I visited this place two daya back. The seatings and the beautiful lightings were really brilliant. The gobi semi gravy that i ordered came in quicker than i thought. Yet they could have done justice to the size of the porotta. Was quite a smaller one for the set (which comes in with two porotta). The service was fantastic.

I can promise you that paramount is one of the best restaurants that serves keralite foods. It have a family friendly atmosphere and the best ambience to relax and have the food. The prices are so reasonable and the food is so tasty.

was passing by karama yesterday and decided to eat dinner at this restaurant. delicious south indian food. Despite being full, service was on time. we ordered the green mango salad, prawns moilee, appams, paratas, kingfish tawa fry and dragon chicken.
Though the presentation of the food was not that great, the taste made up for it. Value for money. the waiter was kind enough to offer us extra gravy for the moilee upon request. After a good meal, we ordered the dancing tea. which was one of the highlights made with fresh milk froth.

An unlimited lunch thali for 11 bucks is totally worth it. Served on a banana leaf, South Indian style, there was a variety of gravies, dry, and pickles.
Not to forget, two kettles filled with Rasam and Buttermilk were on the table.
There's also Paysam that you can end with, included in the Thali. We ordered a fish dry on the side, which cost, I suppose 11 bucks and also chai.
So worth it!

Pricing is quite good, portions are decent compared to its competition.

It's safe to say that Paramount is one of the best restaurants that serves Keralite cuisine in Karama. The ambience is very modern & family friendly. The decor is eye-catchy; with a wall displayed of the essential spices used in Indian cuisine. Our order - Karimeen Pollichathu, Pepper Chicken Masala & Kerala Paratha (Flour + Wheat). At the beginning of the meal, we were served with a small bowl of salad, jeera (cumin) water and a refreshing mango-like drink. The flavours on the Pollichathu and pepper chicken were great without being overwhelmingly spicy, accompanied well with the paratha. I would definitely prefer the wheat paratha over the other paratha. The service is great and the portions are well sufficient.

After seeing the outlet for almost 2 years, visited to have lunch after 3pm. Since it’s late to have meals and biriyani I tried their beef ularthiyathu, chappathi and wheat paratha starting with a lime tea !! Beef was amazing with exact spice and raisins to give a sweetness in between !!

Friday afternoon I went there and ordered Mango Falooda and Passion 'N Flames. Both were nice. But they took long time to serve. Passion 'N Flames is mixed with lemon, Chili.
Landed there out of hunger and time to find for any other restaurants but came out with happy stomach and happy faces , their fish is amazing and the mint raita or chutney whatever you name it I won’t forget the taste of it. Ambience and interior: well enough, price is worth the amount of food they serve.
Been out here once when I was there in Al karama .. delicious food, had ordered chicken biryani and kabab which was really yummm .. totally worth it.

Had been here for Chai today. It was quite busy. We went for ginger and sada chai with dal wada. chai was really good. Wada seemed wasn't hot, yet tasted good. Might go here again sometime to chill with friends. Nice place to sit and chat.

A value for money restaurant in the area, a very well made interior & a classy wooden seating outside as well. Their Kerala meals are cheap and tasty if one has to have good food within 10 DHS. they even serve very cheap combos with a good portion of rice or parotha & gravy which is a saver in terms of money and choice ( Don’t have to think so much as the quality & quantity both are good).

A very well rounded restaurant. They have some outdoor seating also. Lots of brown woodwork went into interiors. Very neat and clean. Wall and ceiling decorations of such style and art is very rarely seen in this locality. And the pocket pinch is unbelievably budget friendly.
I was passing by and found this place and had an impromptu lunch and came away super satisfied.
The restaurant was not crowded when I went in mid day around a month ago. I was attended to, immediately. The menu is predominantly of South India and Kerala.
I was greeted with a welcome drink of some sort which I am not familiar with. The complimentary salad was also freshly cut and garden fresh.
I am fond of seafoods and thence went for Appams @1.50 dhs and crab masala dry fry and shrimps Malabar fry @22dhs each.
The Appams were mind blowing. Simple but to the heart. The crabs were a huge lot. The spices were not over the top though thickishly spread. There were lot of flesh in the shells - shows that it was taken at the right time and very fresh too. The prawns were medium in size and fried with a thick coat of masala and with the head in tact. Juicy and succulent. Actually the chef sent out a message that the quantity being so much, would I reconsider my order? But that intrigued me and I was not regretting the order one bit.
They also have Chinese, Arabic cuisines and some South Asian variations. The presentations were also something to look forward to. Very rarely we find such nice plating and tabling in keralite restaurants.
Price point of Maximum 22 for main courses are unheard of. And I have become a fanboy.
They have all types of salads, soups, desserts and mocktails. Even the veg menu seemed droolworthy. Next time surely.
Finally the brilliant personal care for the service was very appreciated. They also gave a small bowl of payasam as a complimentary dessert. What more could I ask for!!
The highest recommendation is ensured for this restaurant from my heart.
Best roadside tea had in recent times and they have separate live stations for the tea and snacks and the place was not crowded much so far I have tried only their tea and fallen in love with it they are open very well in morning around 6 so it’s good to grab your tea during ur morning drive, yet to explore other items

Visited the restaurant to have the Vishu Sadhya. 5 of us from the office went together. There was lot of take away. Bit rush, the food was good the people were very friendly in traditional Kerala dress.. So one more Vishu in Dubai. 23 years in GCC. Kerala is not missed here.

We ordered pepper chicken charcoal, dragon chicken, fried rice and gobi Manchurian and everything they served were really delicious. Staffs are so friendly and service is really appreciable. Last night we arrived and we walked to broccoli pizza and pasta , the service , the quality of the food and the setting is the best I have ever had - I would rate it as the best restaurant.
Recently visited this restaurant. I checked the reviews on zomato before i visit. It was rated 3.5 but its should not be 3.5, instead must be 4.5 or above as per my experience.
Ordered kerala meals along with small salmon fry (mathi in malayalam). And chicken biriyani as well.
The fish fry was one of the best with kerala nadan masala i ever had. And the chicken biriyani also was good.
Was little crowded as the rates are very reasonable and economical with lovely food.
One of the best restaurant as per the dishes i tried. Reasonable price and tasty food.
Lunch time is full of Bachelors so some times need little more privacy for families or couples.

Found another delicious kerala cuisine restaurant in karama , Paramount
Economical and delicious food And all
dishes are made to order.
Our order for the night was;
1- Prawn moilee; A Prawn dish which had 6 good sized prawn in thick yellow coconut milk gravy, which goes best with puttu,
2 - Appam; soft , light, fluffy, crispy
3 - Nellapara chappu curry; A crab dish unbelievably priced at 18dhs, I was not quite sure with what I would get at this price, surprisingly it came with 2 large crabs, the dish was made with a kerala infused masala gravy. They had the right flavours init. A recommendation would be to reduce the chili content as it was super spicy.
4- Tawa fried fish; although I’m not a fish fan , I liked their preparation with all the mixed spices blended and marinated with the fish.
5- Mutton pepper roast; 2 chunks of mutton in onion , tomato paste gravy.
6- Dhal tadka; tasted well, nothing extraordinary. Satisfied the requirement.

Economical south indian restaurant in Karama. Great ambience, quick service and great food.Prawns malabar fry and kingfish fry are the best. They also have banana leaf veg and non veg meals for lunch. The restaurant is quite crowded on fridays so be prepared to wait.
It was a good experience visiting Paramount Restaurant for lunch. I had normal meals which was amazing at AED 8. Price is really unbelievable. The taste was so good. The interior of the restaurant is awesomely appreciable. I recommend its a good place to bring friends and family. Few things missing was good hot drinking water and welcome drink.
I am a regular visitor of this restaurant. The best thing they serve which i dont i find anywahere else is adapayasm with icecream🍨. But sadly most of the time it gets over quickly. Meals and fish biriyani is also really good here ;)

This place is very good . They welcome you with a refreshing drink. The food is great I recommend trying the kebabs and the Arabic grills . The drinks are fairly good . The deserts are good especially the tiramisu . Its a great place
Chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani are good. Chicken mappas is very nice. If you want to experience real kerala taste, this is one of the best.

Stepped in thinking of good malabar food. Ordered for some traditional south indian meal on a bannana leaf, some mutton biryani (was good), chicken blaster, prawns kumarakom and some fish fry. Also tried a traditionl sherbet called nanari (was a meledy of sweetness and spice). The food is spicy. The interirors are well set but i think being a friday the place was at its peak.
Decent taste with very good interiors and ambiance..Tasted kerala sadya here..It's a kind of south indian full meals with boiled rice ,fish gravy ,dal ,sambar ,3 vegetable fries ,rasam along with a sweet dish... It's very tasty and waiters are also very good with serving. We can add on fried fish for 4AED.
It's just 8AED any day for unlimited lunch meals.
P.S :- wash basin taps with wooden bamboo type outlets caught the attention of my eyes..Kudos to architect and designer 👍👌

Ordering non kerala food may not be a good option. I ordered the normal kerala meals as lunch...
Loved the way they served in banana leaf which reminded me of kerala traditional sadya. The rice and curry (sambar and fish curry) was pretty good but side dishes were disappointing particularly the very salty beetroot thoran.
Their interior setting is great, they have displayed fishes available for frying to go along with meals.
Have to try other dishes to give a detailed review.
Visited this restaurant during my holiday in Dubai. Being from India, south India food is a cuisine one can't miss and being my favorite cuisine I had to visit Paramount.
We ordered for about 4 -5 dishes . but the aapams were my favourite, so soft and fluffy, perfect sweetness and perfect texture, had them along with a prawn curry, cant really remember the name of the dish. The spices and masalas are so flavourful and add to the aroma of the food. I had water in my mouth as soon as the food arrived at the table and couldn't wait to eat all of it.
The tender coconut custard is something you shouldn't miss when you come here, tiny pieces of tender coconut (malai) in your mildly flavoured tender coconut custard, so cooling & the perfect desert to end your meal with.
The best place for south Indian food ! I'd surely visit this place on my next trip without fail, I can visit this place over and over again and I'm sure I'll never get bored of it.

The ambience is beautiful and well set. We had ordered dragon chicken which was really good and ended up ordering four plates of it by the end, it went really well with their hot crispy kerala porotta. Pepper chicken charcoal was average and the garlic paste was more of just mayonnaise. Beef ularthiyath and chicken pepper curry were above average.
However, we had to wait for some more time than usual for getting out food on the table.

Your taste buds are ticking and you have no where to go, then take a trip to Karams Paramount. They serve authentic kerala,indian food at a very affordable price.The kerala sadhya type food is served everyday noon. This place gets crowded on the weekends, so just come in early. Overall good.
