Best biryani in international city to be very honest. The ambiance of the restaurant, service and staff is great. I wanted to give them 5 stars but just one small problem why I rated them with 4 is, their tables are very sticky and its not bcoz of the food or anything it’s just the wrapping they have used for the tables. If u are wearing half sleeves shirts your arms will feel sticky on them. In my 2nd visit I ordered Mutton Rogan Josh combo and chicken tikka masala combo. Rogan josh was better but chicken tikka masala had a very strong taste of tomatoes which wasn’t quite pleasurable to me. It’s a minor thing but it’s irritating. A must try biryani if you’re a genuine biryani lover. 👍🏻

The food was ordered for guests and the hygiene of the food was horrible, there were hairs found on the food and it was embarrassing at the least, then the restaurant manager (who I spoke to personally) of international city promised to replace the food and didnt follow through with it till the time the restaurant was already closed.

I've been ordering food from dum pukht for almost a year now and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for proper Pakistani home cooked meal you have to try their pulao and biryani. The most impression aspect of their food is the amount of oil they use! You will never see your meal swimming around in a pot of oil, It always perfect, delicious and healthy.

Anyone who wanna try a variety taste of Pakistani like foods then head out ! Chicken Tikka and Mutton Handi was really nice, nicely cooked and tasted well! Haleem Shahi, which is creamy mixture of grinded chicken and daal, was not of my taste but some of my friends liked it! Well maintained ambiance! Over all I would recommend this restaurant!

I ordered a mixed grill platter and a Haleem combo. The grills were good but the haleem and naans were amazing. The delivery took 2 hours which warrants a one star. I will try to order once more as the food was very tasty, hoping that they deliver quicker

We ordered Chana & Bhindi Masala and requested not to add too much oil. When the food was received the shopper from inside was soaked with oil. The food was as if we ordered oil with some food. It was so greasy and sticky. Dont know why Zomato has added instructions section when the I instructions are just to be ignored by the restaurant.

I’m really sorry to say but I had a very bad experience from this place.I ordered first time from this place and it was not at all up to the mark. I ordered tandoori murgh and chicken biryani. Tandoori murgh was burnt n hard.. chicken biryani was dry and it had one boiled potatoe ... i mean seriously boiled potatoe in chicken biryani ... I would never ever order again and will not recommend this place.

Thanks to zomato no cooking week ! We decided to try out Dum Pukht and we were pleasently surprised . The food was flavorful and yummy . The quantity was also sufficient. The tandoori chicken tikka was nice .The only thing i wish was that the chicken tikka should have been a bit more cooked . We felt the tikka pieces were a bit dry and chewy . All i all decent value for money

Dum Pukht is an affordable restaurant franchise specialising in Pakistani cuisine. I first visited Dum Pukht years before I became a blogger. Located in Karama, the original was an outlet I would drive by on my way to BurJuman. It’s still there although it has been thoroughly revamped. Later they opened a branch in JLT and now this one in the England Cluster of International City. Business must be good.

Another Dumpukht in Dubai...fabulous! Now they have a larger footprint and we can have it at work and at home. Ordered from Int City and wasn't disappointed. The same authentic dum biryani taste. Haleem, nihari and shami kababs, my favourite. Ordering from here each Friday has become a ritual for my family now. Looking forward to trying the halwa puri b'fast tomorrow.

So what we have here “Dum Pukht” in international city. Well I remember they were the one ☝️ back in 2007 and 2008 who were serving the real desi biryani in dubai and now they have a branch here it’s great. Will not write anything about their biryani because you need to try it to do justice with it (it’s yummilicious). Recently tried their handi and tawa qeema with fresh chapati and it’s 5/5. Service in dine-in and timely delivery both were exceptional.

We went there today with lots of expectations. We ordered nihari, chicken chowmen, beef bihari roll and egg fried rice. Now we start receiving our orders in bit and peices, we got chicken fried rice instead egg fried rice, ok we start trying it without any complain because we were so hungry but the rice was Soo oily and recooked. Now lets move on to their so called famous "nihari", it was finally served after half an hour when i asked them. Nihari was extra ordinary thick and the naan was also not fresh. We we're totally shocked that there was no taste of nihari in their famous "nihari". Again disappointment is on peak. Now chicken chowmen it was just ok but we charged 33 dirhams for it. Third disappoinment.as we were totally fedup with service and the quality of food we just wind up and decided to leave this amazing restaurant. Now it's the time to pay the bill. In this pay they have already added the amount of bihari roll which was not even served and nobody bothered about it but its price was on the bill. This restaurant just ruined our dinner and expectations as it was our first experience. One suggestion in the last, don't go over there if you love your money.

So I ordered food for pick up as the recent reviews stated they are bad with deliveries. I spoke to their staff at international city branch and ordered 2 chicken biryani, Mutton kadai, and 4 naans,for dessert I ordered 2 firnis. I specifically asked if biryani is served with Raita, they confirmed saying yes and then said they will add complimentary salad too. Now I do want to take partial blame for not checking the order before my husband left the shop but there was no salad or Raita. I had guest over for dinner so didn't want to waste time in following up. Food was average. I liked there naans and that's it. Pretty disappointing with overall experience. Most probably will not be ordering again

Ordered Saag, Keema Naan, Biryani, Paratha and chapli kabab. Kababs were tasty, Biryani could have been a more spicy, Keema Naan and paratha was good, Sarson ka Saag was ok but I have eaten better in Lal Qila and Desi Max restaurant in Bur Dubai.

Worst delivery time. I ordered on 8 pm but food was not delivered after 1.5 hr also. I called on 9:40 pm, they told that it is in the Kitchen. I live in International City and I ordered so that I can get it quickly(as the restaurant is located in International City). Even restaurants from Silicon Oasis delivered within an hour. I would suggest no one should order from this restaurant in Zomato.

I've been trying to contact Zomato customer support but there was some server problem. Yesterday I've ordered food from Dum Pukht Restaurant, International City. As per Zomato my bill was AED 42 but at the time of delivery, they have charged Aed 45. Additional Aed 3 as delivery charge they have taken which was certainly not mentioned in Zomato. I paid that as I didn't knew the actual bill bcoz my wife has placed the order, later she told me about that. The problem is that if the delivery charge was not mentioned in Zomato then the restaurant should have not charged Aed 3 as delivery charge. It is quite UNFAIR on the part of Dum Pukht Restaurant.
