti then this isn't for you, if you want vindaloo, mild korma, half rice half chips and a keema naan then you're in luck! Food was delivered piping hot, well presented and everything was a reminder of home, will definitely be ordering from these guys again.

Brit Balti is my favourite Desi-Brit restaurant in Dubai (Yes, there are several of those down here). It is appropriately peculiar, slightly experimental and unapologetically British. The winner here is the Special Biryani. It is not a Dum (layered and cooked on low heat in a sealed clay pot) Biryani but a sort of a stir fry of rice, spices, lamb, chicken and prawns with an omelet added for good measure. Not at all how a purist would want a Biryani to be but good enough to make this one of the best Biryani joints in Dubai.

As near to an English tasting curry will get in the UAE. Had better. Had worse and perhaps 5 Aed over priced for the dishes, but it was nice to feel like home on a Thursday night....
By far our favourite Indian in Dubai! Delivery is quick enough and food is delish - speciality the pakoras, lamb biryani and chicken balti !

We ordered from this place twice. To me, chicken korma was delicious, but my husband thought it was bland. Onion bhaji and tharka dal were OK but I wouldn't order them again. Chicken balti was a success for my husband but I can't say I enjoyed it very much. Butter chicken was something we both agreed on, it was quite tasty and on a side note, the oiliest one I have ever eaten, it didn't upset my stomach but you could see oil separating from the sauce on the surface, but again, I was verry happy with it. Overall, I would and will order from this place again, who wouldn't love a good Indian!
Decided to give Britbalti a try after coming across a voucher on a deal website. I was quite in doubt after looking at the reviews on Zomato but now I'm very happy that I took the risk. Truth be told, my wife and I, we're not too fond of Indian cuisine but we were so satisfied with our dinner on our first try, we ordered dinner again just the night after! Now I can't comment if their claims are true that their recipes are like of those in UK but I can say they're slightly different than other Indian restaurants here in Dubai. Yes maybe their meals aren't authentic Indian but they don't have that claim anyway! Their curries & balti are great but their rice(haven't tried the biryanis tough) is just OK and can't really praise the naan either. They're a little on the pricey side I think but I would suggest it to my friends, and especially to those who find Indian cuisine a little too strong to their palate.
Decent food but a bit overpriced for the quality. The onion bhaji was really good, and not soggy like most bhaji that gets delivered home. Spices were as promised, what was mild was mild and what was hot was hot. The Chicken Tikka curry was good, the lamb biryani was ok. The cheese naan, well, had no cheese. The meat dishes had plenty of meat, more than necessary really. I would order again for a night like this, dinner needed and no time to cook.
Just had a Brit Balti for lunch which arrived very hot.
The curries were very similar to those back in the UK taste was great and the quality of the chicken and lamb was lovely nice and tender. Generous amounts of sauce and the portions were very fair.
Word of advise if you are two people you only need one nan as they are huge not like you typical small ones out here.
Woman who took the order was very friendly and helpful, order arrived with in the time suggested.
Would certainly order from Brit Balti again very similar to my UK curry house give it a try you would not be disappointed.

Just had Brit Balti for lunch. Firstly the positives are the food arrived on time, was piping hot and the portions were generous. The nan bread was particularly good as were the poppadum's too. I enjoyed the taste of all the curries we ordered however I have a few comments for improvement.
The Onion Bajis were really dry - nice flavor though
The Chicken Tika masala was tasty however it had a lot of coconut in it and reminded me more of a korma
The Chili chicken and Jalfrezi were really tasty although I would question the amount of oil, It was literally swimming in oil.
Lastly the chicken pakora was not like British pakora at all! Chicken pakora should be battered chicken surely?
Also you might want to consider offering things like mango chutney and onion salad as complimentary, most other Indian restaurants do.
All being said, I will definitely give Brit Balti another try! :)
It was hard to get there, maybe it would be easier for Barsha residents to figure out the roads but me and my friends were going round and round for good 20 mins.
We had vandaloo, spinach with potato (can't remember the name of the dish in Hindi :p) balti, lamb biryani and naan. The vandaloo and balti were delliiicious. My friend who is a biryani expert said the biryani felt microwaved, the curry which came with it was yummy tho.
The place was empty, waitresses said ppl mostly order for delivery, which we did another day and we noticed that the portions were bigger ;)
