Great food taste and quality
Never expected Japenese food will be having awesome vegetarian dishes specially this restaurant have only 2 or 3 dish maximum but taste is very good staff were very polite and helpful
I had been wanting to visit a Japanese restaurant since long and I found the perfect place! This authentic Japanese restaurant will transform to all the way to Japan ! The ambiance, the food, the hospitality and warmth...it's worth every penny.

Amazing food and amazing staff 👏🏻 everything was made according to our likings and the chef himself would come and check if we were satisfied.
We went there for a lunch and had a club sandwich with turkey and chicken. And a chicken noodles. Both were reallyy good amd tasty. Amazing freshly squeezed orange juice too.
Been one of my favorite restaurants to dine in! I like the combination where i can get Arabic, Italian and Asian food all under one roof!

I loved the Nasi Goreng it had marinated chicken, chicken sate, shrimp and was finally topped with an egg. It was perfect with regard to taste and quantity.
The Wok Pad Thai Noodles was great as well! but i would strongly recommend you to share this dish!
The chocolate fondant was amazing! Thankfully it was not you're average Betty Crocker batter but freshly made straight out of the oven with their own chocolate!
Overall i would recommend you to visit!

Was an amazing experience while being tired in gitex like an oasis in desert amazing drink and food and the atmosphere in the cafe plus the staff was just so cool... and the dining experience was as good as it can be specially the Japanese food..
After a hectic day at the exhibition, me and a friend decided to takeway from Japengo. We ordered Yaki Soba with chicken and Alfredo Pasta. Yaki Soba is basically noodles with chicken and decent flavors and my friend quite enjoyed her meal. It was light and had a large portion size. The Alfredo pasta tastes better with oregano and chilli flakes as its quite bland. Its given piping hot so you don't miss out on the creamy cheese sauce. Great food, great service, has large portions and is slightly high priced, but worth the money. Highly recommend yaki soba and alfredo pasta.
This place has a serious identity crisis and has 5 different cuisine on the menu!
You can get anything from pastas, burgers, sushis, Thai curries, steaks to nasi goreng!
Sadly they are jack of all trades but master of none. The prices were also higher than average!

Was in trade centre for an exhibition, entered alone, the person at the door asked table for one, and made me sit on one of the closest table to door. When you ask someone and make them sit at least ensure to offer a menu. The wait was 5 minutes to ask for a menu and then i decided to explore the menu on Zomato and placed my order. Alfredo and chocolate milk shake. Alfredo was awesome may be we can say i love white sauce pasta anyways 😊. Chocolate milk shake was average, when you order something like that you expect it to be thick which was not exactly the case. In last few sips it was just liquid and icy.
Note: not criticizing just sharing my experience, of course in a business like restaurants you cannot be perfect all the time. May be there is something you should look into may be not.
Dined in japengo for lunch during an exhibition in world trade centre.they mainly serve japanese and italian cuisine.tried their chicken teriyaki and golden chicken.it was ok.the portions are huge and filling.good for one time visit.
Decided to try something new in the Trade Centre Area so dropped by Japengo. Ordered Chicken stir fry and a beef burger. Food was tasty and filling. Staff was friendly. Worth trying.
In the middle of amazing surroundings this place is superb for having a dinner. The cool winds makes you feel cooler from inside. The food tastes delicious. Waiters are polite and service is way too fast than expected. So, go for it !
Good place for Italian. Tried their Spaghetti Arrabbiata and Yaki Soba, they tasted great. The Spaghetti was cooked to perfection.
The Mediterranean Chicken main course was OK, can be improvised. The place is pricey, attributed to the location.

It's been a long time since I came back to eat at Japengo. I remember that before I used to dine at this place at least thrice a month. I kept coming back for one dish... Nasi Goreng! So it's no surprise that at my comeback, just before we sat down and got the menu, I am already decided on what to get. The selection has not changed much, or I just did not notice if there were any 😂 It's my wife's first time here and she was satisfied with what she ordered and overall dining experience.
Ups: Nasi Goreng is a must. The Tempura has got some good sized shrimps in it.
Downs: This cafe boasts of Asian Fusion. Recommend to add more selections.

Tried them during the recently concluded Arab Health when they were super busy, so my review is specifically for the period a crowded, busy exhibition.
It was crazy busy outside and most next door restaurants had no seating available. We headed off to Japengo and were promptly seated inside. The decor is a no-fuss with minimalist touch of a kitchen given. Waiting staff passed us the menu and was quick to take down our order.
I was in the mood for something healthy (for a change!) and ordered the Avocado & Shrimp salad. We were served in under 8 mins (which was quick given that the place was busy) and the salad was nice. It was cut out nice and liked the seasoning topping, which added flavor to what would have been otherwise a no-taste eat-your-greens meal.
What was also different from the other restaurant in the exhibition area was that they did not over crowded the place and cramp in as many seats as possible. It made it possible to have a conversation which is not possible at other restaurants next door where it is just too noisy.
Love the presentation and the service , the quantity over price is good and the taste is better, yet my plate was a bit salty for a spicy carry chicken but definitely it's a place to visit yet one thing I noticed they should focus on having cleaner glasses since I had to change my glass and another guy next to me had the same problem

Surprisingly the best crispy California rolls I have had . Love the food at jape go and you can never go wrong with anything you order especially the nasi goreng
This outlet is right in the middle of Trade centre and is usually crowded with queue waiting to be seated. We were lucky to get the seats right next to the glass door and can see the exhibitors walking across. staff is friendly and the best part was that on our three day visit the food and the service was consistent. Great place to visit if you are exhibiting, doesn't has much time and do not want to explore much because the menu offers almost everything...
i went there today for the first time and was pretty happy with my experience , although it was a very busy day due to Adeec dental conference going on in trade center, but service was fast and satisfying.
i ordered japengo's special maki roll, and crispy california roll that liked them both, and their mozzarella cheese and tomato salad which was divine, beacuse of the pesto sauce over it i was in love with the salad, and it was very appealing to eyes.
for sure will go back soon to try more stuff from the menu
