years....Amazing bada sambhar, amazing paper masala dosa, amazing Mysore masala dosa, amazing yummy fresh idlis... amazing Dosas.....nothing like here. No one can beat Dosa taste than Madhura rest, price winning also 😊

We had 2 plates of Idli Vada, Ghee Roast Dosa, Masala Dosa and Tomoto onion uttappam
Idli Vada - the idli was steaming hot and the size was huge. The vada was very crisp. They were served with red chutney ( spicy), green chutney (delish) and Sambar.
Ghee Roast Dosa- It is my personal favourite as its very lite and healthy. It is made with Ghee which makes its very crispy 😍
Masala Dosa- Smelled Divine and tasted yummy
Tomoto Onion Uttappam- Must try! Portion size was very good

Its is the best and affordable south Indian restaurant in Dubai. Only problems that can be faces is parking around especially on weekends.
The food is very delicious all types of dosas, idli sambhar and uthapam etc. 1 rating I am taking out is of hygiene. I think restaurant can do better. But overall best place to eat south Indian food.
As a south Indian this place comes close to my palate back home than any other restaurant in Dubai. Their breakfast menu is set and their rice baths everyday are quite good. I have tried their Thali as well but it wasn't up to the mark. This place is very budget friendly, you can easily fill up with a few dhirams in your pocket. All the staff speak Tamil and their service is fast. My only compliant if any is that of their hygiene which can improved.

If you want to eat cheap and best dosa Madhura is the perfect place to dine in .. They are serving the best dosas .. of course their menu is very limited n you will not get much choices .. I had ordered mushroom dosa n poori bhaji .. Pooi bhaji was ok but mashroom dosa was really awesome .. Mushroom filling was spicy n tasty .. Place is not really Hygienic but taste is good ..

Authentic Tamil Nadu taste. I love Sambar idly very much and price is very economic. I haven’t got this much taste in any other expensive restaurants in Dubai . I suggested all my South Indian friends to go there. You too try idly sambar here 😊

Idli! Completely love their idli. It's their top seller I guess.
Also, they have different rice varieties on different days.
Look out for Tomato Rice on Sundays. It is very tasty and very reasonable.

Authentic South Indian food is something each and everyone crave for special we North Indians because we enjoy the softness it has and it is every easy on stomach as well.
So We ordered Paper masala dosa, Tomato utpam and Onion dosa at this place. The food came in good 10 minutes and it was really good. With coconut chutney and tomato ones, what more you can ask for.
It was very nicely prepared and I loved it. The bill was 26 dirhams for three dishes which is nothing if you living in Dubai or working for two people
This South indian place is at different level. I generally go for takeaways for specific reasons and that's doesn't stop me not to eat from them. Opens for early birds, I generally go for breakfast and love their upma! Double thumps up.
Always seen this restaurant crowded so decided of try the food here. Ordered for poori bhaji and masala chai. Poori was crispy just the way i like it. Bhaji wasn't that tasty.

A hidden gem in Meena Bazar. Location and ambience is poor but the taste is exceptional. Their chutney beats Saravana Bhavan and Venus. Prices are lesser compared to the well known restaurants.

I am a regular visitor to this place as food is Economical as well as very good. The only thing because of which I am giving 4 stars not 5, is the attitude of staff. The staff servicing there feels that they are doing a favour to you. They are never smiling. That literally ruin the entire experience. But overall food is very good. You must try if you have the patience to handle non-courteous service.
My favorite dishes are Idly and Onion Uthappam served with fresh coconut chutney and sambar (no flavor power in that sambar) Yummy taste. But crowded during dinner time.

A good South Indian restaurant to look for in Dubai. It’s pocket friendly and healthy located in midst of Bur Dubai. They have a variety of breakfast dishes making them one of the best Indian restaurants back there.
We are at meena bajar and heard that madhura is a very famous for the South Indian food..!! So we tried over there.. It was my last day in dubai so we had a dinner over there..!! We ordered paper Masala dosa and it was good. Sambhar is the show stopper in entire dish..!!
One thing I noted that tables are dirty and the waiters are not interested to flush the tables so it was not good.!!
The restaurant is jam packed. The idlis and dosas are tasty. Particularly the sambar. I am not too happy about their tomato chutney. But then I don't have to complain. So essentially if you are ok with lots of noise, sharing tables and eating with strangers then this place is a sure visit. The food is delicious and that includes their thali. Ambience and service .... well no one seems to complain.

My quest for a nice South Indian meals brought me to this eatery in a busy location. All other things stand ignored in front of quality and taste of food served. Nice n crispy dosa, balanced in flavors, a super light and smooth idly, a sambhar that nevers fills you up and that smile of this guy serving us. Will be back one another day, soon very soon. My first preference for breakfast goes to Madhura. The name itself resembles the taste. Though the service is slow, can wait for the food which I love. Their sambar with idly... yummmy I best madrasi Sambar.
In Mumbai's language, it is a perfect Udupi restaurant (South Indian restaurant run by Shetty community). You can always expect yummy South Indian food ignoring other factor of restaurants as they know how to prepare food.
Situated in foodie paradise - Meena Bazaar, they serve finger licking food and of course at economical rates. If food is tasty and hygienic, then ambience can be ignored. Service was good. Ordered Masala Dosa and Puri Bhaji and bill was AED 14.
Must try for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner if want to eat good food with less price and avoiding the ambience.
Complete 3.5 rating is for food.

Anna one ghee roast,give me some sambar,anna coconut chutney, pl give some raitha...all this will be possible in india and especially when i go to my homeplace...because we eat sambar and chutney for dosa and not the vice versa...

One of the oldest yet underrated south indian places in meena bazar. Madhura has some great authentic idli dosa meals. I take away quite regularly from them and have never been disappointed with the consistency of quality. Their sambar is the best I've tried in Dubai. The sad thing is they don't do home delivary and so you must go and either dine in or takeaway. The price is extremely reasonable.
For veggie chaps/Family who miss their Mommy/Granny cuisine or the touch of authentic Tamil(South Indian) food, Here we have "Madhura" which reminds me of home for that Orange (Onion-tomato) Chutney with those yummy Dosas and Idlis....... For all the Single Bachelor's like me Madhura is Destiny.

One of the place where you can get authentic south Indian food. Taste is unchanged whenever you go and very good. Especially their Idli, Medu Wada, Dosa and Uttappam. This is a small vegetarian restaurant on the road side. Last time when i visited was on january 2014. We went to aster clinic, when my wife was pregnent. she asked me for one masala dosa and we went here. from that time i always wished to go bak there again, because i loved that taste that much. now after two years i went here again with our 1.5 year old kid. i was thinking how fast 2 years gone. 😊
they have arrange tables outside and we love to sit there. i ordered the masala dosa and the taste is same as like two year before. my heart says to order one more dosa, while my stomach says no more dosa. its the best dosa in that area, specially their chutney , its so good. will defeniely go there again. their masala tea was superb. must try for all. 👏
This is very low rated place, may be due to ambiance? Not sure. I was in meena Bazaar to meet someone and I had idli vada here, oh my God, oh my god, THE BEST IDLI, SAMBAR, CHUTNEY in Dubai. Hygiene need to be improved for sure, servers were a bit rude, may be communication barrier ! IDLI lovers just can't miss this place

Another takeaway place, (never sat here). Masala dosa served with sambar and two chutneys cost just around Aed8 (used to be a whooping Aed5.50 before). The potato masala here has more vegetables than other places but the dosas are equally oily but delicious. I think their thali service is famous because that's the only thing that I mostly see people eat here while sitting. The idly and uthappam are tasty too.

Best South Indian Breakfast and Dinner Restaurant. Its best place for bachelors and for all those who wish to save pennies. Even though the ambiance and place is not clean and tidy, they provide a very good customer service. Quiet crowded always. Quality and Quantity is good for the amount we pay. I love their SAMBAR.Taste and variety is good since they mostly have all the items in the menu with special variety every day at night like Kashmiri pulao, tomato rice etc.Must Try: Mushroom Dosa, Channa Batura and Pulao.I would recommend this place for all bachelors.

My favorite destination for pakka South Indian food. Love the different types of Dosas here. My favorite is Mashroom Masala dosa. The chutney and chammanthi served with dosa was good.One plate of kothu paratha is enough for two people if you are not very hungry. I dint like the total setup of the restaurant cleanliness wise cos you can see the staff washing the dishes while you eat inside.
