Ordered 7 Parathas and I’m extremely disappointed. The size is of a mini paratha and does not qualify for a Pakistani paratha by any means. The texture is extremely rubbery and not chewable at all by kids nor adults. Not made by wheat surely, just flour. NOT RECOMMENDED for parathas 👎

Nice place with loads of food options .. A place recommended for Pakistani cuisine lovers !! Taste wise food was good I am usually not a big fam of buffer but this place is quiet good !! Though the place has good food at a reasonable price yet the crowd and congested sitting space. The menu remains quiet similar as many times you visit making is boring ... table are set too close to each other and its jam packed with indecent crowd ... Liked the food to be particular the grill , salad and desserts .. Soups are not upto the mark , neither the gravies are very great ... Haleem is not even worth trying ....!! Overall : Offers a good variety at the price , worth a try if you are looking for a good buffet at reasonable price . Rating 8/10

I have been ordering almost daily. Very good quality food. Only I did not like mutton kebabs because there was no salt and flavor in it. Otherwise mutton curry and mutton biryani are the best because they use very good quality mutton . Keep it up

It is a great choice for Pakistani buffet. They have a wide range of food including BBQ, salads, sauce, rice, breads and curries. Range of deserts is also wide and tasty. Highlights are grilled items and haleem. Do not forget to invite the Shehansha on your table and request for poetry. Parking on backside is a great facility.

Review Time: ‘’Lal Qila’’ is located in Jumeirah 1 near 2nd December street, opposite UAE flag. This restaurant is famous for its vast variety of Pakistani and North Indian food. They have dressed all their staff in Mughlai costumes. There is no buffet set up in the restaurant for the time being. But there is this ‘’all you can eat’’ deal in which food is served on the table. I found it more convenient to be served on the table then getting up n standing in queues to get the food as this restaurant gets very busy at times. Menu was a mix of veg and non veg food. Sarson ka saag topped with butter served with makai ki roti was delicious. BBq platter, chicken biryani, Shalimar chicken and other dishes were equally good. Sweet dish platter was consisted of gulab jamans, shahi tukray, kheer and chocolate cake. Of which gulab jamans were the best! This restaurant has this guy dressed in a kings costume who wanders from table to table and recites poetry to the diners. He was quite entertaining. Just remember that he keeps coming back to your table unless u tip him in cash. Average ambience but great food! Restaurant is offering several lunch and dinner deals, deals for 2 person and for 5-6 people and all you can eat deals. Please check their Facebook page for more information. Ordered one of their Ramadan deals. It had biryani, chicken handi, naan, chicken chowmein, bbq platter with kabab, tikka, fish tikka, etc. Also contained some Gulab jamans too! Loveddd the biryani & the bbq. Absolutely delicious! The green fish tikka was great! Overall the quality of the food was really good!

We visited here yesterday. The ambience is so horrible and the service is pathetic. The seating is congested and difficult to move freely. The food quality is not good and not at all worthy for the money. Will never pass even near to this place and not recommending to anyone.

If you're fond of north Indian and Pakistani cuisine, you should try out this place. They have amazing varieties of grill with lots of sea food options. Chat center is too good and Haleem, Mutton Pulao and Sarso da sag is a must try. They don't have much for main course, but frankly we don't need in a buffet dinner. I wanted to have a Pan in the end which was a major miss 😊 Bit expensive, but reasonable for the food they offer

They have lot of options in their buffet the grill items are very good but I found the curry dishes very oily and not so tasty the place is very nice and very lively they have a Kacha parking behind the restaurant

I had gone there with a guest who came on a visit to Dubai. We took them here after hearing the great food that this place has to offer. The grill and the kebabs were absolutely delicious. The fish grill was a bit too big and needed slight improvement. The salads were good. The biriyani would've been better with more spice ad it tasted a bit bland. The soups were alright. The breads were really soft. The curries were decent. The desserts were good. They have the ice lollies and had lots of flavours to choose from. The cakes were moist and the Shahi Kheer was delicious. There could be some noise here on weekends due to the rush. They celebrate birthdays with in the Mughalai way and in a poetic fashion which I really liked. Overall... It was a good experience.

Service is alright but we took Groupon voucher for 10 people and 2 of my friend’s voucher wer not reserved and restaurant people created a nuisance at the entrance itself. Though the manager was polite.. and accepted the voucher after a series of discussions. Manager was courteous enough to let us in later... Lal qila should come up with better way of handling it. Also it nearly took 45mins for the bill to arrive as they had to cross check everything. We made advance payment through Groupon so that we don’t waste much time and still we ended up waiting for 45mins. Coming back to food- please improve the quality and taste of it. I ain’t complaining because my 1st visit to lal qila was good and 2nd visit which was yesterday was bad. We selected that place for my aunt’s birthday and there was so much confusion even before we executed our birthday celebration. I will not consider this place for any celebration for future. Thanks!

Have been trying for over 30 minutes and the app says the restaurant is open now. We have come to the restaurant a few times and like the food and the relaxed ambience but this booking experience was disappointing.

Great place for foodies !! The buffet have variety of foods including soups,salads, starters,main course and desserts. They hv varieties in veg section too. Live sections where available in kebabs, chinese ,chats etc. Taking care of diabetes people unsweetened desserts where also seen. Seriously speaking I couldn't taste all items 😆😆..

I had visited three or four times for the dinner buffet there. I think the price was AED 80 for a person, the food was delicious. It's a perfect place to catch up with friends and if you are at larger groups. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a theme restaurant. They have tried to provide a Mughal era environment, I am not going into the details, but it was good. Veg and non veg everyone has options there. That day they had arranged 97 items, from fuska to pudding with different types of parota, kebab and beriani. Deserts were also delicious. The manager and the staffs were very helpful. We have enjoyed our time.

Loved the buffet here. Went on Eid ul Fitr 2nd day and was so happy to have lunch here. The variety is excellent. The grills are scrumptious. The ambience is lovely too. Ample parking too. I did an Advance booking so we quickly got our seats. Thankyou for the amazingness!

A Value For Money restaurant which offers a good choice of Barbeque and other dishes that cater to various palettes, from regular Pakistani & Indian Styled Barbecue dishes to even Chinese and a touch of Arabic this restaurant lays it all there. We were spoiled for choice, even the deserts were magnificent. Certainly recommended if you and your family are voracious eaters. However if you have a small appetite then paying for a Buffet just doesn't make sense, so skip a couple of meals to go there. Will certainly recommend the restaurant to many. I had heard that the restaurant offered entertainment, but we hadn’t seen any in the last 04 times that we visited the place, however we were 05th time lucky to meet “Shazada Saleem” their in house poet and entertainer and he is brilliant. Can wax eloquent with a rhyme for every reason, season and person on the table, with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes, great entertainer. Kudos to the team of Lal Qila we are always happy to go there each time
