Stopped for a quick bite and the service was quite good. Tried the Quesadilla (4/5), Spaghetti carbonara (3/5 quite cheesy) and Penne alforno (4/5). The spaghetti and penne was al dente and quite to my liking. Portion is appropriate for the price. Entertainer friendly.

This restaurant is conveniently located in Knowledgr Village so it is often packed with students. The staff is always friendly and even when they are busy service remains fast and timely. I have tried a few dishes off their menu, all good but my friend and I keep going back for their pasta. The portion sizes are huge and it is onr of the best pastas we've had. Cheesy, packed with flavour and great sauces. Our usual orders are Spaghetti Carbonara and Penne Alforno, both of which I would recommend.

Live For Food

Have tried multiple items there as I work in knowledge village and it is a great restaurant around there. Their Pasta Alforno is my favorite, a delicious mix of tomato and cheese. Fried rice and cous cous salad are next favorite. Highly recommend place.

Used to visit here back in my uni days. Recently went to knowledge village and walked in. I was tempted to stick to routine and order my usual club sandwich but decided on pasta instead and what a hell of a pasta it was. Complemented with the chilli oil, and the portions were so much that I literally had to take half of it home. Would recommend again as they are still just as good as I remember them.

I go to Skylers just for their Pasta. I’m a pasta person and I’ve been to many different restaurants, ordered online from many different sites, had so many people make me pasta before. But Skylers by far has the best pasta I know, and I’d go there everyday if I could.

I was Craving for a plant-based lunch one day and decided to try their mushroom risotto. Food Arrived on time, hot and Perfectly cooked! Very happy to know that its guilt-free no meat. I will recommend to others and will try other food items soon.

Stopped here for lunch with some friends right after a class. Had been here a few times before. Had a bad run in with their customer service and staff my last visit, but decided to come here for a bite as I was really hungry and craving some pasta. Ordered the Penne Alforno as I always do at Skyler’s. Extremely filling, tasty and relatively healthy without all the added cheese. Loaded with chicken, hearty vegetables and a delicious sauce (which I do applaud them for because a lot of restaurants, even high end have very sour tasting tomato-based sauces, which is awful if your stomach is sensitive to the acidity). The dish makes for a a very well rounded meal to get you through your next few classes! Service was pretty quick and our waitress was friendly. They have pretty great value offers as well, so it is definitely budget-friendly! My order could have used some parmesan for some tanginess, and chili flakes for a little kick to make each bite more enjoyable but it was still fine. The decor is cute but not a big fan of the setup. The space inside is a little cramped and it is a little dark, so that could definitely be improved on. Overall: Value - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Ambience and Atmosphere - 2/5 Definitely worth a stop for lunch if you’re a student at Knowledge Park or just passing by.

Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing food! My go-to place after classes and all the hustle. Serving size is perfect to fill your tummy. There are different types of seating arrangements. You can sit at the normal table and chair or booth or at the high chair or outside.

"Eat breakfast like a king" - this place takes it too seriously, the omelettes (breakfast) fill up your stomach topped up with sausages, toast and hash browns. The Americano is refreshing and blows away the leftover sleep. The ambiance is somewhat a mix of retro and contemporary style of interiors. The staffs are really nice and polite.

We find it vital to start the day off with a proper breakfast. Skyler’s Place offers the best breakfast in Knowledge Village at a reasonable price. We ordered their famous 3 Cheese Omlet (AED 25), Crispy Chicken Wrap (AED 30) and a Hot Chocolate drink that came with the breakfast combo. The 3 Cheese Omlet was accompanied by toasted bread, hash browns and sausages. It was a hearty, delicious meal indeed.

This restaurant is walking distance from where i work and although initially (like 4 yrs ago) ive heard really bad comments about this place, ive wanted to try them out for a long time. I’ve visited them a few times now and all my visits where quite uneventful and filled with delicious food. I usually get their penne arabiatta but yesterday i happened to feel a little off and decided to get a breakfast menu item (they do have an all day breakfast) and loved what i got. I ordered their spanish omelet meal with mocha (my fav) and the quantity i got was definitely filling and delish. The best part? You can call them 10-15 mins before you arrive and place your order and they will have it pipping hot and ready for you when you arrive. Saves waiting time if you are in a rush ☺️

Skyler's is in my university campus thus going there is easy as ever, the place has an outside seating and indoor one for when it's too hot. The prices were extremely fair for the quantity of food served and from certain hours in the morning your breakfast comes with a free drink of your choice hot or cold. I ordered the pancakes with syrup for 23 they weren't the best I have ever had but satisfying enough; I asked for fresh orange juice which I loved as it was really FRESH and refreshing and my friend ordered eggs that came with hash brown, toast and green tea which she really enjoyed. I recommend this place for university students as it is affordable and right there on campus with good food.

Skylar's is a best place for lunch..The only restaurant in my uni that I liked so far , the food is good Quantity is perfect But the only thing is their service is extremely slow , I can't take a risk to have food during my class gaps.. Everything else is perfect Oh did I forget to mention that we get a free dessert after 4:00 🙈 (please do ask them about free dessert, if you are planning to have lunch after 4:00pm)

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day!! And what's better than having that meal with the people you love? Skylers is my personal favorite in knowledge village. The ambience, the staff and the music makes it a small get away from the hectic classes. My boyfriend and I have our own skylers ritual where we have their amazing breakfast(that comes with a complimentary drink before 11:30 am) on all anniversaries and second Tuesdays of every month. They also customize your breakfast spread without any additional charges. I recommend my fellow mdx/uowd folks to grab their girl/boyfriend, best friend and head down to skylers so that their 8:30 classes are not the only thing they "look forward" to on a Monday morning.

Nice atmosphere, service is abit slow at times and during lunch hours this place gets busy. The food is good, has its ups and downs depending on days. The Thai curry with rice is very good dish, and very flavorsome only would like some more sauce. The fish and chips, be prepared the fish helping is massive, but oh dam is it tasty. Place is very good for a lunch time meal, for quality food. Don't expect it to be a quick meal tho as food does take a while at times. Do try he hot chocolate. It's one amazing cup.

Skylar's Place is one of the many food options in Knowledge Village, located in between Middlesex University and right opposite the KV food court. It was a late Saturday morning and we decided to order breakfast (apparently it's served all day, according to the menu) : Pancakes, Italian Omelet with Cappuccino and Café Latte. The pancakes were undercooked and tasted absolutely unappetizing; we had to send them back to make a fresh batch, yet there was no difference. The Italian Omelet consisted of Omelet with diced sausage and cheese with hash browns, hot dogs and bread. The omelet was bland, hash browns were too oily and the bread was overly toasted. However the coffee was pretty decent. Definitely not the place if you want to start your day with good food.

Wanted to try this place for a very long time since I pass by it almost every day. Went there with 2 of my friends and we ordered their Nachos, Penne Arabiatta and Quesadillas. The best from these three would be the Penne Arabiatta without any doubt...it was very tangy and had a nice flavour. I would totally recommend it. The nachos weren't all that great..they had said they would include tomato salsa with the nachos in the menu but when it arrived, it had only tomato pieces...I don't think I would go for their nachos again. Quesedillas were just alright...like it didn't taste that Mexican we felt. A lot of people had complained about how they take a long time to deliver, but when we went they brought our food within 10-15 mins of placing the order...so they have improved on their service I think. I would definitely visit this place again to try out their other items especially their pastas💖

They make amazing food (thanks to the chefs) and a good variety. Would like to see more healthier meal options since I eat there almost daily and preferably know the calorie weightings. Recommend they add like a Mexican taco salad with the beans and sauce and all for the menu with all the great stuff they've just recently added. Good food portions for good rates. I also really like how I am always greeted welcomely and warmly - feel like my money is spent in the right place. Customer service is great and I am always recommended even better food for the next time I visit. Genuinely enjoy eating at this place.

So we ordered Italian omelette, 3 cheese omelette and pancakes. I personally found the price of the omelettes worth it as we got hash browns, sausages and toast as sides. According to taste I'd say that it was pretty good and the portion size was filling. Best part is that till 11 Am they have an offer in which you get to order a free drink (mojitos, shakes, smoothies, hot beverages, cold beverages and fresh juices) from their menu. Personally the only drawback were that the pancakes were pretty hard and dense, which they changed as soon as we brought it to their attention.

Since everyone in university loves this place, thought I'd go there. The place is good. Both inside and outside. The inside is a very classy and elegant look with good music playing. And the outside is very fresh and gives you a sense of "it's own restaurant aroma" kind of a feeling. Ordered the Tortelina Pasta or something like that haha, because Alfredo Pasta is such a basic dish. Anyways, it came for 39 dhs. In terms of the quantity, it was perfect. Stuffed me and I'm sure I could've gone with 2 people and still be full. In terms of the dish itself, it comprised of Fish, Prawns, Onion Rings and Pasta itself. Fish was perfectly cooked. Prawns were exquisite as well. Onion rings were disappointing, thought it could be way better. Pasta I was a bit skeptical about. Came in a different shape and didn't look like your standard shaped pastas. I'd preferred if it was the standard one, but nevertheless not bad. The sauce was a perfect blend though. Worth the money? Ehhh. Still not sure. But would definitely go there to try more variety of their dishes and then come to a final judgement. Tip : Go with 1 friend and you won't have to pay 40 dhs all by yourself. That's what I plan to do next time!

This is one of the very few sit down full service restaurants in DKP located in Block 18 opposite Starbucks serving continental food. We went here during lunch time and it was pretty busy. Rightly so, the service was a bit tardy although the staff seemed good and friendly. We ordered mushroom soup. The menu said that it comes with bread but there was no bread served. The soup tasted really nice. We then opted for Greek Salad and that was freshly made too. Outside seating is the best during cool weather. I would surely love to eat here everyday, but for the price they charge for food (which is fair). Nevertheless, I'll surely drop by again.

Went there with friends for lunch. We ordered the Thai chicken curry with rice. It was AMAZING. we were thoroughly satisfied with the meal. The curry was very thick and creamy. The chicken was cooked to perfect, too. We had their berry shakes Which Skylers is known for. And it was absolutely fantastic. Skylers, if it weren't for your heavy price tag, I would eat from you every day. Extremely satisfied!

Finally came around to visiting this place after a friend wanted to go so badly. A more restaurant kind of place in Knowledge Village compared to all the fast food places in the food court. They have a pretty decent menu and options with nice seating. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo (one chicken and one shrimp), A Beef Stroganoff and Strawberry Milkshakes. The pasta was good, both chicken and shrimp though I preferred the chicken more here. The beef stroganoff was just alright, not a great choice. The milkshakes were good. All together, the price to portion is okay but not a must visit.

Well this is another place in KV with extremely slow service. In fact you need to be an expert in grabbing the staffs attention. Their ambiance and seating space is quite nice and I thoroughly enjoy a restaurant feeling when I visit this place. The best thing is the bread that they serve before your meal, that is their USP. I used to be a big fan of this place in Academic city however in KV their quality is a bit poor. Their breakfast is quite pricey compared to others in KV. The cream of chicken soup tastes like the packet soup, but some of their appetizers are really nice like nachos and the risotto. I like their quesadilla and the pasta - it is how I would also make at home. I also like their Pette De Polo which has creamy chicken with mashed potato and veggies. They do overcook their chicken so be mindful of letting them know how exactly you want it. I guess this is a decent up standard place in terms of price in KV and should try once if you are in the area.

Finally got a chance to try out this place after passing by a few times during lunch, today it seemed a lil less crowded. Was starving so directly dug into the entrée and called for the Pollo a la Parmessa (Pardon my spellings!) It looked appealing but the portion appeared to be a bit petite!! Thatz only till I dug in... the crisp fried chicken served on a delicious salsa topped with cheese.. really guud... and what more... I did my bit by having the veggies too!! Looking forward to trying their extensive menu. Good food.. good Service...

If you work or study in knowledge Village and you have to be there all the time then Skyler is probably one of the high-end options for a place like knowledge Village. That doesn't mean it's actually a high-end place. Far from it actually. But when you are working in knowledge Village your options are limited and Skyler's food is decent. I think they're lemon chicken is probably the best dish there. They have a vegetarian pasta that I've been meaning to try that looks quite decent. However what tends to happen is Skyler's is that you leave with a stomach ache which is what is common of almost every place in knowledge Village because the restaurants there are seriously filthy.

It's a small cozy place to dine at the Knowledge Village. Firstly, the food served was actually pretty delicious. I tried their pasta and quesadillas, which were pretty decent. Everything was pretty good overall, except for the time it took for them to prepare the items. It took way too long for a normal pasta and quesadillas to arrive. I hope they have improved since my last visit.

I guess, out of all the reviews I have made till date on Zomato, this one happens to disappoint me the most!! Apparently this wasn't my first time to the Skyler's, nor was it to my other friends who joined me for lunch at this restaurant. I am in the habit of keeping it subtle and mellow, even if the experience is slightly on the "not so good side". But, in this case it was actually even an embarrassment to me and my friend, who came here for lunch with a guest. Let me now get to the point - Food is good! No doubt!! So let's not go there. Apparently the only reason why the Skyler's have some people still going there... I had ordered a simple Mushroom Risotto. That was all I had ordered. The service takes easily 45 min to 1 hour. Twice in a row I had this experience. My friend had to go through this ordeal thrice, waiting for over an hour for the food!! Thrice I got up from my seat. Thrice I got the wrong food served to my table and had to take a disappointment. It's Max 20 tables (both inside and outside). I really don't understand why Skyler's are unable to fix this service issue they have. We were strongly vocal about the delay and the service. It's clear - I am not going back. I don't think my friend is going back either. To my other friends on Zomato - if you still love the food and don't care about the experience - get it ordered to your place 2 hours before you want to have it!! Absolutely not recommended to visit from my opinion! Anoopz

Ok where to begin. Let's begin with the first impression as soon as you enter. The place gives a nice warm cozy feel. Unfortunately you loose the feel as soon as you interact with the staff over here. They give a very cold and uninterested vibe. It was just not a very hospitable welcome. The food was decent. We ordered the 4 cheese pizza. It could do with more cheese to give it a 4 cheese feel. But it was good.

Despite being a regular at Knowledge Village, this is my first visit to Skyler's place. Located in Block 18 of Knowledge Village, Skyler's has decent ambiance but a very very slow service. It took More than 30 minutes for our order to be served. The order placed was for Chicken Fajita Pizza and chocolate lover shake. The pizza was very cheesy and and had the right quantity of topping. The chocolate Lover Shake was a disappointment, was no where close to be called a shake. Overall, an average experience with very slow service. Good place to dine. I had the Club Sandwhich which tasted fresh, good and wholesome :) Could literally taste all the ingredients in it - be it the coleslaw, egg or bacon ! Good job guys! Sandwhich and Fries portion was generous and quite filling. A suggestion - Please give a small separate serving of coleslaw and the dish would be PURRFFEECCTT :)

I usually grab lunch here during my breaks in university. The pastas are really good, I usually get the fettuccine Alfredo or the penne alforno. Both are really good. Am not s big fan of the other stuff on the menu, I've tried the pizza, the petti di polo and the chicken quesadilla and both were below average. On an end note, if you're craving good pasta, this is the best in knowledge village!

"The customer is always wrong" seems to be the motto of this restaurant. Every order we've ever placed has either been partially or completely wrong. Strawberry milkshakes seem to be interchangeable with strawberry mojitos, neither of which taste like the item they are. The moment a friend said her milkshake tasted sour, I knew it was time to hit the eject button on this place. The authentic Spanish omelette is neither authentic nor Spanish, with the chef assuming creative freedom to drop in random ingredients. The Italian breakfast managed to be enjoyable, although I'm not sure how an Italian would react to his grandmother's recipe being altered in such a dramatic way. The nachos were served with olives mingling with the jalapanos, and the waiter looked scandalized when I asked where the guacamole was. After being falsely told that it isn't included with the order and proven wrong, the chef mysteriously said it wasn't available. The cheese was a lazy excuse for a dipping sauce, and the only thing that managed to live up to its standard was the salsa. In addition to all this, one would expect a restaurant in Knowledge Village to offer wifi. No extra points for guessing that it wasn't an option.

I went to eat at Skyler's and ordered the cream of chicken soup as a starter... Obviously, chicken is what I was supposed to get but instead, I had sausages pieces which I really did not appreciate. Okay, after that I ordered a Club sandwich with no bacon...I got one with bacon... The experience wasn't very good but at least the staff was friendly.

My new found favourite place for lunch! I've worked in DKV for a year and only just found about this place! Gutted as it's so good! The tenderloin steak is amazing with mushroom or pepper sauce, steamed sweet potato, broccoli, courgette, carrots, tastes amazing, cooked fresh and such good value at 55aed. The power wrap is also great, as is the mushroom soup and the Massaman curry is also delicious. My one gripe is that the food can take a little time when they are busy, but then they do cook it fresh, so that's a small price to pay. Worth a visit and they deliver as well.

I always eat from this place at university as, the foodcourt doesn't have good joints to choose from. The food is average however, is better than most joints at university. Some of the servers are ignorant and cannot follow simple instructions given to them and almost always mess up the order. The best of the worst is what I'd like to say because of the limited choices.

Visited this place often as its close to university. They have some really good chicken arrabiata pasta! The portion is huge and its loaded with the right amount of chicken and cheese! The sauce is flavourful and tangy and the meal is quite filly. Their chicken quesadillas aren't all that great. Love their strawberry mojito, although its more like strawberry soda the taste is great! A good place for a filling lunch after long university hours!

I've heard a good review about Skyler's in my first or second semester, but I didn't get a chance to try it up until now! Since I'm done with Uni in a few days I decided that I MUST try this place at least, so we did a lunch there this week:D Firstly the ambience is pretty okay, I mean for knowledge village standards, it's good enough, but a little dark in terms of lighting. I personally would prefer a place with a little more light. Moving on to the food, my friends and I (3 vegetarians) ordered a Primavera Risotto and the Penne Alforno pasta. My other friend ordered himself a chicken and Caesar wrap. The risotto was full of fresh vegetables and the sauce base was delicious! The pasta was amazing and is a must try! Being a pasta lover I think this is definitely one of the good pastas in Knowledge village. In terms of serving size, we all were super stuffed, the servings are that big!! (Which is great btw!) It's a very good option for lunch at university, I would recommend it as it's not too expensive either. Since the serving size is too much for one person, I'd suggest sharing (one pasta dish) with at least one person:)

So there's a day when I am on my toes, running from work to university for practicing before my lab exams and finally the crows in my tummy cry louder for food as its already lunch time. Hungry me with my friend drop in to this place for some food and there you go. I order some Vegetarian fried rice. After about 20 mins of wait comes the plate with my order along with the make-you-feel-so-good Strawberry Milkshake. Delicious as it looks and amazing as it tastes makes me feel better and contented. Thank you for a great lunch time ! Tried Apple Mint Kiwi Mojito ...such a relishing experience..

Been here multiple times when I used to study at Knowledge Village. Love the fact that they have good service and their staff is quite patient. My favorite has to be their chicken pasta with pink sauce.
