One good option in Qusais for meals. It was served at 3.30 PM today . Normally they are serving complementary fish fry also with the meal. Worth the money

Dinner buffet was good & pocket friendly. But the desserts included in buffet were pathetic.
Went to their new branch opened in ajman. A spacious place to dine-in. The food was fresh and tasty. Liked the ghee rice combo with chicken and pathiri with beef roast. The kulukki sarbath and moru soda both were refreshing. A must try place in ajman.
Nice restaurant for south indian cuisine at very reasonable prices.. Excellent for breakfast and lunch. They have good variety of mouthwatering seafood dishes. Friendly staff and family room is also available
One of the best Keralite restaurant in Qusais. They are well known for their biriyanis, beef biryani is the best. Their masala is the best usually we used to get from our native. Traditional Mutta maala and Alsa available on Friday which is also a must try.
I always opt this spot on Fridays take away. Parking would be little difficult, but they serve very quick to pack it.

1.) Railway chicken biryani: The biryani was tasting a bit unique compared to any other chicken biryani yet the taste was absolutely enjoyable.
This place has one of the best biriyanis in town. Try the Arabic evening snacks. Might be hard to find a parking and a seat.. Staffs are okay. Orders might take some time as well. But worth it
Had been to Kayal Star for an iftar meet a week before . Must admit the food was worth the buffet price. Absolutely delicious and they were super good at refilling the dishes too. Would recommend for anyone who would want a haul at this budget and miss homely food in Dubai😊
Been to this restaurant.typical kerala food.Normal meals & fish meals is also good.Dishes are good especially south indian. They are famous for beef biriyani on weekend. Weekend we need to wait outside its bit crowded. Ambiance is nice.Parking is bit difficult. Recommended for south indians
Kerala Fish thali - lunch sadya one of the most amazing home cooked style meals that I have had in five years of my stay in Dubai. Highly recommended. Be there before 2pm for lunch.
Been consistent with this place for 3 years , my Friday biriyani is from here. Never missed a Friday biriyani from here and I can honestly say my favorite biriyani place ( thalessery style ) .
I never had any thing else from this place and their speciality has been the biriyani . I urge foodies and food lovers to visit places that specialize at what they are good at .

I will give them a 4 star , food is very good especially the beef and chicken curry I should say all items which I tasted is good . Even the porota is very good. Always ordered the food , and they reach on time also. Good restaurant please keep up the good job
Restaurant is quite small with few seating facilities. Mainly serve malabat cuisine. Food is quite tasty and reasonably priced. Love their biryani, parotta, ceylon parotta to the core. Dishes just as good as well.
My favorite in kayal is nai parhiri is really so good and beef curry I have almost tried all the curry chicken , mutton all tastes good and should try eleneer pudding ( tender coconut pudding)
We had family get together and bought their railway biriyani,mutton biriyani,beef biriyani and biriyani rice.they were on time.chutney that came along with it topnotch!beetroot was just average.paalada payasam was above average.mutton biriyani was yum,beef and railway biriyani above average.good quantity at a good price.to be exact 5 railway,5 mutton,3 beef and 2 biriyani rice for 250 dhs for 25 people.not bad!

Got the beef biriyani delivered to our place from Kayal star on a Friday afternoon. They got us the food within 30 minutes of ordering which is not bad.
The biriyani it was flavourful and the beef was tender. However, the biriyani was a little too oily for my liking.
I would definitely try out other stuff from Kayal star in the future.

Hotel was small.Ambience was excellent and taste of food is extremely good.Very good service by the staff.we visit the restaurant at late night but food was fresh and all the menu items are available.I think family can prefer for there outing

Quick and prompt food delivery in Qusais. Food is also of good quality. Egg fried rice was not much oily and well done. Chapatis were fresh and big. Paneer butter masala and beef fry met expectations. Chicken lollipop size was small but tasty. Overall we enjoyed our meal delivered at home. Reasonable price. Will keep trying in the future for hassle free service.
A small place and I always see large number people in and out on weekends decided to visit today and yes even though not great ambiance the food was good. Serving native chicken biryani and some good delicacies from Malabar side. 👍👍👍

Typical south indian restaurant.. their beef biriyani, i felt is one of the best in town.. i have been there for few times.. but really i tried only beef biriyani from there. Dont know abt other dishes.. pocket friendly rest.. good staffs..

Friends recommended this restaurant, so we have it a go even though it's very out of the way. It was packed on a Friday lunchtime, and the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous.
Kayal is another home! We had eaten most of the menu items so far we are satisfied with foods and friendly staffs. Fridays biriyani, lagon biriyani, chatti biriyani, fish pot curry, kayal chicken, muttun pot fry so many kerala dishes. Try once feel your home
My rating for this little restaurant is solely based on their food. They serve amazing Kerala (South Indian) food at amazing prices. The authentic calicut style Biryani (chicken and beef) is worth a try. The puthyapila kit is also an attraction with a range of accompaniments. Love their traditional breads as Pathiri, idiyappam and the popular Kerala porotta with the thattukada specials as shaapu chicken and beef fry. The avil milk is a modern twist of a traditional kerala snack. The place is a little constrained but the food compensates for it. I usually order a take away.
Had a terrible experience in the past, but it just faded away the day I had their biriyani.
Had prawns, fish and fresh chicken(leghorn /country) biriyani on different occasions. Prawns and fresh chicken are highly recommended due to their essence of real thalassery biriyani masala. Like their normal kerala meals too.
Their special falooda also a must try!

Very authentic malabar dishes you can find it.....their chicken biriyani taste as similar to the one we get from typical telicherry marraige function. Recommended to try it.
Ordered food for lunch .items were daal fry ,malabar mutton curry and some parathas and rice ..apart from the order being delivered 30mins late i should point out that the Malabar mutton curry was truely enjoyed by myself and my wife..white rice was ok little warm probably because of the huge amount of orders at that given time..definitely a recommendation.
