I was super hungry when I reached here, I called for appams and butter chicken. The appams were soft fluffy and yummy. The butter chicken was ok, not bad. I had a good meal and I like their ambience. Decent place.
The restaurant's beautiful from inside and very big in and around that area...we ordered appam, chicken kadai and beef roast...I enjoy beef roast specially from keralite restaurants as they fry them and the spicy flavour in them..service was bit slow as we had to wait for appams...overall experience was good..
This is a place where I enjoyed the impatience of waiting for the food! The reason was the nothing but the melodious tracks they played in the restaurant. Nevertheless should I add, the food was excellent too and nice people. A restaurant should be like this. It is not the great chairs or the chandeliers that makes a happy table but it is the food they serve. It is the hospitality they show. Great job guys! Keep up the spirit! ..and thanks for a nice evening.

Loved the mango prawn curry, the special beef fry and staff was great with service. Will definitely have my meal on a banana leaf next time!
I have been to the restaurant recently. They serve amazing food. Great timing and friendly staff. The ambience in there creates a homily feeling. I recommend this place for a casual hangout with family or friends.
A decent place to have south indian fare. tried their Alleppey fish curry, butter chicken with paratha. liked the fish curry, good flavours. Chicken biriyani was good, as you would find in any decent such restaurant. overall a good experience. What you see, is what you get, the name could be a bit misleading but once you walk in its a decent neighborhood eatery. service was prompt. Will visit again to try other dishes.
Good mallu style restaurant though the name says otherwise. Food was pretty okay. Ambiance good for family or large group of friends -for a weekend quick bite. The curries and dishes are reasonably good.
After hearing lots of negative reviews, finally I end up with Cocoriva. I was surprised when I enter to restaurant. It's huge and very well arranged, very friendly and helpful staff . My order was Fish mango curry , beef coconut fry , chicken Malabar curry , KERALA parata and appam . Fish curry was really mind blowing, very well balanced and fish was amusingly fresh. Beef fry also remarkable. KERALA paratha required little bit improvement. Overall I was really happy and satisfied. I was really wondering why the restaurant getting this much negative review. Definitely again .......
Have only eaten their pothi choru which is a more than satisfying pack of lunch. Wrapped in a plantain leaf, every constituent of the meal feels so home like. This is my regular now. And at just 10 bucks, it's a definite steal. I'm curious about the other things on their menu. Some day for sure.
The butter chicken is the best in Dubai. I happened to stumbled this place when I was going to the driving school nearby. Now I have been ordering online and have it delivery to home and it's still very tasty. I absolutely love it and will recommend it! Thumbs up!
It's one of the best budget friendly restaurant I visited in Dubai... good staff.. being pure vegetarian and one who doesn't prefer non-veg restaurants it's still my favorite... last month we took Kashmiri pulao parcel from there when we were in a hurry...while waiting for our parcel they served us with their complimentary drink(juice) which was just delicious and i must say it's 10/10... so we visited again for a dine in and yet again juice is on top... and food is also yummy.. well served...
Prompt service and delicious food. Will be our regular joint because of the authentic taste that this restaurant delivers. Calicut chicken roast was one of those dishes that blew my mind off. Keep it up.

Had been to this place on a Saturday night . Though I live near the resto never been there but heard lots . I ordered chicken . One thick gravy , one curry and Puttu . normally I don't have Puttu at night but thought of trying for a change.....The chicken was extremely delicious. Both curry and thick gravy. A little too spicy for my choice but since I love spicy it was all right. Complimentary drink was amazing. Nice decor and neat. Attentive staff. Food took a lil bit of time to arrive but its fine ...overall an excellent experience ....
Amazing family restaurant. Food taste fresh and tasty. Service is great, always there to serve you. Price is very reasonable. This is my 3rd visit and absolutely love this place.
The food here is really good and the places is huge. Parking is never a problem, the restaurant has done really well with their interiors. The food here has been really good here and i understand thats because of a change in their management. The fried rice and briyanis were brilliant along with the butter chicken and and beef fry. I felt the pricing was normal also. They also have "Podhi Chor Briyani" btw!!

Very beautiful and authentic South Indian food. The ambience is very family friendly and the staff is very kind. I order from here on a regular basis and the delivery is very quick. You will leave satisfied.
Yummy sea food ! The Fish Chatti Curry (Hamour) with Kerala Porotta was ultimate. The customer is given a choice to select the fish and all looked fresh. Kanthari fish is the USP. But it took around 45 mins to get in prepared and when it served, we understood it is worth the wait.
The Beef Kizhi tasted different. The chicken fry was also good. All the staff are very friendly and they entertained the kids and babies with balloons etc. A good choice for families. Ample seating capacity and clean.
Had been to this joint last Friday after reading lot of mixed reviews on Zomato. We reached little early and there were so much empty seats. A quite big dining hall with lots of space. The servers where very welcoming and they waited for us to go through the vast menu. As we were looking for less spicy Chicken items, the server suggested to take Malabari Kozhi curry. We also ordered Chicken Varaval which was a dry item. For side, we ordered Wheat and Kerala Porotta. Both the main course were tasty and the Porotta was hot and crispy, but soft. Chicken Noodles was also ordered, which had a very big portion, quite enough for 2. By the time we finished, the dining hall was almost filled. Will definitely visit again.

a great place for family and friends who have great appetite we were a party of 3 had a chicken tikka masala and fish kandharimolakku ittathu(avoli/pomfret), the best part we can choose our fish and this is a dish only for strong hearts because its too spicy reminds me of the toddy shop back in kerala and garlic naan and kerala porotta to dig it in. overall their services were great waiters were courteous very attentive and please do chuck the salad or make it more presentable please its really an eye sore on the table. porotta was great it was hot and not stiff. Naan was soft and not too much infused in garlic. we had mango ice cream which was like normal to normal nothing great nor too bad no presentation though.

Was down at Coco Riva last friday. We went there for an early dinner and hence, got a nice little booth. Interior was neatly done. We ordered Beef Kondattam, Chicken Kothaara, Fish Tawa Fry with Appam and Porotta. The chicken came in a clay pot and was rich in coconut milk. Had an authentic flavour to it. As a plus, it was boneless fried chicken in it. Beef Kondattam was mad spicy, water just couldn't deal with it. So we decided to order the desserts beforehand, ordered the elaneer (tender coconut) pudding. Thinking itd be a small serving, we thought two would be enough but oh my, never have we been more wrong. This thing came filled in a tender coconut itself, chilled (refer to picture). It was too good btw. Half of it was the coconut flesh and the other half was coconut water with gelatin. A must try in simple words.

i had order as a Starter Sweet Corn Chicken Soup it was simple and common provided by all restaurant, then in main course i had order
Chicken Kothaara which was served in a Pot cover in Banana leaf it was existing and new for me to experience something like this
but the curry was not as expected it was not that spice and some different taste to talk about .
Secondly i had order Pepper chicken which had good taste and a good mixture of favour in it
the parotta were soft and delicious i love this parotta in south indian restaurants
after all this had order Falooda in Dessert and Mint Drink
Falooda worth the value i had order 10AED
but they had 15 AED falooda also available
I liked the Falooda All do it took more than 15 to serve
Lime drink had nothing special in it and nothing to comment

Friday night and all are running for good food. Was hearing this name for sometime and was high time we visit this place. Wanted a quick dinner and went but had to wait for 15mins. Then we got a table and just placed the order quickly. My frnd ordered the pothi chicken biriyani and i ordered the porotta and pepper chicken curry. The restaurant was full and all the tables occupied. They had small stall just typical keralite, where they displayed the mangoes and other fruits dipped in salt water. Well decorated interiors and i found an arab family too coming in for dinner. Thw food came quickly and we started. The porotta was not too good but the curry was just right. Not too spicy but with all the flavors. The pothi biriyani was the star. Not very common here this was a great dish. The dum biriyani wrapped in banana leaf that is the explanation. Our dinner was over very fast and the service was also very quick.
Visited this place many times with family. The interiors n the ambience is really welcoming. We have had chicken biriyani really good and tastes like the one made at home. Their chicken lollipop is my favourite snack and also like the chicken corn soup. Overall a delightful experience..will visit again soon..
This is my first visit, I feel good when I saw the interiors and the ambiance. We ordered pantegon chicken and butter chicken , I like the pantegon one, it taste gud, but the butter chicken I feel normal one with less salt.
I feel the service should be improve.
This is the first restaurant my cousin took me to after I landed in Dubai. It was 2am in the night and the city was still buzzing with life. We were driving around qusais and we wanted to try some Kerala cusine. So we stopped at Coco Riva.
The restaurant was pretty big to me, normal restaurants are much smaller in India. I started to like the Dubai/Sharjah life.
We ordered Kerala parotta, a beef pepper dish, barbecued fish and finished with tea. The fish was really great. I knew I'm going to have a crazy food month from that night onwards.
