In the breakfast I had a Masala Dosai, excellent in taste that I felt the touch of Udipi style and you may not find any other restaurant with this quality of taste for this particular dish.
In dinner I ordered Kothu Parota, I find it undercooked and felt the spices separately although it doesn't gave me a heartburn. The quantity is more than enough.
Very good ambience and you will find a lot of parking slot nearby and the hotel is very clean. Worth of visiting to explore more goodness in it.

For me, I’m hesitant with anything that has the red chili icon on its menu. What more if it has “spicy" on its name. And it says both Hot and Spicy. But rest assure, their food is not all that (they add more spice on the customer request). In fact it’s passed my terrified palate! On several occasions I tried their rice set, because I was fascinated that they serve it on a fresh banana leaf! Their dum biryani was a success for me as well<br/>.<br/>Their vegetable dish sadly, had little portions of vegetables on them,but have generous creamy gravy, their chukka is good too, their masala dosa, was great as well. Wonderful staff and good, clean ambiance. Food is superb. I now become a regular. A MUST visit place<br/>.

There are not too many restaurants that serve dishes such as puttu, for breakfast in the area.This is a nice little place to get breakfast from for a very moderate price. Quality and Taste can be improved though.

Delivery service is worst we don't get delivery if we wait more than 45 minutes. this restaurant located same building when i called to follow they said we are not providing delivery on for you ...!!!! We don't have anyone to deliver right now after 15 minutes delivery guy will later they will send it ... It sounds strange ... (Ground Floor to reach 4th Floor need more than 1 Hour ..!!!!)

The rice was dry and sucked out of all moisture. Had to pour yogurt on top to try and eat it. Still couldn't!<br/><br/>Also ordered garlic prawns which was very oily and tasted more like an overdose of tomato sauce.<br/><br/>How do these guys manage to survive in the industry.?

A good restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere...that describes hot and spicy restaurant... Their chicken fried rice and chilly chicken DRY is ther best....Dont forget to say DRY otherwise you might end up getting a really sweet chicken curry which wont be that nice to taste....Their biriyani resembles more of the thalashery dum biriyani style and it is really tasty....other dishes like chicken mughlai...chicken kondaattam...chicken 65 are also delicious....All the veg and fish items are just average...friendly staff and reasonable cost also attracts people to this restaurant...

Hot & Spicy is your familiar Keralite 'fast food' restaurants where you go and order the usual basics- Chilly Chicken, Beef Chilly, Fried Rice, Porotta, Chicken Mughlai, Chicken Kadai. We usually home deliver from here, as it is close to home, so this time I ordered the Chinese chicken combo and asked them to give me Chilly Chicken instead of Chicken Manchurian (Manchurian is too soy-saucy for my taste and you can practically taste the ajinomoto).<br/><br/>The Chilly chicken was a basic peppers and onions filled portion with quite less chicken involved in the whole dish. I felt it was a bit blah because you could taste the spices separately, which meant it was undercooked and not refined as it should be (maybe also because I called 3 times in 20 minutes to ask where my food was, they hurried the cooking =/ ). <br/>In the combo I also got Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Chilly fry dry. The Chicken Chilly dry fry was yummy, so yummy that I was disappointed it was only a tiny little portion (what do you expect in a combo meal!). The Fried rice too was very good and these 2 together are a great combo.<br/><br/>At 12 Dhs a meal, this ain't gonna toucha fly in your wallet. Skip the Chilly chicken and go for the Chicken Chilly dry fry and Fried rice.
