Hot Box Located in JLT is the perfect spot for a morning breakfast or evening tea.
Very reasonable rates and great food. They have everyday fresh newspapers and magazines stacked. So you go through them while enjoying your breakfast.

I ordered chicken baked potato it was so delicious literally mouth watering from aroma to its very taste. The chicken was so tender , veggies were fresh and the right combination of cheese and pepper. 😍😍😍

The food is good, the staff are friendly. I like their breakfast. the price is very reasonable. They have also Karak tea. Ask Karak for ginger, you will love it. There are room for improvement though.
A perfect place to treat yourself on a lazy weekend if you live in JLT with amazing Maple syrup or Nutella PANCAKES!!!!

Ordered through Zomato, food was delivered on time and was piping hot on arrival. Ordered the Nutella Crepe, Veg Baked Potato, Pancake, and Spaghetti Al Pomodoro Con Carne [Beef]. The Baked potato was big enough for two meals, and was topped with capsicum, black olives, tomatoes, mushrooms and corn, nice combination. The spaghetti was properly al dente, and the bolognese tasted fresh with a nice portion of ground beef and cheese topping (another 2 meal portion here). The pancakes were delicious and were eaten before I could get a picture of them. The Nutella crepe was nice and light with the right amount of Nutella in it. Will definitely try a few other items from the menu.
Lovely place to hang out with buddies and chatting with a karak tea pot. They serve the superb breakfast with lots of choices. Its a place where u can enjoy refreshments while doing your work with free internet access.

I’ve always counted on getting a (yummiest) late brunch from Mensch! Unlike other restaurants in JTL, Mensch don’t have strict timing for breakfast. The staff are exceptionally polite and deliver food quickly. 5+****** for the food and experience.

Location and Ambience is relaxed. Food quality is good. We ordered chicken omelette which was prepared very well. We also enjoyed the saffron karak tea and chocolate cake. Highly recommended.
One can always count on a healthy, stomach filling breakfast/ lunch from Mensch Cafe. The food is prepared to perfection and delivered in timely fashion. Thumps to the chef and management staff.

It's a very well situated restaurant for families with young kids as it's near the playground... went for breakfast and it was very pleasant, loved the avocado chicken crepes and sausages. There are fresh juices that are naturally sweet and very tasty. It's an amazing place for breakfast when the weather is nice and would love to visit again.

Mensch Cafe is one of my favourites when it comes to comfortable cafes. I can literally spend hours at a stretch sitting on the corner sofa with my laptop and sipping their karak tea pot and no1 will disturb me. The staff is accommodative and honestly I feel home here. Their food quality is average but then I dont come here for food anyway. The tea pot is a good value for money as the quantity is a lot and 3 ppl can also share one. It is open till 1am so if u crave for tea late night or just wana sit and have a chat with frens u can come here. The place overlooks the park in JLT and is a nice locality.
I was in mensch cafe last night i had karak zafran and oreo crepe. i really enjoyed it first of all the zafran they put is@ real zafran not fake because i am expert in this and second the crepe was delicious and the prices was resonable so definitley go back to them to try other foods and beverages.
Was looking for nice place for english breakfast with reasonable prices. And I think I have found it. Loved the food. Nice place for outdoor seating and spending time with your laptop.
I'm almost spending every night in mensch doing some work or meeting some friends, I feel like I'm home ;) Variety of drinks are served with a big smile, foods are so tasty as well. And talking about prices they are mostly reasonable.

i have a dine in experience in your coffeshop way back september 16 2016 at around 7pm in the evenning and i ordered Super breakfast. the food is nice, the ambiance inside is relaxing and the 2 staff that includes the lady waitress is very accomodating and friendly. i will definitely refer this place to my friends whose a property consultant like me.
A nice, classy cafe with reasonable prices and amazing food. We were looking for a cafe where we could find good English breakfast at reasonable prices and this was perfect. They have this breakfast meal which comes with a dish of egg, 2 sides and a drink - perfect breakfast! I loved their orange juice and classic pancakes. The pancakes had the perfect thickness and sweetness. The service was quick and the staff was also very friendly.. looking forward to visit again.

Since I came to JLT I do all my night and late work in Mensch cafe the atmosphere, opening time, all the night's staff are polite and professional with great hospitality and actually the more important thing that there is no cafe in JLT know how to make a Turkish coffee as it should be like the way they making it everyday there .. only may be if they add a small glass of rose water with it would be over perfect

I have been coming here regularly for the last two years as this happens to be the place that opens the earliest and stays open till quite late at night. The staff have all been there for a long time and are exceptionally courteous. I recommend the karak saffron along with their super breakfast as it is excellent value for money.

After running about finding a cafe that was open on a Friday morning with Wi-Fi and a wall plug to connect our laptops we finally discovered Mensch Cafe. Believe me, it was a a major task as the previous 3 joints we tried in the same cluster did not either have a wall plug or working Wi-Fi or open to public. Arghhhhhh & the heat was killing
So once we settled ourselves in for a writing session, we also discovered that not only is this place funky, it is cheap as hell. Total bang for your buck! The walls are adorned with pictures of artists and entrepreneurs (like us). We had a heavy breakfast here, wrote to our hearts content and settled in with green tea and a pot of chai karak. Everything was perfect. Just a bit too hot as the AC wasn't powerful but everything else was amazing !!

Ordered their Italian pasta salad. The quantity was great and filled with veggies. They didn't skimp on anything. The pasta itself was cooked well and the broccoli was fresh. 2 things I generally look for. They realistically told me how much time delivery would take and delivered on time.
I wish they had a whole wheat pasta option too. Would order again for sure.

I visited Mensch cafe with a few friends some days back since it is one of the cafes that is open till late.
The decor of the cafe is very interesting with the walls covered with photos of famous individuals from different fields. You can find Serena Williams, Mother Teresa, Albert Einstein etc.
The cafe was not too busy when we arrived. I ordered for a Mixed Berries shake which was made of Raspberries, Wild blackberries, Morello, wild Blueberries and Blackcurrant. The shake itself was thick and tasted good however the straw given to me was the small one and the berries kept sticking in the straw making the shake difficult to drink.
Since the cafe did not have big straws, the staff was kind enough to give me a spoon to help me out.
My friends ordered a tea and they were really impressed with it.
We sat for a while and I still hadn't finished the shake due to obvious reasons. I therefore asked the staff to transfer it to a take away container. It seemed like the staff was a bit confused or probably just exhausted since the staff member threw my shake away. When I asked them for the shake they apologised and made me a fresh one to take away. They also asked me to taste it to ensure that the berries were no longer getting stuck in the straw.
The shake was even better this time around and I left happily from there. It was kind of a funny experience with the service but the staff was considerate enough and corrected their mistakes. I will surely be giving them a try again and will order some food too.
Best and refreshing protein shake I've had! Try the iron man, double scoop with vanilla protein, it's great!
Night shift staff are the best, very friendly and service is good and fast.

I use to eat in mensch cafe twice a week together with my wife. Our favorite dishes are the backed potatoes and BBQ chicken sandwich. So far there is nothing what I can complain only that it is hard to find a free table in the evening. I know Rosalle and apple (two of the stuff members) really well since I moved to jlt and they are always nice to us. So far so good there is nothing what we can complain. Thanks

The place is in the same building where I live, although I have not tried many dishes , we'll actually I only ate omelet and it was just perfect apart from that I come here for coffee juices and karak tea ,what makes me choose it among all cafes and restaurants in the area is the friendliness of the staff , ask for Roslie and you will know what I mean .....

Have been visiting this cozy cafe since the last 3 years. Good range of cakes, snacks and not to miss out on their awesome breakfast menu. Baked potatoes with Karak tea is my favourite while my daughter loves their chocolate cake. Mensch is one of my everyday hangouts. The atmosphere is just perfect whether you want to catch up with friends or work on ur laptop. Their karak chai is my absolute favorite along with the servers Rosalie and Sam who always welcome us with a smile on their face 😊
I've just moved into JLT and have been to Mensch several times already. The crepes are amazing, pancakes are great, and the service is wonderful. I'm already on first name terms with Sam and Roslie, who know my order before I've asked for it. Will no doubt continue hanging out here for a while! Lovely little gem to have on my doorstep.

I usually visit mensch after dinner to have their karak zafran Chai and it is always on point. Exactly how I want it to be. what's even better is the service from the staff in the night shift. They really know how to retain their customers. A must place to visit.

My first visit to Mensch was wonderful, the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is great! I just moved to the neighbourhood and I definitely will retuen often. The staff are very helpful especially Rosalie, she really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well fed. GOOD JOB MENSCHE! Keep up the good service, its hard to find helpful staff these days in Dubai.

Overall, I think it was a good experience. We had breakfast on a nice pleasant Friday morning. Was quite surprised with the variety offered on the menu. Lots of choices. Food was good, nice play area nearby if you have kids. We felt salt was lacking in all our food. Good value for money. Croissant was a total let down. Flat and not at all flaky. Excellent service, very friendly staff.
